I lived at the SkyHouse temporarily during my relocation to the area and had a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly courteous, responsive and friendly and the folks at the front desk remember your name, greet you with a smile when you walk through the door and genuinely treat you like family. I highly recommend SkyHouse to anyone looking for a top-notch downtown living experience.
I have lived at SkyHouse Raleigh for about 4 years. From the leasing office to concierge, to maintenance and housekeeping, the service is consistently excellent. If you want a beautiful apartment, in a beautiful, well-maintained and secure building, look no further. The amenities are top notch. The SkyHouse Team works together to make sure residents and their guests are happy to be here.
Possibly the best place Ive lived. I spent a year in a corner apartment on the 22nd floor and the view was a constant astonishment that centered and calmed me. Also in the evening I could just look out the window and see where the noise was coming from and then go see what all the fuss was about. The interior of each apartment I viewed were similarly well decorated and contained very modern kitchen utilities, dark wood floors and floor to ceiling windows. And if anything went wrong with anything the maintenance crew would be there like a shot. There wasnt a single time where someone grumbled about responsibility, cost etc.Through talking to the maintenance folks and the concierges ( who were all just brilliant helpful people ) I learned its a very new building and its triple thick glass combined with being on a separate power line from most of the area makes it exceptionally safe. A hurricane hit while I lived there and I just turned my recliner toward the window, got myself a scotch and enjoyed the show. The amenities within the building are fantastic, like the saltwater rooftop pool that isnt full of chlorine or the gym beside it. Oh and heres a note to anyone looking to move there, you will hear the gym now and then when someone is getting carried away because its basically the floor above you so the 21st floor might be better than the 22nd. Theres also a pool table and barbecue area and my favorite thing, a fire pit on the rooftop that springs to life with a touch of a button. I ended up by the firepit, looking at the stars at the end of a lot of nightsIt seemed like the building attracted a lot of younger individuals, each had worked out some downtown game that netted them a high income or they were living on a trust fund in some cases. Which is not to say they were bad people, but you cant help but notice its a bit more exotic than the average apartment so brace yourself for that.If there was a downside living there is was getting your groceries from the private parking garage to the elevator and then into the apartment, but then I discovered Instacart and that problem went away.Moving in is easier that I feared as there is a large sized service elevator in addition to the 2 regular ones and the concierge can arrange to secure its use for your move.Ive never stopped missing the view
I love living here for the obvious reasons that we are in a great area of downtown right next to Moore square and City Market where there are always fun happenings going on like Thursday/Sunday pop-ups and music concerts and always great food. But the best reason to live here is the staff! Every employee here is super friendly, especially the front desk attendants! The front desk attendant Robert is a super star. He always sets aside my packages when he sees me walking my dog so they are up front and ready for me to pick them up at the end of my walk. Its such a small thing but its huge for me, especially considering this is a big building! The maintenance staff here is also amazing, they are so fast to respond to the very few requests Ive ever had to put in - usually same day! And finally, the leasing agents - theyre a group of really fun girls who are always throwing together fun resident appreciation activities (like ice cream sundays and friday happy hours!). Love it here!I should also note - this place is so dog friendly! I have a little pit that is loved by my neighbors and the staff :)
I was in town 4 months for a project and rented a fully furnished apartment in the building. I was on the 20th floor so it was quite and the view was amazing. The pool, gym, and grilling area are some of the best I have experienced. Vivian, Sidney, and Belle provided outstanding customer service and were extremely helpful in resolving any small issues or answering questions. The building has 24 hour doorman service and to here Justin or Robert always say welcome home Mr. Hoover when I would walk in the door always put a smile on my face. The short of it is great place, great people, great location. Thank to yall more making time away from home seem like home!!
Moved in here two months ago, and my experience has been great so far. The amenities and views are fantastic, and the concierges go above and beyond to make the residents feel welcome, especially Justin and Robert! The building is also very well maintained
Moved to Raleigh on a whim, wasnt sure where to stay. Im glad I picked Skyhouse. Have really enjoyed staying here so far. Favorite feature: thiccc concrete walls, cant hear any of my neighbors. Also, the concierge and management staff are always very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!
