Stay away!! My apartment was broken into twice in the span of 6 months. The front gate was often broken. Super noisy neighbors and the staff does not do anything to actually prevent it, even if you complain numerous times, they’ll just say they reminded them of quiet hours. Lots of neighbors smoke weed as well and the smell comes through.0/10.

Been here for the past 3 years and renewing again and this apartment complex is amazing! Our biggest thing that we love is how kind and assertive the front office is. We have always gotten every issue taken care of and they are so personable! 🙂

Weve lived here for about three months and weve loved it! Its been a quiet community and is very beautiful. There is a common area that my kids have been able to play safely in without the worry of cars. We have spent a lot of time at the hot tub and the gym and have been very happy with that as well. The apartment holds events regularly to help the community get to know each other better. Recently, I went to a Paint and Sip event with a friend that was held by the apartment that was a lot of fun! It was a free evening and I was able to meet some neighbors and made good memories, at the same time making some beautiful decor to put in my apartment!

Hands down my favorite apartment I found here in Mesa AZ. If you guys are looking for a beautiful apartment, this is it! Stop looking any further. Seriously!! Was only here a year due to moving out of state, however I was sad to leave this community. They always have fun events going on! The staff is very friendly. From the beginning Lyndsey gave a lasting impression. I haven’t seen her around and I don’t know if she still works here, but the others are great too! Maintenance was ALWAYS friendly and very quick turn around. I was constantly impressed by their efforts into their building. They are also constantly improving the quality of there community. A few months before we moved they installed screened balconies. The only thing I would say was a down side of the apartments is if you live in the very first section of apartments as you pull in. Though you are close to the pool, gym, etc... I did find that parking always filled out very quickly. You do get 1 covered spot, but if you live with a family with 2 cars, I often found myself having to park at the far end and walk about 8 minutes to my apartment. This is only a pain if it’s raining, super hot outside, or you are carrying a lot of stuff in like groceries. Other than this, I’d recommend these apartments to everyone. And I absolutely loved my time here. Thanks Luxe!!!

I have lived here for a year and a half and it is easily the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! I have no complaints. Whenever there has been an issue, they are quick to resolve it, my mail is never lost, maintenance staff is also great! You can tell that they care to maintain the property and the office staff are always so friendly and nice! The apartments themselves are very nice and spacious. I love living here and would definitely recommend it!

I had a very good experience right from the get go. Katie was very professional, friendly and very helpful. she was always ready to answer any and all questions asked. The sign up process was quick less stressful than most places. Nice environment, even though I am still moving in gradually I already have a good feel about the community.

Get a cardboard box. Theyre made better, and wont steal from your apartment like the maintenance and management. Probably leak less and have less roaches too.

Im new to Arizona and living here has been great. I moved here from California the end of May and Becky has been very kind and accommodating as I made the transition. I love the upgrades, the quiet surroundings, nice neighbors/people and the many areas for my dog to enjoy. My daughter even wished she knew about these apartments before she renewed her lease (she just might end up renting a place here too :)).

I applied for this apartment, I was told 48 hours for the application process. 72 hours later we had no reply. Applied somewhere else, not only did they keep us in the loop with emails, the process took less than 24 hours. We called Luxe to get our $99 holding fee back. Since we were cancelling it was forfeit. Basically a cash grab from them. Will never even consider anyone run by this same company now that this has happened.If youre looking and need an apartment soon (like myself) steer clear. This also says do not trust the front office to me.Edit: Their management did call to explain that the apartment was going through a deeper dive into my background (honorably discharged veteran) than most apartments. I explained to him that none of this was communicated to me and even after several calls where myself and my wife got an, I dont know answer. We were done. We are currently living around 70 miles from my work and I made it clear we wanted to move in ASAP. The whole reason we applied is they had an apartment move in ready. They will work on communication but the money is still forfeit due to them have a policy that if they dont reject us we lose the money.

I had just sold my house and needed an apartment quickly, although I had not rented in many years, I was expecting a horror story based on reviews of many complexes. The staff handled my request with the utmost professionalism. The whole process was actually enjoyable and the manner in which I was treated, was very similar to checking into a luxury resort. The complex is surprisingly quiet and I am really enjoying my first week of living in the community.

We moved in Dec 2015 and have enjoyed living here. When there was a maintenance issue it was quickly attended to and fixed on all occasions... The office personnel have been more than helpful in our transition. Our 2 bd/2 bath is roomy and very efficient for my family. Surrounding neighbors are great. The gym facilities are great as well.

