I always get my nails done here! Never disappointed! Mike does an amazing job with my nails and definitely knows what he’s doing!

First, The place is dirty! I got a pedicure and The water wasn’t hot, she pushed my cuticles back so far and hard that she broke skin, cut my toenails too short, and my toes look like they were painted by a 10-year-old. Next, the full set. The art came out Beautiful, however not worth $88. They charge extra for “ specialty shaped nails” but they do not know how to do the specialty shape!! I asked for coffin but I got Square and she still charged me extra. Pedicure rate: 0 out of 10. Acrylic full set rate: 5 out of 10. Do not get a pedicure here!!! However if you don’t want a specialty nail shape but want good art and don’t mind the high prices, or the uncleanliness, check them out.

I went here as a second option..my first and favorite place was booked. Nobu gets one star for being able to fit me in right away, the other star is for having the color I wanted. I went there yesterday afternoon and tonight one nail came completely off with gel and another is cracked halfway just hanging on. While I was there yesterday at no point did she have me wash my hands during the service, which I think is normal routine before they proceed with the polish. I didnt say anything because I assumed she would have me do that at the end and tidy things up. I left there with polish on the inside of my hands and a glue/polish all over my fingers. I had to purchase acetone to clean them up at home. I had asked four times for my nails to be shortened and she would file them a bit, but still never shortened them how I asked by showing her the ONE finger I did like. Their price point ts were okay, but not worth it, if the very next days paint is chipping g and nails are falling off.

Mike was great! He was efficent and friendly also very knowledgeable. I will be going back and I would highly recommend him.

Great experience. I brought in a picture and they made it come true. Kim did an awesome job on my nails. These were special vacation nails but I will be back. I also got a pedicure and it was great. Nails are summer ombre dip and I got gel on my toes.

I had my acrylic nail fill in done by mike (he did the original full set 3 week prior to fill in). The nails looked good, however after less than a week, most of my nails are lifting, 3 of which have already came off. The clear top coat is also rubbing off. Not to mention, the young guy who did my pedicure did a terrible job, it was as if it was his first day.

If I’m being totally honest it’s pretty sloppy. Polish is on my skin and the finished nails are bumpy. Really surprised after seeing all the rave reviews and photos of professional looking nails. I had an appt at 3pm, got there at 2:50, didn’t get get started on until 3:30, but in their defense they were really busy.

Kim did an amazing job!! Just as good as the photo I showed her!

If you want to wait and hour-two hours even with an appointment come here.They ALWAYS over book and never allow for time in between clients for proper cleaning.I made my appointment one month and four days in advance. And even checked back in the week prior just to be sure.Still I had to wait an hour-two and at times three hours to be serviced even though walkins were being taken care of left and right.I know they will continue to graner business but if don’t mind waiting 2-3 hours no matter your appointment time then this is the place for you.They leave during the middle of an appointment and may even put people in front of your appointment time.This has happened to me on more than five occasions. I usually try to give smaller businesses the benefit of the doubt.I have brought the issue to the owners attention multiple times after it became a pattern of behaviors.

This place is literally amazing, they are friendly, clean, fast and efficient. i’ve only been there twice but i’ll continue going back until i have a reason not to

My daughter and I went two weeks ago and had our nails dipped. Her nails still look great, but mine started lifting after a week. Maybe my technician was less experienced but I would have expected it to last longer. I was also charged for tips that I did not get and didn’t notice until I was home looking at the receipt. I learned my lesson to look at the charges before I leave the store.

Every time I’ve gone I’ve been more than satisfied!!! Mike is your go to for nail designs. Please know they may be busy and you may have to wait but when you consider their customer service, their work, the time and detail they take on your nails — it’s worth it. You can literally showthem an inspiration pic/idea and they will work as hard and detailed as they can to make sure you’re satisfied. All 3 pictures are sets I’ve gotten from Nobu.

