Brooke is a wonderful manager. She made moving in a simple and fast process. Every time I go in the office I am met with a smile and friendly help. The apartments are pretty nice, just slightly outdate, but very clean! The only thing that I would really say is a negative is that there is only one refrigerator. The private rooms are great! Overall have had a good experience so far.
I love living here. I have been here for about three years now and I don’t regret it. The rent is affordable, you are close to campus, you get your own room, and management is great. The only down side is the leases fill up fast so plan ahead of time if you want to live here.
Pretty Ok place. I am pretty happy here but it took them like 9 hours to fix the WIFI when it went down. We had called the internet provider and they said it was an easy fix. The WIFI went down around 3pm and didnt get fixed till at least 9 am the next day
I’ve been here for 2 years and I have to say that there are so many good qualities! Not only do you have your own room but there is only 4 people per apartment. I usually have roommates who keep to themselves. I have an ESA named Sam who I love and they have ALWAYS treated him so kindly. Recently they have been changing managers a ton but not to worry- the manager in charge now is AWESOME! We have amazing management here! Also the ward is awesome and our bishop is the most understanding man you will ever meet. The only bad thing I have to say about autumn winds- THE ONLY THING is that the lighting in the kitchen kind of sucks. And if that’s the worst thing I gotta say- then you know how awesome it is!
Only plus to this complex is the private rooms. Honestly not worth the outrageous amount you pay. We have mold growing in our bathroom and rooms and they won’t do anything about it. They sprayed it once with bleach and that’s it. WiFi is constantly out so you can never do your homework at home. Carpet is coming up all over apartment and bunched up. They also don’t plow or take care of the sidewalks and it’s just a giant ice skating rink during the winter. All the furnishings need to be replaced because they are nasty and coming apart ex mattresses and couch. My apartment clearly was not cleaned either when I moved in in the fall. Left over items in fridge, soap all over the washer, stains in the toilet you name it.
I am really enjoying living here!! The complex is very close to campus, has private rooms but still has a pretty spacious living room and kitchen. Managers are very nice and easy to talk to. If you ever need a place to live in Rexburg, I really recommend you to live here :)
I was never able to live here because of the pandemic going on, but Autumn Winds really helped out with getting my contract sold. They were always on top of my requests.
The apartments at Autumn Winds are almost perfect in every way. The floor plans are ideal; all private bedrooms with only three roommates, and 2 bathrooms, both with double sinks so you all have your own personal space. I love how the living room is separate from the kitchen so you have a sense of privacy. The hallway door is super nice so you can shut off all the noise from the front of the apartment when youre trying to get work done or sleep. The location is amazing for Bio/Psych/Hort/Engineering/Math majors, just about 5 minutes from the STC, 7 from the Benson and 9 to the Ricks! The manager is amazing! The only downside is the price, its up there with the most expensive in town.
Autumn Winds is a pretty great place to live. This was my first year at college and I have loved living here! Our manager is very nice and is easy to get a hold of when needed. The having just the four of us living together has been really great. The rooms are just the right size for me and it is nice having two bathrooms to share 😊 It is really close to campus, which is super convenient for me. Everyone is respectful of the Honor Code and is mindful of their neighbors. Plus, the ward is amazing! Overall, I have really enjoyed living here and hope to live here again!
Great apartments. All have been recently updated. They are spacious and have plenty of room for all of my stuff! I lived here during the COVID outbreak and the Manager, Jodie, handled everything with such care. Things were naturally hectic but she remained calm, collected, and in control the whole time. She is always quick to respond to my texts and goes out of her way to meet my needs. She even babysat my plants while I was away!!What I love about the apartments: Each room has its own thermostat. The beds lift if you need more storage underneath. Big closets/rooms. There is a TV with Roku. There is a dishwasher, lots of cabinets, a pantry, in apt washer/dryer, and 2 bathrooms and vanities for the 4 girls! Great girls! Next to campus and Walmart shuttle. Check it out :)
Good location. I like how its in the center of campus, makes getting to class quicker. Nice parking lot, plenty of space. You only have 3 roommates which I absolutely love! It stays cleaner and is not crowded. The living room, kitchen, bathrooms and rooms are good size. It feels like a home. Theres a hallway door to block noise from the living area, which has been very nice. I love having my own space to study. The only thing I dont like is the price. Im no expert at maintaining an apartment complex, but with 4 people per apartment, each bringing in $1,345 a semester, I feel overcharged. And a $50 fee for parking doesnt make sense to me (especially that its that price in the summer weeks as well, when that is not nearly the amount of time a whole semester is, but they still charge you $50)
I love living here! It’s in a great location and it’s a smaller complex, which I really like. The manager is awesome too.
