My fiancé and I had a great experience with the staff at Helzberg. Chloe & Bea helped him pick out a beautiful ring with a great care plan, and they’ve both been phenomenal every time we’ve come in for cleaning and resizing. Definitely recommend coming here — their selection & quality is great and the staff are so professional and personable at the same time!!

My husband and I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Helzberg Diamonds. The list goes on. Poor communication- they’re all over the place and seem to not follow through with what they tell you and do not communicate amongst one another working. They’re not reliable when you’re investing in something so large, and was treated horribly by rude staff. We wish we never gave them business and went else where. We recently just purchased two rings from this place and they gave them to me, with no box or paperwork. Literally had me put them on my finger and that was it.... bizarre.
Sandy was very nice and helpful, she had great customer service!! I learned that you can get married at this place too, which I find awesome!! Definitely five stars.
Walked in for the first time to look for some jewelry for an upcoming special event. I looked at their selection for 5mins and not ONE sales person acknowledged me! Unbelievable! Not even a “Hello” or “Sorry someone would be with you shortly.” Forget this place! The mall is so much better than this dump. I won’t recommend this place at all!
Super disappointed in our service. Today we walked in and we was never greeted or even acknowledged. After about 10 minutes finally a sales woman approached. I asked for my ring to be checked and she said they were doing this by appointment only. (There was no on else in the store at this time) That was already frustrating seeing as I live over 20 minutes away. Besides wanting a cleaning my husband was treating me to my diamond band that Ive been wanting. We told the sales woman that we had it picked out a while ago but was there a way to see what it was. ( I was in there about 9 months ago and the saleswoman then knew what it was that he picked out.) She gave a strange look and said no our line changes so much so no. Then never asked any questions and just stood there offering no support or willingness to help. At this point I was getting more upset with her. She said she could book me an appointment for a cleaning for 4 months out. Seriously, there was still no one in the store and at this point she could have cleaned and inspected it by now. I said I would have to call back for an appointment that I wasnt sure of my schedule that far out. She said well the longer you wait the longer your appointment will be out. At that comment I was over the edge. I said ok and we left. Well take our business somewhere else.

I just purchased a new (upgraded) wedding ring and engagement ring for my wife, for a 7th Anniversary gift at this Joliet location. I am very happy with the service. Mia took care of me, she new her stuff and she made me feel very welcome as a mew customer. The selection of rings was great and they had exactly what I wanted! Helzberg Diamonds in Joliet is definitely going to remain my main jewelry store. Since my old jeweler retired and closed his business, I am grateful that I have found Helzberg to be my New jeweler. If I could give no stars I would. My husband and I came in for my routine check and cleaning on my ring to the Joliet location and it was no other customers there. The lady said we had to come back by appointment only. We didn’t understand that based on no customers in the store at all and he talked to the woman for about 10 minutes! She could have inspected and cleaned it for that time standing there while conversing with her. The customer service is always excellent until Wednesday 12/2/2020. Customer service is definitely below standard. Maybe there was another reason why we were not able to get serviced at the time that’s beyond us but, didn’t understand. Will be writing in to Helzberg also in addition to this post.
Staff were so friendly and helpful when shopping for jewelry. They remember me each time I go in there to get my rings cleaned. Highly recommend!
This is thee worst location. Horrible customer service. Mark my words this location won’t be around for much longer! Drive the extra mile to the location in Orland park. You won’t regret it.

