We moved to Clarion 2 months ago from Virginia Beach. I really enjoy the neighborhood. Its quiet, has lots of trees and is great for walking my dogs. The dog park is huge (and clean). Its close to Cary & Raleigh plus Lake Johnson is in walking distance. Happy we found a nice place to live!

The staff is warm, inviting, and extremely helpful. Every matter I have brought forth has been attended to in a timely manner and exceeds expectations. They are very easy to get in contact with. I love the atmosphere of the area and actually have found many families to connect with! I love it here with my daughters!

Clarion Crossing is one of the worst apartment complexes Ive ever lived in. I am completely disgusted with my apartment and I would not recommend living here. When I moved in my closet rack was broken, my tub had peeling paint and rust inside of it, my air conditioning unit had mold inside of it, and the bathroom was damp and smelled moldy. I havent even lived here for a month and I want to move. Ive found numerous roaches both inside and directly outside of my apartment, even after being treated by Terminix. Please stay away from this place. Go live elsewhere

Clarion Crossing is a welcome relief from absentee landlords. I have rented from them for near two years now. When something goes awry in the apartment their staff respond in a quick and professional manor. When a amenity breaks, there is no bickering, they inspect it identify the issue, order parts promptly, and fix the amenity as soon as the parts arrive.

By far one of the WORST complexes I have ever lived in. My heat and electricity are both not working and I was told by the energy company that it was a breaker issue for the apartment community to deal with. Possibly an easy fix, right? Of course not, I have been without heat and partial power loss for over 16 hours and was told I wouldn’t have a real solution “if there is one” (their words not mine) until POSSIBLY Tuesday.

I’ve been living here for a few months now and it’s a great location, close but not to close to downtown, great food only minuets away. Outstanding maintenance support, especially during these times of crisis. Friendly tenants, and awesome office support!

This complex is a good beginner home for college students or young couples trying to get on their feet. However, you should be aware that you might be paying $1000 a month for a roach-infested apartment that you will have to deal with independently. Chances are you will be showering in a tub full of rust and paint that’s peeling, but if that’s the lifestyle you’re willing to live with, then this is the place for you. I wish that the amenities could be a little bit better. I would love to go to the pool in the summer, but the mosquitoes are bad at this complex; the gym is friendly, but they don’t have a lot of equipment to choose from, and the dog park is significant for its size. Still, residents do not clean up after their dogs, and every time I bring my dogs, they end up getting sick. This complex is near Oakwood dog park, so that’s a plus within Lake Johnsons walking distance. The only reason I will be leaving Clarion Crossing is to upgrade to a rental house.

This property is great! The residents are really friendly, and the staff lives up to all of our expectations! Definitely would recommend someone to live here.

While I was here, the office was pretty responsive, and their maintenance team skilled and efficient (that part I give 5 stars). However, that being said, I do think Clarion Crossing Apartments needs some serious work in the communication department. I and my roommates found out a few months after moving out from a debt collector that we owed them money. We never received any communication from them about any fees owed (they claimed they only send letters and not emails, and that they only had our address of the apartment on file (this isnt true since we had a guarantor who lived in Cary). While I understand that sometimes damages do occur, there is also the fact that we had reached out to them prior to moving out regarding carpet issues (we did mess them up slightly, as does happen at times, but the carpet itself was certainly on the older side), however, we had come to the understanding that the charge would only be $200. When we heard from the debt collector, we found out they were charging us $800 for the carpet alone and that we had less than 2 months to pay them before our credit scores would be negatively affected.In short, another greedy corporate apartment complex that is more than eager to make you pay for their updates. If you do take the risk of renting here, make sure you document EVERY interaction with them and take as many pictures of the apartment at move-in and move-out, because they will try to screw you over.(Note: I understand that the individuals in the on-site office most likely are just following orders from corporate, so I dont blame them since theyre just doing their jobs).

I will be moving into Clarion Crossings community next month and I am so excited. The leasing process was easy and Elizabeth was Quick to help me virtually since COVID has made moving difficult. Cant wait to be in the Raleigh area!

I cant say enough good things about the Property Manager, Katie, and her staff. They are caring and passionate about what they do. If you want to feel appreciated where you live, Clarion Crossing Apartments is the place for you!

Great spot for biking, lake Johnson is a ten minute walk and my dog loves this area too. Close to downtown and my neighbors are nice.

