My parents called Sun Cool after their unit shut down Labor Day weekend. A technician came to the house, said a part was needed. Apparently this part is not kept in stock and had to be ordered. Was told would take 3-7 days and would be expedited. Over 85 degree temp in house, SunCool offered no temp AC - parents are in their 80’s. It’s been 8 days, still no part!!!! You can imagine our family worrying about parents w/o AC. Sister, Brother flew down from NY to check on parents. This is bad business. Parents have had Sun Cool 20+ years and this is how they are treated for being loyal customers!!! No acceptable. Do not use this company . They do not care about their loyal customers. Pray my parents will get relief soon 🙏🏼

They respond quickly, very courteous servicemen and knowledgeable. I gotta hand it to those guys, they come out late in the evenings in the rain to solve your problems. I refer them to everybody that needs a good reliable A/C company.

I had a person (Salina) come out a week ago to estimate a system replacement. She was late, but called. Have not heard anything else. Guess they have enough business..... Update ...got a call and all my information sent to me....very understanding on both sides with what happened......Salina was on top of it.

I recently purchased a home and had issues with my A/C pulling an excessive amount of power causing my electric bill to be very high. The day I received my bill I called Sun Kool put in a claim and they were at my house fixing the issue in less than 2 hrs.From the technician who came out ( I wish I remembered his name he was amazing) to the communication via email with Kasey Kindle and by phone. We chose Sun Kool to install our new AC unit. They showed up when they said they would and installed it in about 6 hours. Works great! Only complaint is they never returned our calls about using them for their insulation services.

No show 3 days in a row! Ended up having to get a hotel room bc it was 86 degrees in the house. Very unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend them for anything. Another company ended up coming out.

This company installed the AC onto my new house, in one year the AC units capacitor died, usually meaning they used subpar components when they installed the unit. It is a 1 minute installation and 10 dollar part. And they charged my wife $212 to conduct a total of 5 minutes of work to replace the subpar component they installed 1 year ago. Horrible company.

Andrew was our service tech. He was very courteous and professional. He explained everything he did re: diagnostics and repair work. I’ll definitely use this company again.

After 11 years in our home, it was time for a new heating and AC unit. We purchased from them and had them remove and install the new one. Great people to work with. We use them for regular checks on the system since we have lived in our home. Great people and service.

Installed AC at my house today and left their mess. It Took me 30 minutes to clean up dust, nails, shards of wood, and pieces of rock both in the garage and driveway. I called them to notify them of the mess they left and they never called back after telling me they would.P.S. The owner of sun kool Ocala is also calling me a liar now. As stated in my message I cleaned up my driveway not them. He is trying to say they cleaned up my driveway, insane. Please don’t call customers liars in the future.

Had whole ac system done and old system out. The price was $400 more than other company, but their labor had 5 year warranty instead of 1 year. They replaced everything and old system out in 1 day. It was so professional and workers were great. I am so pleased. This is the best company I have ever dealt with. Have had several systems put in several houses and this was the best I have ever dealt with. They were on time and there when they said they would be. James Deluca was the person who came to give the estimate. He came also at the end of project.

Had a new air conditioner installed 2 years ago And it keeps breaking down They keep changing parts on a brand new System The other day they just came Put gas in it And the guy tells me if it keeps acting up call back the next day its not working again Im tired of calling them but this is annoying already Every 2 months I have to keep calling them for a brand new unit brand new unit I should not be having so many problems with a brand new System The guys are not trained properly They changed the blower Motor on twice Change the filter 3 times change the TXV valve 3 times Change the air Carpressor

Several times air would not shut off replaced thermostat 3xs them decided to get a newer thermostat but still did not fix issue still having issues

I definitely would not recommend SUN KOOL AIR CONDITIONING.. my Best friend mom bought a new AC unit 4 years ago. She has had a couple maintenance calls already due to it not cooling.. According to them she only has the parts only warranty so they charged her $99 just to show up and tell her whats wrong. Then another $95.40 for labor that took 5 minutes to change a capacitor that was under warranty.. when asked to do a cleaning or annual maintenance (that they recommend) since we had almost an hour remaining for the 95 bucks they wouldnt do it.. way to take advantage of your customers and a 75 year old on a fixed income.. 😡😡

Not to be trusted. Sun Kool came to my home and told me I needed a new system. 5k. Called Hilliard and they fixed for $200.00. AND I was a past client..

Not the best experience. Started with a misdiagnosis of a squeak in a working unit. Followed up by 3 technicians who arrived to replace the misdiagnosed part. They left the unit parts scattered on the garage floor and left to get the correct part and didn’t return for 3 days!! No AC. The tech who finally fixed the unit was top notch.

