From start to finish my visit was exceptional. As a last-minute call tot he office for a broken tooth my appointment was scheduled in one day. Insurance was processed before the appointment and once I arrived the forms were easy to complete. My wait was short and the customer service was so great. The detail assistant explained all the steps very simply and the dentist came in and explained once again. I was anxious and stressed about the possible procedure and they were understanding and compassionate. I am so happy with this visit and would recommend this Dental office to all.

I’m new to the area and have high anxiety when going to new dentists. I went for a dental emergency (walk-in) and I immediately felt welcomed by Ms.Carmen!! I went back a few days later for a root canal and couldn’t wait to be around her warming presence! The dentist is amazing- smoothest root canal I ever had, and his assistant (I think her name is Emily) was perfect! She didn’t make me feel bad about my teeth and kept me in high spirits. The WORST experience ever. The we’re trying to con me out of $900 for NO reason. I got a second opinion and they said I don’t need any of that work done SunWest said I should get done. I will NEVER come back to this company and I will never recommend them to anyone. It’s disgusting how cooperate dentals try to make you pay more and more money for no reason. Plus the office was trashy and the dentist was not friendly whatsoever.

Because of her warning me about a possible chance to have complications with a root canal, as well, to Kellys expert Assistance with Dr Skylers magic, it was a successful repair, and now just waiting on my new Crown! Love this office, and I have been going there since I moved here in 2010. They are the Best of the best!!!

These guys are fantastic, Dr. Skyler is the best. I has severe tooth pain and went in for an emergency tooth extraction. Not gonna lie I was scared of the pain. There number 1 Priority is comfort. A bit of normal pain and pressure but not too bad. Thanks guys I can not wait to dive into sum yummy tacos again.

I absolutely love Dr. Skyler and staff! I took my daughter who is disabled there and who gets scared just getting a cleaning. He was effortlessly perfect! He knew exactly what to do and say to make her calm and comfortable and was able to do the numbing and a cavity/chipped tooth perfectly. I would recommend anybody disabled to go there and of course everyone else. The entire staff are awesome as well!

Everyone is so nice and pleasant. Had a tooth extracted and Dr. was wonderful. Great job with Novocaine wasnt overly numb as has happened in the past yet I didnt feel any pain. Dr was very nice really like him and will be back for continued treatment. Thank you all so very much for the great experience.

Good people, they explained what was going on and showed me my x-rays so I could see and understand. The only issues are things that need doing, that are restricted by insurance. So not their fault.

Very nice office facility and extremely nice employees. They go the extra extra mile to make sure there’s only one or two people in the lobby and to rub everything down in each individual area where you’re going to have your teeth inspected. Staff is very nice during the whole process. I was amazed at how quickly I was in the exam room and how quickly it was on the way out. Very efficient, took time to explain my issues and guided me on what I need to do towards the next visit. This is the first Dentistry Ive been to and felt comfortable. I actually look forward to my next visit.

Dr Skyler really really knows what he is doing and is very very good at it. His assistant, Kelly Shurtz really complements him. She is so empathetic and genuine. I just love her. I have severe obstructive sleep apnea, so I don’t do well Having to lay flat on my back and having something obstructing my airway, it gives me severe anxiety and sometimes I panic. Kelly always helps me by holding my hand and making sure that I know she’s there to help me get through it. She is so sweet. She has a great sense of humor too. She always knows what to say and what to do. Five stars all day long. The rest of the team is also great… The front office is always smiling and is super flexible with scheduling. I appreciate everybody there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dental needs. Thank you everyone at Sunwest!!

It is so so hard for me to like a dental office. I have the worst anxiety in these places, gah!I had my consultation today and it was awesome! The staff from the office to the back is very friendly and was very welcoming. I really like Dr. Skylar, he was very informative and appeared to take interest in what I wanted! I will continue with them for my dental care. Additionally Dental Assistant, Kelly, has been amazing every time I see her. Shes very caring and tries very hard to do a good job. I am very appreciative of her. Shes truly a rare gem. There is another Assistant there whom is so sweet every time I am there. I only caught her name once, but it starts with an S. Also a lovely, friendly gal.

This was my first visit to Sun West Dental and I had a very pleasant experience (except for losing a tooth) the receptionist was very nice and helpful. I had to call my insurance company to change dentist and she helped me to do that. They practice safety for this Virus, all wore masks including patients. The ink pen I used was sterilized after it being returned. The assistant I had was Kelly and she was so nice and thoughtful. She patted my shoulder and said its ok when the dentist gave me shots to numb my mouth. I never had that done before and I have been to a lot of dentist. I have to admit her soft words and patting was very nice and comforting. The dentist numbed my moth waited about 5 mins and came back and checked to make sure I was numb and then pulled my tooth. I didnt wait a long time as with all my other dentist. I liked that, gives you less time to be nervous. Dentist explained what I needed done and even apologized that he couldnt save my tooth. It was split down the middle. I never had a dentist apologize to me for not being able to save my tooth. It was refreshing. Dentist pulled my tooth in a matter of seconds. So fast I couldnt believe it was done and over. He was nice, professional, caring and fast ( a good fast). I will definitely return and will refer them to family, friends and anyone needing a good dentist.

Hygienist has a light touch. Last year had four crowns put in on the same day and it was painless. Understanding office staff. Doctors take the time to explain X-rays and treatments

The dentists and staff here do good work and are more than willing to work with you towards your hygiene goals. I would suggest taking them up on their suggestion of a really good toothbrush.

They convenced me to drill out my silver fillings (I did not have any problems with) and replace with composite. Had severe pain so I went back. After checking them They tried to tell me I need root-canals. The pain did finally go away on its own after 3 months. I asked for my dental records to be transferred to another dentist 3 times now, still not done. Not professional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SUNWEST DENTAL.

The woman at the front desk was awesome. She stated my insurance had ended today. I made a few phone calls & we got everything squared away, with my insurance. It took about half an hour but I was happy that I was able to be seen.SunWest dental provided fast and friendly service . The dental assistant was very calm and reassuring about my 2 extrications. She even offered to hold my hand with the needle injections. You may laugh, but I have major anxiety whenever I go to the dentist. So I truly appreciate it! It shows me that she is compassionate and truly cares.
