Ok sooo.. my first time coming was a bust! My nails were messy, uneven and as my nails grew out the messy edges showed more that I had to chip away at them to keep them from snagging my hair. They were so pretty (to me any way lol) that nail tech said they were short staffed and he was too busy greeting customers and accommodating them that I feel is the reason my nails took the down fall. However..on mothers day to get my nails done and this guy was great! Took his time and my nails arent super thick or un even. Theyre way thinner and I love them! I dont get my nails done often its been my 6th time in my entire life and Im in love with this set. So elite nail as a whole is clean, and accommodating but the quality of your nails depends on the person you get. I sadly didnt get either of their names (face palm) but the 2nd guy I hope to get again when its time to get my nails done again!

Worst place ever. I know that there is a language barrier but come on you can see when the nails look bad .I had long nails(my real nail) when I went in. But the messed up so badly this is how short they are you can see all the problems. But they just couldnt understand what I was saying...yea right. I will never go back.

It was my first time here and Im never going back. When I first walked in no greeted me or told me where to go to wait so I stood there awkwardly until a tech directed me where to go. I showed the tech what I wanted and she gave me a price of 55. When I was finally seen by a different tech he gave me a higher price of 60 after showing the same photo of what I wanted. No one offered me any kind of drinks or refreshments and my nails were awful. I got a full dip set and they left so much dip in the back of my nails its hurting my fingers. Usually that bit is drilled off but these are so thick and uncomfortable. I got chrome nails and the chrome is splotchy at best. It was clear the tech was rushing and when I paid it was around 100 dollars. Never again.

Went with my friend. My friend wanted medium length almond nails with a very simple design. She was told she cannot get the almond shape with the design and the nail tech cut her nails very short. I wanted black french tip. The nail tech added sparkles to the base without asking and was very rough. Every employee was very rude and we felt very unwelcome. Will definitely not go back.

My wife goes here and always has the best experience. They are friendly,fast and efficient. The place is so big, even I went and set next to her in the massage chair and got a manly pedi. Elite Nail Spa is the place to be.

Elite Nails was very nice in letting myself and my niece get squeezed in without an appointment. Theyre very accommodating! They have a great selection of services. I opted for an anti-inflammatory soak with lavender and shellac. They did great work. They were fast and explained exactly what they were doing each step. Elite also has an assortment of beverages while you are serviced: cokes, water, wine, and MARGARITAS 🍹 😋I shouldve started off by saying I have ankylosing spondylitis (psoriatic arthritis), so others handling my feet can often times be painful. She was very gentle and always made certain I was comfortable and that the Temps were to my liking and not too hot or uncomfortable.My reason for 4-stars and not 5 is because 1. it was very pricey. I paid $70 each, but the inclusions were nice. They included the shellac ($20 more otherwise it wouldve been $50?), the cheese grater 😅, buffing of the heels and foot, leg and foot massage, and ingrown nail removal. So I paid and didnt think twice bc it was a lot of services included. But ive had similar and paid less. Id pay it again if I had to though.2. they dont use new tools on each customer. Had I known before-hand, I probably wouldve gone elsewhere. I didnt see if they were cleaned or sanitized beforehand, but took a leap of faith and did it anyway bc they came highly recommended by a friend. I am diabetic and have to be super careful with that sort of thing. Heres to hoping no infection 🤞🤞😅

This place was beyond dirty. Do they not inspect these places anymore. Now I am worried about an infection.My nails look horrible and it was priced more than most salons.

I will be taking my business somewhere else from now on. I was really disappointed with the services received. I took my teens for aclyric sets which were supposed to be $25 ( according to their fb) I was charged $65/each instead( they didnt care to mention the increase BEFORE doing the work). One of my teens wasnt even offered a color swatch. None of us were offered any complimentary drinks during our 2hr visit. I myself got a Mani/pedi which was supposed the be the cheapest package they had( as a single mom, I want trying to go overboard just wanted to join in on the experience). The lady kept trying to upsell the more expensive packages the entire time and once she realized that I was not going to upgrade she then semmed annoyed with me and began to rush the process, was rude and did a very poor quality job painting my nails. I went in expecting to pay around $100-150 and walked out $250 later with nails that were obviously rushed and not done with very much care. I shouldve just invested in a great quality polish and asked my 10 yr old to do them for me at home. This was a rare treat for my girls and I that turned out to be a bummer experience. So in a nutshell, DONT expect upfront pricing to be what you end up paying( because they will not earn you of any increases) and just know that if you dont upgrade services when they attempt to upsell that the quality of service WILL decrease and youll be treated poorly.

