My nails are absolutely beautiful! Jen is amazing and I recommend her!! Anytime I come I enjoy the conversation and how respectful everyone is. I will warn you, if you do not go early, or have an appointment you will probably have to wait. Its worth it though.

I have tried so many nail salons and always end up coming back to Orchid. I love it and have never been disappointed. Its always so clean and they have such friendly staff.

I went here because of the reviews and a friend recommended the place. worst experience ever. the guy(didn’t catch his name) had his phone on the whole time listening to music. only talked to me when he needed to about my nails. the way he removed my previous set was skin crawling. he used nail clipped to lift it enough to put a tip to slide under my nails and peel them off of me. he ruined all of my naturally nail that i had been growing out. most of them split right down the middle. he seemed to be in a rush. i am not happy with how they look with the design and my nails are in pain because of how he removed my last set. i want a refund. i paid $70 and i’m not happy.

Not only did I just completely hate how my nails turned out, but the owner who did my nails was incredibly rude to me throughout the entire process. I was rushed when it comes to my questions about the colors of the dip and it seemed like he wanted me out of there the minute I sat down. I already get extremely anxious at the nail salon and this didn’t help. When doing my nails he would shake my hands and even slapped my hand to relax at one point, multiple times my hands were thrown against the plexi glass barrier and I finally said “ow” and he apologized. The worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done, will never be back and after telling multiple friends about my experience they too vouched how they hated their nails and they didn’t last from this place.

It was supposed to be $60, but because I used gel, it was $100. EVEN THOUGH I BROUGHT MY OWN POLISH. After leaving I looked at my toe nail that is acrylic and it looks like this. Absolutely horrible job.

I love Orchid Nail - the service is always excellent, and my feet look so much better after they work on them. Try the Orchid pedicure. It is truly luxurious and makes your feet so soft. I get shellac, which usually lasts for several weeks. It is well worth the money.

They do not specialize in acrylic nails they only have 2 colors pink and whiteMy nails came out uneven and lumpy. Some nails had a thin layer and others a thick layer. The owner started out speaking to us professionally and when I asked him what color powders he had he became irate with me. The nail tech didnt know what she was doing at all she should stick to pedicures.I asked for a nail clipper to cut the unfinished job off and they refused.Dont get me wrong there was 1 nail tech there that had a clue but they didnt allow her to do my nails. But if Im paying for my nails to be done I expect that they be done right.Not lumpy, not uneven, not having product under the nail, not evenly painted, not speaking about me in Vietnamese as if I dont have Google translate and thats the type of service I had. I feel discriminated in all ways and Id never recommend this salon.

I got my eyebrows waxed here today and she burned me. She didn’t let the wax cool at all and I told her it was too hot and she just kept using it without letting it cool. It ripped off at least two layers of skin and is now so burned and red. I will never go back here again. Absolutely terrible.

Was a loyal customer to this nail salon for years, refused to go anywhere else until I had scheduled an appointment for me and my friend for pedicures. My friend was from out of town and was not going to make it in time for the appointment and told me last minute. When I showed up without my friend, the owner or manager yelled at me in front of the whole salon telling me “that I must not know how a business is ran, and people like me Is why his business it hurting ” I tried to apologize for not knowing sooner to call but he continued to yell at me until I finally walked out. The worst costumer service I have ever experienced. Will not go back and want to spread the word.

Got a pedicures here for 60.00 and my nail tech paid zero attention to what she was doing my heels look awful.

I have been going to Orchid for several years consistently. The staff is always friendly, Kelly is exceptional. The owner is always there and ensures it’s always clean and tidy. They have accommodated my children and others so well. I highly recommend this place!

We walked in as we usually do and they werent busy. Weve never needed an appointment and they turned us away and stated we could come back tomorrow. We felt discriminated as Latinos as another customer walked in and they took her right away. I was disappointed as that had never happened in the year the year we had been going here.

