I love this place. Seriously.. One of the best in the 757.. But it legit took almost 3 HOURS to get a fill and this paint job.. Came at 11, was told an hr wait, came back at 12.. Nails started at 12:30.. Left at 1:40.. I wanted a pedicure too but I didnt want to spend all day in there..

I always enjoy my experience at Top Nails. My favorite tech is Don but Ive allowed a few different techs to service me. Only one bad experience with a lady who no longer works there. Anyway, its pretty clean and the nail techs are very knowledgeable. They have good pricing and my nails are always bomb when I leave there. Its best to go during the week if wanting an appointment with a specific tech. Weekends are walk in only and it gets BUSY. This past weekend, I got a pedicure, full set, and eyebrow waxing. Very satisfied per usual. No complaints.

I went to Don because of the pictures of his work. He was nice and initially was fixed the first issue I had with my nails. Then he kept ignoring me even though I was making it clear I was not happy with how my nails were turning out. They’re horrible. my fingers look fat and I looks NOTHING like what I asked for. I can’t speak for the other employees here but I will never go back again to find out.Edit: I asked him if he could accomplish the design with the color change. He said yes. No tech Ive ever been to has ever said they can do a design they couldnt even with color request change. This was a marble look. You can do a marble design with any color.... It also wasnt just the design. It was design, shape, length, the nails were super thick and though the foundation was nice he took the longest possible route at achieving the look. I was sitting there for two and a half hours and this is all I got. No previous work on my hands prior. Followed up with another technician a few days later and she completely fixed everything I hated about these nails.

I just got bumped down. A lady walked in after me for a pedicure and got pushed ahead of me. And no she didnt have and appt. I got up and walked out after I realized that they were going to bump another person in front of me too. They dont do mens feet anymore. Oh well, I guess my money wasnt good enough for them.Peace

Three days after a $58 dip manicure that needed serious repair within 24 hours of leaving the salon, this is what happened when my hand slipped grabbing my computer bag. Yes, it hurt.When I went in on Sunday, the top coat had worn off all the edges and large chunks were missing from the nails. The technician roughly handled the repairs. Doing this also removed a design I paid extra for, by the way, because theyhad to file off the top coat. I can only assume this is what made my nails thin enough to break.I went into the salon immediately. The man who seems to be the manager hastily cut off the broken piece (major ouch), told me my nails were too thin for dip, sloppily slapped a bandage on it, and walked away emphatically speaking in another language. I immediately felt very uncomfortable, and quickly left.I have never had such a low quality manicure or been treated so poorly in a salon before, especially for the price point ($58 just for the manicure...). Honestly, Im shocked. While I was told to come back in three days for my nail to be fixed, I will never step in those doors again. Just wow.

They don’t offer a clear description of their services. They get upset and try to charge you more for the services that you ask for. They claim it’s communication issue with some folks that work there not speaking English well, but I think they are just trying to scam people.Recently they hit and mobbed a woman pushed her because she disagreed with what they were trying to charge.

I had Henry while my friend had Don. Both were so nice, obviously cared about their work. I was clueless about what accents I wanted and this is what Henry came up with. I absolutely love it! Ive been getting stilettos for years and these are the nicest ones I have ever had in terms of shape, care, and bonding.The salon itself is spotless and very well maintained. Plus it is so beautifully designed, and all of the staff were so sweet and friendly.They are my new place for sure.Update: I came back for a pedicure and it is legitimately the best one I have ever had. My stilettos have survived four weeks with no lifting, cracks, lost jewels, etc. They are such high quality.

I had a pedicure and the lady was exceptionally rude to me and rushing me to get out the chair.... I have had plenty pedicures at this place but this time this lady acted like she didn’t want to do her own job. Used the same gloves to wash my feet to massage my feet when clean. Defeats the whole purpose!!!

They charged my daughter $43 for a fill and one nail fix. Her full set in NEW YORK CITY cost $40 lol i think they took advantage of her being alone and looking a lot younger than she is. Will not allow her to go back here.

