It is a little bigger than some of the other animal clinics we have been to, with plenty of room and space. This is important when you are carrying a crate and when you want to be able to sit comfortably and talk with the veterinarian and workers.I’ve already referred your pet clinic to my neighbor. We plan on returning and will certainly recommend you in the future if opportunity arises where someone is looking for a good veterinary clinic.Thank you for taking good care of our feline family member!

I was allowed inside since I had both vaccines. My car wont cool just idling and it was one of the hottest days of the last 3 years. That was most appreciated. Aaron (Vince Gill) helped me and did a great job 👏 It was a pleasant visit. Aaron even helped me out to my car with a big bag of dog food. 👍🐕‍🦺🙂

Melissa was compassionate and successfully helped secure care for our pet while we were traveling to Nashville! She was reassuring that our dog would be fine in their care while we went to Vanderbilt Hospital for a long day of care for my husband’s cancer treatments! Had my dogs groomer there and the groomers did a great job

We had trouble catching our cat Squeak, so we called to say that we couldnt be there in time for the appointment. The clinic gave us an additional hour and a half to bring her even though we knew they had a full slate of appointments. We made it in time, and there was no mention of our being late, just happy to see you. From there on, Squeak was treated very kindly.

Truly the best! We have been using Nippers Corner since we moved here 6 years ago. Such kind staff, thoroughly answer all of our questions and very professional. Most recently my super senior dog went to a local emergency vet and we thought that was the end of him. We took him to Nippers Corner Pet Medical and they literally brought him back to life (and at 17.5 years old he has lived for another 4 months thanks to their excellent care!)! Highly recommend!

I moved to this area in March and quickly found this vet. I do believe my pets received good care. But the organization of things was terrible for me. Simple things like referring to my dog as a she every single time I called. Setting an appointment time only to find out they told me the wrong time. Telling me they would send me some information and failing to do so. They just never seemed to know what was going on.It all came to a head this morning and I looked for a new vet. WesVet was outstanding!

Our fur baby Charlie used to be so anxious about vet visits. But, when we came to Nippers Corner Pet Med Center, Charlie has done so much better. They take such good care of him, and he isnt afraid of the vet anymore:)

When we had our emergency with Titan, we were so scared and anxious. Then our regular vet said he couldnt see him and to take him to emergency. Thats when panic set in. We so wanted to go where we know someone. Yvonne thought to call your clinic because thats where she sometimes takes her grand dogs. Thankfully, you could see us.You not only took care of Titan, but you took good care of his scared mommies, too. Thank you! I wish Id thought to take note of names, but my scattered brain was barely functional yesterday, so Im going thank all of you. Titan has been in my life since he was 6 weeks old, so hes family. My boyfriend and I were thrilled to find Dr. Burch at this clinic! The prices seem a little higher than the last clinic but we cant put a price on the care of our kitty babies! We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Burch, she takes her time and is soft- spoken(weve had other vets scare our cats with loud voices and fast movement) and can even handle one of our more difficult cats that other vets have had to sedate in the past. You can tell she really cares about the long term well being of our cats. Highly recommend!!!

About a year ago I brought my beautiful cat that I had for 15 years. I had never been here before, it was on a Saturday. I had for the prior 15 years been taking my cats to a vet close by our house. She had been diagnosed with a kidney disease several years prior. When my cat started declining, I realized the vets that I had been taking her regularly weren’t doing anything. I took her to several different vets who did nothing, offered nothing. Then, I came here with my daughter. I’m so thankful we did! I can’t remember the name of the vet (the regular vet was away on vacation, I believe) The vet was AMAZING! My baby wasn’t going to make it. We were going to have to put her to sleep. As devastated as we were (and still are) this lady that was our vet and this lady that was a vet assistant were SO SO KIND the whole time. We all 4 were crying. It was heartbreaking but I was so thankful that these people were there. They stayed with us through it all. After she was gone they said to take as long as we needed. We had her sent to be cremated and when we went to pick up her ashes, the vets had done something special for us that to this day brings me so much comfort. They took her paw print 🐾 and wrote her name. It was beautiful! I’m so sorry I don’t remember any of your names, I was grieving so hard I could barely think straight. But, I thank you! ❤️

Friendly, patient, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, sparkling clean facility. Special shout out to the groomer who did a fantastic job on my cats haircut. All the personnel love animals and will treat your baby gently, with thoughtful care. The doc tolerated all my questions without rushing me, answering with honest detail, and no lecturing. Its a busy place and you need an appointment,but they were accommodating when I had last minute scheduling requests. So glad its right around the corner from me. Its good to know theres a place I can trust my cats are in good hands!

I brought my cat in recently due to an eye issue. They took care of her quickly and efficiently and gave great advice on how to handle some other issues she had. Dr. Abby Stephens was great to work with. A week later, my elderly dog was in bad shape. It was her time to go. The staff was super accommodating in getting us in quickly. Michael, the vet tech, was extremely nice and helpful with explaining what we were about to go through. The vet, Dr. Tripp McEachern came in and was warm and kind in helping our beautiful dog transition. I felt sadness and heartbreak, but the environment they gave us was very pleasant and made the whole process easier to deal with. This staff is wonderful and I plan to being the remainder of my fur babies to these wonderful people in the future. You can tell they all truly enjoy what they do and they love animals.

