My air conditioning broke Yesterday night around 8pm so I called as soon as the office opened at 9am to get it fixed. All the lady said she could do was send someone to look at it before 6pm today. I have animals and it is the middle of summer in ARIZONA and they didn’t even provide me with a portable cooler or anything to cool down my apartment and I am on the Second floor! These apartments are TRASH and I DO NOT recommend living here.

This place is a great place to live. They are kind and help you out instead of kicking you they reach out and actually help you. I was behind in my rent and they connected me with resources to same my home dating these hard times. Thank you and God bless Desert Palms. Keep up the good work.

I dont think they dont do a good job at keeping up their property they need to do better on the outside like paint the buildings and fix up the Landscaping

Roaches everywhere, bed bugs, stray cats everywhere you look, crack head in laundry room sniffin at night, pictures shown is not what the apartments look like there is not grass and it’s dirty everywhere, with dog poo everywhere and they over price for repair even while if it was like that before you was there.

Maintenance is bad/ non-existing Roach and termite infestation. Leaky air conditioner, mold in walls and bathrooms, electrical wiring problems and water damage. Poorly maintained grounds, and they want you to pay close to $1,000 a month for slum conditions.

Apartments are not up to code. Grounds are dirty, inside apartments need lots of updating, appliances are totally out dated and the apartment I was in well the refrigerator is broken. For the amount of rent these folks pay its not worth it. A city or county inspector needs to visit this complex.

Desert Palms apartments is a great place to live! It’s fairly decent priced! Utilities is included in rent which is a plus! The manager her name is Tracy, she is really good at communicating with the residents! She always lets your concerns be heard! Does everything in her ability to fix the problem. So sweet and always positive!

Looks very low income apartments.

Always bird poop every morning on the stairs. Its not been addressed by office management to remove the nests above the stair walkways. Really gross and unsanitary to walk through piles of poop on stairs to get into your own home. To break the least the place charges 3xs the rent on an income restricted housing complex.Update 3/17/19 - still massive bird poop on the stairwell every morning. Last night my car was vandalized in the parking lot. Unattended children running through the complex screaming until 9pm. Laundry room facility machines are filthy. Trash all over the complex everyday. Not a safe or clean environment to live in, very unhappy tenant.

I’ve lived here for 2 years with my kids when I first moved into the apartment I wasn’t pleased my blinds were discolored they weren’t new the dish washer was broken the kitchen drawers weren’t put together or fixed the maintenance was lazy well the maintenance supervisor was the managers in the office are unprofessional the one that was my favorite was Tracey the others tried to make it hard for me and gave me the run around and always tried to find a way to charge extra or get more money out of me they have roaches coming from other peoples apartments seriously I had to get on them about that when I first moved in cause I noticed them and I didn’t want my electronics to get damaged because of them the kids come knock on your door at 6-7am for your kids to come out I only stayed until I found something better and because I was close to my job but I’m so glad to be gone overall my main problem with living here was them trying to get more money out of their tenants for any little thing and the maintenance.

Dont waste your time coming here. Theyre WAY over priced! The management is incapable of addressing any real issues, however Ive seen how they treat people struggling to pay rent, yet they will not honor their part of the rental agreement! Because this is low income, section 8, HomInc voucher approved they take full advantage of the renter. Be careful dealing with this property! They will say whatever to get you to sign the lease, then act as though they are not aware of the conversation. If they can not prove it in written agreement then know they are blowing smoke. They will not fix anything, the under-employable lack of knowledge maintenance will rig whatever up just to seem as though they have addressed the work order and the women in the front will take their side. I suggest recording them every-time you let them talk at you because they sure dont know the first approach of proper communication. RAN DOWN, OLD OUTDATED EVERYTHING, DIRTY, DANGEROUS, CRIME INFESTED, ROACH INFESTED, ANT INFESTED, YOU WILL WITNESS MARTIAL LAW WHEN THE POLICE STOP BY WHICH HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN 8 MONTHS IVE RESIDED HERE. RUUUUN FAR AWAY, UNLESS YOU ARE desperate, this is not ideal for children nor anyone with any short of home training. GREEDY EVIL LIARS WORK HERE FROM THE HEAD TO THE TAIL!!!!! GOD WILL JUDGE THIS PLACE, THEY ARE facilitating some wicked things and they stand behind it hoping no one can bring true transparency to their behavior, which will happen when they least expect it!!!!

Had an amazing experience with the apartment manager showing me all of what the apartments offer as well as great prices loved it

Large rooms but crawling with bed bugs and roaches. They trick and give you 3 month to advise if you have bed bug. But it takes that long for the chemicals to wear out of the carpets and then you have to pay for it. They want even change the carpet when you move in. Only get an apartment that has tile instead of carpet if you want to enjoy living their

I lived there for 3 yrs at first good then always paper after paper got frustrating getting home ND saying what next I get tiered ND need things fixed too awhile no security when I moved out I had to pay a lot for them to paint the whole.apartent even tho it what clear. no holes or nothing nop. never again

This place is nasty. Maintenance doesnt fix things(air conditioner has been leaking since May,bathroom shower leaking and we found out we had termites two months ago and they still have fixed it), there is dog crap everywhere you walk outside. Called cooperated and complained but nothing has changed. If your looking for a nice place this isnt the place.

Complex is messy and just looks like its not well kept. Manager was EXTREMELY RUDE and unwelcoming.

Too many problems, rent too much for the condition of the property, roach,termite, and bed bug problems. Too many people doing too many things they shouldnt causing police to be here frequently.

Do not move here. The management does not listen to its residents and does not make necessary repairs to the interior. There has been a blockage in one of the hot water lines to our apartment for close to a year now forcing us to all use the secondary bathroom. Multiple neighbors have asked for pest control to come out, as there is a huge cockroach problem that the management does not care to take measures against. Youve been warned.

Moved into leaks cockroaches and bed bugs still have all three, three yeard later after supposed treatment and years of maintenance men coming.

Gross place with bugs and huge crime rates please dont and think before you sign. Do you really want to live with criminals roaches and bed bugs?

Had a car accident in front of this place 3 people came over used there phone to call 911 cops tookme home left my bag full of personal info there by mistake and it was stolen #worst day of my lifetime
