Brents Locksmith - A staple and long time exceptional business of Monroe, Michigan. Ive used their services for a lifetime. Today, was another opportunity. Sometimes there really arent words. In a town known for fine jewelers, upholsterers, Cobblers, and fine furniture makers over many years, Brents service, quality & customer service....there simply are not enough superlatives to describe this business. Today, I had a key made. One for a lock that had none. ( I mayve convenietly lost the key(s) just to come to this place!) Of course, he was able to make TWO without me asking, hes done it for 50 + year old locks on sheds of mine in the Upper peninsula of Michigan when big box stores and local hardware establishments could not. ( This is not to say that fine keys and products do NOT come from these places. ) Yes, I would drive almost 400 miles ONE way to get a key for a lock that most wouldve thrown away because Brents could do what NO other could. So today, I handed the owner of this fine store my beat up, almost worthless ( except to me, most likely) lock. Minutes later, he returned it WITH TWO keys that did the job - Perfectly as usual. The charge? Well.... There are few places I know of these days I enjoy spending my money more. I wish hed increase his prices.A treasure. A find.If you get a chance to find an excuse to use a locksmith, treat yourself to unequaled customer service.

Brents Locksmith is a family owned shop in Monroe that is ran by extremely good human beings. I cannot say enough about the talent that they have for a dying art form (that has very real ramifications on peoples lives.) I would highly recommend calling Dave and having him look at any existing lock problem you have, before buying a new/replacement lock set from a box store. He is pretty good at salvaging and restoring the use of existing locks.

We absolutely love this place. We had 2 of the most qualified locksmiths I’ve had in my life. I can only leave 1 review but we have used them twice. One for a complete doorknob and deadbolt lock that I love that is as they come. The 2nd time was to program and make a key for my newer Chevy I truck. Part of the work was done from my home. Talk about no hassles locksmith this is the place. The woman was adorable in manners and personality and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. 5⭐️ from this happy customer. Don’t hesitate to use them.

When we found one if the doors he fix would not lock the key would not even turn the whole way like the other doors .When I called him on the Friday night to come fix it so the property would be secured he said he wouldnt come to fix his his work until Monday afternoon while knowing the property would be unsecure. He seem like he doesnt stand by his craft and workmanship.All the work that was needed to be taken care has now been finished to my satisfaction he got out today and fixed the problem. So I will say he deserves at least 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 now.

$80 dollars to get keys out of the car is pretty ridiculous. He couldnt even get them out said he had to look at a manual. So I called Jims towing and they got the keys out for me. THANKS JIMS TOWING!