The best vets Ive ever been to! The staff are always friendly and they care for your babies as if they were your own. When we had to put our cat down, they sent us a lovely handwritten card signed by all the staff who knew us and sent us a clay paw print of our beloved kitty before she was cremated. Their groomers are great, and while not the cheapest in town, my Bichons always look and smell gorgeous. This is the first place Ive been to where I know both doctors by name and where many of the techs know who I am without having to introduce myself, even on the phone. Make sure you say hello to the residential puppy greeter (a golden retriever), Forrest!

Overall not a bad place, friendly people, and seemed to know what they were doing. However, they will not hold true to their word for check up visits if they bring you back a week later for a “no fee check-up.” Additionally, they will charge you for services that you did not ask for nor were brought up during the visits. Overall, be warned that they do have some shady practices to make you over pay.

Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center is absolutely my choice of vet in the Nashville area. Not only do they provide great customer service, I never feel like theyre price-gouging me -- unlike some other vets that Ive been too.They are extremely knowledgeable and offer advice and answer questions in a friendly manner. Anytime that I have a question about dental care, or food choices, or anything else, they either have an answer ready for me, or do the research to find out.I always feel comfortable taking my cat there and -- from sudden medical emergencies to regular visits and vaccinations, Ive always been impressed. Ive also seen, over and over again, how much they truly love animals.I would definitely recommend Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center!

We are So incredible grateful for Dr. Torchia and everyone here. Our older cat, Babe, stopped eating a few days before we were leaving to visit family in Denmark and they let us drop her off for evaluation and boarding with no notice. They are an incredible team! We are so blessed to have them in our lives now, and Babe is doing great!

Im so excited to have found this place! They were able to see my dog very last minute on a Friday for a nail trim and file. Staff was very friendly and prompt - Im excited to be able to get all my dogs needs met at a place within a 3 minute drive from our home.They are open late which is super helpful for those of us who have to squeeze vet appointments in after work.

I cant tell you how much I LOVE this office! I have had nothing but positive experiences, even when my sweet bear (dog) has been sick or had surgery. They are quick to call you back when they say they will, and everyone in the office just has a wonderful attitude! My dog doesnt like going to the vet (surprise, surprise), and the techs and docs always take the time to get her warmed up to them. It makes me so happy to see them take the time and care about making her feel comfortable when shes scared! 💕🐶💕

I cant say enough great things about them. The entire staff is fantastic and care about the pets so much. I brought my cat in a few months ago and this week I brought in my severely ill dog. After two visits to two different ER vets over the weekend, I was thought I was going to lose her. I called them Monday morning and told them the situation, and they let me bring her in right away without an appointment. They performed surgery that day and saved her life. They gave me options, information and complete care with her diagnosis. NCPM is affordable and all around top notch service. I feel so relieved to have finally found a vet in Nashville. Thank you for saving my dog!

Amazing staff, that truly care for your pet and their health. My cat had urinary tract blockage a few months ago, and I had to make an emergency appointment. They saw him an hour later and had the problem fixed, and have been extremely helpful in not only fixing the problem but making sure it doesnt happen again and that he is otherwise healthy. If you are looking for a new vet theres no where Id suggest more than Nippers Corner.

I had a great experience boarding my senior dog Winston with Nippers Corner. I was very nervous to leave him as he is quite frail and old! I can tell he was so well cared for by the staff and I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

I would give 75 stars if it were an option. My 14 year old weenie dog Brownie suffered an attack by a much larger dog. She was beaten up pretty bad and needed immediate attention. I called them with no notice at all and they gladly agreed to see us. Dr. Judy and her awesome staff stayed way past closing time to do surgery and make sure little Brownie was ok. I cant thank them enough. They even loaned me a larger pet carrier than what Id brought to bring Brownie home more comfortably with only a hand-shake. Man!!! If only all businesses could be this way. They really care about you and your pet. Thank you again so much!!! There is no other vet for me. Anyone moving to Nashville or already here in need of a veterinarian should absolutely come here.

Ive been taking our two cats to Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center for years now. We primarily see Dr. Judy Torschia, though Ive seen another vet there and he was wonderful too. Dr. Torschia really cares about her patients and goes the extra mile to do whatever she can to improve their health. She even called me on a Sunday (when theyre closed) to check on how my terminally-ill cat was doing and offered to give me another prescription to try to help him. Ive lived in the Nashville area for 15 years and seen various vets as Ive moved to different areas of the city and she is the best vet weve seen. The staff are all polite and weve only had good experiences there. I highly recommend them!

Brought my 10lb dog in for a simple teeth cleaning for Feb dental health month and ended up with over a $600 bill for surgery that I didnt approve and wasnt notified that it would be possible or necessary. Feels like a bait and switch ... 10% off means... we double the bill first... then take 10% off. I was planning to go out of town for vacation this weekend but, now I had to cancel because I have a special friend in pain and on antibiotics. Whatever happened to communication and letting the pet owners decide...?

Hickory Plaza Vet Clinic closed in February 2017. We recommend our clients use Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center for their pet grooming needs. Our groomer Kelly has transitioned to Nippers Corner.

We’ve taken our Pit Bull, Lyla, here since she was 6 weeks old. I took her in for her annual checkup last week. Dr. Julie Buford did the exam. Dr. Buford acted as if she was afraid of Lyla the whole time. She was hesitant to approach her and did a very short exam. She didn’t even check Lyla’s teeth. Lyla has always been good and loved going to the Vet. I just don’t think you should be a veterinarian if you are scared of dogs that are not being aggressive at all. Very disappointed and will be looking for a new vet.

And they are one of the only clinics in town that still stock the FIV booster vaccine for cats.

We are extremely fortunate to have found Nipper Corner Pet Medical Center. After adopting two Greyhounds we needed a vet that was familiar with the breed and close to our residence.