Bought a Movado watch for the hubby as a gift and I specifically asked if he could come back and remove links to size it and they assured me that he could. My husband stopped by on his way home from work at the Joliet Helzberg (mind you he also spent money there for my anniversary gift that same week) and they told him they couldn’t remove links because of Covid!?! What!!! Seriously, you’re telling me I spent $1000 on a watch that he can’t wear now? Not cool. He’s upset to say the least and he was a loyal customer. Jared here we come.
Ive had issues with a diamond falling out of my ring a few times when I was finally told I needed to get an entirely new ring and the one I had was no longer in stock. I was feeling very upset about that because I loved my ring, but Sherry helped me pick out a new one as well as a band to go with it and took the experience from upsetting to perfectly enjoyable. She is hands down the most pleasant and helpful person Ive encountered there and highly recommend asking for her if you visit this store shes amazing and I truly appreciate her help today!
My fiance found my engagement ring at Helzberg and it is breathtakingly beautiful! I wouldnt ask for a different ring. After he purposed we started talking about details and he told me that he made sure to ask Helzberg if they had a matching wedding band for this ring. It is an infinity ring so its hard to match. They told him Of course we do! We just dont have it right now because we sold it. So, he was unable to see the wedding band before he purchased the ring. But, he purchased it anyways believing the sales associates. We are having a short engagement so we went back shortly after he purposed to order the band for me since we wanted to make sure it got here in time for our wedding. They didnt even take us over to the anniversary band counter! They brought us two bands over by the registers. They were the same band only one was smaller and one was bigger. The lady hovered us while we looked at the rings. We felt so uncomfortable and pressured to buy a ring. Neither one matched my engagement ring but, being first timers at this, we thought since they said it was the match that it was. The lady even told us that once it was resized to fit me that it would perfectly match the loops of my engagement ring. A couple weeks later when I picked it up I tried it on in the car with my mom and it looked bad. Wasnt even close. There was huge gaps in between the infinity loops and it just looked bad. So me and my mom went back in to talk to another lady who kindly told us the truth. That band is not a perfect match my ring its just what they think is kind of close. So, I left that day and went home to show my fiance who also didnt like it. We started shopping around to look at other ring for me and him because we were so unhappy with the amount of money he had spent and the horrible customer service we were getting. Every store we went into offered to clean my ring. Even though they didnt sell us the ring. They didnt care, they still wanted to clean it. Helzberg NEVER offered to clean my ring on the 7 occasions were in there for screw ups. We ended up buying a straight band ring from Rogers and Hollands and returning the ring to Helzberg. The customer service there is way better and they are so much more laid back and we are able to have space to talk about things and are not pressured into buying anything like we were at Helzberg.
I have loved helzberg jewelry since I laid eyes on a birthstone ring they had on sale. Ever since, I have always purchased items from one of there collections and continue to faithfully shop there for all my jewelry. The staff is just like family.

Went in staff greeted us and ending up telling I was wrong and drop my fiancé engagement ring on the counter. Very poor handling and service for a Diamond store any where else we would not get that treatment. Joliet location no good.
My fiancé and I were in the martlet for an engagement ring. My mother is a very loyal customer to this location and recommended to us. Now I understand why. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted in terms of a ring, but the staff at this location make it so much better. Everyone there really seems to do their best for you, not just shove a sale down your throat. Also appreciate that it’s in a free standing building instead of some open store stall in a mall. I honestly think it changed the entire experience.

Let me start by saying that this has nothing to do with my ring, but instead the customer service AFTER my fiance and I chose to stick with Helzberg for an engagement ring. I love my beautiful engagement ring and I get so many compliments on it. The girl who helped us try on so many different rings was polite and helpful. That was a wonderful experience. It is the other women I have dealt with since being proposed to.I recently received my engagement ring from this location. They sized me at a 5.5, which was in the middle of the hot summer. They told me to go up a quarter size, though, because of fluctuation in size, weight, temperature, and what not.When I received the ring, it was way too big on my finger. So I went in to have it sized. They sized it down to a 5.5 for me. About 5 days later, I was able to pick it up. They didnt put the ring on the ring stick or anything just to double check. They gave the ring to me and asked how it fit. Well, from coming in from the 90 degree weather to a 60 degree store, it fit fine because I was extremely hot. As I left the store and sat in my air conditioned car for a bit, the ring once again began to spin around my entire finger, just like how it fit for the 5.75. I immediately called the store wanting to speak to the jeweler, because i was a bit concerned. The woman who answered the phone said those who are sales associate are considered jewelers. I asked her if there was a possibility to speak to who actually sized the ring and she said no. Okay...understandable. It wasnt until she said Im not trying to sound like Im talking down to you, but... where I began to get upset. I know when a ring doesnt fit my finger. A few thousands dollar ring should spin all over the place. I told her I would wear it a few days to see how it changed.There were days where it fit better than others, but it was still loose. The weather has recently started to cool down, which is making the ring loose 24/7 now (to the point where the diamond constantly spins towards the palm of my hand). I called Helzberg once again to see what we could do, and the woman on the phone said Well, I would wait until its super cold out, like....10 degrees, and then see how it fits. Youre joking, right? Its 70 degrees out now and it doesnt fit now. So of course it wont fit when its 10 degrees out!!The worst part about it is I want to take it to an actual jeweler to get an opinion (not a sales associate) on the fit, but the lifetime guarantee is not good if you get work done at any place besides Helzberg. Good thing I can drive to a different Helzberg location.I get it. A ring will almost never fit perfectly. But for how expensive an engagement ring is, it shouldnt roll around my finger.

I have been coming to this Helzberg for years and they are the nicest salespeople whether Im spending a lot or a little. I have my rings inspected every six months and if there ever is a problem they fix it quickly and its done well.