If you are a BYUI student looking for housing that’s close to campus, with a private bedroom, and only a few roommates, Autumn Winds is the perfect fit for you! Utilities are included in the rent pricing. A Washer and dryer are included. There’s plenty of space for storage, & our housing manager Ashlie is super awesome & helpful!!
I like Autumn Winds. The renovations they have done make the place nicer. I like that they have a large parking lot and private rooms. I also like that the living room is separate from the kitchen. The manager is very nice and I appreciate her willingness to help. The television is not my favorite. Sometimes, when flipping channels the televisions volume will stop working but thats okay. Overall, a good place!
This is my second semester here at West Winds and I loved it! The private rooms are very nice and with the recent renovations the apartment is up to date. The complex is very quite and I have never had a problem with noise. It is close to campus and is an overall great place to live. I highly recommend!
Great place to live! They have great management and maintenance crew! It’s a fun social atmosphere.
This is also my first semester living at the Autumn Winds Apts and I love it! It is right next to campus so its in a convenient distance from my classes. All of Autumn Winds apartments are in the same ward so its easy to get to know people. Theres plenty of space in each apt and room. One of my favorite things is the space in kitchen-- Theres a pantry and cabinet space for each roommate. You have your own room which is nice for people who want privacy. The people in the ward are not very social but what can you expect from an apt that offers private rooms. Everything about the apartment itself is great. The manager is really fun and easy to get along with and shes always available if you have any questions or concerns
I have lived here since my first semester (back in 2014), and have loved it ever since. My favorite thing about these apartments are how homey they feel-- I have visited other apartments here and they seem too flashy or too much like a hotel room, whereas this gives you a sense of a home away from home. The private rooms are a great size with plenty of space. You only get three other roommates-- which is one of the things I wanted from the beginning. There are two, good sized bathrooms with two individual sinks each, which is nice. This whole space is a good size with lots of spaces to store things. Its also in a nice area where its not too far from campus but far enough that you dont have to deal with all the noise and craziness. Management is super kind and understanding. The only downside I have really had was the maintenance-- they dont always get to you when you hope they will.P.S. the ward is THE BEST!
This is my first semester in West Winds and Im loving it. The manger is really nice and helpful. It is an apartment for 4 with 4 private bedrooms so that gives you enough privacy. One thing that can be improved may be maintenance. Sometimes it takes a while to get something fixed. But overall it is a good place to live.
This is my first semester at Autumn Winds. There’s a parking spot for every attendant. This is nice because I know there will always be a place for me to park in the parking lot. The apartment is nice. It is a convenient distance from campus. Each room in the apartment has its own thermostat. This includes bedrooms which I find to be great as I can set the temperature in my room to however hot or cold I would like it to be to best comfort me. The manager is very kind, and really good at answering questions. After talking with her I found out that there is access to a pool, hot tub, tanning booth, and work out room. All I had to do was ask for a key and return it as soon as possible. This is a lovely place to live while studying as I will be residing here next Semester.
Private bedrooms! Need I say more? I took time off school, and returned to live at autumn winds again. I love that there are only four people, and there is tons of storage space. Management is awesome. The kitchen and living areas are large and great for big groups or multiple groups of friends. I would recommend this complex to everyone!