I have lived at Skyhouse for almost two years. One of the highlights is Robert at the concierge desk, he always has a smile on his face and is super helpful. He seems to know everyone in the building by name and is well informed on the building and what’s going on the area. He goes out of his way to be helpful and is a definite asset to Skyhouse
One of the best Places to live in Raleigh with best in class in Managerial Staff, Amenities, Quality of the Apartments, location and price. Dare I say pound for pound they are the best.
Easily one of the best apartments weve lived in. We stayed there for about a year. The amenities were great, and the maintenance guys were quick and efficient. They did an excellent job at managing mail and packages too. The managers at the leasing office went out of their way to help us. The main thing that stood out for me was customer service. A big shout out to the front desk staff who were always kind, polite and professional. Our stay here really exceeded expectations. We would recommend Sky House to anyone.
Skyhouse has been the best community I have ever lived in! The staff is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They check in often about what their residents would like to see in the building whether it be amenities or special events. Vivien and Sydney are two people I talk to in the front office regularly and they are always so cheerful and ready to help however they can! I think the community that has been built in the building is one of its biggest draws outside of the obvious that the building itself is gorgeous and the sky views being amazing. It is so nice to live somewhere where fun events take place and you can interact with others that live in the building through a portal. You can also place items for sale on there if you wish which is the fastest way to get rid of things you dont need if someone right in your building has a use for it! The security is fantastic, I feel so safe living here and the security staff always welcomes you home, you can tell they love working at Skyhouse! They keep your packages safe and assist with any parking matters and letting your friends and family in to see you. The maintenance team is quick to respond and fix anything you need. They are often around the building with a friendly vibe. I had a great experience moving in peak pandemic and knew it would be a happy place to live during difficult times. I won a giveaway they did for a virtual cooking class and they delivered food and a local chef from a downtown Raleigh restaurant taught us via Zoom, so fun! Even if you live in an apartment/studio alone, you dont feel alone! Come join us at Skyhouse, youll love it! :)
Location-wise, possibly the best option for young working professionals in Raleigh. Great apartments with fantastic views and modern appliances. The best part though is the crew that works here. From the leasing office to the maintenenace crews, theyre only a call away. Shoutout to the excellent concierges and special mention for Robert Ocasio who always has a solution for any problem you may have.
It was an awesome experience of staying Skyhouse Raleigh for 2.6 years.Nice place to stay in Raleigh downtown.
Loved living here. Responsive staff and the amenities and location are great.
DISCLAIMER!!!! I did not personally live in these apartments however I was planning to choose sky house for my next apartment complex. However, that WILL NOT be the case anymore. I have a friend who lives in the building who was told she cannot keep her dog basically because of his breed (pit bull). This beyond infuriates me because people are SO misinformed about pits. I have work with animals before and still do professionally and The generalization around this breed is false. It is really upsetting that living in an area that is Progressive and diverse there are still breed restrictions. I Think it is necessary that people become informed of the actual temperament of the breed instead of reading stories about dogs that have become aggressive to the other factors. It is extremely disappointing.
Perfect location. Awesome amenities. Breath-taking views. Most importantly, good people. The staff are professional, friendly, attentive, and prompt. Paula and the leasing team were nice and easy to work with. Brandon and the 24 hr concierge team always greet you with a warm smile/hello and are willing to assist. Benny and the maintenance team keep the building clean And looking great. This is a wonderful place to live!
Been here for two months now and I love it..I’m from nyc and the value for the price here is fantastic. Even with a studio, I feel like I have enough space and I was so happy to see spacious bathrooms and a tub/shower combo 😍 Sydney has been patient with me when I needed to move my lease date a few times and always available to answer questions. The lobby is always clean and smells so good! I also notice maintenance is very professional and prompt. I really do like it here
The concierges are really on it. Always very kind and ready to answer all questions. You can tell they love what they do.