I absolutely love this nail salon! I had acrylics for yrs & let them recover for a little bit. I came here to get my acrylics back for the summer & it did not disappoint!! If you’re looking for a nail salon that will achieve whatever it is that you want Nobu is the place to go! Anytime I go to a nail salon I always have something in mind that I want and know that there’s a high chance that the nail tech will not be able deliver or it may be too much to ask of the tech to do. Let me tell y’all, Mike was more than willing to do what I wanted plus more. I didn’t feel rush and I didn’t feel like there was any pressure(some techs will pressure you into getting something unwanted). Mike made the whole process fun and exciting. You can definitely tell he has a passion for what he does. I’m huge on shape when it comes to nails. So if you’re looking for preciseness and new trends this is the place to go. I normally look at reviews rather than leaving my own but I’m so satisfied with the service that I have to brag on this salon! My Expectations were definitely more than met.

Kim & Mike are the most talented nail techs! Highly recommend and will be my permanent spot from now on. The most friendly staff and beautiful work done!

Mike did my full set today and its definitely the best acrylics ive ever had. He took his time and made sure the shape was exactly how I liked it. I find that most technicians say my nails cant be narrow or too thin but Mike shaped them perfectly. This is my new go to spot for sure!

I was extremely disappointed in the service I received at this salon. My nail tech was over 30 mins late to my scheduled appointment but I was pleased with the fullset/nail art. However that same night of my appointment 2 of my nails broke after hardly doing anything to them. I went in the next day to have them repaired only to wait 2 hours to have 2 short nails fixed. Then about 2-3 days later another nail on a different hand broke, when I was washing my hands !!! I was furious in the quality after I had paid over $100 at this salon. I called Kim (my nail tech) and she did not apologize or seem sorry for any reason. She offered to fix it again for free but I refused to give this salon my time anymore! I had got my nails done for a trip and did not have time to return to this salon that was 40 mins from my house. Then a week later over 4 different nails broke. Overall this salon is talented with shaping and designs but application could use more work! There is no reason all nails on a full set are breaking less than a week of application.

I believe Mike was the one who did my nails, he was the only gentleman there. I showed him a picture and they look even better. He did such a fantastic job. I have found my new nail place FINALLY. I would 1000% recommend this place to anybody and everybody. It did take about 2 hours, but as you can see something like what I got takes time. I would rather it take a while and be gorgeous then be rushed and look horrible. Will definitely be back here when it’s time for a full in!!!!! I am beyond happy with how they turned out.

My nails chipped within 5 days of getting them done. They also killed my nails. They over filed the nail and when I told her she said it would be fine. They left my nails unhealthy and flimsy which led to them cracking and breaking. Horrible experience, I will never go back.

The best nail experience ever! I admit I can be a little particular and had a few requests that i always struggled with at other salons. I wanted straight nails that weren’t curved and I didn’t want my nails to look “bubble like”. Most salons say sure and yet I always end up shaping them myself at home. Not Mark at Nobu! I also found some other nail art I saw on their website and he KILLED IT! I’m going to go ahead and brag on him that it was better than the photos I showed him. We used my turquoise rings as inspo and the only thing I’m disappointed about is that nails grow because I want to keep them forever! I’m not worried because Nobu is my new nail home and they have a client in me forever!

The man that did my nails meant to take a picture before I left but we forgot and I left in a hurry. But I love them! Perfect shape and size, with the exact design I wanted. Well worth the time and money

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I NO LONGER HAVE A NAIL ON MY RIGHT THUMB!!! I did not originally have any redness or infection anywhere near my nails. I’m assuming they must not clean their tools here at all. After a week of having an ***$80*** set of nails put on here, my nail underneath got infected and as it grew out, more nail peeled off. I eventually had to see a doctor for an infection in my nail from the set I got. After painfully having to remove the nail, my whole nail FELL OFF. As you can see, my cuticles became red after they finished. I’m not sure if I can even get a nail to grow back anymore. It’s been a month and a half since getting my set of nails here and my nail still hasn’t grown. Want AT LEAST a refund for the pain and frustration I’ve had to endure! I have never had any issues at any other nail salons except this one. They tore my cuticles apart.