Luxe 1930 has really great staff. Searching for an apartment can be really stressful. They made the process easy and worked with us to get us moved in. I am excited to see what it is like once we move in. I feel good management makes a big difference in how you feel about the entire complex. I really thank them for everything they have done.

I LOVED living here, and sad that I will be leaving. Been here for a year and a 1/2, never had a problem with anyone. The maintenance came when needed in a fast timely manner. The office are nice ladies, did what they could to help me with anything I needed. Quiet, people keep to themselves. Which I really dont mind, love the new upgrades they did around the complex.Nice apartments, but unfortunately the rent went up. So, now i have to find a place that lives up to this one. The maintenance came when needed in a fast timely manner. I will miss living here.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, don’t waste your time & money... just come in at night && walk in the sidewalk you will see roaches running around everywhere... from day one maintenance have to come fix something and onces fix damages something else to much money for the Quality apartment you get ...Do not recommend to anyone!

I have lived here for about a year and a half and overall it has been pretty good. The apartments have nice appliances, fixtures, and I like the layout. They are very animal friendly and have lots of stations to pick up after your dog too.

It is my third month living at Luxe, and it has so far been by far the most relaxing and accommodating living situation Ive ever had. Last week, after filing a maintenance request for a leaky sink, Michael showed up to help no less than 15 minutes after submitting the request online. The problem was resolved within 30 minutes. This is unheard of in the world of apartment maintenance, especially for a complex this large. I am so pleased!

If you get home after 5:00 pm you have to park a mile away from your apartment. This is due to management adding more and more VIP parking spaces for a monthly fee. Very greedy. Stay away.

Nice looking apartments. Rented there for a year. Maintenance crew was good, but every place has its defects. Squeaky floors made the bottom neighbor upset all the time. Also, I didn’t like how they handed us an apartment with carpet stains all over. Lease is up and didn’t want to renew so we moved out and left the place spotless (except the carpet). Now they want to charge us for a whole carpet change ! That’s insane. We had told them about the carpet since the first day that we moved in even wrote it on the checklist. It’s very upsetting how they won’t give us the secure deposit back but also want $300 more to replace something that was already damaged in the first place.

My family and i have recently moved into these apartments, the layout is absolutely great! Any questions we have had or anything we have needed done they have been here to assist us right away, becky from the office is so sweet her customer service is absolutely great. We have had a horrible experience with our previous apartments but moving to the Luxe has been amazing everyone is friendly the community is well maintained, the office even holds events like breakfasts for tenants to meet and greet the environment is refreshing and honestly we have been here 13 days and its quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend checking these apartments out so far so good.

This apartment is a absolute scam. Me and my girlfriend went to view the apartments and then we met Katie, she was cool we thought she was about her business and reliable. After we seen the apartments we liked it we decided we wanted to go with the luxe. After a week I applied on my own because my girlfriend stays in her own apartment and her lease isn’t up and she didn’t want to pay to break the lease, so long story short After I had paid for the application fee and whatever else that needed to be paid after calling them over 20 times I finally got her on the phone I had put my income and my girlfriend income on the application because she agreed to pay half the rent. Katie stated we can use her income because she’s not applying which made no sense I even offered to have my girlfriend confirm it she still said it’s against the policy I told her I would call her back to discuss what I was informed to my girlfriend the very next day I called all day long and even the day after that and of course they didn’t answer so I couldn’t receive my money back. Don’t rent from them they don’t care and just want your money, and you’ll never be able to get a hold of a manager or supervisor unless you go to the office which is ridiculous I will never recommend these apartments EVER! Beware luxe 1930 unreliable and cash stealing trash management team!

We made a reservation in late June and paid the holding depoist, today I went to the office to ask about move in, they told me my reservation has been canceled. WHAT!! When we were making the reservation, the manager asked us to pay for the whole year rent even we showed our legal documents/work contract and whatever they want. We had very clear communication about go ahead to rent the apartment, because when they told me to pay for whole year, I feel different treatment, the manager said she could refund our depoist immediately, I said NO, we would keep the apartment. Because we drove from SF to look for the apartment, and we were about to go back to China for summer vocation. The canlelation date and reason they put in system is July 5th too expensive, I never comment on the price, do not know how they made this judgement. I wish no racial discrimination would happen in this apartment again. Good luck.

I have lived here for 10 years and two owners. ONLY major thing I EVER had was my hot water heater blow out and had water damage in my patio storage closet. They shut off the water, got it fixed from the 24hr hotline and got me a new one. Great location and great staff. Being grandfathered in is ALWAYS a bonus lol.