Sun Kool just installed a new AC system for me. The installation was quick and the staff was professional. New system works great and Sun Kool provides an excellent warranty. I have used them in the past for a repair on my old system and they have a fast response time no matter what time or day of week. Other AC contractors are hard to contact but Sun Kool has always responded when I needed them.

We love SunKool !!!!Our heat pump quit working the last cold snap, so we had no heat on a very chilly night. I called SunKool the next morning & James was here in less than 30 minutes! We have been customers for almost 20 years & hopefully for another 20 + years to come.

I recently had my HVAC system replaced by Sun Kool, and they did a stellar job. James came out to give me an estimate, and they came out two days later to install the system. George and Rey did an excellent job, and they were all super nice guys and very professional. I would definitely recommend Sun Kool to anyone needing a new system, or just any AC work done.

They came out on a Sunday and told me they couldn’t order the part because everything was closed. I never heard from them and called Tuesday and was told the part wasn’t in yet. I called Wednesday and they said it was supposed to be in but would be delivered today so I asked to set up an appointment for Thursday. I was told I can’t set up an appointment until it is at the building and they assured me they would call me Thursday. My husband called another company that said the part was local at Goodman less than 5 miles from SunKool and they fixed the air conditioner same day. This company shouldn’t exist And it took 14 days for them to call me to let me know they got the part in.

Our old A/C system failed from old age, so we had about 10 different qoutes from companies that were all over the board with absurd prices and unnecessary need tos they were insisting upon. We were impressed with the honesty of the rep from Sun Kool, price and the carrier brand.Its been about two months since they installed the new system and everything has been wonderful and flawless! They showed up on time and finished the job that day. The entire crew was Professional, polite, clean installation and over all great! I will always be a customer and highly recommend Sunkool! Recently we had an unusual refrigerant leak in our 5-year old A/C system, and Sun Kool was there during the entire time period. They kept the needed refrigerant filled daily until the replacement part arrived after expediting the delivery process. The professionalism, concern and care was top-notch, and I highly recommend this company for all your A/C needs, etc.

James called ahead and said he had a cancellation and asked if he could come early. I said absolutely and he got here exactly at the time promised. He checked my unit, gave me recommendations and cleaned it for me. What a joy to have such an efficient young man working for your company. He was completely finished with my service before my scheduled appointment time was to begin. I will highly recommend Sun Cool to all who need A/C work.

They are putting the AC in our house that is currently being built in Wildwood, Fl. Although the house is not finished, David was at the house putting the system in when we went to see how construction was coming along. He was awesome! The Sun Cool Rep came in my home to fix a Air Conditioning unit I bought a year ago, July 27, 2018. He told me the filter was dirty which is fine but I told him I change it every month. He told me there is no way thats only a month old. In other words he called me a liar! I change it every month when my house payments due! I guess the outside drain was plugged. My air unit is in the attic above the bathroom. He knocked down all kinds of dirt and just left it on the floor in the sink etc. I took pictures but no place to post them. He looked right at me and said tell him etc. I said tell me, I own this house, he is my roommate and rents from me! Not impressed! Units barely a year old and needs service and they were here a month ago and everything is fine.

Had a new unit installed, been an issue ever since. Serviced by them every six months since purchase. Several times after service is when all of a sudden we need repairs. Not minor 1500 to 2000 a pop. Then it takes them two or three days to get parts in. This time they are 3 hours late with no call. Go to Walmart and get a window unit before you deal with this company.

Quick service. Luis was able to diagnose my unit and come back same evening with the parts and fixed it so that my family had AC that night. Thank you.

Chris the Sun Kool Tech showed up on time and after introducing Himself immediately went to work evaluating, adjusting and cleaning my air conditioning system. He and I discussed several points on the recommended settings and use of my thermostat. He also showed me the air filter and advised me on its replacement at the next service call as it was in good condition but would need replacement by the next servicing. Chris was Professional friendly and knowledgeable in servicing my air conditioning unit and is a definite asset to Sun Kool.

The Sun Kool person arrived on time and did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and I think he went out of his way to explain everything his was doing while he was cleaning my system. Sun Kool has been my A/C venue since I built my house in 1987. I have never had a bad experience with them and will continue to use them. We called to request an appointment to have our furnace serviced and the filter changed. We also asked about wireless thermostats. We were told the serviceman would have the wireless thermostats with him. Our appointment was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Our serviceman arrived over an hour late. He did call and left a message that he was running late. When he arrived, he did not bring a nest wireless thermostat and he did not have furnace filters. Basically it was a waste of our time. Sun Kool was supposed to call the schedule a second appointment to bring a nest thermostat. They have not called. We also had problems with the new unit they installed. We have decided to do business elsewhere.

