Would give more stars if I could. Incredible care with a kind and inviting touch. After calling around to other local urgent care clinics/hospitals and getting lackluster assistance and customer service, this was a real treat. Would recommend to anyone.

TL;DR: Outstanding, professional, compassionate care at a fair price.Our 7yr old cat, Rigby, injured her leg. When we arrived, the front desk staff (over the phone from the parking lot to minimize contact) was professional, patient, and compassionate. They quoted us the cost of the initial exam up front. Despite a 105 min wait estimate on the site, we were quoted only 30-45 minutes and waited about 35.We then spoke to the doctor for a few minutes, who was a great listener, also compassionate, and talked us through what shed do. They took Rigby and about 30 minutes later we were again talking and hearing the diagnosis. She shared our options and pricing, and we went ahead with further tests including x-rays, with no pressure. They let us leave to go get dinner and even finished earlier than they quoted.The doctor finally explained our next steps for care and patiently answered all of our questions. We paid for the services and took Rigby home. She is groggy but happy to be home (pictured).I would recommend VUCC to anyone with urgent animal care needs, and well be back (hopefully not often) in the future.My only tip would be to share the WiFi password with those in the parking lot. :)

They took very good care of my dog. My dog was not a patient there but my dogs eye was really red and watery and just didnt look right. I had to take her in. I called them and immediately got an appointment. There was like a 10 min wait outside because of covid but they called and had me bring my dog to the door. She came out about 45 min later and they called me over the phone to charge me and give me all the details of her exam. She had a lot going on bedsides her eye but I believe the prices are reasonable for how much she had to get done and how much care she needed. Highly recommend. Shes doing much better already!

My 14 year old Maltese suffers from allergies this time of year and needs to have an allergy shot to assist in his getting through this tough time. Our regular vet couldn’t see him for three weeks and with his skin starting to be more problematic we emailed VUCC. I am happy to say our baby was seen that same day, the staff was very kind and understanding. What I really appreciated was that the vet was honest, did not push us into spending more than we had too. Our dog has cost us lots of money over the years and I was grateful. Needless to say, I was very impressed with VCCC and would not hesitate to go back in the future.

DONT EVEN TRY THIS PLACE!!! WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I went in around 9:25pm last night. and get my dog back around 9:55pm. got charge for $985. what do think they can do in 30 minutes and charge that much. but the problem is my dog not getting better after all. I called back next day they ask me to bring my dog back to re evaluation again that mean need to take another X-ray ($450). and I need to pay again for that. Are you kidding me? So dont even try get to this care center. they dont care your pet. just care your money.

I reached out Friday at 6am via email to follow up after going in for visits over the past week. After no response I called same day at 5:30pm and was told someone would call me back when “they had time” as they were “back to back” busy with appointments. As of today (Monday), 3 days later and still no response.Stay far away from this place if you want quality care & concern for your pet. You’re better off going to Angell for an emergency issue.

I took my boy here after he got bit by another dog. They were absolutely amazing and took care of my baby like if it was their own. The front desk girl and vet tech were so sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Papanocholas did such an amazing and clean job with the stitches. I love this place and will recommend it to anyone.

My 16 year old kitty suddenly became ill at the beginning of the year after a UTI. She was eventually diagnosed with chronic kidney disease which quickly progressed to end-stage renal failure. Dr.DAndrea and her team were extremely compassionate, caring, and responsive to my Zephyr. Although her disease does not have positive outcomes, Dr. DAndrea explained all options for me and educated me on Zephyrs symptoms and treatments. She was also willing to listen to any input that I had and made herself available when I had questions. We felt fully taken care of here and the prices are less than some of the veterinarians in the South Shore area. Highly recommend!

