Great service. Beautiful salon. Reasonable prices. Just needed a quick polish change and was in and out in 20 minutes.

I have been to this nail salon on multiple occasions and none of my visits have been exceptional. The service is okay and I have had mixed results with my nails. Although I will say this last time I went while the girl was not particularly friendly.... she did do a good job overall on my mani and pedi.

They were very professional and very talented. This was my first manicure & they were very helpful guiding me through all the decisions. Theyre very busy but worked quickly, so the wait time wasnt very long. I wanted something subtle & I think they did a wonderful job!

I have been going here since the day they opened and I have never been disappointed. My gel polish chipped and they fixed it immediately with no charge or problems. My nails break and they fix them. I go to Tony who is fantastic.

Got charged 50$ for this pedicure. Couldn’t even clean up and paint it well.

Made an appointment for 2pm. For there at 2:03 and they had me and my friend wait an hour before they sat us down to get serviced when we had AN APPOINTMENT! Then the employees finally came to us and sat us down to get pedicures and they left us there for another 15 min. Then they decided the wanted to fight over whose doing whose toes in front of us, they were laughing speaking their language and it made us feel really uncomfortable. My friend told her she would wait on someone else if it was an issue and they both just walked away and went to service someone else. It was now 3:17 pm as we finally decided we would just leave.This was a whole waste. So thanks for nothing!!!!

4 of us went in and ALL of our nails were all wrong. One of us asked for a simple manicure and they gave her a deluxe manicure which she told them no multiple times. Second her nails weren’t smooth and they were misshapen. Third she asked for a simple design saying they could do it and they just did basic color with some glitter. Fourth her color needed three colors because it has so light- they did 1 1/2 coats and you could see through nail.They charged the Manicure, 2 fill ins the same as the FULL SET!!Not worth the money at all...

I made my daughter an appointment for 5:30 and she was finally serviced at 7 th n 5/28. I pd $50 for dip with tips 2 days later one had fallen off, we went to the shop for repair immediately after they opened back up from Memorial Day holiday and they charge me $5. The next day another nail is off and it is only 5 days into the nail job being done. This nail job wasnt worth $25 let alone the $50 I pd now its expected I pay $5 for each nail falling off by the day. You win some and lose some with nail shops and unless you know who your getting here well you will be disappointed and wasting your money.

Lee really took her time on both my pedicure and my nails. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She honestly does a great job. It was a relaxing experience that I much needed. And I love my nails and get compliments on them all the time.

I went in to get my nails fixed Andre polish I asked the woman for blue gel nail polish and then I wanted white tip on it when I said that the nail polish had been Goofy on the nails and that I didnt really care for what they look like she said oh my god when I ask for the white tip I find that to be very unprofessional I also find the fact that she answered her phone three times and made a phone call why stopping doing my nails how unprofessional is that I will never go back to this place she was extremely rude and there was other customers and theyre being rude woman I was wondering why it first but now

My 15 year old daughter went in for a basic pedicure & a full set gel nails & they charged her $92!!! When I inquired about why so much, they insisted that they gave her a Deluxe pedicure which they did not cause I’ve personally had both so I know what they consider “Deluxe” and I scheduled her appointment for Basic & my daughter also told the lady that she only wanted the Basic pedicure. Then they charged her extra just to use 2 different nail polish colors (no nail art) which she’s done before & never was charged extra unless she got some kind of art or design. The bottom line is this place over charges & is too expensive for the services provided!! No thanks! Will not be returning!!

Normally I have a really good experience and my nails are usually on point. However, today on this visit I notice short cuts were taken and I was not satisfied with my nail color and was told it cost $24to do a polish change. also,I was charged a couple uncounted for dollars!!! I am not happy about todays visit

I have been a loyal customer for years, today may have changed that.. I ask for dipping power ombre. I was sat with a lady who proceeds with acrylic nails. Three times I said this is not dipping power. She said same thing No its not.... she finally said, well this is how I do it. SAME THINGIf you done have an appointment, your treated differently, news flash...not everyone can schedule a particular time they can be there. Im so disappointed...

I like this place but Jimmy was way too rough with my full set and pedicure both times I came. He tried to pick up my feet by my big toe and was bending my fingers and hands aggressively, And he seemed to not know too much about nails so he didn’t do them right and I paid $95. I want to give them another chance for the 3rd time and go to someone else. NOT JIMMY.

Very rude nail tech.. also not very good.. my nails are all different shapes.. I mentioned to her that she had messed up my nail art that I paid extra for and she said that there was nothing wrong with it. She was very rude the whole time also. I think her name was Lee, she is one of the older women working there.. was charged $50 for a FILL IN..

I love this place. I have got such good service. I like the owner, he talks to you and they explain everything throughly. My gel lasted without chipping 1 bit for 3 weeks. I am never going anywhere else. They do student discounts, as well as seniors. I feel cared for here.