It is my first semester here at Autumn Winds and so far its been great! My favorite thing about this apartment is its layout: There is a large living room separate from the kitchen (which gives more room for having guests over) and I also appreciate the large kitchen and having a kitchen table. The private bedrooms are so great! I LOVE only having four to an apartment and there are still two bathrooms so you only have to share with one other person.
I have loved living at Autumn Winds. I love the homey feeling it has. Its one of the only apartments around that has 4 to an apartment, which makes a big difference, and each person gets their own room. I have also found that they people these apartments attract are always super nice and friendly. I have rarely had any conflict with any roommates while living here. Its a more quit complex because most people dont know about it. The one that do know about it, have stayed here from multiple semesters in a row. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
I chose Autumn Winds because I would have my own room. Ive stayed at Autumn Winds because it is just a wonderful apartment complex. Autumn Winds deserves five stars for a number of reasons:Management has always been extremely helpful. Our microwave broke so we called the office and they had it replaced before the end of the week. They are quick to assist the patrons, and I like that.Another great reason is that there is always a place to park. The last apartment complex I lived in sold too many passes and I often found myself booted because I could never park. But Autumn winds has a large parking lot and does not sell out of spaces. I always find a place to keep my car from being booted.Everyone at Autumn winds is nice. Both the management and the patrons have always been kind and respectful. We also have a great ward with a wonderful Bishopric.Ive been saying at Autumn winds for three semesters now, and I do not want to switch complexes. I really like it here and I would like to spend the rest of my college Career at Autumn winds.
I really like autumn winds. Ive never had any problems with management and maintenance always gets things done pretty quick. I love having my own room and the ward is great too! There are a lot of good people here and there is a lot of space. The only thing I dont like about the apartment is that you can hear pretty much everything from everywhere. Other than that I love it!
I LOVE living in Autumn Winds Apartments. They are very homey and no matter what semester it is, its always a great environment to meet friends. The private rooms and only sharing one bathroom is amazing! Its one of the major things keeping me here. The manager is amazing and so easy to work with whenever there is an issue. It could use a little work on being up to date with flooring and the kitchen, but other than that its home away from home.
I absolutely love this place. Kylie, our manager, is legit the best. She cares about all of the people that is over. She is willing to help you with anything if it is from roommate problems to personal problems. This is a great place if you like your own room and like having tons of opportunities to meet new people. Also, you only have 3 roommates so perfect amount of people.
I have lived in each girl apartment building here and have loved each one. You have a private room with your own sink. Only two girls share a bathroom and only 4 share the apartment (And fridge if you pick up what I am putting down!). There is a huge living room and kitchen. Both managers that I have had while living here rock! The wards have only been good while I have lived here. Plus each room has there own thermostat so no more roommates freezing you out in the winter. I highly recommend living here.
This is my first semester living in Autumn Winds, and I think it is a great place to live. I love how I have my own room and how there is plenty of space for all four roommates. The manager is very outgoing and is willing to help out with whatever you need. There have not been any issues with the living conditions, and I am sure that this will continue. I also have not had any problems with getting in contact with the maintenance man. The apartment is fairly old, but it is still in great shape. Altogether, Autumn Winds has been an enjoyable place for me to live, so I encourage anyone else searching for apartments to look into Autumn Winds.
I’ve only lived here for one semester but so far I like it. I think truly it’s more about the roommates than the place you live, but the manager is super kind and helpful. The only reason I’m not giving 5/5 stars is the price to not have to move out between semesters even when no one will be living in the space and you will be back in the exact same apartment the next semester and room, is ridiculous but otherwise it’s a nice place.
I definitely love the private bedrooms so there are no conflicts with different sleeping schedules with a roommate. The location of it is perfectly close to campus to walk. The building I live in is currently not renovated, whereas the rest of the buildings in the apartment complex are, but its not extremely different or bad. Every room has a personal heater so the apartment stays nice and warm during the winter time. Im planning on staying for another semester.
I have always loved living her at autumn winds. I am a little bias because its the only apartments I have lived in. But its really close to campus which is amazing. You have your own bedroom and your own sink and share a bathroom with one other person. As you have read in so many other reviews :) the only thing that I would love is upgraded appliances to replace the ones that seem to be falling apart but its better then nothing I guess. All in all I love autumn winds!!!