Quaint and quiet apartment community. Devoted and hardworking staff. We were having trouble with our HVAC system and after a couple of emails and maintenance checkups, the PRG team replaced the entire unit. Katie Moore and Elizabeth Whitley are both awesome and make living here a pleasure.

Renting an apartment from Clarion Crossing has by far been the best decisions I made when I moved to NC. They provide extraordinary maintenance service despite any time of the day and the administration staff take tremendous effort and care in solving our issues. We lived at Clarion Crossing for 5 years while attending grad school at NC State. It was quiet and peaceful. Close to beautiful Lake Johnson. Office staff was helpful and responsive. Grounds well maintained. Maintenance was wonderful and responded immediately to every request. A good location for professionals or older students who want a quieter location close to campus.

I thoroughly enjoy Clarion Crossing! It has a nice gym, side walks for my dog and a ton of parking spots which is convenient! The staff is friendly and the maintenance team members are efficient The location is wonderful and close to all the fun places.

Ive lived here since November and seen a lot of work done by the Maintenance Staff. The grounds are kept looking sharp, improvements to the buildings are being done and they always answer requests for service. The staff is great at addressing issues regarding billing and problems with the units. Fast and friendly. The complex itself is generally quiet and within walking distance to shopping and Lake Johnson. Pet-friendly and lots of college students and families live here.

I have been living at Clarion Crossing for a little over 5 months and Ive really loved it! The maintenance and housing staff are very friendly and helpful. I had plenty of questions before and after moving in and they were more than happy to help. The property is also super close to downtown and NC States campus as well! The neighborhood is also a bit hidden so its nice and quiet. I would really recommend living here and already have to many of my friends!

If you enjoy living close to the Lake, in a peaceful tranquil setting, for a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Management has always been so kind and helpful. Clarion Crossings maintenance team has always been phenomenal, fixing things correctly the first time. I really enjoy the new renovations too, the appliances are big and spacious.

Clarion Crossings has been an awesome place to live at. The gym is always clean and they had a nice pool facility for the summer time. I also really like how convenient it is to use the tanning bed. The staff inside is also very friendly and very informative and helpful. I really like the town home that I rent. It is older, but looks very nice inside. The maintenance crew has always been very helpful and will get right out to fix any issues that arise. It was the middle of summer and our AC went out, and the maintenance crew got it going by the next day. Overall this has been one of the better apartment complexes that I have stayed at and I have had no issues with clarion crossing during my experience.

Clarion Crossing is a fantastic place to live for any NC State student or anyone in general. For me, the best parts of living here are the friendly administrative and groundskeeping staff, the short walk to the Wolfline or Food Lion, the pool, gym, and clean/safe environment. I only wish I had found out about it sooner, as it has been by far my favorite place to live in 4 years of college!

We have been living here since last 1 year (moved in June 2019). We live in one of the townhouses on Apple Blossom Ct. and this is the 3rd instance that items have been stolen from our front porch. Items ordered from Amazon, eBAY have been stolen from our front porch and my bike that had its wheels locked down was also stolen from the front porch. This is so unfortunate that I cant even order items at home! The apartment does have an office where I can place my order but that place is 10 mins away on foot. I would avoid this area because of theft issues.

This was a great place to live. The staff was very friendly and we never had any major issues. Much more fair and friendly than other places weve rented. The complex was very clean and always maintained well.

We have lived here for four months and have loved it! The staff are so helpful and kind. Any time weve had a maintenance issue they have been quick to resolve it and have always done a great job. We love using the work out center and the business center has been very useful as well. Definitely would recommend this place.

I actually lived here for a little while back in college and I loved it! It was a really quite neighborhood and I enjoyed being able to walk around that whole area. The staff was always friendly and I only needed maintenance help once and they came that same day. I would still be living there, if I didnt have to leave Raleigh!

We lived at Clarion in both a two bedroom one bath and a town house. We really enjoyed the tranquil wooded setting and the proximity to Lake Johnson. We very rarely had maintenance issues but when we did the were addressed quickly and professionally. We only left to purchase our first home, otherwise we would have gladly stayed!

