Can I just say WOW! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home in Ivy Glam. It’s beautifully decorated, clean, the the customer service is top notch. Not to mention, the music playing truly set the mood. I made an appointment and I was a little late, but I was still quickly seen. I received the CBD jelly pedicure and an acrylic fill in with intricate nail art. David was gentle and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. My feet have never felt this soft! Ivy, the owner did my nails and she was kind as well as professional! I was offered a drink, and took the bottled water. It was nice and cold! All in all 10/10. I will definitely return every time I visit family in Virginia Beach!

I rate it as 5 stars, like my new nails. Chloe listens and made those wonderful acrylic nails. Really a worth time to spend there.

First time I was there with Juliana, got red acrylics and she did an amazing job. Second time fill with Juliana, my set was made with red acrylic powder so no matter what it was shining through and my “new” filled set was super thick. She should have taken them off completely instead. The next day I called to have them fix it. It took over an hour just to get them “off” so I decided just to do my natural short nails with gel, T did it and they were great! Third time I came to see another tech (I forgot her name but she the wife of another tech) and she also did an amazing job. I had a pedicure the same day and that was rather mediocre but since I like my gel manicure I was like ok.4th time I made an appointment for my 2 daughters (5&6 years old) for all three of us gel mani and gel pedicure. We all sat down the same time. My youngest was done by a young boy he literally finished her in 20 minutes, since he really just slapped the gel polish on without any nail care. My oldest daughter was done with a bit more care by the tech but it took sooooo long too and she was unable to keep the polish to “stick” since my daughter wanted neon yellow (white under coat etc) anyway while she was doing all that my daughter asked if she could have some glitter. I said idk let’s see what they can do. Mind you my jelly pedicure took over an hour the tech was young and was NOT thorough at all. For that long time my toes have all different shapes my skin isn’t cut all the way and the massage was very short and not even close to what other massages usually feel like. Then my nails… terrible job as you can see in the picture! She barely pushed my cuticles back barely cut around. My nails weren’t shaped equally… the polish job alone is terrible! Ok let’s move on while my daughter earlier asked for some glitter polish to be added the tech instead used weird butterfly stickers on all of her nails which is not what she wanted, as well as added some to my younger daughters nails. I think she had good intentions but it looked terrible since they were all different colored. My kids nails literally came off in 2 days as they lifted. Mine are lifting as well! Let’s come the the best part… they charged me $179 for all of that!!! A kids mani/pedi but all he did was slap on the polish! I gladly pay for services, not the problem but when I book mani pedi I mean mani/pedi and not polish color change. Over all terrible experiences as much as I love the nail salon itself cause it looks nice with the flowers and neon signs, the staff is not matching the Cali vibe this place initially gives. I will never go back and everyone else save your money! While I got my nails done the customer next to me had a nail appointment and the tech said “I gotta eat first, I’ll be right back” he literally made her wait more than 25 minutes on an appointment she had made for acrylic nails and then came back and said her appointment time won’t be enough for a new set and rushed her nail job!!! When places like this get too busy quality drastically drops cause they feel like they get customers either way! Well guess what this poor customer service and professionalism will catch up with this place very soon! Mark my words! Everyone does what they want and the owner has no control over them!

My mom and I were visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to us by my brothers girlfriend. The staff were incredibly friendly and very professional. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they did a phenomenal job with my pedicure.

Daughter got a Mani & Pedi & I got a Mimosa. I have a 4 star because they rushed through her & it shows in the polishing.

I’ve been coming to Ivy Glam Bar since I moved to town center and I’ve never been disappointed. I get my nails done by Sheila (my favorite tech) and she always delivers what I want and my nails always last till my next appt.The salon is very clean and sanitary! I’ve spoken with Ivy several times and she is always very sweet and professional! They offer walk in appointments but I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment online to secure your spot because they are busy 24/7!

If I could say anything about my experience it’s make sure that you book your appointment with Anime! She’s hilarious, takes her time, and does the damn thing. Seriously these nails are exactly what I wanted, if not better!!

Service was wonderful. I called and spoke with Ivy (who was very nice) and requested a same day appointment. I got there and was seen right away. They were following social distancing guidelines and followed the same protocol for every customer that came in. I had Julie and she was so awesome. I had been very cautious since the pandemic and to had been over a year without getting my feet pampered the way I am use to was so awesome to know there is a salon with class, style, and skilled workers right around the corner from me. I look forward to my next visit.

