Tried to call Sydney Pickett and she just did not want to help a local at all to get housing. So unprofessional. It’s like I felt like she was avoiding me.

NE Management seems to have a dismissive to unresponsive culture towards issues, and it is apparent from the unresponsiveness of their office and the same at their property-level management. I have been in constant communication the the onsite management about community rule violations that have not been remedied. Since the lease commenced, I have constantly encountered other tenants who violate community policies. While the community I lease at is marketed as a luxury living community, the community allows itself to be treated in the opposite manner. The largest issue facing the community is that the management does not regularly and consistently enforce the community policies that are agreed to in the lease. Every tenant on every side of me has disrupted my work or living with yelling, slamming, screaming, loud music, etc. at all hours of the day, including 2:00 am on weekdays. The managements solution has been to contact the police, or their response has been that prospects touring the property have not complained. Despite calling the police department numerous times, the noise disturbances from other tenants have not been remedied. Aside from the blatant disregard my neighboring tenants have of the community policies, numerous other tenants continuous violate community policies including leaving broken mirrors, unleashed aggressive dogs, trash bags, etc. on their balconies, leaving pet excrement on the property grounds, leaving trash cans and bags out at all hours of the day (outside designated collection times), and allowing guests to park in the resident-only parking area. When I arrive home after a 60-hour work week, I do not want to struggle to find parking because several vehicles that are not residents vehicles are parked in the resident-only area, or to sit in my car and wait as another tenants dog is roaming the parking lot off-leash. I do not want to continue being awoken at 2:00 AM by college students music, barbecuing, etc. on their balcony; but most frustratingly, I do not want to continue working with dismissive property management who never enter the property themselves to make this property the luxury living community they market it as. Save your money and spend it at another property that doesnt allow itself to be littered with crash, pet feces, and entitled college kids who have no regard for others.

My personal experience with this company was horrible. After firing me for something I absolutely did not do, they tried to keep my final paycheck until I reported them to the US Department of Labor and Wages (Im not the first employee they have done this too). After the Dept of Labor and Wages investigated my claim, they had 10 days to pay me. I had no guidance from corporate office, or at least from my corporate supervisor Grace. She hardly ever visited the property and it was brand new construction! I was forced to work out of a beat up ragged out air stream while trying to lease a beautiful luxury apartment community because they are to cheap to get an actual leasing trailer. It was so embarrassing and of course everyone laughed and belittled NE Management at all the TAA meetings but yet I sat and took up for this joke of company because I was paid to do so. Yes NE Management is a new company and they all have growing pains but Charlie should really reevaluate his corporate level employees soon. Its not what you know but who you know with this company. I can only imagine what Grace is having to do to stay on top but thats just my opinion. I was warned before taking this job last year but of course I didnt listen. My mistake! Im sure they will contact there attorney after reading this but you can save your time and money. Im only allowed to post things online that are true. Everything in this review is true and can be proven factual. Thanks and have a blessed day!

Great company! I lived at a property in Austin. When I moved out, I called the corporate office for questions. The corporate office was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I would definitely move back to an NE Management property, when I move again. Customer service was above and beyond. Thanks all!

Any time I have EVER had an issue (and there’s been quite a few) it never gets done in a timely manner. I have to call constantly to remind them and check on when things will get taken care of. For example, I came home after work with no heat and it there was a freeze warning in my city and I called maintenance to come check it out...2 hours later the guy came by and said he didn’t know what was wrong so he would send somebody out the next week so I had to go all weekend without heat. Elevators will be down for a week or two at a time. On top of that, anytime I’ve had maintenance enter my apartment when I’m not home, they leave my door unlocked! The list goes on and on. It’s incredibly frustrating and anytime I’ve tried calling the corporate office they are so rude and say they will have someone call me and they never do. NE properties is horribly managed. Fair warning!

This company promises excellence but only provides lies and horrible customer service. I was lucky enough to figure this out before signing a lease contract. They only care about money and not about their customers. Thanks for absolutely nothing and wasting our time.

They are awful at communicating. We had a problem with the management in our complex and we called corporate and they were just as bad. Don’t rent from any complex owned by here!

December 14, 1917My home was hit by Hurricane Harvey on August 25, 2017. All electrical power was destroyed for my county (Aransas) as well as two more. While a time of chaos, some believed that it would require up to 6 months to restore power. I had fled to Victoria where, after a considerable search, I located a suitable apartment available on “month to month” for $1,400 per month with a $250 refundable deposit which I paid on August 31, 2017. As AEP excelled in their restoration efforts, the power was back on by September 10! I promptly gave notice, immaculately cleaned the apartment, returned the keys to the Assistant Apartment Manager, Crystal Alta, and was told to expect my deposit refund by November 1. When it did not arrive, I called the Manager, Melissa Martnez, who informed me that an error had been made, marking my deposit not refundable. She corrected their error, said my refund would now arrive by December 1, emailed a document to me assuring that and sent advice to the accounting office NE Property Management in Lewisville, TX to pay me. By December 8, no check. I called Rene Hubbard, VP of Operations, in Lewisville. She ducked my calls and finally assigned “me” to a District Manager, Kara Lazzure(sp), who said she would find out from Hubbard why the return was denied. She never called back and is now ducking my calls, as well. It is clear that no refund is coming nor is an explanation. What an unprofessional way to run a company!!William E.