This place has just really gone downhill! it’s disappointing. I paid $400 for three full sets and pedicures they skipped details in the pedicure such as scrubbing the dead skin off the bottom of our feet and they left shellac on my toes from my previous pedicure that was seen underneath new shellac and skipped small details in the full set manicure as well. Im not usually too picky but we spent $400 so I excepted exceptional results and it was just very poor and the technicians were rushing to close. Don’t go here You can find more quality results at another salon and not pay $400.

Starting going years ago and they were awesome! I even recommended them. Last two times I would be embarrassed to recommend them. They are no longer clean as they were, they don’t take there time they make you feel like you are on their time. You are just there walking money. Don’t ready know if they switched owners or manager. Just disappointed on them

I went there today because they were close by and open. I dont know if it was just an off day for my person but my experience was less than stellar. I asked her not to cut my toe nails due to chronic ingrown nails when theyre cut. She did so anyway. I had to keep repeating that i did not want shellac. When it came time to do my nails she asked if i wanted lotion. I was getting a mani and pedi combo. She ended up cutting the cuticle on my thumb. She didnt acknowledge it until after i had washed my hands and then she tried to put something on it to stop the bleeding. Then put alcohol on it. I was expecting a specific place to dry my messy looking nails and instead sat with my hands awkwardly near a fan. So yea, less than stellar experience. I will not be going back. The color choices were good. The place is looking nice and it looks like theyre under construction. Maybe it was just a bad day. Idk.

My first time I went here was great, returned a second time not so great I went the day before my birthday to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed my nails came out alright some arent straight and some were longer then the others they werent even. They were rushing to do them cause of them being busy but come on you just dont do that. Well this part was the worst me and my friend were waiting for someone to do my eyebrows in the back she finally came she messed up one of my eyebrows my friend told her this side dont like right at all then when she was waxing my eyebrows she was putting the end of the stick the side that didnt have the wax on it in her mouth like ewww so nasty I couldnt believe she did that you arent suppose to do that and just cause that I will not be returning cause she did that.

Worst visit ever ... the nail tech that was doing my nails seemed so confused i told her I wanted coffin shape she made them so thin where they looked like stiletto nails when told I didnt like them she got upset . She didnt file them down right buffed one hand not the other didnt clean under the nails I still have acrylic under them not to mention I was sitting with this lady 2 hours and still didnt get a clean out come when she seen it was almost time to go home she began to rush leaving some nails looking uneven My fingers nails are still very swore!!!! if Im willing to spend 60+ on my nails I would think theyll do a better job !!

Everyone was friendly the guy who did my nails was awesome and did an amazing job his name is GO Im from Houston and they topped all my experiences with nail salons anywhere.... They serve drinks free of charge and fruit... Forever my place and highly recommend it you go to same person Go is his name again.... Very much worth it!!!

I wouldnt even give these people a one star, well their wine is delicious but service Is horrible. Me and 2 others I came with waited 50 mins to get our feet done for one. Then 2 people had to fo my nails . My nails are uneven to the max and they are short but yet I still managed to get overcharged. I never had to get 2 different people 3to do my nails and still mess up. I just moved out here from DFW and I must say I had way better experiences. Will never be going back!

We went in as a date...we both had the lavender pedicure. The guy looked at us ugly and when he kept offering other people drinks and snacks he didnt even bother to talk to us...the girls giving us a pedi had to stop and get us one when I had another question because I was wanting a manicure they he was pretty rude and didnt even bothered with us. I thought maybe they were to busy and tried to enjoy the time but I will never ever go back!!!!!