Lot of homelessness due to covid i believe in the area and many shops not fully open bringing down the appeal of the downtown. However, skyhouse in itself maintains its appeal. Staff is great. rooftop area is great and very well maintained.
I came into town three days ago and was looking to get an apartment as soon as possible. I signed my lease today and didn’t have to extend me Airbnb stay. I have say, I am truly impressed with the leasing office here. Specifically, Sydney’s effort in making sure that everything was taken care of extremely quickly! She is very good at her job and it shows. Thank you for a great leasing experience!
I cannot rave about SkyHouse enough! I wanted to live here 4 years before moving in, and it has lived up to my expectations 100%. The whole team is extremely kind and willing to help, the amenities are wonderful and well-maintained, and the apartment views are spectacular (especially at sunrise and sunset.) So happy to call SkyHouse home!
I really enjoy the views of Raleigh while living within SkyHouse, the morning sunrise and evening sunsets are incredible. My decision to live here has been a good one! The personnel/staff members are always friendly, helpful and awesome! Thank you Sydney for providing a seamless move in experience!
Skyhouse has hands down the best pool in Raleigh. You cant beat the views and the super friendly staff. 24 hour front desk, very clean and well maintained. With happy hour, pizza party and many other events, you are sure to have a great time here.
Skyhouse is one of the best places to live downtown. You cant beat the views or the incredible staff. ...the happy hours and food trucks dont hurt either. Sydney in the leasing office was so helpful and accommodating with my move and made everything so easy. I wont be leaving anytime soon.
SkyHouse is the best place to call your house in downtown. By far a top notch experience. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. If you have a problem dont even sweat it. The maintenance crews got you. Moving into the SkyHouse is a Raleigh great idea.
Living at Skyhouse Raleigh has been a good experience. The staff is always friendly. We have a two bedroom, high floor apartment that has been comfortable as a temporary house for my family of 4. The pool view is great, the sky deck is a major plus and the gym too.
I am a self-proclaimed spiritualist from Las Vegas Nevada so the breathtaking scenery was what captured my attention. In addition the SkyHouse is located downtown Raleigh, which give easy access to many of the major businesses and colleges. The maintenance crew supervisor is a wonderful Guru. They will come and change your lightbulbs and refrigerator filter to.Brandon at the front desk always greets with a pleasant how are you? There is a spiritual blessing when living under a Blue Roof. The vibe of caring and sharing is the proof!
Skyhouse is amazing! I have nothing to say but great things about all the maintenance, management, and security/concierge staff - everyone is very friendly and professional. There are regular events and the community here is awesome. I would definitely recommend Skyhouse!
From the initial inquiry to now being leased and moved in I have had an awesome experience with Skyhouse!! The staff is so friendly and very helpful and Ive felt welcomed ever since I first reached out to tour. The building/facilities are super nice, clean and they abide by all COVID regulations while still making everything feel normal which is great. Apartment was so clean and nice when I moved in and they even left a little welcome package which was so thoughtful! Im so excited to live here!
Ive lived at SkyHouse for a little over a year and have had truly wonderful experiences here. The staff is fantastic, always helpful and friendly, there is a 24 hour concierge, and security is top notch. During the pandemic, theyve gone way above and beyond to ensure the safety of their residents to the best of their ability, far greater efforts than any other community Ive heard of - even installing hand sanitizing stations in the elevators and common areas! The staff also has weekly events and activities for us - from food trucks, discounts at local restaurants, free drinks at local coffee shops to hosting community events on our rooftop for residents. They also display and sell art by local artists! I could not more enthusiastically recommend SkyHouse!
Love this place.
Its been great living here with some wonderful people here, and so much welcome Sarah back to this lovely nest. She is such a nice and helpful person with a great personality and smile. Youll love her!