I have lived in Autumn Winds for six semesters now. There are 4 private bedrooms with good closet space and places to put your totes and other belongings during break times. Also, there are two bathrooms and it is only two to a bathroom. The living room and kitchen are a great size. If you are looking for benefits of living at Autumn Winds I will have to say: the apartments are really close to campus (Taylor building) which is nice if you have early classes, the maintenance staff are there to help, private room makes a good study place, and lastly though the apartments are older they are still a good place to live & things work. The only disadvantage is that it does not have AC and it can get hot.
Ive really enjoyed my experience here at autumn winds. It has a really great location; it is pretty much right across the street from campus. Ive enjoyed having a private room. It makes studying so much easier and sharing a bathroom with only one other person is so nice. The ward is really nice. Its really easy to make friends. Oh and the manager Madi Wright is really kind an accommodating.
This apartment complex is perfect for those who want a private room. The apartments are clean and comfortable with enough storage space to go around. I personally live in one of the newly renovated ones and am loving having a washer and dryer in the apartment.
Great Sized private bedrooms, you get your own sink and there are only 4 girls in each apartment. It is still social, but you have your own space to do homework, think or relax. Great location to campus!! The manager is AWESOME!! Super willing to work with you and very friendly!
Autumn Winds is awesome!! This is my first semester living here, and I have enjoyed every second of it. The manager is always willing to help, the apartments are updated and nice, and you get your own private room! I would definitely recommend living here.
Autumn winds is a great place to live, especially with the new renovations. Management is nice, and happy to help where ever possible. Its great having your own room, and there is plenty of space for everyone within the apartment. While it may not be the newest place, it definitely keeps a homey atmosphere.
This is my first semester living here at Autumn Winds and I love it! The newly renovated apartments are great! Clean, updated and have laundry in the unit. Not to mention the management is super nice and helpful!
I lived here for two semesters and loved it. A great place to live. Right next to campus, only about a 5-10 minute walk. The apartments are nice with private bedrooms. That was a huge bonus as it allowed me to have some peace and quiet to do homework or just relax. The kitchen is spacious, although it would be nice if there were two fridges instead of one. The bedrooms are good sized with lots of storage. Big closet and storage shelves underneath the bed as well. Bathrooms were nice as they had two sinks and plenty of storage space under the sink too. Overall this is a great place to live.
Its great here! Wonderful management, you get your own room, and its a great place to have friend gatherings. The kitchens are really big, so it is perfect for people who love to cooks. There are tables in the bedrooms that are great when you want to do homework. Its just a phenomenal place.
I have lived at Autumns Winds for that past two years and I have really enjoyed it. Private bedrooms are nice for studying or quiet time. Nice location next to campus and stores. Walking distance to almost everything. The management it very nice and willing to work with you on whatever you may need. I would definitely recommend living here if attending school at BYU-I.
I have had such a fantastic time and experience at Autumn Winds. The manager, Madi Wright, is very helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have. I would also highly recommend this to anyone travelling here from a different country who may not have a lot of connections in the area, as the community are absolutely friendly and inviting to all. Autumn Winds is very accommodating and there are so many advantages such as getting your own private bedroom, being in a great ward and just living within walking distance from the school! I would definitely choose to live here again.
I love having my own room because it allows for great studying time when I need to study. The property manager Madi and her family are awesome! She has always responded back to any questions I have had and plans events for us an apartment complex to mix and mingle. Besides the great atmosphere felt here, youre close enough to the campus where you can still be a part of the campus life but also be out of it if you want. I would recommend Autumn/West Winds apartments to anyone who wants to have a great college experience on and off campus!
West winds is an older building but Madi, the manager, and the maintenance staff stay on top of things and are always more than willing to help when you let them know. Having a personal room is great. The ward is amazing and its close to campus. Overall its been a great place to live.
