We recently began to have issues with an aging AC unit at our house. I spoke with Stephen at United Refrigeration and he assisted me with setting up an appointment. I knew we needed a new unit, so I requested a sales meeting. I have a busy work schedule, so Stephen and Kelly were flexible with the appointment times. We met at about 6pm and worked out a deal. Seven days later and I have a new unit that is working flawlessly. I appreciated Kelly (sales) asking questions to understand my needs. Kelly and Stephen provided several options without trying to over-sell. I have another unit that I will be replacing soon and cannot imagine receiving better service than United Refrigeration. An important feature of a vendor I use at my home is communication and follow through. United delivered on both. The original salesman, the office service manager, and the technician all were immediately available through text or call. The install of our new HVAC system was done on time and as promised. The quality of the system is superior - we didnt know what we were missing with our old system (namely quiet and efficient delivery of air and heat). I highly recommend United.

We had our AC and heat pump replaced by united. 2 very professional young men showed up and did an excellent installation. Within 6 hours replaced every part of our system and repaired air box where moisture damaged it. I chose to hire United Refrigeration over another major company in The Villages. Kelly came to my home on the date and time promised. He gave me a very competitive bid on a Mitsubishi mini-split for my enclosed lanai. His team of David, Corey, and Frank were very professional and meticulous in the installation of the unit. They also blew in insulation above my lanai which makes this system much more energy efficient. I would highly recommend United Refrigeration for installation of mini-split or any air conditioning needs in your home.

We live in The Villages, FL. United Refrigeration is a hidden gem. We were interested in putting a ductless room air conditioner in our bedroom. We wanted to get quotes from a few service providers. I had seen rave reviews about United Refrigeration on the Nextdoor app. So, I decided to call them for an estimate. Kelly came to our home and offered various alternatives to us. We were so impressed with Kelly, their customer service, installation team, reasonable prices, and so on - that we have switched to them from the large company that dominates the service in The Villages.

He explained all the details of the proposed Mitsubishi split system, operation, best location, etc. his installation team were very professional and informative during the installation. It seemed that when ever we called Kelly he answered the phone or returned the call within a few moments. He was very professional in all our dealings. After interviewing a few competitors for the same unit, he made us very comfortable that we made the correct decision to selected United hvac. In addition we will transfer our home hvac system to his company for the periodic maintenance

I recently hired this company to replace a heater unit. I must say they promised the sky to me, though delivered hell.They came out as the promised to, checked out the heating system and confirmed it is bad and i need to replace it. I agreed to do so under their recommendation. When the work was done i paid them in full. They assured my family, without a doubt, that we will be covered if anything goes wrong for a full 6 months.Sure enough, about 3 weeks after the job was done, the heater stopped working, when we called back, they said they will send out a technician to fix it. They sent him out, though he billed us another $345 to fix the issue, I was like WHAT?????? But they could care less.It was clear to me, that this company only cares about one thing, $, not about their clients. I dont understand how people can be so dishonest in doing business.Lesson learned, i will never call them again.

Our recommendation for United Refrigeration is the story of our recent needs. United has stepped up two times in as many years to provide quality, price, and commitment in providing for our air conditioning needs. First, they provided us with a Mini- split on our lanai. This system has worked flawlessly in the 1-1/2 years it’s been installed.But, this recommendation is more for the replacement heat pump (air conditioning) system we just had installed. Our story started with the failure of our 12 year old system not being able to hold a charge of coolant. All the coolant would leak out in a 48 hours period. I immediately started contacting local air conditioning companies to get quotes and check availability. Of the three business I contacted, only one responded in a matter considering our comfort and need. United Refrigeration’s salesperson Kelly Lafler, contacted me within an hour of my initial call. He wedged an in home consultation into his busy schedule that day. During our consult, Kelly repeatedly said he would take care of our needs. We found that the issues with all of the companies were not so much price, but equipment availability and installation timing. After shopping, we decided to hire United Refrigeration to replace our heat pump and air handler.During our one- week wait for installation, Kelly provided us with coolant service to maintain our comfort. At, the prescribed time, the United Refrigeration installation team showed up and worked tirelessly for 8 hours plus to remove and replace the heat pump. The new Mitsubishi unit is super quiet and efficient. Within two hours of completion, the house was cooled down to our normal operating temperature.We are thrilled with the quality, price and commitment of United Refrigeration.