I went to Elite earlier this week based on the recommendation of a friend. I wont be back. My dipped nails took an hour and a half. By the time my service was done, almost all my cuticles had been nipped, and I was bleeding under a couple of my nails. I washed my hands as instructed, and the clear coat started peeling off my thumbs. The nail tech told me that I hadnt held my hands in the proper position, but she would fix it. She proceeded to aggressively use a buffing block to remove the semi-dry clear coat and my cuticle from both thumbs. She kept saying sorry, but filing more. This was on Tuesday. Now today, on Friday, the clear coat is peeling off one of my middle fingers and the nail is starting to split in that same spot. I would like to go somewhere else to have my nails completely redone but my cuticles are still painful and raw from the service I received at Elite. The $45 that Elite charged is more than I typically pay for powder/dipped nails, and I usually get 3-4 weeks of wear without issue.

Have been going here since I moved here. Only place that can do my nails right! They never fail! They take walk ins, most Ive ever waited for is 20 min and that was one time. They bring you drinks and fruit. Theyre not rude, they just dont really talk, which is fine by me. Forever my place

Very friendly and attentive. However, they rushed through my services. A shellac manicure typically lasts 2 weeks for me. This one didnt last but 2 or 3 days. I felt like I paid more than enough for a better lasting finish.

The last time I went here it was a Saturday and I asked John to take my nails off and that I wasnt going to get any nails put on for a while. His response was very rude and unprofessional. He told me, Why didnt you come during the week, Im very busy on Saturdays.

Spent $150 on my nails and toes a week ago. I told them they are cracking and diamonds are popping off. What do they offer, the cheap solution. If I spent that money, why is it ok for them for them to be cheap? Never again!

I request a basic witch..I know its not the most. But they charge 27$ to put salt scrub rinse and paint my toes. I said nost places take off dry skin😂 & massage. He said here you have to pay more. The only reason they got one star is because they were friendly.

My daughter had her toes done and the nail polish wouldnt dry. She went back to have them redone and the same thing happened. She complained and was told the polish has to much water. Why does it have too much water?!? She asked for a different nail polish and was told there would be a charge. She asked for her money back and they agreed to a different polish. Then sat there talking in their language the whole time they redone her nails. Bad customer service!

NEVER!!!! This had been my salon of choice for a few years now, but I don’t believe I’ll be back! I went in at 6pm for a full set. They were busier than usual and treated me like I was the problem! Lady asks me if I wld like a drink I told her wht I wanted and she proceeded to bring everyone after me drinks while I sat and let my technician butcher my hands. I tried to tell him how I wanted my nails and his response was he had been doing nails for 25 years! Long story short, I will NEVER allow him to provide service for me again and it’s a shame he is allowed to treat ppl the way I was treated......wish I could give NO STARS!Thanks for ruining my evening Alex!

Zero stars because when I took my sister to get pedis mine cost $65 hers was the basic $45. So mine was more because I got shellac so they last longer...not even a 2 days later they start chipping off!(they where so busy they rushed us out I didnt even have time to move my stuff before some lady sat down and started getting her nails done..my sister had to reach over her to get it for me) So I call and they told me to come in and they would fix it. So I bring my daughter in and decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and get my daughter her first professional nails painted just the $5 kind..3hrs later and her nails are already gone. I get it thats what I paid for but they at least last 2 days before the start coming off when I do her nails at home! I have pics to prove it but dont know how to upload them. So pics to come.

But every place Ive been to said they could do it and failed miserably and they turned out looking like crap until I had a friend suggested I come here and I met Jackie she is amazing and does a fantastic job!