This is my fifth semester living at Autumn Winds. Ive lived here the entire time Ive been a student, and its been great. Its close to campus. I love that they have private rooms. There are only four people per apartment, and only two people share each bathroom, so theres plenty of space to live. There is laundry on-site and the cost is included with rent. There always seems to be plenty of parking. Madi, the manager, is helpful, understanding, and friendly. I would recommend Autumn Winds to anybody, especially people who need their own space.
Autumn Winds has great storage, an amazing ward, and excellent people around! The apartment itself needs a little updating, but luckily it will be by fall! I will definitely come back here next winter/spring!
I enjoy Autumn Winds! The re-renovated ones give it a more home like feel and a very fresh feeling. Management is great as well, theyre willing to work with the individual!
I love everything about here, free laundry, huge parking lot, 4 individual rooms with two bathrooms, it almost like a paradise. Manager is super nice too. The only set back is the internet, its not as stable as we like it (not to mention speed). But generally I think this is one of the better place to stay at.
I love having a private room and sharing a bathroom with only one other girl! Plus, theres a ton of storage space. Its a great place to live, it just hasnt been renovated.
This is my first semester living at autumn winds and I have loved it so far! The girls are great, the manager is amazing, and the private rooms are the best! If your looking to meet great people and have an awesome living experience this is the place to go :)
Autumn winds is amazing it has 4 private bedroom and 2 bathrooms. It is in a great location within walking distance to almost everywhere! best part is the people that are there it is a great place to live!
Large single room apartments. Thats what makes them nice. The ward is great. They are more expense than other and there is not ac- so staying in them spring isnt so fun.
I enjoy living at West Winds. The complex manager does a great job at working with the students. The apartments are a decent and the private rooms are great for when you need to go to sleep but your other roommates are still up.
This is my second semester at Autumn Winds and It is an amazing place to be. There are private rooms and also a washer and dryer in the apartments! The apartment manager is super nice and is easy to get ahold of!
Autumn Winds is amazing! Great environment and relatively close to anywhere on campus! Management is fantastic and always addresses any issues immediately. Its an awesome choice!!
Love the property and location. The maintenance isnt the best. They take forever to get back to you and they show up unannounced, which is a pain.
I love Autumn Winds! Having your own private room is so nice! Also you only live with 3 others so the apartment stays a lot cleaner and have lots of space! The ward is so much fun and such a blast to be in! Madi the manager is seriously thee best around so sweet and willing to work with you! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live at BYUI. YOU WONT REGRET IT!! :)
By far the best apartments I’ve stayed in at BYUI. They have tons of space, they’re well up to date (aside from the bathrooms, which is why I gave 4 stars), and the manager is awesome. It’s close to campus, there isn’t much noise. It’s teally everything you could want in a college apartment.
To me location is Important among other things. I love the fact that Its close to campus, lots of space, good management and above all private bedrooms.
The atmosphere here is really great, it feels like home. I love the private bedrooms and sharing a bathroom with only one other girl. I love Autumn Winds!
Autumn Winds is great! I love only having 4 people in each apartment! Its close to campus and is a good sized apartment! They keep me coming back!
Private rooms and sharing a bathroom with only one other person have kept me at Autumn Winds for multiple semesters! Our manager is the absolute best and she makes everyone feel at home. We also have an amazing ward. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is the outdated and fairly damaged apartments with no signs of upgrades in the near future. Rexburg Housing (the main office) can also be a bit of a headache when you have to deal with them directly. I normally try to go through my manager when I can.
Autumn Winds is amazing. Youll be extremely close to campus. Youll only have three roommates. Youll only have to share a bathroom with one other girl, AND you get a private bedroom. What could be better? Oh, also... the wards are great and the manager, Madi, is AWESOME. :)
I live on the opposite side of town, and Ive just been kept awake against my will by some wild party that Autumn Winds claims to have a permit to host. Do they have a permit? Yes. Does that permit give them the right to play music so loud I can hear it all the way over on the other side of town until 11:20pm? NO. If I had the ability to do so I would sue Autumn Winds and I would sue the City of Rexburg for violating my rights to be able to sleep past 10pm.