Had a very bad experience here where I arrived around 11, dog was taken in around 1, and dog was picked up around 440pm, and was billed for 133$ even though they didn’t help my dog after all that time and I had to take him to another vet. The owner hasn’t responded to my emails or voicemails and deleted my previous review. Beware! Don’t go here. Also beware of the reviews since they delete negative truthful ones! Disappointed

My aunt recommended veterinary urgent care center to me related to her excellent experience with her dog and boy am I glad she did! My vet was too busy to fit us in and my dog was having diarrhea waking us up frequently at night, the poor thing. They were able to fit us in same day, got us into a room right away. Staff were extremely professional especially considering i had a screaming toddler who just wanted to run around and an anxious dog who doesn’t like to be separated from his family when my husband was going to take the baby to the car. Staff came in with games/toys for the baby. Kept her distracted. They were kind, educational about the treatment coarse for my dog. The prices were cheaper than my primary vet would have been! Very reasonable! I wish I could bring my dog here as his primary vet for annual physicals. Everyone who worked there and we encountered and i mean every single staff member was kind, efficient, and professional! Great experience!

I found this clinic when my senior pup was in the end stages of heart failure and I feel so fortunate that she was able to receive the level of care she got here during her last two visits. It takes really amazing people to have the conversations we had to have and find comfort and resolution for everyone involved. I felt that the vets were extremely honest and understanding about treatment options and fairly took into consideration my pets quality of life. I never felt pressure or judgement from any staff, just warm understanding and care. Everyone was genuinely concerned for the well being of my pooch and I could not of asked for more. I sincerely thank all of the staff for how amazing they were to us!Wait time can be long here, since at any time somebody could walk in with a more serious issue than your pet. But that is just the nature of urgent care offices. I also think the vets rotate in from other offices but I think that its just amazing that they are willing to do that for us and our pets!

My cat was in severe pain on Sunday and VUCC took him as a walk in — we waited for 30 minutes before being seen and the team was communicative over the phone while we were waiting in the car (due to COVID). I thought that the staff was very caring and friendly. They identified an issue with my cat that needed immediate attention, provided me with my options, and even scheduled a transfer to the emergency clinic at VCA. Forever grateful to the VUCC team and would definitely recommend :)

My mother recently had to put down her cat of 18 years and this place was amazing to her and her cat.q She was devastated about losing her but the staff was so kind it made the decision for my mom so much easier to accept. My mom said if and when she gets another animal she will most definitely go here for veterinarian needs.

My review is for two different experiences.The first time I visited was when my grandmother’s silky terrier was hit by a car and unfortunately died on scene. My grandmother has dementia and other issues, so struggles to understand what’s going on sometimes. We brought Gus in to discuss cremation options. My grandmother, due to her illnesses, was in denial that he had passed. The vet spent about an hour of her time explaining to my grandmother that Gus was no longer with us and what had happened. It was like she understood my grandmothers setbacks without me having to explain anything. I usually have to guide her along in social situations, but the staff here were nothing short of incredible. They made a horrible experience just a little better.My second experience was last night. I took my moms dog Betty in for an ear infection. Betty has severe anxiety and is usually terrible at the vet, and I was extra nervous because I couldn’t go in with her due to the virus. Well I have to say, the staff here were as amazing as they were before with my grandmother. They made Betty feel so comfortable, she even came out with her tail wagging.Don’t give this place a second thought, just go. They are the best of the best and i highly recommend to any pet lover/owner.Thank you all so much for what you did not only for my Betty, but for my grandmother and for Gus after his passing. You are all truly godsends.

They were simply amazing! My poor cat had an ingrown claw that had imbedded itself in her pad(walked fine and jumped on furniture fine)..called several places that could not see her soon enough..I even called shouth shore vca..they wanted us to wait until november!VUCC in Quincy took her right in took care of her and updated her rabies and an injection of antibiotics all for $200...I was expecting to pay way more...they were so nice and caring would highly recommend anytime!