I have lived at Skyhouse Raleigh since July this year. Before even moving down, property managers Rabella and Vivien were incredibly accommodating with my unique situation, needing a furnished unit and a shorter lease. The location couldnt be better in downtown Raleigh. Food, parks and other amenities are all within walking distance. The unit itself is fantastic, especially the kitchen design. Tony and Robert at the front desk have both been so nice and helpful the last few months. I have to single out Brandon Snuggs, who started around the same time that I moved in, but you wouldnt know it given how much he goes out of his way to assist with anything you need. Just as a random example, he offered to fix my record player (and did) among many other things. The building also has a beautiful view from the rooftop which includes a pool and plenty of lounge seating and a grill. Fair warning, there are a lot of younger people in the apartment complex, which doesnt bother me at all. But its best to know ahead of time if thats not an ideal fit.
Amazing staff!! Anything you need they are happy to help out, and are never going to give you an attitude.
Moving in was great! The staff was very helpful & hospitable 👍🏿 Skyhouse Raleigh has been great!
I’m not sure if there was any discrimination towards my ethnicity. I called the leasing office multiple times regarding a one bedroom apartment. I asked to look at the apartment. I was told that a leasing agent would send an email with the video of the apartment. I never received the email. The apartment has now already been leased.
I’ve been a resident for almost a year now. The new management is great and puts together thoughtful events for the residents (yoga, food trucks, wine nights). The pool is unreal and location can’t be beat!
When deciding to move to Raleigh over three years ago, Skyhouse was the first property I looked at and the last. In between I wasted time touring over 20 other property brands and none of them were as dazzling as Skyhouse - there is simply nothing like it in the area. I really love living in Skyhouse because the amenities are so cool and the entire building staff is just amazing. From the office folks to the custodians, front desk and maintenance staff - everyone makes this feel like home. Its always clean - always and the neighbors are friendly. Its quiet and cozy, yet there is always something happening. If you want a completely unique downtown living experience, Skyhouse is absolutely the place for you. Come on up, you deserve it.
Whenever asked what my dream home would be, “a suite in a 5 star hotel.” Simply put I have always wanted to live in a 5 star hotel whether it’s the Ritz Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, The Plaza, Mandarin Oriental or Umstead. The dream has not just manifested here at Skyhouse but surpassed expectations.Amenities are out of this world, the Skydeck with grills, firepit, stunning views, top notch gym, yoga room, complimentary Starbucks coffee, and the heated pool (open all year) just amazing, a rubbish chute on each floor and gated parking with security. Phenomenal, a perfect place to be - having everything you need under one roof. Protocol re: social distancing and thorough disinfecting of the elevators, gym equipment and public areas has been observed throughout the day since I moved in a month ago.Corporate upper management, Paula from leasing office, security, concierge and maintenance/facilities (Benny and Josh) have all be genuinely - sincerely accommodating, professional and take pride in their establishment and work, so refreshing and inspiring. Really glad I landed here and looking forward to staying quite a while and getting to know the residents.
Now Ive lived at Skyhouse for two months and I am so happy with my choice. The apartment and common areas cant be replicated in Raleigh. The views are unbeatable, the access from the garage feels very safe and the amenities are state-of-the-art. The management, leasing and security teams are all very friendly and service oriented. Went to a Wine Wednesday event this week in the lounge and expect more fun events to come.
Loving it! Love my aptmt. Shout out to Paula, Sydney for a seamless experience with my move in. Concierge service were great too. Loving the city!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Cant beat the location with close by restaurants/bars/markets. Big thanks to Wesley for taking the time out of his busy schedule and showing me a great deal on my new apt!
Came in for a walk in tour and Laura was great. I let her know that I was short on time and only wanted a fast in and out tour. She was able to show me two beautiful 3 bedroom units as well as hit all the high points needed for a tour. The rooftop areas are STUNNING!
The lease management teams are not friendly and nice. The maintenance teams never come to fix the problems!!! I wouldn’t recommend to anybody living the place.