My husband and I started renting at Clarion Crossing in June, and we love it! This is our first (non-campus!) apartment, and we were nervous about asking the right questions and picking the right place. Clarion has been wonderful every step of the way. The staff is so open and helpful, and genuinely sought to make our move as smooth as possible. Since living here (in the newly updated apartments!), weve been constantly impressed by the continuing kindness and competency of the office staff and the maintenance guys. Not only do they all know what theyre doing, they seem honestly happy to help you! The complex is in a great location (State is a bike ride away, Food Lions a ten-minute walk, and even closer are a park and a 24-hour gas station!), and the staff and apartments themselves are great. Highly recommend!

The maintenance and the front desk are always extremely responsive, and during Hurricane Matthew, they did an incredible job keeping all of the residents in the loop with updates. Super close to Lake Johnson, plenty of stores & restaurants, and central to anything you could look for. Highly, highly recommend this property!

Have been living in this neighborhood for a year and half. One of the nice things about it is its tranquil environment that is far away from the noisy traffic roads and close to Lake Johnson. Maintenance crew usually respond quickly to requests, and the management team is friendly and helpful in terms of keeping residents informed. One thing they could improve is to provide pest control regularly as the property is surrounded by trees and bugs are prevailing in the summer. Over all it is a decent place to live if you work or study in Raleigh and nearby area.

My girlfriend and I were moving to Raleigh to start school at NC State and we looked at these apartments first because we loved their photos on the website. The apartments look just how theyre advertised which is not always the case but it is here. The staff was really helpful from day one, always emailing and calling back right away. We toured the apartments and loved them and signed the lease a few weeks later. Since weve moved in we havent had anything but good experiences with the staff and maintenance crew. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The apartments are well maintained and the people are nice too. Its right by two bus stops and by the greenway. Its a great location for anyone who goes to state or works around the area. We plan to stay here for as long as we are in school. Highly recommended apartments, probably the best ones in Raleigh.

I have only been a resident for a few months, but this has been a great place to live as a college student. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to a Food Lion and several bus routes, and still very quiet. Overall, the management and maintenance crew have all been extremely helpful and considerate, especially with the complications of the recent hurricane. Would definitely recommend as a practical and pleasant place to live.

I have been living there for 4 months in their studio model and I have found it to be a great place to live. The housing units themselves are quite nice for their price and feel new and cosy. The unit came had carpeting and stainless steel appliances as well as a large walk in closet and a storage closet on the porch. The gym for the complex leaves a bit to be desired but is still a good place to go run or lift some weights. The pool is nice and there are a good amount of pool chairs so you can almost always find a spot there. Unlike many complexes there is an on site maintenance staff which are fast, friendly, and helpful, and the landscaping of the facility is wonderful. Finally, there is a small pet park in the community in case you have a dog or cat that youd like to take out (yes pets are allowed here). There is a shopping complex 0.2 miles away which is convenient in terms of walking distance. At this shopping complex there is also a bus stop for those who need to take the bus around the community. In the opposite direction 0.1 miles, there is a wonderful lake (Lake Johnson) which has a great and wide running/walking trail as well as nice scenic views surrounding it. For those interested, it is also 2 miles away form NC States Centennial campus making it a very short commute to and from school/work.

This apartment complex is not worth living in for the steep price of rent. My apartment was frequented by bugs of all sorts and the appliances didnt work well. This company is out to scrape as much money from their renters as possible with no explanation as to why. Dont expect to get your security deposit back. The only reason this complex has a decent rating on Google is because they emailed all of us telling us we could get $10 off that months rent if we left a 5 star review. I would recommend looking elsewhere for housing.

I moved into Clarion Crossing in February and have been very happy living here. The office staff and maintenance staff are always helpful and friendly, they are quick to respond to any issues that might come up. The new poolside furniture is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. The location is very convenient to both downtown Raleigh and the beltway with shopping, restaurants and entertainment very close by. I would definitely recommend Clarion Crossing Apts as a great place to stay.

Great location near shopping centers, eateries, and NC state campus. Friendly and reliable staff, and updated interiors make this a nice place to live. I enjoy the regular attention to the outside of the complex (landscaping and debris removal), as well as the convenience of the laundry rooms and workout room.

Im a new resident to Clarion Crossing and Im already in love with the complex. The staff has been incredibly friendly, and quick to respond to any requests. The grounds are lovely, and the neighborhood is quiet. Combined with a wonderful layout to the rooms, the convenient location, I have to say this is the best place Ive lived thus far.