The best nail salon in Louisville! Hands down. Mike specializes in long nails which is why I will not be going anywhere else. Show him any picture you want, any design, anything, and he will do even better then the picture. Him and his wife are amazing! Very nice people. The only con that I would say is whether you have an appointment or not, I’m usually there for awhile. But Mikes work makes up for it all!

This was my first time at Nobu. I typically frequent Venetian down the street but with a shift in work schedule, I’ve needed a new salon. I have literally never had such beautiful nails. I like them long, sharp, and square. Mike did AMAZING. These are quite literally the best nails I have ever had. The service was incredible, alongside the atmosphere. I was excited to see that Britain’s Got Talent was on TV and not the news (lol). I highly recommend Nobu and now consider myself a future regular! Thank you!!

Tried out Nobu this morning and I think I found the perfect go-to salon! I was seated immediately as a walk-in. The salon itself is beautiful and SO clean. Complimentary wine is offered and everyone working was so nice. I believe the gentleman who did my nails was Mike - I should have checked his name for sure because he was great! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he explained to me how he would accomplish it, and gave me really good advice on how to keep my nails healthy after I had acrylic for so long. They turned out so beautifully, I will absolutely be back. I also love how they set up the polish drying area for pedicure! I haven’t gotten a pedi yet but I am looking forward to it.

This place was very crowded when I walked in and I noticed it was messy and dirty. I was told it would be ~10 mins so I thought Id wait because this place must be good with the crowd. I was then directed to a station. It was not cleaned up from the previous person. I figured they would clean and sanitize the station before starting with me. The woman came over to the station with the utensils in her hand that she had carried over from her last station and then asked for my hands. I immediately said Ive gotta go! She was about to start filing my nails at a station with someone elses nail clippings and nail dust! GROSS and DISGUSTING!!!! I will never go back to this place!!!!!

Do not go here. Do not go here. Do not go here. I made an appointment at 12 to get an acrylic fill in. I didn’t leave until 4 pm. Also to note the fact that all of the nail techs came in 30 minutes late and didn’t didn’t even start on me until about 12:50. They began to work on someone who didn’t even have an appointment before they started working on me. For no reason should it have taken four hours for a fill in. And they are so overpriced. $85 for a fill in? With no designs? I wish I had walked out when I had the chance to leave. Will never step foot in here again. All of the workers are very nice people, but very unprofessional and unorganized. I give them creds for their talent, but at the end of the day no one should be there for 4 hours.

IPhone Repair, DO NOT go to Nobu Nail Bar to get the iPhone fix, the guy rude and unprofessional. I dropped off my iPhone on Thursday April 1 and he told me it was gonna be fixed by Monday April 5, and when I call to see what time I can come pickup my phone on Monday April 5 no one answer the phone. Finally got a hold of him on Wednesday 7 he told me to come pick it up on Thursday April 8 when I arrive on Thursday the phone wasn’t fixed, I asked to give me my phone back and I’ll take somewhere else and he said already broke the phone apart and showed it to me. At this point I couldn’t take the phone back because no one will fix a phone that’s already broken down. He is unprofessional and rude. I didn’t get my phone until Friday April 9.

Its been 2 weeks since my visit to Nobu and I am STILL getting compliments! I knew I was going to be in Louisville so I read reviews and for what I was looking for it lead me to Mike at Nobu! I visited on a Wednesday morning and was immediately helped. I showed them pictures of what I wanted and they called mike to come in while they worked on my toenails. Everyone was very friendly and when Mike got there he really listened to what I wanted and mixed the powders to get exactly what I wanted without making me feel like a burden and he answered all my questions about technique and upkeep! Highly recommend this establishment! Also one of the cleanest establishments I have visited, I will definitely revisit when I am in the Louisville area again!