My nails turned out okay. I watched my nail tech give another tech the same acrylic powder he used on my nails to another tech to use on a customer. Nail files looked used and the shop looks dingy. Poor customer service. When a customer comes in you dont just ask what they want, but you greet them first. They are spending their hard earned money. I paid FORTY DOLLARS for an acrylic overlay on my real nails no fake nails or anything. I was polite and just paid but this is steep.

Both myself and my sister-in-law went to the nail salon at the same time . The day We went in to get our nails done it was quick to get me a chair that was awesome but the lady that did my nails was very rude she kept getting aggravated and she kept grabbing at my hand and smack my hand because I wasn’t paying attention to her she would make a mistake or I will change my mind about something and she would get aggravated and you can definitely tell she was getting aggravated I told her what I wanted and she did the complete opposite I wanted my two finger nails white and she made two different nails white I made things easy with her just so that I can get out of her chair quicker. When I walked out of the salon I was not happy with my nails at all they do not look professional they look like a toddler did them she did not paint my nail full she missed a lot of spots and you can still see my natural nail. The same lady did my sister in-laws nails too she is not happy either.

Top Nails is my new favorite nail shop. It was my mother and I first time coming here and they hooked us up. Very professional, great customer service, and excellent prices. Henry was the bomb but everyone working in their does a wonderful job with your nails. I am very pleased and will be returning in 2 weeks!!!

I went to nail salon today and was overcharged for mine and my daughter nail services. I faithfully go to this salon and was never charged so much for 2 fill ins and my 2 nails to get fixed. I was charged 70 dollars, but the week before i was charged 100dollars for 2 fill ins and 2 pedicures and parrafin wax. I guess now because it is tax season they feel they can charge you whatever they want. I wont be going back there and make sure you ask for the price upfront.

I has made a appointment with another shop first but the receptionist was so rude an clueless my daughter was like nah ma you need find you somewhere else to go so she went on Instagram to find me somebody cause unfortunately my nail tech stop doing nails because of the pandemic....So she found me Alex when I get to the shop I forgot she said that they only except cash so I had to run to the atm make a long story short he is awesome i asked how much I was five short but he let me go so I got you in 2weeks..... this is my new shop...Thank-you...

My nails looked amazing, Henry was great. Unfortunately I realized the same brush that was used for my acrylics was also used on another customers toes before being brought back to be used on me. For this reason I will not be coming back, and I continue my search for a great nail artist.

I was in search of a good nail tech when I came across Bi. I have been going to him for almost a year now. Anywhere he go no matter how far I will go lol seriously. His customer service is out of this world GREAT and he/the staff makes you feel comfortable. Everyone that walks in is greeted instantly. Any nail art I come to Bi with he MASTERS it. He is very patient, gently and takes his time to ensure your nails is cared for properly. The shop is very relax, clean, and professional. All the staff does very good nails I wouldhigly recommend.

Went for a pedicure, nails were not cut down after I asked, not filed and the polish was globbed on, no uv lights or fans to dry globbed polish which led to smearing and chipping within hours!! Also, how is anyone supposed to relax when ladies are fussing about their baby daddy on speaker phone at max volume!!!! Overall terrible experience!

This was my first time coming here but definitely wont be my last. My pedicure (I didnt catch her name) was so relaxing! I then had a new set of nails put on & wanted ombré. Bi (prounounced B) did my nails. I have NEVER had someone perfect my nails the way he did. He compared every single nail (length & width). He paid so much attention to all every ounce of detail. This is honestly the best set of nails Ive ever had!

Top Nails, was purchased from Russies Nails. I have been going to Top Nails since they Purchased the Business. Everything in there is Brand New! Very clean. no odor! I go to Kate, she is very good and doesnt rush ! Very large selection of Polishs, from plain, all Gels and Mood colors! This is one of the cleanest Nail Salons that Ive to in a long time!

