Girls weekend and we decided to get pedicures while away from home!! Able to make an appointment for the afternoon and we got there a little early and there was no one there so they took us right away!! Henry was so great at sharing tips about the area and we really enjoyed the time to relax and be pampered before returning home tomorrow!! I also tore one of my nails and they quickly glued it and no need to repaint the one mail!! We were so HAPPY we tried this salon and would definitely recommend to anyone on vacation looking for a little pampering!!

It was fine nothing special. Got a regular mani pedi with paraffin but the attention to detail was lacking because of the polish coverage. Towels and paraffin were way too hot and paraffin was not set to dry enough. But the staff was nice and the massage/scrub was relaxing. Photos taken upon arriving home from the shop I didn’t even have to wait for it to chipUpdate: the polish started peeling off in one unit less than 48 hours. Obviously the undercoat and/or top coat did not cover all the nail

I have been a client of Lily’s for over 1 year. She is professional, on time and a pleasure to be around. My nails look amazing and last beautifully until the next scheduled visit! They do not chip and/or crack and I get so many compliments. I always refer them to Lily …as I know she is the best and will always do an excellent job!

Nail Spa 1 is by far my favorite salon around town! I never have any issues getting seen, what I ask for is always done at top notch quality, and the overall experience is comfortable and welcome.

I just moved to the area, and I read the reviews for a few nail places before deciding to come here. Im glad I did. I got a full set, and the nail tech did it with great attention to detail. My nails look fantastic. Unfortunately, I did not think to bring cash for a tip, and you dont have the option to include it on your card, so next time I go I will be leaving a big tip to make up for it.

I LOVE Nail Spa 1!!! Lily & Henry and their entire staff are AMAZING! They are professional, take their time, and always make sure I am beyond satisfied with their service! Before coming to Nail Spa 1, I jumped around from place to place...never finding someone that I really liked to do my manicure/pedicure. After many years of searching...I finally found the ONLY place that I enjoy going and trust will do fabulous work! Was visiting from California and came here for the first time. I loved it. They do a great job, are super nice and it was nice to have good, fun conversation while sitting there. Lily even gave me a restaurant suggestion for where I live! Shes great and only laughed at me when I wrecked 2 toes so shes got a good sense of humor. This will be my new place to come when I visit.

This is the best nail shop in Hampton Roads. I have been going to the shop for my acrylic nails and pedicures for over 5 years. The shop is very clean and comfortable and the prices are super reasonable. I always get exactly what I ask for and they always take their time. I recommend this place to everyone, they are wonderful!

I always get my nails done here. They are the best and really work at making your feet feel wonderful. Im ruff and they put on an extra top coat and do not charge extra. Very good job.

I got gel polish on my nails. There was sand from the filer in the polish. I had to point it out several times in several nails. She took a clipper at first to “cut”the sand out and then proceeded to paint over the cut part of the polish. After several attempts she finally took the polish off, as I recommended, and started again. I mentioned that after she filed my nails she didn’t tell me to wash my hands so there was sand from the filer all over my hands and that I needed to wash my hands. She was super sweet and worked on every nail to fix it. I was there longer than I had anticipated.

A truly dangerous place! The SUNRISE. Sister businesses apparently. The one lady manager almost blinded me by incorrect removal of the bad lash extensions SHE gave me. They were too thick and the glue was all on my skin! She used acetone (remover the doc said it was), and I had to go to an eye doctor!!! She was also very nonchalant about the whole matter! I was fortunate I could see a week later, but still need a follow up with the eye doctor, March 2018. Buyer beware!!!!!!She even had the nerve to point out NO REFUNDS her boss said. This business is lucky I dont sue for the horror of it all alone.Im just blessed I can see!

Pedicures, nails and facial wax are my services at this location. The staff is very personable and accommodating. I usually go late after work and they are always available when I walk in. I highly recommend these professionals. Shelby

Love this nail salon. It’s the only place I’ll go for my pedicures and shellac. Lilly is awesome and is very accommodating with my crazy schedule. She goes above and beyond and I am grateful for that.

The owners are so nice and welcoming every time I come in! Offer water and always ask how I am doing and put in a great effort on my nails. Always enjoy coming in.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was very dirty, the nail tech was pushy and rushing me to pick a color, and then the gel polish that was painted on my nails looked nothing like the color I chose. Both my sister and I ended up repainting both our hands and toes when we got home because the colors looked nothing like what we chose. Very disappointed and a massive waste of money. Warning - avoid this place. The women working are nice, but that doesnt help when my nails look amateur.

Worst job ever at the Lynnhaven Road location of this business. Asked for a basic manicure with clear polish. Was in chair total of 19 minutes - used COLD water to soak my nails in, roughed my nails with a coarse file, did not finish them, used a buffer on my nails instead of polishing them with clear like I asked and then CHARGED me an extra $5 for the buffing and tried to tell me it was better and would last longer - left the station times and checked his computer at another station. I literally had to file rough edges off my nails when I got out of there before I could go to work! Awful experience!!!!!

Very accomodating, owner waited for us even though they were closed. Alot of fun. Lily the owner, did my toes and they felt brand new. Been to a lot of shops that made you feel rushed, very relaxing. Dont hesitate!

Never again! Although this is not the place I usually go to, I decided to give them a try because they are closer to my home. I went to a guy that I was told by another client while there that he was new, which was not a problem. However, while doing my nail he had one of my nails crooked. After showing him/telling him, he catches a attitude and tell me that my actual nail is crooked. Typical excuse! Lies! I think I would know if my actual nail bed was crooked, being that I had these same hands/nails all my life. But ok, he tries to fix. After applying more and more acrylic and file the nail he finally get it straightened. Less than a week later I noticed I had a whole nail that just came off, the whole nail(the same crooked nail). Remind u I just got a fill less than 7days ago. So I went back, and of course, they take no blame. I even showed her the other nails that was separating from the acrylic. Not only does she argues the fact that its just the nail itself but also says to me that I need another fill. It took everything in my power not to get upset. Had I known that ur acrylic does not last longer than 1week, I wouldve never stepped foot in that establishment to waist my money. Not only was I disgusted by the lack of care and respect but also at the fact that these people, and I mean these people of different countries who have nail salons in America who customer base is American people which whom speak English, however, they choose to talk there language while ur getting a service from them, and not agreeing with the service theyre providing you. Clearly I was being talked about right in my face! Point is, they charged me anyway, and I paid to keep the confusion down. However, I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK! AND I advise anyone who is reading this to pick another salon! Simply, If they dont respect there clients as well as stand by there work, than the DONT deserve your money!

Excellent pedicures, great service, very nice and pleasant staff and super accommodating wirh scheduling appointments.

My gel manicure lasted 3 weeks without a chip. That never happens with a manicure I get at home. I will be back whenever I am visiting!

The girl that I usually see has left the place. I had a pedi and mani. This is the first place that I didnt get a massage during my manicure. Not impressed

He did not soak my nails, remove the cuticle skin, no cuticle oil, no lotion, no massage. My nails looked terrible. I will not be going back. There are too many nail salons around for that.