The vibe was amazing! The shop is beautifully decorated and the services offered are great! The nail tech I had was extremely sweet, however-- during my pedicure, I felt she could have been more gentle with my feet. My feet/ cuticles are somewhat sore the morning after the services from the excessive cutting/ filing/ shaving. I hope that this review would help the nail techs be more aware of their certain techniques.

I go to ivy glam beauty every 2weeks to get a fill in by tony he is the best nail tech that i have had im glad i found him he is fast takes his time on your nails he keeps me laughing from the time he starts on my nails from the time i finish i absolutely love him and i recommend him to my co workers and even customers thanks tony for all you do you are truly appreciated!!!

The staff is really nice and the shop is beautiful. This is my 3rd time going and my nails lift after a week. Poor quality. They don’t take the time to actually lay your nails correctly. If your looking for a service that’s actually going to last, I do not recommend you going to this shop.

I don’t normally take the time to share my experience. But this place is lovely in looks. But the most unorganized situation I have ever experienced. Even with timed appointments, they felt it was okay to seat 1 kid alone, 2 kids alone and then two adults across the salon. My daughter got the wrong color, she has never had this before so doesn’t know to speak up. After expressing my experience to the owners husband he felt it was okay to dare that experience to the owner in front of another client. I’ll be going elsewhere.

I called and booked an appointment with Anime. She sent me a confirmation text and a reminder the day of. She soaked off my old set and did an overlay with my natural nails as requested and did an AMAZING job! I showed her a pic of what I wanted and it was better than the pic! Anime provided great service and made me feel comfortable and made me laugh. I will be going to Ivy Glam Beauty Bar for now on!

Absolutely awful ! After waiting a HOUR after being told by the nail tech and the receptionist that she was wrapping up! She was literally taking forever to finish because she was talking and playing instead of finishing the ladies nails! ( and yes the lady’s nails were already painted) Then when she did get to me, instead of telling me that she could NOT do the design that I asked for she decided to proceed on and kept having to restart 5 times ! Just for my nails to still look like a 7 year old painted them. And in the middle of doing my nails she stop twice to text and laugh around! I usually don’t complain but this experience was awful. Maybe I should’ve went to a different tech but please whatever you do, do not let Erica do your nails !

This was my first time at Ivy Glam Beauty Bar. My nail tech, Anime recently started working there. I follow her wherever she goes! The atmosphere was light, airy, chic, and beautiful. I gave it 4 stars because I found it to be a little on the pricey side of things. But thats ok, the quality of work that you receive with ANIME is worth it. Seriously, if you are looking for a nail tech that is amazing, shes your girl! She is so talented and her nail art is all hand painted! Great at shaping the nails and making them look natural and perfect! I highly recommend her!

Sheila does my nails and Hellen does my pedicure. They are so professional, so good at what they do. I walk in and I just feel so welcomed with my choice of drink. The best place to have me time 10/10 totally recommend

My nails fell off after a day

So boom, I normally go to her brothers shop but due to “inclement weather” they were closed. I went on yelp and called multiple nail salons until I ran across Ivys shop and saw that it was reviewed at 5 stars! I called and she told me to come in... WHEN I PULLED UP I THOUGHT I WAS IN HEAVEN! The shop was soooo pink and beautiful I absolutely adored the decor and she offers complimentary drinks! I had a mimosa while I was getting my nails done and I was extremely happy. I got a fill and two nail replacements for $43! she was so amazing and nice and I’m definitely coming back... I love it there !

When you walk into My Glam Beauty Bar you feel special and that is just how they make you feel from the beautiful decor to the champagne, wines and mimosas they serve. My Granddaughter took me there for my birthday to have a gel mani/pedi, I had the lavender gel that they soaked my feet in and I have never had my feet pampered like that before. This was the first time I had a manicure on my own nails where they clean my cuticles like I had acrylic nails on. I look forward to my next visit. I took a half a dozen business cards and handed them out to my friends, next time I will take a lot more. Thank you Ladies for a wonderful experience.

Ivy Glam is very client centered and truly care about dooing quality work, not just putting on the paint and getting people out of the door.