I wont bother doing this if I dont get so annoyed about the flies. This is a fly catcher we put on our balcony for two weeks. Not to mention I constantly killing flies inside the house. We have a baby at home so we clean our floor two or three times a week and throw trash (diaper!!!!) as often as we can. We lived in tow complexes before we moved in this place and had baby for seven moths before we moved in and we NEVER had that many bugs we have seen in this two months. If the leasing office is always listening our comments and responded our email more on time, I wouldnt bother write this review and take this disgusting picture, but I really dont know what to do because leasing office is not doing their job right. So if you are pleasant to have so many flies accompanying you, welcome to LUXE 1930!

Once I met with a Luxe 1930 Mesa associate, Katie, Ive had only good experiences. Even though there werent any 2 bedrooms available to tour at the time I visited the property, I was able to see the well maintained grounds and community areas. I noticed from the outside of the 2 bedroom units that they have patios with screens, which is nice to keep out insects and unwanted leaves. The fitness center has up-to-date cardio equipment, cord weights, a variety of free weights, exercise balls and sufficient space to do HIIT cardio and stretch. The resort style pool area is very well-kept. The fenced in Doggy Play area has cool obstacles for your pet to play/exercise. All the grassy areas are green and very clean.The location is conveniently located near the 202 and 101 freeways.Best of all, Katie, has kept me up to date through the entire leasing process and has been a pleasure with whom to work. I look forward to living at LUXE 1930 in Mesa.

Luxe Apartments ReviewReview written Feb 2017. Aspen Square Property Management took over the property in October 2015. I suggest you sort the comments by date, and read the most recent.Today, Joy is mgr, Emily is asst mgr. I have been living at Luxe Apartments (C-Club & Univ, Mesa) for 3 months. I’m super happy here.Pre-move-in: I said to the office staff, “Look, I’m stressed out with moving, and I’m sick with the flu. I’m sorry I’m not the nicest person in the world. I’m just stressed.” They both said, “We know moving is stresssful. We understand.” They were both super patient and super helpful during the entire pre-move-in process.Emily told me I needed rental verification before I could move in. I said, “The apartments where we lived 12 months ago – they would never answer their phone. I had to go in, in person, to get anything done.” (I’m not kidding. The office staff at my last apartment complex was rude, with horrible work ethic.) Emily said she would call and try and get the info over the phone. I said, “Good luck with that.” I don’t know how she did it, but Emily got the info. She said, “I do this all the time.” We were able to move in on time because of her fabulous work ethic. She got the job done!Move-in: The last 2 apartments and 1 house where I lived – after I moved in, I had to call maintenance and tell them to fix stuff. It took a month to fix everything in the old apartments/ house. Moving was super stressful. Having to fix stuff after we moved in… was horrible.Here at Luxe, when I moved in, almost everything was working correctly. ( The things that didn’t work were… well… they were so small, I still haven’t called the office to have them fixed. ) I was utterly amazed. I moved in here at Luxe, and everything worked. Well done maintenance staff!Office staff: When I have questions, and I visit the office, BOTH JOY and EMILY are ALWAYS COURTEOUS and ALWAYS RESPECTFUL. They know their jobs. They have great work ethic. They get the job done. I can’t say enough good stuff about them.Maintenance staff: They are friendly when I see them in their golf carts on the property. I haven’t had anyone visit our home, because maintenance had everyting working correctly BEFORE we moved in.Neighbors: The apartment complex is quiet. Seldom loud music. Seldom loud neighbors. There is a mix of ages and ethnicities (race), and and most of my neighbors are friendly.The office plans social activities. It’s been a nice way to meet my neighbors.Roaches: If you live with roaches, USE ROACH POWDER. Pest control companies won’t put roach powder in your house, probably because they are afraid of being sued. Put roach powder down yourself. Buy it at home depot for $ 8.00. Search the internet and learn how to properly use it. Do it yourself. The roaches will go away.Here at Luxe, I have seen NO roaches in our home. I see one cricket in our apartment every week . Who cares? They’re crickets. I have NEVER seen a roach.Fitness center: I have never been inside.Dogs: Yes, I see some dog poop on the ground. Blame the dog owners, NOT the maintenance staff! I walk my dog through the complex 2-3 times per week. I always feel safe here. I never worry that another dog is going to attack my dog. I can’t wait for the dog park to go in.Cats: Lots of stray cats here. They don’t make much noise, and they don’t seem to bother anyone. (If the biggest problem in my day is that a cat sits on my car… dear Lord, I have a fabulous life! )Towing: I’ve never been towed. I’ve never seen anyone else towed. I’ve never seen a tow truck on property.Parking: Near the front of the complex, near the fitness center - parking spaces always seem full at night. We live in the back of the complex, where there is plenty of parking.Suggestions for improvement: None. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