Ive lived in the Louisville area for over 13 months and this is by far the best nail salon. The staff are amazing! All services are wonderful, whether I get a shellac/gel manicure, a pedicure, or waxing services. They are pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

They did such an amazing job on my pedicure I asked if they did nail dip and they do! I came back last night and sat with Lily (she is so sweet and really good at her job) and my nails are perfect. I highly recommend this salon for all your nail needs. They do waxing too!

I’ve been here many times before but I’d thought I’d give it 1 more try after a year or so. They are so darn rude it’s unbelievable!! Every single time I have went there was some kind of problem. I’ve never had problems with anyone like these people. It’s ridiculous! And might I add they don’t do great on nails EVER! Each time I have went. Wal-Mart literally does better. Wouldn’t waste a penny!!

The place was very dirty and disgusting. It was really disappointing and the person I got was very bad at nails and the person was very dirty and stinky. They were very mean and rough. She cut my whole toe nail off and gave me a cut. Horrible place never going there again.

Today was my first time going to Avalon Nails and I was leery about it because I have been going to the same nail place for the last 6 years and I am very picky about my nails! But I received a gift card for Avalon so I finally put it to use and I am VERY satisfied with the outcome! The place is clean and nice, the staff was nice and the guy who did my nails took his time and literally my nails turned out perfect!!! I will be back!

I will start with a positive, the salon was very nice and clean. However, I will not be returning. Two customers without appointments were put in chairs before me. Despite this, the deal-breaker was the gel application & filing care. She broke skin twice, nearly three times. The reason my filing was so unpleasant is because there was so much hardened gel powder around my nails. So much that she had to press my skin away from my nail with her fingernail on both sides of every single nail. Many techs do this, but never have I had so much on my skin that it was so necessary. Kelly did give me lovely nails. She painted evenly, achieved a nice form, and felt bad when she burned me. Unfortunately, the process was below par in comfort.

I have been here several times, and they have always done a wonderful job. I personally have never had to wait, the nail techs are nice and efficient. I find it odd that people have so many negative things to say, the store is clean, the pedicure chairs are very nice. Doesnt feel over priced to me considering that this is one of the nicer and cleaner nail salons I have been to in town. I would absolutely recommend them.

Lela and Lindsey are the only good nail techs here. I am not a person to complain but when I have waited over an hour to get my nails done it’s a little nerve racking. So when they told me that it’s going to be a 55 minute wait I asked if we could walk around the store next door and they call when they’re ready for us because there were no chairs available. They said it was fine. So after 50 minutes of walking around I was back and they’re are two new people sitting at the techs I requested. There are no appointments on Sunday. So I do not recommend coming if you don’t have appointment.

Had some good experiences here. Staff is hit or miss on the friendly/talkative scale. Pretty talented staff though. However last time I went though I had an allergic reaction to the cuticle oil? Havent gone back since.

I love it here. Been a customer since 2017 when I moved back home to Louisville. I needed to find a new nail salon. I finally found Sam at Avalon nails and I cant accept anything less. I work hard (Bar tending & Warehouse) and my nails werent lasting when I had shellac. Other nail salons were letting me come back every week or two weeks. I told Sam of my issue and she suggested the Dip now I only have to go every 4-5 weeks. They have a wide variety of colors in the Dip, even glow in the dark. Some places say they have it and only have 12 colors. Not a Avalon. Sam is personable and gives great convo. She will never sell you short if she has the extra time she will spend it with you. Never a rush job! It is hard to do the dip french tip and she is excellent at it.#SLAYS! She is great on the toes too. If she is not there, I suggest Lila as well. I think Lily is who I use if I have to go on Sundays that Sam isnt there. Sometimes I have to wait even if I have an appointment but its not her fault the dude at the front schedules her too close sometimes. Knowing shes not going do a poor rush job.

From the minute i walked in to the minute I left, I felt appreciated and welcomed. Definitely a luxurious experience and will definitely come back.

Good environment and they listen to your needs well. Only problem is everytime I go and get a full set, they cut my cuticles with the electric file and it really hurts. It makes me not want to get my nails done anymore. But overall great pedicures and sets.

Today February 4th I went to use my Christmas gift. A pedicure from my husband. Normally I have a very good, relaxing experience. Not today. THis particular technician was obviously in a bad mood. She was rushing, rough & insulted me. I will never have her again. not feeling relaxed at all . ☹️

Love this place! Have been coming for just over three years. They have experts at SNS and gel nails. Saw Kelly and Samyesterday and theyre talented and lovely. Amazing massage chairs for pedicures, amazing selection of different polishes, and the nicest people. Lindsey, Kate and John are the best!!

First and last time. Overpriced and not worth it. I paid $30 for a basic pedicure that lasted no more than 10 minutes, the lady only did 1 coat of nail polish and I was rushed to pay while waiting on my friend even after we told them we were paying together. We will not be coming back.