This was my second and pretty much my last visit. I didnt like that fact that the manager was rushing doing my nails and didnt give much attention to my nails because he was more focused on the other customers coming in. When he saw other customers come in it was as if my nails didnt matter and he wanted to rush to finish me to give other customers his undivided attention. My money spends just as well as the customers who came in after me. I tip according to my services and I just couldnt due to the rush job. Sn: my nail is also chipping and I just got them done 06/01/19. ....IN RESPONSE TO THE MANAGERS FEEDBACK: I could care less what tips mean to you. The principal is YOU RUSHED WITH MY NAILS INSTEAD OF TAKING YOUR TIME & with me QUALITY is everything! and one thing about hampton roads there are plenty of nail shops that will do the job and not RUSH! And in conclusion if the job was done right THE FIRST TIME THERE SHOULDNT BE A NEED TO RETURN UNLESS IM GETTING A FILL. You dont treat the customer that is there like they are not worthy vs someone else coming in after them GOOD DAY!

Kim did my natural nails in Gel polish and my index fingers in tips because they were broken and shorter. She was very professional, kind and she did a perfect job. The only thing I didnt care for was their habit of speaking in their native language.

I have been getting my nails done by Henry ever since he started at Anthony Vince nail and spa. When he moved into his own shop, I followed because he has always done great work. But I realized since becoming an owner, the consistency is not the same. On several occasions, I was reassign to Alex, who is a sweet person but fail to satisfy my request of design, and my nails kept on breaking within days. No Im not the type to ask about prices. I place my request, and pay whatever is quoted along with $5 tip, whether I approve or not because of time spent. But eventually I got tired of paying for shotty work so I started making my appointment with Henry for my next visit. My last visit, was no difference. He made it for July 4th because he was unavailable the Tuesday, which is the day I normally get my nails done. Call two days to confirm my appt (since it was a holiday) only to be told they will be closed. Waited 5 hours for Henry to return my call and correct this error, of which he didnt. I had to call back. He stated that I should come in at 9:30 that Friday. I did, actually showed up at 9:05 because thats who I am. Sat in my truck. When the doors open, another customer entered first. But I figure, no problem. My appt is set. 9:30 came and left. It was around 9:55 when Henry came strolling in. He recognized me, address me by name. Ask me to take a seat at his station, but was then told the other young lady came first. Now instead of speaking up and taking the opportunity to correct the wrong and my inconvenience, after explaining for the umpteenth time. He had the balls to tell me. we dont take appointments on Friday. Like WTF? Have you not wasted my time enough? The young lady ahead of me was kind enough to let me go before her, but I declined and left with my $75 which I normally pay, for nails only. Never will I ever return or recommend another person.

Kate gave me the ombre Ive always wanted! Other nail techs would tell me they could do an ombre but it would always look horrible. She gave me exactly what I wanted and was very quick without rushing. Very nice staff and clean salon. This will be my new go to spot!

This was my second time at this nail spa. My first experience was ok, however this time will be my last time! After my pedicure was completed and I was placed inder the drying lamp, the woman was very aggressive in her inquiry into if I was paying, how I was paying and if I was paying for my daughter. So much so that she yelled it across the room as if I was going ro run out of the spa with pink foam shoes and bright green seperators between my toes. Heads turned! She than stood directly over me as I was taking out the money to pay. I did NOT like this behavior. I told her I would pay at the register and I shuffled over to pay. I refused to leave the tip I would normally leave! I will not go back to that shop. My daughter was in wow of her attitude. I advise you NOT to go here unless you want everyone to think you are going to run out the door and not pay although you are sitting down where they placed you for your feet to dry! Not a happy customer!!!!!! Very rarely do I right bad reviews or tip less than $10 for anything!!!!

Note: This is the same place as Russies Nails... the store is actually called JB Nails though. Very confusing lol but great service. Im a guy though... not sure what good service is exactly at these places.