Great place to live. Ive lived here for three semesters now and I love the experience. Clean private rooms, free internet, and reliable management. I highly recommend!
I absolutely love having a private bedroom here! The apartments have etons of room and the ward is amazing! I love autumn winds! Plus, the manager is the best!
Staying at Autumn Winds was so fun! I loved the private room and only 3 other roommates! Super nice neighbors all around and amazing manager!
Been the best place to live so far!
Great price, great location, private bedrooms, and management is always helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend!
It’s really sad how much you pay for these apartments and they are so run down. It’s one of the most expensive approved housing complexes, and probably the most unkept place. There are tons of other apartment complexes that offer private rooms that are cheaper than this, and much nicer. I would recommend Milano Flats, Brighton apartments, or Shelbourn. This is my sixth semester and I feel like a really got scammed with this place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
The thing is, you could live anywhere in Rexburg. But Autumn Winds has a friendly atmosphere and a homey-ness to it that other complexes lack. And dont even get me started on the manager- she cares deeply for all the tenants and works hard to make this the best place possible. Also, private rooms and your own sink... what more can I say?! Perfection.
Ive lived at four BYUI-Apartments, and Autumn Winds is definitely the most chill. If you want a small, out of the way apartment complex that attracts people who are who are generally quiet, mind their own business, and like their own space, youll probably really like it.Pros:Quiet people who are easy to live withFriendly, effective managementPlenty of spaceCons:Maintenance crew is slow to respond and have produced less than impressive resultsBuilding is older than many apartment complexes in Rexburg and it shows (flooring coming up, scratched furniture, etc.)Apartments are very dusty for some reasonOverall, Ive had a good experience here, mostly because of the people. Roommates can make or break your semester, and Ive found them to be respectful and fun, which brightens every day--even if the apartment itself isnt gleaming and new.
I really love living here, love the management, the only problem is the kitchen appliances and the bathtub clogging. They need to updated, theyre old, they break/dont work. If those were fixed this would be the perfect apartment
This is a great place to live! Not too far from campus, your own bedroom, not too many roommates, Kylie the manager is really nice and understanding, the only thing that I do not appreciate is the cost for the semester.
I love it here. Great ward, and amazing people. My first semester here at BYUI and I love Autumn Winds. It just needs to be remodeled.
Do not live here!!! It is a depressing place to live, and even if you have a roommate move out five days before the end of the semester you still have to clean for them. It is a terrible place to live. They have no AC and it is really over priced.
Ive moved a couple of times around Rexburg and the reason why Im staying at West Winds is because this is by far the best place Ive lived in so far, it has private rooms, they just remodeled them so the place is nice and the management is the best!!
Absolutely love living here! Private bedrooms, half a bathroom for yourself, and amazing management! Wouldnt want to live anywhere else!!
Very homey. Adequate space. Fantastic ward and neighbors. Nice feel overall.
This is my first year at BYU-I and i was super nervous. I came in not knowing a single soul! Pretty scary. All my roommates are awesome! We love our apartment!I have a TON of clothes i came up with 5 giant suitcases full of clothes. I was worried that my stuff wouldnt fit but the closets are HUGE! i could have brought another suitcase and still have room! I love having a private room. It allows me to close myself off to do homework or talk to my family on the phone. The kitchen is fairly large with tons of storage.Bedroom:HUGE closet with clothing rack and top shelfdesk with chair ( i never use it)Huge storage space under bed with 3 large drawers and 2 cubbies by the head of the bed.enough room to have party of one dance partiesBathroom:basic bathroom2 sinks3 drawers and 2 under cabinetsbasic shower tub and toiletKitchen:basic applianceslarge tableLiving Area:large couchLarge Love seattable endstv and counsel with loads of storageThis is pretty much the best place ever to live!!!
I love the location, the private rooms, the management, and the friends I have here. This is my 5th semester, and I have lived at Autumn Winds since my 1st semester--I dont see me moving anytime soon!