Ive lived here for almost 3 years and it has been a fantastic experience. Id like to specifically highlight how well the management group has done with the Covid-19 crisis. I will miss everything and everyone here. If you want to experience the best of living in downtown Raleigh, reach out to Paula Fraschetti and the Skyhouse team.
I’ve been living in Skyhouse Raleigh since 2018, and this high rise apartment is what I call home. The view from watching down downtown Raleigh on 22rd floor is majestic. Waking up everyday with sunrise brightening my day and watching the sunset with a red skyline in front of me are divine. In the building, the cleaning team makes sure everywhere is clean and shine. The concierge, security, and management people are absolutely the best, and they make sure all the residents are taking care of with the highest standard possible. They devote as much as possible to this stunning homes of all the lucky people living here. I sincerely appreciate all the service, care, warm they put in Skyhouse Raleigh. Thank you so much for your kindness, caring, and welcoming Shelby, Paula, Tyler, Sarah and other professionals. If this is too good to be true, just come and check it out yourself.
The front staff is the best!
My wife and I are in our 50s. We have lived here for 2 months now and we really enjoy the place. Amenities are top rate. Proximity to restaurants and bars is very convenient. Daniel was really great during our rental and move in process. We also have a dog and have found the location to be dog friendly.
Just moved in but so far it has been a great experience. The staff, especially Daniel and Robert, have been friendly and accommodating. The amenities are hard to beat and the floor to ceiling windows in the unit really open the place up offering some of the best views in Raleigh.
Ive been here in an A3 unit since July. I love it! Cant beat the amenities and people are friendly.
Have been here for three weeks, everyone that lives here is very friendly. I truly think thats the most redeeming part of living here. The door man/women are fantastic. Daniel has been very good about addressing concerns I had at move in. I would highly recommend living here. The social scene of the building is second to none in the city of Raleigh.
Such a great place to live! Perfect downtown location within walking distance of everything. Lots of natural light with the huge floor to ceiling windows. Great amenities, friendly staff, whats not to love?
The team at SkyHouse Raleigh is wonderful to work with. Thank you Vivien!
This place is great! Staff is always helpful, hard to beat views, and most of downtowns best restaurants are within a block or two.
Best place to live downtown period. Factoring in the price with the amenitys that are provided I was unable to find anywhere else that I was interested in. Great for younger adults, plenty of friendly people around here to meet. Noise really isnt too much of a problem coming from surrounding rooms. I live on the 2nd floor so I do get a bit off the street but it is easily suppressed by a white noise generate. If you have your eye on this place go ahead and make the jump.
Moving in was great. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming and Im honestly not sure how it couldve gone better. I dealt with Sarah and she got me through every step of the way.
Sydney and Tyler were excellent during the pre-move process, they were very helpful and they made the move pretty seamless.I love Skyhouse so far.
Beautiful apartments in a great location in the center of Raleigh. So many great places just a quick walk away from the hotel. Almost every apartment has a wonderful view. The lobby staff are very polite and helpful.
My boyfriend lived here. The location is good, but the ability to actually get into the building as a guest has gotten out of control. I literally have had to sit in the lobby for 45 minutes because they wouldnt let me in the building without the person I was visiting. I also routinely got trapped in the deck (they allow guests to park there which is great). I was told that either the person who lived there had to come let me out or I had to pay $12 to get out. Craziness. Again, nice being downtown, but there are other places with better management that you could choose.
Wow these guys are amazing. I was sooo last minute and they still was able to accommodate my order. They work fast and the quality is one of the best in Durham. Definitely recommend everyone to try them out. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Amazing place to live! Best pool in Raleigh and best location 👏🏼
Just moved in but love it so far. Management was exceptional from application through move-in. Location and amenities are second to none.
Our experience living at Skyhouse has been wonderful because of Sarah aka Skyhouse Mother! She works tirelessly to keep residents safe, goes above and beyond to assist, and was extremely helpful in orientating us to downtown Raleigh when we made our move from DC. She is an asset to the Skyhouse team!