Everything is within 5 minutes yet still somehow I never run into traffic around here. After Hurricane Matthew they were very quick to have a landscaping crew come in and clean the place up! I have been a resident for about 3 years-- I started in a studio apt (great for the price) and now reside in a 1 bedroom with a balcony. I love it. Its quiet here, and my neighbors are all very cool people. Management at Clarion Crossing has always been awesome and helpful and on the ball (when it comes to power outages due to ice, or what-have-you). I highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a nice place at a fair price.EDIT: I take back pretty much all of this. When I moved out they kept a large part of my deposit because I accidently left an oven glove and some utensils in a kitchen drawer. (They sent a picture of this offence if anyone cares to see it.) This, after a ceiling once fell onto my belongings because of upstairs water damage, and I never asked for anything after the damage caused to my personal belongings. It blows my mind how impersonal and unconcerned they were after living there and paying rent on time for years.

We have lived here since march and love it so far! Our townhome is the perfect size for us and is typically a very quiet place. The best part is the location- close distance to lake Johnson as well as NC state. I love our outdoor patio area which is very private unlike many other residences. Melissa was very helpful to us when we were looking to live here!

People keep in mind a lot of these good reviews were motivated by money off rent drawlings the office had if you left them a good review. This place sucks! The walls are paper thin! Every day I hear my neighbor taking a piss and having intercourse above my childs room! Rent is way too much for how crappy the apartment and service is. The office manager Katie M. is rude and very unhelpful. She is always combative when you bring her issues about your apartment like its not her job to take care of things. We had an issue with mold in our apartment. We even bought our own mold test to prove we had mold. Her response was that the test showed low signs of mold yet I suffers daily. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere!!

Ive lived here at Clarion Crossing for going on three years and it seems at first they are very helpful and nice. However, they supply you with cheap vertical blinds that if you breathe on them they break. I cannot help but put in a maintenance report for the blinds because it preserves my privacy from outsiders. However as much rent, me and my husband pay and not including the forced valet trash fee, they have now decided to implement a fee for replacing very cheap blinds. I find it is a way to nickle and dime and make a small profit off of tenants. This news astounds me but you get what you pay for. The office staff is nice and professional. The maintenance is somewhat nice some seem to be rude and disrespectful but I dont take it personal it is what it is. We are renewing but this might be our last year, because of the nickle and diming.

Very conveniently located, it is offset from the road and surrounded by trees. The pool is lovely in the summer and there is a nice little gym with very clean bathrooms. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful.

Great, quiet neighbor in walking distance of Lake Johnson and minutes from NCSU and downtown. Clean common areas, large pool, responsive and friendly staff, and top notch landscaping crew that always has the property free of leaves and pine straw. Rent is very reasonable for the location.My only complaint is the ridiculous trash fee. There is a dumpster literally 40ft from where I park. I can walk that far, I shouldnt have to pay $33 a month for a service which Ive yet to see anyone use.

The location of this place is great for someone associated with NC State University. There are a lot of trees and we love the presence of the wide variety of birds and of course the squirrels. The management if very responsive and maintenance issues are promptly worked upon. It is located within 5 minutes of walking from Food Lion where you can also board the Wolfline buses and the same place also has the DMV! Neighbors are quiet and friendly. We are living in the townhouses facing East-West and they have plenty of sunlight. I wish they had non-carpeted 1st floors atleast as it would have been easier to keep clean and easier. The kitchen design is a little less practical as the sink and the cooking range are right next to each other robbing of some much needed counter space on either side of the range. Also, the fridge door cannot open fully as it is right next to the wall, hence you cant even take out one of the vegetable trays. Staying close to nature (trees and stream) means there are some bugs which again would have helped with non-carpeted floor. But for the price and location (~1250$ for ~ 1200 sq. ft), I should not be complaining much! P.S. The leasing office personnel Kate is wonderful and she gave us a warm welcome and helped us with the application process.

Clarion Crossing is a great place to call home. Its tucked away into the woods a little but close to some shopping and restaurants and down the street from NC state. There are a few college students, but it never gets loud or crazy. Really close to lake Johnson too, a big perk for us. Good location for people who are walking/biking/taking the bus. Central to surrounding Raleigh areas and towns. Our townhome is the perfect size at a just right budget. Staff and maintenance are friendly and efficient.