I was extremely disappointed by this experience at this nail salon. I’m from Houston so I have been in the market for a good nail salon. For all the salons in Lubbock this one is probably the worst.I entered the salon at 7:15 and was greeted by no one. One of the nail techs yelled at me to take a seat. No one even asked what I wanted to get done. I take a seat and wait for someone to help me. I help myself to the color palletes on the table and after about 20 min I stood up to take a look at the shellac bottles because I was looking for a specific opi color. I wasn’t even touching at bottles just reading the names. The same nail tech yells at me to sit down and not touch the polishes for they are for the techs only. I told him I was just looking and sit back down. I wait another 20 min and around 8 pm I’m finally asked how I can be helped.The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet and that’s the only reason why I give this place 1 star. After we get started the guy who was supposed to start at my hand comes and insists that instead of doing the usual thing that I do which is acrylic refill with shellac color change I should get dip powder. He insisted about 5 min until I have in. After I agreed he began to peel the acrylics I had. I insisted 5-7 times that he use a drill or soak because it was hurting but he continued and said there’s no time and that he is the “master as removing acrylics”After the painful removal experience, he filed my nails way too short. I told him this and he again said it was too late to fix. He then proceeds to do the dip only for me to see that my nails are all lumpy and bumpy.I told him this but he presumed to ignore me. He then charges me 80 dollars. I wasn’t surprised or angry, but the quality of service I got I could have gotten a much better experience for a way cheaper experience.The place was clean and nice, the pedicurist was sweet, but everything else was a joke. I’m so disappointed at this place and will make sure I never come back. I have photos posted on how lumpy the nails look. So so so upset.

Most disrespectful staff. I went there multiple times before I decided that enough is enough! They made so many mistakes that I couldn’t get myself to spend another penny there! Last time I was there the nail tech made all the lines uneven and when I complained she said that it’s not her fault and that my fingers are croquet!!!

This place was amazing can get very packed for sure. And make sure of your with a group Troy asked to be sited beside each other. We took our Mom and they put her way off by herself. Very clean and very sweet they seem to be amazing with each and everyone. I just hate that. You can’t really understand them but that’s ok. Very clean and very sterile for sure. I’d come back and do the 45min drive for them if I get Nancy or Lih I think was her name.

I showed up at 7 and was refused service because they dont take clients after 7 even though they close at 8. So I took my money to Vintage Nail Salon. They did a great job and only charged me 29.00 for Dip.

I went to get my nails done, but be aware you cant go an hour before their closing times. They wont see you and tell you to come back tomorrow. Doesnt matter that a ton of employees are sitting around and they have customers they are still working on.I will never be back.

This salon used to be my go to. However, more than once my shellac nails have either peeled in less than a week or chipped in the same amount of time. This last time I went to have it repaired and within days the whole polish broke off. They are also over priced. I will not be returning.

Went in when they were busy for a pedicure and a dip, and got taken care of. I didnt feel rushed at all, Im really surprised that some of the reviews said that. My pedicure was and nails look AWESOME! That was 1st visit and Ill be going back

Wish I could do a no star review ! Worst service, I had to ASK for the woman doing my nails to clip my cuticles. I get dip and two of my nails have just slid right off like a press on off my real nail. Horrible, dont waste your money.

Manager is terrible! Someone accidentally dropped a bottle of polish and it broke, customers were chewed out publicly. After my pedicure, the workers hadnt finished cleaning due to trying to check me out. They were stopped in the process of me trying to pay to take them back to their bowls and chew them publicly again. 3 employees were ridiculed in front of the entire shop. The pedicure itself was enjoyable but the management will be why I dont go back.

Went for my 1st time on Saturday and had shellac. It started peeling yesterday. I was disappointed, but called and talked to Jenny. She told me to come in today and they redid my nails for free! Best customer service Ive had at a nail salon and Im from Florida :)

I normally dont have any issues with this place but today I did. 1. I hate the fact that I was being rushed to decide what I wanted to do with my nails and Im paying you my money.-- mind you they only had about 10 customers in there and 5 employees sitting around doing not a single thing. 2. I only wanted 4 of my nails re-done and the nail tech acted like I gave her 20 fingers to do. It really ticks me off when employees have the worst attitudes. I wont ever go back again because of this. They just lost an customer.

The service was horrible. My mother in law was getting her nails done for my wedding, and the guy who did them was very rude. Only worried about eating his lunch, and playing on his phone. When she told him she didnt like how long they or how sharp the nails were, it was because of her nail bed. Which is an excuse.Then when we came back to tell the manager, he said that there is nothing wrong with the nails. And when he went to fix them, he had the original man come. And the man was so rude and horrible he had her in tears. I will NEVER be back. They are rude and very unprofessional.