I lived here for 15 months and it was a waste. Elevator was constantly broken, missed a work flight because of it once as you couldnt use the stairs to go up to your floor. Staff was nice but there are better alternatives in downtown Raleigh now. Unfortunately when I leased the Hue and Skyhouse were the only ones. Take honest advice, live somewhere else.
SkyHouse is trully a unique and amazing place to live. They cater to their residents with top notch service. If youre looking for a one of a kind place in Raleigh with wonderful amenities, this is your spot!
SkyHouse Raleigh is a beautiful apartment complex with some of the friendliest and most helpful staff Ive seen.Pros:I cant understate how wonderful and helpful the frontdesk staff are. Every time I need something they are the friendliest and most helpful bunch of people I know. The amenities are wonderful. Sitting and reading or working on the rooftop by the firepit is something I enjoy most. Everything is very well maintained and cleaned. Nothing is left out of order.Cons:My rent has increased rather significantly since I first moved in (RAM offered lower rates to fill the building then spiked the rent the next year), Ive managed to keep it from increasing much more over the years.Noise levels and Raleigh are normally pretty tame, but during events and outdoor concerns the windows that offer those gorgeous views do little to dull out the noise. These arent extremely common, but something to be aware of.---Overall, Ive loved my stay here at SkyHouse and appreciate all the team has done for me, and hope I can keep calling this my home for more years to come.
Nice place, but leasing managers sucks. Called twice never called me back. So I just walked in (like I never called before) Daniel McCormick gave me a tour (nice views.. etc) then he said he will email me the floor plans.. never happened! How am I suppose to rent here...
Very clean, very safe place to live, very friendly personnel. Lots of free activities (yoga class, gym training, pool )
Sarah at the front desk is great!
We had an appointment to see these apartments at 4:00 pm today. When we arrived at 3:55, after rushing there by Uber so as not to be late, the security guard informed us that the leasing agent decided to leave early as she had plans this evening. She didnt even bother to call us to inform us that she wouldnt be there. When I remarked that her behavior was unprofessional, the guard got angry and told me to just take a brochure and leave. If this is how they treat prospective tenants, Id hate to see how they treat you after you sign a lease.STAY AWAY!!!
Changing my review. Building is still amazing. Things have changed some with the new management. While the regular leasing agents and security are amazing, the new management needs to focus on customer concerns more and not cutting costs. I have had management be very unapologetic to me on large mistakes like not alerting anyone when they were testing the fire alarm system and I ran down 20 flights with my dogs. Mistakes happen, but I think that taking ownership of mistakes is critical to customer service. Just acting like you care goes a long way, I don’t want to hear that other people are happy with you when I am upset about feeling like I was running from a fire. Just think for a second, we have had a fire before in June and while no one was hurt, how would you feel hearing an alarm? Take a moment to not be defensive and accept that it was a mistake. Don’t act like I have to put up with it, because I live here. Also I think the changes in quality of service and going with lower cost small consumables like doggy clean up bags is impactful. I get trying to make money, but take a step down on the quality don’t just go to the lowest quality. These small things add up.BUT Some of the changes have been good like adding some small things like providing dog treats and tea. AND Finally improving the upstairs wifi so the space is more usable! I would honestly do without that, if management would spend time thinking about how much it costs to send maintenance 3 times to fix the same thing and analyzing how this happened. The maintenance team is small and overworked so they need help.I am not leaving this revised review because of a vendetta. I honestly hope that this helps change and improve my home so if you’re out there, please give this some thought.::Initial review::Great place to live with awesome amenities in the middle of downtown. If you are looking for a simple lifestyle where everything can be delivered or taken care of for you, this is the best place to live!