Technician Joseph Lopez arrived 15 minutes before the appointed time!Our inside unit is in the attic and extremely difficult to access and service. Technician Lopez went about his business promptly, professionally, and efficiently. He even removed his own shoes and placed booties on his feet, as a matter of courtesy. We are so very thankful that Sun Kool trains AND retains only the best. They sure prove it, time and time again.

Called Sun Kool Sunday morning due to A/C not working properly, Service Tech Greg P. returned my call within 15 minutes. Very polite and professional on the phone and stated a time he would be out to check our system. Greg arrived within an acceptable time of our scheduled time and proceeded to find and fix the problem with our A/C. Greg took the time to explain what the problem was and what needed to be done; very professional attitude. I would not hesitate to ask for Greg the next time we needed our A/C serviced or repaired.

The technician arrived on time and quickly began to perform the scheduled service. He was polite and professional and removed his shoes upon entering so as not soil our floors since it was raining at the time. Appreciated. When work was completed, he explained what was performed, I signed off and he left. Very business like yet friendly.

Came out last Sunday, fixed our AC and only charged us the basic service fee. When is the last time a company treated you this fairly? I would give them 10 stars if I could.

This company is amazing from the sales man that came to my home in the bringing to check out my unit that was on the Fritz to the team they sent to my home to install my new a.c. unit and air handler. Even when my drain pipe backed up a few weeks ago they came to my house so very quickly and cleaned it out and had my a.c. unit right back working within 10 minutes. I highly recomend this company rather your just getting your existing unit repaired or your considering getting a new unit. They even have a great financing company.

Technician was on time --- a little early ? Immediately began his service tasks. Felt no need to stand over him to double check his thoroughness. Advised us of issues he had determined and completed. Area left clean and tidy. Offered to put items that had to be moved for him to work, back in place. Explained billing procedures. Was very pleasant and was obviously getting satisfaction from a job well done.

Ive been with Sun Kool since 2010 and no complaints. My system is checked twice a year by the same great technician as part of my Kool Klub package. Ive had one part go bad within this time frame and it was attended to the same day I called. How cool is that!

A/C died at about 2:30pm, called Sun Kool who installed my original unit in 2003 and they still had the directions to my house that is tough to find. Im impressed already. They offered to come the same day between 6-9pm at regular rates. Then Greg calls and says he can come early if that would be ok? You bet! Greg was ultra polite, put coverings on his shoes when he entered the house, went about his business and had me cooled off by 4:45pm! Super happy. Refreshing to interact with a company that is organized, polite and delivers.

This is the greatest company. Friday my A/C went out I got home late to a very hot house. I made 2 phone calls the first company came out and told me he had bad news that my compressor was fried they said it would be between 3000 to 7500 depending on if I needed a whole new unit. That guy left then I get a call around 7:30 pm they said they wanted to know if the other company was able to solve my problem I told him what they told me. The guy said can I come take a look. I said sure even being so late Mr Morrison was able to get us up and running and needless to say I was very pleased he figured out it was not the compressor and he got the ac working then he signed me up for the kook club and for 89.00 we had a much better night thank you so much for your dedication to me and my family and the huge savingsDeanna FornofI will never call anyone else!

When our A/C broke last year in the middle of summer, Sun Kool was able to come out to our home and repair it within a day. We were so thankful which is why we chose them when it was time to replace and purchase a new unit. The transaction was smooth with their offered financing and the new unit has been amazing.

I joined the maintenance club, and this was my first appointment. Technician was professional and thorough, even offering a suggestion as to a filter that might help with dust. I have found a maintenance club such as Sun Kools is a good way to make sure you dont forget routine maintenance at the start of the cooling and heating seasons.

I do not recommend this company. Not happy with my experience with them. Wasted already too much of my time and money with getting nothing back, will not waste even a minute for writing details .

James was our technician and he was quick and thorough and answered my questions. He also did the minor repair on the filter drawer closure latch that I had requested. I would recommend Sun Kool to anyone looking for a new air conditioner or furnace.

Scam artists. I would not give even one star, if google allowed. I called this company, and they said they would come out to diagnose the problem for $89 and give me an estimate to fix. Instead they came out, took less than 5 minutes, to tell me they thought I had a leak, but it would cost another $90 to do a leak test. Then they said, it was not worth searching for the leak, because even when found, it would cost $1300 to $1800 to fix. They also told me it would cost over $500 just to charge the AC to keep it cool short term. They did, however, offer to send someone to give me a free quote on new AC. This they did - for $5200-$5500 they would install new unit. After that, I called Artic Air, whom I highly recommend. They came out on a Saturday, diagnosed the problem, charged the unit, and fixed the AC, all for $400. You do the math.