Ive been living in Clarion Crossing in the Townhouse units since January of 2013. I very much like the location, it is convenient to both Cary and Downtown Raleigh, with many shops within walking and biking distance. If I have ever had a maintenance related issue, the Apartment Maintenance crew is always very prompt and quick to resolve any issues. I had my ac go out once, so they made sure that I had a backup unit that day while they ordered the new parts. It was great that they were so quick to help out and made sure to update me with the status of the new unit. The grounds include a gym with a tanning bed, an internet cafe where you can print and fax documents, and is always stocked with coffee! :D There is also a dog park on the property and several stations where you may dispose of pet waste. The grounds are upkept frequently with a landscaping crew so its nice that the grass always stays cut. Occasionally they will upgrade the buildings and always make sure to leave a note on the door and email me. The office crew is very friendly and always ready to help with any questions that I may have. Overall, until I buy a house someday, I can see myself living here for more time as I am quite happy with this complex and the convenience of the area!

My partner and I were looking for a place to live to attend school and this was the first place that we looked at and we loved it so much we put in our application and moved in! We fell in love immediately with the apartments and area. Its one of the few apartments that the pictures really look like the place! Due to the great weekly landscaping team they have. The on site maintence workers are so friendly and are always on time if something goes wrong. The application was easy to get through and the staff are super friendly with emailing you during the process and helping you with any questions you have. Anytime we have gone into the office to ask any kind of question the staff is always there and friendly and helpful. They send emails updating you if theres work going on or any changes to pass codes for the gym and pool and keep you up to date on any goings on. The staff is the best, the community is beautiful and friendly and its in a great area. I totally recommend living in clarion crossings apartment complex. Also, its conveniently near good lion and a public and wolfline bus stop!

Ive been living here for several months now and, for a college student, its been a great place to live so far. The front office and maintenance crews have always been extremely timely and helpful with any questions or requests that Ive had, the location is close to everything that I need access to, and aside from hurricanes everything stays pretty quiet.

I was just thinking today how happy I am that I no longer live here. If it wasn’t for the wiring arching in the walls, lights consistently flickering, bugs, rats and the facility towing my roommates car so they could trim a bush I would maybe live here again...Kidding I would never live here again or recommend it to anyone ever.Update: A few years later since I’ve lived here and I still refer to this place as the worst (trap house) apartment I have ever lived in. I still wouldn’t recommend living here to anyone. Seriously, look somewhere else.

Ive been here in the townhomes for about 7 months now, and I dont want to leave! Maintenance is so quick to fix any issue and the office staff are extremely helpful with any questions! Location is key here! I highly recommend this property!

When I first went in everything was nice and sweet after a few weeks they stop returning calls werent communicating with me and my soon to be roommate... I had to physically go in to figure out what the problem was and it was something on there in they should have told me. If you dont make 3 times the rent and your cosigner dont make 5 times the rent dont apply here... An other words of you dont make over 2,000 a month find a different apartment

Dont buy into the reviews on Clarion Crossing alone, PRG Real Estate is NOT Better Business Bureau accredited and are rated D-. That should tell you ALOT about the shady business you will deal with here. The Clarion Crossing staff are good but ultimately you are going to deal with PRG in the end. Being shook down for paying repairs that existed prior to move-in is unacceptable. Go somewhere else, trust me. Not worth it. Learn from my mistake.

The neighborhood isnt the worst in Raleigh, but I suppose my family drew the short straw with the location of our apartment. The neighbors are loud, and there is often litter in the courtyards/common areas that simply doesnt get picked up for weeks. There are stations for dog waste everywhere, but people do not seem to want to use them, as I find myself stepping in waste almost daily. Throw a rock, youre sure to hit a pile. Someone actually let their dog do their business directly next to my door this morning as well, and didnt clean it up. There also must be very little insulation in the walls, as we can hear every last bit of our neighbors activity day and night. The maintenance staff is fairly nice and accommodating, and Ive had no issues with the front office - however, the residents are the ones that make up a community, and this community is certainly lacking in basic consideration for one another. If I notice changes in these issues, I will certainly edit this review.

Clarion Crossing is a beautiful place to live. Its s great location- just a short drive to downtown Raleigh or to shopping in Cary. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

I havent started living in this apartment building yet but one of their staff members named Kate has been a pleasure to work with. Shes kind and answers every question I have and is with me every step of the way. I couldnt be happier