Dr. DAndrea was really great with my black german shepherd, Eddie. He was really nervous because of a bad past experiences with a different veterinarian. Dr. DAndrea was really patient with him, she is very knowledgeable with big dogs. The last veterinarian unfairly labeled him as an aggressive german shepherd and tried to overly restrain him. Dr. DAndrea understood that he was just scared and that he needed time to feel comfortable with her. I took my very nervous, VERY shy cat here last week after I was concerned she might have a UTI. From the moment I walked in, they were so professional, so helpful and so compassionate. From the woman who first greeted me to the vet tech to the vet - they treated her so well, despite her nerves making things more difficult. Dr. Papanicolas was so great and called to follow up with results and also to see how my cat was feeling. It was such a great experience - I’ve already told all of my local pet-owning friends!

I love this place! All the vets and techs are so sweet and knowledgeable! I have brought my kitten here twice so far and both times they helped her feel better and explained everything to me in great detail! Their compassion for animals and passion for their work shows! I have never waited there extended amount of time for any reason, and it’s always very clean with cute pet accessories/decorations! I would recommend them to anyone in Quincy or even the Boston area!! They’re AMAZING!

I have been here twice and couldnt recommend them enough! The staff is friendly, the vet is super nice, thorough and knowledgeable. It is more cost effective than emergency animal hospitals but the care is just as good. The facility is clean and they get you in and out as fast as possible. Love love love it there.

It was first time here today and I was greeted amazingly and with so much kindness. They made every easy for me to understand of my cats condition and got me in and out within 30 minutes with nothing left to do. What surprised me was the price... I expected it to be quite expensive, especially when its with all the vaccines and other shots, but it was not expensive at all. I cant wait to go back. My cat took a liking with our doctor and nurses!!

Such a great place for any pet owner to know about. My pup was having some bloody diarrhea and our regular vet was too busy to fit him in, so they told me about this place. Cheaper than the VCA South Shore emergency vet, and the staff here were absolutely amazing. Clearly love animals and were so calm and patient with my very anxious dog. Will definitely use again if needed!

Just got home with my beloved cat seymore the entire staff was wonderful even in the middle of a pandemic the doctors and nurses were calming and warm would recommend ! Seymore will only be going here!

I was looking for a place on Sunday to take my dog for a anal gland procedure and this place had great reviews..... so i took my dog there and could see why it had Five Stars, this place was great!! I was greeted very well and all the people that work there are really nice. My pet had to get a prescription at the pharmacy and they didn’t want to give the pharmacy their DEA number over the phone went back and forth for an over an hour because they didn’t want to give it out to the PHARMACIST! my dog was in pain and they didnt care

Perfect environment！Perfect doc and stuffs！I went here today at 6pm because my dog was limping yesterday and this morning. You dont need to make the appointment, just walk in and they will take care of you and you pet immediately. The cost is much cheaper than the other emergency services. And the doc told me that i should let my dog eat the pills before spending 200 dollars for the X-ray.the doc is very nice and answer all my questions patiently.

Incredible experience. Our pup got bitten by another dog (very superficial bite) and the entire staff was so warm, welcoming, friendly, and thorough. For urgent care but non-emergencies, we will always come here in the future if our regular vet is closed! So affordable, too!

When I walked in I was really impressed with how clean the place was. They were all very nice. My cat took to each person who tended to him very well. Highly recommend VUCC. I brought my puppy in today right when they opened after he was having bleeding and they were incredible! Took him in right away, quickly diagnosed the problem and were extremely kind and caring. The staff was so nice and reassuring. Exceptional care!

The compassion and care that is given at Veterinary Urgent Care is above and beyond what you expect! I had to put my 9 year old, Shih Tzu down tonight. They did not rush me at all with any part of the procedure! They allowed me to have all the time I wanted with my Oreo! They were gentle, caring, compassionate, accommodating and never made me feel like my feelings or emotions were a burden to them! They went above and beyond to make sure my Oreo was comfortable and at peace❤ They truly care for the pets and the best interests of all. I cant even begin to express my gratitude to them!