We went there this past Friday and had a horrible experience. My girlfriend had gone there before and it was better. Maybe we just came on the wrong day with Easter coming up but it was horrible. The wait was forever. After soaking my feet in the water at the massage chair, I was over it. I took my feet out. One of the 2 male managers finally came and asked me if I wanted a beverage while I waited. I had a glass a glass of their (Wild Vines I think) blackberry wine. The girl that did my pedicure was nice and said she worked there for 4 years. I told her I liked her apron that said I love (heart) Nails. She said she hated it. She handed me their menu of all their offers. There are way too many options. She was very insistent on the $60 pedicure. It is their tropical citrus treatment. I told her no thanks and she kept saying how much better it would be for me etc. I told her nicely no thanks several times. All I really wanted after she was being super pushy was just a basic pedicure so we could get out of there but I was nice and got the milk & honey pedicure. She didnt seem too happy about my decision. About half way through my pedicure she said she needed a break because I guess a man she was giving pedicure to before me decided at the last minute to get his eyebrows waxed. I was left there again. She came back to me looking overwhelmed. I felt sorry for her. Then I pulled out my phone for the 15% off if you check in with yelp and she got really upset and insisted it wasnt them. She took my phone to the manager and he got upset and spoke in their language and said to me that its not their business that offers it and its gotta another nail place near by. I looked at their menu with their address etc and verified that it is the same location as what is on yelp. Lucky for her I gave her 15% tip despite the huge disappointment of going to this place.Im not done yet.My girlfriend who was with me just had a manicure done by a lady named Kathy. Kathy asked to be paid up front for some odd reason. Then my girlfriend tipped her and she responded with thats it?? Oh you must have been waiting too long honey in a sarcastic tone of voice. According to my girlfriend, this Kathy lady was pressuring her to get one of the more expensive manicures as well. I dont know if this what theyre trained to do but its pretty ridiculous. She also pressured her to get another color and my girlfriend was in disbelief. She told the lady it wasnt her first time getting a manicure and she knew what colors she liked and didnt like. She wanted to leave. She was super upset like myself. We should have cancelled our whole trip to that salon but we were in town to do our nails and to run errands and go shopping at Costco.What a disappointing experience. Needless to say, not going back there. No thank you. Dont go :(

I am new to Lubbock and I have tried many nail places in town until I came here to Elite. I was attended right away and explained all my options to me. Meshell was excellent she did my nails really good and recommended the best option for my feet. Shes an expert in ingrown nails and was gentle yet firmed on my in grown toe nails. I loved my treatment and this place is the best. I highly recommend Elite nails and Meshell. I know I will keep coming here. LOVE IT!!! ❤

I hate to write bad reviews but I had a terrible time here. The nail color selection is really lacking. The care of my nails were horrible. My cuticles are botched and dry. The nail polish is uneven and slapped on.When I addressed how my deluxe manicure missed the hot towels and exfoliation I was told the massage was the exfoliation and missing the hot towels was not a big deal.I wish there was better service but now I know. For someone who is not from Lubbock looking for a manicure I was really disappointed. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

I used to go to this nail salon a few years ago mainly for manicures and I never had this bad of an experience. I went in yesterday for a pedicure because I knew they have a lot of people working and my friend and I were in a bit of a hurry. We chose the simple pedicure and boy was it simple. You can go anywhere in Lubbock and get a basic pedicure for $25, here they are $27 which isn’t a big deal, but I received the worst, rushed pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The guy didn’t even massage my legs AT ALL, which is my favorite part of a pedicure. He also didn’t even worry about making sure the bottom of my feet were soft. Then when he started applying the polish, I asked if he could do ombré glitter and he said yes $5 extra. So I was like ok that’s fine I guess. Then he does the worst ombré glitter I’ve ever seen. After leaving, I noticed he didn’t even polish the whole nail on my big toe. Both me and my friend paid more than usual and received the same rushed service. Now I get to walk around with nail polish on my toes that looks like a 5 year old did it and I paid more than I should have. Sorry for being dramatic but I feel like just because we didn’t want the $40 pedicure, they treated us differently and it shows that all they care about is money. I didn’t tip, which I always tip, but this was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. 🙁

My husband and I went there and they had to re-paint my toes while there because he messed them up, then the next day my shellac started peeling off my nails and my feet swelled twice their size that night. Then to make it even worse my husband had his toes done and started oozing puss out from where they took out his ingrown nail and cut his toe open...almost $200 that I cant get back. When I went to get my nails fixed the lady wouldnt fix all of them just the one that was the worst. I will never be going there again....rediculas

This salon has been steadily going downhill the last several years. The most disappointing part is no matter how busy, I still am rushed and never know what they will charge me for the mediocre job.