Overall, this is a great place to live, and it was a good 1 year experience for me. I believe that this is the perfect place for certain people, and some people may not like it as much.Ill start by outlining some things that arent obvious on a tour on this place. First, if you are considering living on the first 8 floors, check to see if your apartment is facing the parking garage, or you may be surprised by your view. Im lucky to live on the 18th, but could understand if people could be surprised that they only have a view of the garage. Im not sure if the leasing office warns people about it, since I never looked at one of those apartments. Second, having to use a parking garage is a daily hassle, but its a part of living downtown in such a great location. It takes me an average of 8 minutes to call an elevator from the 18th floor, enter the garage and find my car, and navigate out of the garage. This is the equivalent of pulling out of a driveway for most people. However, certain people will find living in a great location outweighs the logistical challenges like the parking garage, and not living too close to full-size grocery stores. Having guests over can be a bit of a hassle too, since you either have to go down and meet them in the lobby or register them online, this is a new policy of about a week ago. This is something people should consider before signing here, whether or not dealing with this every day is worth it to them. The leasing office is great. They are super helpful and genuinely care about the residents. They are always available to listen, and they take concerns seriously. My downstairs neighbor was extremely sensitive (see Josh H. review below haha), and they took a reasonable approach towards resolving issues weve had. When the cops were called for playing music at a conversational volume at 4pm on a Saturday (yes, you read that correctly) they did not hold it against me. Neither did they hold it against me when there was a noise complaint for celebrating a FIFA goal, also not during quiet hours. I did get in quite a bit of trouble when I was loud at 3am once, but I quickly learned my lesson, and it hasnt happened again. Management hosts a lot of fun social events, where you can mingle with the other residentsLastly, and most importantly, is the view. Nothing beats looking out at downtown Raleigh from the glass wall / pane in my apartment every day. Seeing the sunset / sunrise from this place is an amazing daily experience. Also, having guests at the pool is a a lot of fun. Its a great place to hang out in the summer, although youre limited to 2 guests, which is probably a good thing in general to avoid overcrowding. Also, the location is as good as it gets. When I go out to the bars, almost every place I want to go is within 2-3 blocks. In the end, I decided to not to resign here. Although my lease was a good value, and they didnt raise the rates much (less than 5%), which I respect, I was looking to save a little more money. Also, I work in Cary and wanted to live a little closer to there. Overall, Id recommend SkyHouse, but Id want to make someone fully aware of the logistical challenges before recommending.
While anyone who has done a little research on Skyhouse may come across reviews that say This is a party location kind of like a frathouse, I can beg to differ for my experience at least. I moved into skyhouse for the locale/walking and to mostly just be left alone and be nice and high up. There was maybe ONE or TWO nights out of an entire year where noise bothered me. Otherwise, I couldnt hear anything, and no one bothered me or was rude to me. In fact, the staff is very professional, friendly, and on-point. The amenities and views are amazing.
Staff is amazing, cameron, daniel, aubrey, robert and all others are first class professionals.amenities are top rate. appliances are high quality - could barely hear the dishwasher, as opposed to 401 oberlin where it was noisy and had to be cleaned multiple times when i was there. washer and dryer in unit were the large front loading type.rooftop was awesome, views of the city outstanding.only downside was the city noise and lights. i was on the 6th floor, on the south side, so i did experience the city energy, but thats to be expected.no longer live there as i moved out of state, but entire experience was superior.
Wonderful views, amazing location, great interiors and a very friendly staff.
Moved in and nothing was hooked up properly. The washer leaked, bathroom sink leaked, hot water heater leaked, toilet leaked, water damage on 1/4 of the flooring, fiber line was bad, fridge water wasnt hooked up. Had to have maintenance in 13 days the first month and management sounded like this was normal. The floors were torn up for 9 weeks before they came back and left the place covered in saw dust. Very little communication and compensation for all this from management. Super pumped when I moved in but didnt know what I was getting into.Update: my experience here has only gotten worse. Also, just saw the response by management to this review from December. Not sure why they would do that instead of calling, emailing or knocking on my door to try and make things better.
Welcome to contemporary Hotel California
Love how welcoming everyone is! Robert and Justin at the front desk are great guys, always nice to come home to.