To the point where two weeks later I was in Florida abt to get another one and even the salon kept complimenting me on how well the service I had done from them was PERFECT!

I went in for a manicure and for gel polish on my nails. I am not an avid nail/spa person so perhaps I wasnt entirely clear what I wanted. The lady was asking about fake nails and I said, no, I just want gel polish on my actual nails. She started filing and put the base coat on for the gel polish. Before she started to add the color I asked her if she was not going to trim the cuticles and do the actual manicure part. She apparently didnt realize thats what I wanted (totally fine, miscommunication happens) but immediately started putting the color polish on and saying she would do it afterwards. Well, the problem is that would obviously leave a gap between the polish and the nail bed. I just wish once she realized the miscommunication we could have gone back and corrected the mistake before applying the polish. I appreciate that she apologized but I do feel that I wasted the money I spent.

If I could I would give 0 stars. They tricked my kid into getting $37 nails when the price was supposed to be $22. When they started they put gel polish on and when she told them normal polish the lady said too late . My daughter was supposed to also get wax on her hand towards the end. They said done and she didnt get wax or lotion. I was supposed to pay $22 and she didnt even get the $22 experience and we had to pay $37!!! Worst waste of money NEVER GOING BACK!!! The nails didnt turn out the way they were supposed to. Dont waste your money or time! They take too long for the nails to turn out bad. Prepare to be disappointed if you go to this salon!!!

I come here about every 3 weeks for pedicure and shellac with Lila. She is amazing, takes her time and do a great job always.

They discriminate women who have children with them, they have no sort of warning or note saying no children allowed or only 18year and older or any age limit. So now you know people if you visit this place dont take your kids because they will kick you out in the most humiliating manner. Plus their work is not really worth the long wait, nor the price. Had my nails done in a mate shade with a few crystals and they painted the crystals over with the mate shade making it loss their shine looking think and bulky. Not worth $55dollars.

I usually go to another nail salon, but I needed a fill in something terrible and my usual nail tech had a family emergency. Lesson learned I will NEVER cheat on my nail girl again, no matter how bad I need a fill in.The lady doing my nail was super sweet, the salon was really nice. But this is possibly the worst fill in I have ever had. She didn’t add acrylic on the sides, she didn’t even paint them to the cuticle line ( it looks like I painted them, which is bad) the shape of the nails is very uneven. One had had nails longer than the rest. I’m embarrassed for anyone to see my nails actually. I should’ve known not to go here, one time my boyfriend and I got pedicures here and he got an infection.

I usually go to a different nail salon to get my nails done but I was very short on time ans this location was closest to me. I went on Monday for a fill in and gel paint. They did an amazing job, so I decided to go back today for my pedicure-Saturday- worse decision ever! The guy they had complete my pedicure did not ask if I wanted a cut down, I had to remind him to do stuff included in the pedicure, and he even skipped over the massage! My cuticle was not properly cute, the gel on my toes are uneven and DONT cover the entire toenail. For me, a pedicure is a relaxing experience, this just stressed me out! I paid $50 for my toes to look horrible, the guy offered 10% off my next pedicure there but I WILL NOT be returning. Worst experience ever!

I have been an avid customer of this place. Today I walked in at 12:20 and was greeted as usual. I told the lady I had 2 hours and I made sure to ask if that was enough time to get my acrylics soaked off, get a dip on them, and get a pedicure knowing that it would be tight on time. She assured me that that was plenty of time. I then sat in a pedicure chair for AN HOUR with no water to soak in and everyone working there acted like I didnt exist. Then a lady that came in 30 minutes after I did began getting serviced even though I heard her say she didnt have an appointment. Im so frustrated and upset. Not just because I was ignored but also because I now have to find a new nail salon to go to as I will never return to this place.

I really enjoy my experience and my nails & toes everytime I leave here! I only wish I didnt spend about dbl what I spend when I go to other nail salons....but I guess that is why they always say you get what you pay for!

The lady did a good job in my feet, but she was too rough

After many years I’ve been coming to this place it has really changed. As a loyal customer their customer service skills has gone down. Can rarely get an appointment at the time I need. The guy that answers is always rude to me. Just seems like they don’t care about their customers my co-worker has pedi with gelic didn’t event last through the weekend. I give it two stars because Lindsey is an outstanding nail tech. But they need to get back their customer service

I’ll give it 2 stars ig.. well anyways i came in today just trying to get a simple white set for spring break. The lady i can’t remember her name but it was a short lady and she was kinda old. Anyways she kept for one pressuring me to get gel even though i didn’t want that ! And i kept saying it ! then kept judging me on my decisions. So i guess she was upset because i didn’t wanna pay more for the extra things she was offering and she was so rough with me the WHOLE TIME, i actually have a deep cut on my pinky from where she filed so hard and it still hurts. i recommend going here but don’t get her lol ...