The girl behind the desk, Dianna had a very sweet temperament which my dog Lilly and I found to be calming seeing how we came with a little worry. Dr. Zepernik was very professional and super kind. Went in because I thought my dog had one hot spot and my vet was closed. turned out his whole body was red. they gave him some medication and he slept like a rock that night after being so itchy he couldnt sleep. they were so nice and helpful. everyone was so friendly and made sure all of my questions were answered. they took there time and I didnt feel rushed. Brought my cat and family dogs there for multiple reasons and they are the best hands down! I have been to all Vets around the South Shore area and no one compares to there compassion, expertise and affordibity! Amazing staff of women with huge hearts for all animals. Walked right inside with no appointment, sent me immediately into an exam room and I was out of there in a flash. Ill never go anywhere else

I brought my 8 month old French bulldog to visit the Veterinary Urgent Care Center today due to an unexpected consumption of a wild mushroom yesterday afternoon. After monitoring my pup throughout the night, I decided it was necessary to have a piece of mind that this mushroom was not life threatening. I had read that wild mushrooms come in all different grades of toxicity; and it was very possible, although she made it through the night, that it could long term effects on her liver and kidneys.This was by far one of the best, if not the best encounters I have had with veterinary professionals. I cant say enough about my positive experience. From the friendly greeting at the door, to the unexpected nurturing and extremely knowledgeable information I received during my visit. I left feeling reassured and confident in my pets after care. I cant say enough great things about my experience. Feeling very blessed to have this facility open with such convenience. I will surely be back if any other emergencies arise, and better yet I will no longer have to travel to my nearest VCA. Thanks again!

We got our dog in with no problem. Signing up for a time slot on the internet was easy and efficient. The staff were friendly, calm, and smart. The waiting room was clean, organized, and calm. Would recommend.

I went in after my cat had been violently vomiting for a couple days. He is a very aggressive cat when he goes to the vet and his usual vet charges me hundreds extra each visit to put him under and when I get him back he is sick and foaming at the mouth for at least a day. Here they managed to use a light cocktail involving gas to sedate him for an hour and he was fine after, no foaming and wailing. Plus it was a lot cheaper than normal vet. Luckily it wasn’t a bowel obstruction, just pancreatitis so they were able to treat him at the same time they tested him. They also got the lab and x-ray results back same night as visit.

We are so happy with the urgent care center, it has been our go-to when our regular vet cant fit us in! Dr. DAndrea is fabulous and the staff are great. My dog loves it here! Would highly recommend.

Ther are very nice and patient. My English is not good. But they explain everything to make sure I understand. And The clinic is clean.

Found this urgent care on google after my poor Ollie had a toenail injury. Debated between an emergency department vs this urgent care. So glad I came here! All the staff were fantastic! I was surprise but very appreciative of the fact they called to check up on her the day after. Highly recommend this place!

Honestly the best veterinary experience ive ever had. I have a 7 yr old lab mix he hurt his paw last night/ this morning. I walked in no appointment. They took us right away and were absolutely great. I cant recommend them enough. On top of all that the price is the best i have come across. A co worker told me about them and i will tell everyone i know with pets.

I realized we had a problem at about 8pm on a Friday night. (Not good!) I was surprised to see Vetrinary Urgent Care was open. I called and was told I could be seen at 8:30. Perfect! Wait time was longer than expected but I left just after 10 with my kitties examined, treated, medicines in hand and pill pockets for less money than I anticipated. Stead were all very friendly and offered me lots of tips for my kitties care. They also had very clean pretty friendly rooms. I am a very happy customer and will definitely be back.

A friend of mine took one of her dogs on a Sunday and told me about her experience. She had a terrific experience and transferred all 3 of her dogs records there. One of my dogs had a bite mark on his belly area and my vet was booked up for the day. When I took my dog, Logan there, the staff was extremely nice/thoughtful. Dr D’Andrea was very understanding and show warmth/care, turns out my it was a big bite. The next day their office called left a msg. checking in to see how Logan was. I transferred both my dogs records there so I can have both vets. I like the hours 3pm-11pm 7 days a week it’s more convenient for everyone.

