I’ve been living here for almost 3 years with my 2 pupsand we love this complex. The leasing office staff and maintenance crew are always helpful, understanding and polite. They are very well maintained and the location couldn’t be better. There is direct access to paths leading to Lake Raleigh, disc golf course and other open green areas.

Great community and easy access to most of Raleigh. The staff is very polite and friendly. Maintenance handles issues within a day of requesting them. Would give 5 stars if there was a system to let your guest in without you physically walking to the front door and letting them in due to the current access control system.

We landed at the Greens after selling our house in N. Raleigh. At the time, we wanted to be close to DT and look around at our options. Because of the pandemic weve ended up staying longer than planned, but the trails, the pool, dog park and proximity cant be beat. Staff is also great.

Im writing this review as I sit in my apartment at 1030 am as the fire alarm has been going off for over thirty minutes. I called the staff (who were very friendly) and was informed this is how they test a buildings fire alarm. By turning all of them on, and checking room by room. (There are a multitude of ways to test, and rest assured having the whole building blaring for nearly an hour is not it.)Moreover, the power went out in our building less than a week ago when someone flipped the wrong breaker. Its bittersweet because theyre very polite, and prompt, but its always something these days.

I absolutely loved my time living at The Greens. I moved in right when the complex opened in March 2014 and moved out in March 2019. During my five years there, I never had any problems with any of the staff or any major problems with my apartment or the facilities. The apartments are impeccably kept. When you have a maintenance issue, you submit an online request through the resident portal and someone quickly repairs it. I never had any issue in my apartment last more than one day. Sometimes things can be a little loud in the apartment, but no more than any other complex I have lived in. I heard my neighbors above me, and my neighbor below me came up to let me know he heard me, too. Most residents are courteous about noise. I loved every person in the office. From signing my lease, to picking up too many Amazon packages, and to saying goodbye after five years, I always had pleasant visits with everyone in the office. Further, everyone was always helpful and had answers to all my many questions. There are fun resident events throughout the year, sometimes breakfast on the go or a Christmas present wrapping event. As for the common areas, the caves in each building are nice places with a lot of fun games and plenty of cooking spaces. There are reasonable quiet hours for the areas, so there isnt usually a noise problem. However, and this is my only con about the common area, is that my apartment balcony opened to the cave and sometimes the noise would echo up and I could hear it loudly in my apartment. Usually, it was the bean bag for the cornhole boards. About five times, residents would use these later than the set hours. However, The Greens was great about enforcing the rules in these areas and keeping things quiet and clean. As said by others in reviews, the parking can be a little tight in certain areas. When moving out, I thought The Greens was fair about any repair costs. They were very considerate of what was just normal wear and tear after five years and what I should have to pay for, and I did not feel overcharged. The location is great. I went to school and worked downtown and had an easy commute. It is close to 40, downtown, and Western Boulevard (which you can take to 440). While being close to everything, there is still little traffic and tons of green space. It is a quick walk to the Farmers Market, Lake Raleigh, and Hunt Library at NC State. I cannot recommend this complex enough. It is my favorite place Ive ever lived and a great place to call home while in Raleigh.

You want to live here! I had a great experience at The Greens. The leasing staff was professional, helpful and prepared. Amenities were great, the buildings and grounds were immaculate, it was quiet, the apartment itself was very nice, and maintenance requests were handled next day. I was easily able to get a garage when I needed one by just dropping by the leasing office, and when I had to move out the process was quick and easy. Thanks to the greens staff for making my 18 month stay there amazing!