Will not recommend to anybody this place is a joke! Went to get my eyebrows done, the lady mess them up and made a hole in my brow and had the nerve to say oh with makeup you can cover it up I don’t wear eyebrow make up wth!!! Nails started to pull up from the back side in 1week we’ll not go back

Beware! If you go do not use a credit card! Cash only... i love the salon itself but... i had a pedi charge pending on my account which was accurate.then when it cleared it was 18 dollars more. I went into the salon to see whats up and they keep all the ledgers on a computer screen in direct front of the store and all they do is go to it and touch any name on the while screen which has your cc info and name and just insert a price and it charges you. It is not secure at all! I went in and spoke with the owner. I explained what happened. He was going on and on taking in another language to the worker that worked on me and she gave me back 15 dollars cash out of her pocket. 3 dollar was suppose to be a tip. I kept asking what happened. I wanted to know why it happened so I actually understood and he said he needed to look more into it . So i never got an answer... So I really liked the salon but that ruined it for me. You shouldnt be able to go back and charge a huge tip onto something hoping its not caught and seeing that screen always on with everyones info and all it takes is a click to type in anything on anyones account is not ok. So for this reason I will not come back.

Im not sure where to start. I did not like my experience here. First when I walked in and mentioned I just wanted a basic pedi with a foot scrub he stated we dont have a basic with a foot scrub if you want the foot scrub its $45, so I was like ok just give me the basic no foot scrub $23 bc I needed shellac on my toes. Long story short we argued on and on about shellac on my toes and nails. First I was told if I didnt get the pedi it would be $70 then I was told if I did get the pedi with Shellac(for feet and nails) itd be $90, when it came time to check out I was charged $108 for Shellac pedi and nail. Now I didnt make a big deal bc coming from Elite staff my nails would last 6-8 weeks I had my nails a week and they were already chipping and growing out. Its been 2 weeks today and theyre a mess! I can see just how horribly crooked the acrylic underneath was done, and the shellac. 6 weeks my butt! its coming off! I really wanted to feel like $108 was worth it but it was complete garbage. very disappointed

Wish I could give this place no stars. Worst experience ever! They passed coupons out to our sorority and then once they got us in there they wouldnt honor them. In addition to that they charged us more than the posted price. We opted for the more expensive pedicure and manicure and all they did was soak or feet and paint our nails. Buyer beware!!

I went this weekend the service was not what I expected at all..First the young lady kept sugesting I get glitter on my nails because she could not do the lines that I wanted she then showed me her toes to offer doing a flower like she had...I ended up picking chevron as the design when she was done I asked for a matte finish so she says right away that will be $5 dollars okay thats fine..She put the matte coat without letting me wash my hands she kept saying now pay now pay so I reached into my wallet to pay and smudged all my mani..She fixed it with a smerk then she left me sitting there letting them dry...I didnt even get wax on my hands like everyone else...:(

I had gone in for a manicure and pedicure. First, the girl acted like she was scared to touch my feet then after her manager said something to her in ching-chang, she started to work really fast. She made both my hands and feet bleed. The worst part, the next day, I developed cellulitis to one of my fingers. I was on antibiotics and I had to have the area cut and drained. It has been a year since I have been back- I will never ever go back!

False advertising. Cut me several times and made me bleed on both my hands and feet. Charged me $220 for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures, was quoted $65 each bringing the services to a total of $130. Prices were printed on their brochure which I had checked before I went ahead with the services. When I confronted the manager about the situation he said Well its my business and gave me a $25 dollar gift card for making me bleed which is stupid. I was charged $90 more than I was told it would cost. Gift card does me no good as I will never be going to this establishment again. Its pretty sad when your 16 year old niece has to see how scandalous people can be.