I wouldnt want to live anywhere else, I love Autumn Winds. Its my home away from home:)
Overall this place is everything one could want from an apartment, private rooms, recently remodeled, in house washer dryer. However because this apartment uses optix internet I cant recommend it, you can see from my screenshot that the internet is extremely slow. However this is a problem that is happening all over Rexburg. I honestly dont understand why Rexburg housing hasnt switched providers.
I have lived here for two semesters now (about 8 months/September to April) and I just love living here. Managment is great, people are amazing, and the apartment are great. What sold me on living here was the private bedrooms. I love people but I do like my space so having my own room is great. The apartment has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a kitchen and living room which makes a lot of room for you to live in. Big thing to know is that there isnt any A/C but it was fine for me since Im not here during the time when you need it (end of April thru August). There is heat so I was fine but it is heated ceilings. Even though its like that, your room will warm up I promise. There is plenty of parking so you never have to worry about not getting a spot.I love that the apartment is so close to campus. I am a Auto major so I have all my classes in the Austin building and that is a 5 minute walk from the apartment so I was always close to getting home.I have never not felt safe living here. Rexburg is very safe so you dont have to worry about crime. Now it does happen but that is very rare to happen, not everywhere is safe.Maintenance is great. I only had one problem with them coming to fix the drain (took them over a month to come look at it) but they came by and fixed it. Other than that they are normally very good with responding to getting things fixed. All in all this is a very good place to live. It is my home away from home and I love it here. I will be returning to live here when I return to school. I promise you that you will not regret living here.
Ive lived all over rexburg and by far Autumn winds is my favorite. It is a close walk to campus, it only takes me 10 minutes to get to my class in the Benson building. The rooms are big and come with huge closets! The apartments are very comfortable (big living room!) and come with lots of storage . I especially love the manager and maintenance guys .The manager, Madi, is absolutely wonderful and you can tell that she really cares about us . If something went wrong, she would have maintenance at our door within 24 ours of filing the maintenance request . Even for something silly like not knowing how to work the tv! Autumn winds, out of all the rexburg housing i have lived in, exceeded my expectations, and i will 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live and call home.
I first picked Autumn Winds because I get my own private bedroom. But its location is also a big factor in my desicion here. Its the perfect distance between the campus and the broulims grocery store. The appartments are all similar and unique but homey and sweet. Plus we got flat screen tvs this semester! Theyre awesome for PLL parties.
Management needs to get better. Apartments arent cleaned very well between semesters.
The new manager wasnt helpful and problem solving, they wouldnt care if you have to park your car couple blocks away from where you live. They only know how to send e-mail to you and rush you to renew contract
Pros:- Private rooms for BYU Idaho students- Only about a block away from the west side of campus- Plenty of parking spaces- Friendly and helpful manager and maintenance staff- New fiber optic internet is SUPER fast (I say this as an online gamer)!- Lots of storage space in the apartment- Very good water pressure and very hot water- On-site laundry, which is free for residents- Resident Rewards card, which provides discounts for local buisnesses- Great LDS ward.- Walking distance of a Subway, Taco Time, Jimmy Johns and several other businesses.Cons:- No air conditioning- TV is at least 15 years old, no DVD or Blu-Ray player.- Couches and carpets are old and should be replaced.- TV cable is very limited in channels and quality- Rent is a bit spendy (1245 for a semester), but worth it.Detailed Review:I lived at West Winds for 7 semesters, or almost 4 years. Its a great place to live. Each apartment has four bedrooms and two baths. The bedrooms are standard in size and come with a twin mattresses and the bed has 4 storage units underneath. The rooms also have a desk and a closet. The bathroom sinks are outside of the bathrooms are having plenty of storage. The water can get very hot and has a ton of pressure. The kitchen is decent and comes with a fridge, stove and dishwasher. The pantry is fairly large and has room for everyone to store their food. The kitchen has an over abundance of cabinets. The living room has two couches and a TV for the 90s. The couches are old and kind of uncomfortable and the rugs are getting old. They probably should be replaced. Its a great place to live, overall and the fact that its completely booked almost a year in advance says something about the quality of West Winds.