We lived here for 6 months with our dog and toddler while we settled into Raleigh and found/bought a house. We really enjoyed our time here!THE GOOD: The apartments are very nice and well kept. A few times something would be wrong and someone would be out to fix it within minutes of my putting in a request. The pool is really nice, especially during the day when it is nearly always empty. Free (good quality) coffee, tea and snacks in the office. No stray dog poo to be found anywhere on the grounds because they will fine you if you dont pick it up. All of the employees are friendly and easy to work with. This is a great part of town to live in- very close to everything. We walked to Lake Raleigh a LOT this summer to play and exercise and the State Farmers Market is 2 minutes away. I always felt safe there- buildings are well secured and there are several NCSU police who live on site. Insulation between apartments seemed pretty good to us- we hardly ever heard a peep from any of our neighbors.THINGS TO KNOW: if you have pets is that they will pull up the carpet when you move out to inspect for stains so if your pet has any accidents, you will end up paying to re-carpet the apartment. They are upfront about this policy in the leasing process.ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Just a few minor things- parking can get really tight in certain areas. They are quick to tow non-residents which helps with the problem but you need to make sure you have a sticker on your car or you may get towed. Also, there is not enough room for recyclables in their dumpsters. Its great that so many people there recycle heavily but I did end up having to throw out recyclables once because there was just no room. That made me pretty sad. The addition of a small play area for kids would be nice. There are not a ton of kids but there are several. One swing set would go a long way.Overall, a great experience and we would recommend this place to anyone. Part of me still regrets buying a house because Id rather just stay at the Greens and have someone else handle maintenance and repairs for me.

You cant go wrong with this location! Lake Raleigh, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Farmers Market and running trails right outside my apartment yet I can be downtown in a matter of minutes. Love the non-student rule and the cleanliness of the grounds is much appreciated. The best thing... the staff goes above and beyond any place Ive ever lived, they truly make you feel valued. I definitely plan to call The Greens my home for the foreseeable future.

I had been living in the Raleigh/Cary area for 6 years and The Greens is so faraway the best. It is not only because the staff is super nice. I was living in an apartment complex where the staff was super nice but you have to wait for 3 weeks to get the attention of the maintenance. Here at the Greens everything flows so smoothly. The staff, all of it, with no exception, is extremely professional and they will do even more than they are supposed to, just to make sure you are living in perfect conditions. I remember we had a problem in the dryer. Not only they came to fix it the next day, but they offered us to use a dryer in another apartment that had no occupants. Another advantage of living here, is the proximity to I40, the farmers market, and a beautiful lake surrounded by a trail. The area is extremely safe and patrolled by NCSU campus police (great people by the way). The apartments are new, the neighbors are very nice and respectful, the location is amazing, and above all, the staff is outstanding. This is really the place to be.

Living at The Greens has been a great experience. My wife and I opted to live here sight unseen as a quick move from out of state was looming. We do not regret this decision at all. Every member of the staff is always friendly, courteous, and goes out of their way to make living here a pleasure. The amenities (coffee, gym, pool, grills, fire pit, TVs, etc) are always in good working order and I have never had an issue. The proximity to downtown ($5 uber or easy bike ride), the farmers market, green ways, I-40, Cary, etc make this apartment complex in my opinion one of the overall best in Raleigh. I have lived in various apartments around the country over the last 10 years and this has been by far the best experience I have had living in an apartment. I would happily live here again, but I am buying a house in the area and have to move on.

We just moved out of The Greens into our own house; I am so glad we picked this location for our first year in Raleigh! The staff is caring and very responsive to maintenance requests, of which there were fortunately few, and if you dont mind being a little isolated from town its a great value compared to downtown and Cameron Village locations. (And you get amazing greenway access in return.)Id recommend an exterior-facing apartment if they are available. Cell service is pretty flaky in the buildings exterior, and the apartments mailing list would occasionally get (politely-worded) noise reminders from the staff - I assume the noise was in the courtyard, because we never knew what was going on.

Completely unprofessional staff. Would not recommend that anyone work with them. Was promised an apartment in writing with a specific date when I would travel to town to sign lease. When I arrived I was informed they had already leased it. Got a lame so sorry. Katelyn B. should be fired.

Very professional and nice staff. They held an apartment for me when I moved in past. Previous one star rating likely did not follow up on their part of contract and is pissed off over something that is likely their mistake.

When we moved out, they claimed that we caused pitting stains UNDER the glass cook-top because of excessive cooking (?) and items were left on it. There was no scratches, cracks on the surface, and all 4 burners still worked. They charged us to replace a used cook-top with a new one. This seems like a manufactures defects, but since GE refused to fix it, they turned it on tenants. This issue happens in some other apartment as well, so were not the only one with excessive cooking, I guess. If you do not plan on cooking, or dont mind being charged to fix someones else problem, then this is the place. Otherwise, there are better places out there.