I love Veterinary Urgent Care. I have been 3 times now with my cat and one of my dogs. The staff is wonderful and caring. I love that they are open evenings . makes it so much easier for me. I highly recomnend them.

My neighbor suggested that I try this place Im glad I did. Superb friendly staffs from receptionist to the nurse and I met the most compassionate vet Dr.DAndrea. My furry babies were so at ease with her. Dr.DAndrea spent time examining my babies and answering my concerns and questions unlike other vets who are in a hurry to get out of the room. I will not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

If you live close enough that VUCC is an option for you, you should count yourself lucky.Im very glad that theres an urgent care practice located conveniently to me, especially since its this practice. Ive gone to VUCC now and then for a few years and I can comfortably say that Dr. DAndrea is the best vet Ive ever worked with. Her staff have been stellar every time Ive been, as have the other vets at the practice.This is an urgent care clinic rather than a regular vet, but your animals will be just as well cared for here as at your regular vet. If they took regular patients, I would have no qualms about switching to VUCC as my primary vet. On top of all that, their pricing is quite reasonable - usually comparable to what youd expect of a regular vet visit, sometimes cheaper!

As a pet parent we all know that feeling, of general worry and anxiety, when something is wrong with one of our fur babies and we dont know what it is or what to do. The staff here was phenomenal! They put me at ease and addressed all of my worries and concerns. They were friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond!

Dr. D’Andrea and the rest of the staff were so helpful and caring today when I brought our new puppy Beau in. We were recommended from a friend since our primary vet wasn’t open however we will definitely go here in the future again because we had such a lovely experience!!

I’m still at the VUCC as I right this. I am just so pleased to add another 5 star rating to this wonderful establishment. Both the tech and doctor have been so sweet, gentle and patient with my cat. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in dealing with an unpleasant and scary problem. We love this place. We have three dogs and two cats. Dr.DAndrea and the rest of the staff are beyond professional! My animals love going there, you would think they were going to the dog park as we pull in the parking lot. 2 of our dogs are coming into their senior years and are requiring more care. Dr.DAndrea takes time to explain anything and everything in great detail. The cost is more than reasonable and we couldnt be happier anywhere.

I took my cat in due to a lump on her. She had to have emergency surgery. Dr Dandrea and her staff were so professional and caring.I will never go to another vet as long as Dr Dandrea is there.They made me and my cat feel comfortable there. I felt like I knew them forever. Thank goodness VUCC exists! I meant to write this review weeks ago, because the team here are amazing. My new buddy Cash had pretty terrible lower back pain and I was so worried because he was struggling to walk and yelping in pain. We had to visit twice in 24 hrs and after a week, Cash was back to himself. Michelle called after each appointment to follow up and they provided awesome customer service from start to finish. I’ve recommended VUCC to many people - they are so caring, efficient and cost effective.

We took our 3 y/o Boxer American Bulldog here for a standard yearly check up and vaccinations. The service was amazing, from the moment we entered until the moment we left. Dr. D’Andrea was fantastic with Jameson and spent time talking to us. She, as well as her staff, were caring and attentaive. We even received a phone call the next day to make sure Jameson was not having any bad reactions to his vaccinations. We look forward to seeing Dr. D’Andrea again on a yearly basis, but appreciate knowing they are an Urgent care facility should we need them!

Pesky and I went there today. He was drooling blood and had blood on his paws. His regular vet suggested this business. I’ve been to another urgent care in Weymouth where you have to apply for a loan before you walk in the door, the pricing here was excellent. We saw Dr D’Andrea, she was awesome. Turns out he had only bit his tongue, a first for me after 8 cats. I recommend this vet and dr D. Pesky’s dad

Very nice place very warm take a good care for my pet, nice peoples definitely I will recommend to my friends, and the hours is so convenient.

Dr. DAndrea is a wonderful compassionate vet who truly cares about your pet. I like the fact that they are open late on evenings too in case of an pet emergency and no appointment is required.