Called to get wait time and to make appointment was told you had to make appointment online. When booking appointment online it shows several techs and requires you to choose one. When it was my appointment time I get there and i am told that its a very long wait, when I told the gentleman I had an appointment he asked with who...was told the person does not do nails and that the tech mu daughter booked with was off. I explained that his website does not tell you this information and all he could say was sorry long wait so basically appointments mean nothing.

I recently started going to Nobu and I can’t go on enough about how much I love it there. Everyone is very friendly and nice, they all speak to you & make you feel comfortable. Mike does my nails & he always takes his time to give me exactly what I ask for. The shop is clean and the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend.

I am 26 years old and have been getting acrylic nails for a long time. I had recently stopped getting them done due to other salons not doing them well or to my liking. I broke down the other day and went to get a full set by Mike and he did amazing! I haven’t been so in love w my nails in forever and I am so glad I went to Nobu! I’d say the set I got by Mike is the best set I’ve had in my life! I will surely be back and I’d also refer this salon to my friends, family and even strangers!

I like to try random nail salons in the area, I went to this place since it is close to my work. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of work here! They can do literally anything you ask for and in a short amount of time. I cannot express how great the quality of work was!! I recommend to all my friends!

My first time going there I forgot to take a picture and write a review. I definitely cant forget again. I called and asked if I were OK to bring my baby girl with me. They young lady on the phone was very nice and said absolutely no problem at all. Came in on a Sunday they were busy, which I already expected. Which gave me enough time to figure out what i wanted to get done. At this point my toddler was still doing fine lol the moment it was my turn she decides to reorganize the colors on the 💅 shelf 11🤦🤦 I am mentioning all this because none of the staff made me feel unwelcome because of her. I have been to places where there are already signs out : you break you pay, children cant be running around etc... Which is understandable but you cant allow children in a place and then expect them to sit still for hours. Anyway, everyone here is amazing. They make you feel like family. Mike does a phenomenal job, he is a perfectionist, pays attention to detail, his shaping is on point. I simpley love coming here. Oh and my baby gpt a manicure for free 😉😂😍😍Mike take a day offThank you so much

I went to Nobu today as a walk-in and I got sat immediately! I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and they turned out to be exactly what i showed them! I was there for a while, but they were very busy because they have shorter hours on Sundays, and I wanted a special design, which takes obviously longer. I absolutely love my nails and will definitely be coming back. I wish I could stop my nails from growing and keep these on forever. I would definitely rate them 6 stars if I could 😭

Today i went in search of a new nail salon and after seeing some photos on google i choose this nail salon. and let me tell you, i couldnt have gotten luckier. i walked in and showed them a photo and they made a call and the nail artist Mike came there within 10 minutes and looked at the photo and we sat down and got to work. He took great care to make sure my nails were exactly what i wanted, from the shape to the colors and to the designs! i will most certainly be back!

They did an awesome job! Ive never had acrylic nails done before, and they were extremely courteous. Every concern or question I had, they addressed and fixed immediately. It is a very relaxing and cool atmosphere. I paid 55$ for my full set acrylic and he did great!

I drove 45 minutes to get QUALITY nails, and I’m so happy I did! Mike did my nails, he took his time and he’s a real perfectionist! Which I love, my nails are literally perfect. I went on 02/22/19 and just wanted to try this place out since I had heard so many good things. I had an appointment with the owner mike since so many people praised his work. I’ve been getting my nails done for the past 4-5 years and I have never had this quality of work. My nails were perfect. Literally perfect. Unlike many other places I have tried, they paid attention to the cuticles and took the time to ensure that my nails were properly taken care of. I’m so happy and amazed with the work. I have definitely found my new permanent nail place!!!!

I’m in town from Chicago and This is the first time my nails have EVER Been so Precise and exactly what I asked for. My coffin shape was BEYOND PERFECT .. When I Go To The Nail Shop I ONLY Ask for coffin shape yet I’ve Never Actually HaD Coffin until today. I also stepped outside of my comfort zone and did black & I was afraid I wouldn’t like it because I’m a Bright Color Gal But my Nails Are Gorgeous.
