I had an appointment for 1:00 pm on a Tuesday and the salon was running right on time. It has been at least 3 years since I went to a salon, but since I have a wedding coming up I figured I better leave it to the professionals. I was helped by Ana who really clarified the differences between acrylic, gel, and dip nails. Based on both the design I wanted and the integrity of my nails, she recommended that dip would be the best option. I liked the fact that she walked me through the process, was patient with answering my questions, and gave recommendations based on what I might want to do for future appointments. I also liked how she took the time to check on a sample nail of what I wanted before she did the whole set. She also made great recommendations when it came to my pedicure about a regular polish versus a gel. She did not try to oversell me at any point during the appointment, and she was honest about the services. Overall, this is probably the best experience I can ever remember having at a salon. I will definitely be coming back and asking for Ana again in the future!

First time here & it was a great experience. Ana was fantastic! Got my nails & eyebrows done & both look amazing! I have recently been going elsewhere but just had surgery & was feeling pretty low so I wanted to treat myself and wanted it close to home. Found a winner!! Mary did an outstanding job with my nails, pedicure & eyebrows!!!! I loved my experience here!!!! Her pedicure on my feet & massaging my calves was heavenly💞 I will definitely be back when Im in the Tampa area doing my 34 hour reset or vacationing!!!!

The staff was warm and kind. Payed special attention to me and I felt pampered and relaxed. Also, the prices are amazing, I chose the luxury pedicure option and got my eyebrows waxed for $35 TOTAL… I feel like that is a very good deal, definitely would recommend, extremely satisfied with the way my pedicure turned out!

It was ok. Didnt get many color options nor an option for any spa treatments for my pedicure, got a very rough and short massage and feet scrub that was painful. The guy kept sighing like he couldnt wait to be done. Left uneven polish coverage on my nails, and uneven filing. My step daughter got acrylics for her manicure and they hurt her finger, the smiley faces looked like they were mad.

I love Amethia Nails! I’ve been going here for about a year now and I have never had an issue. I go every two weeks to get dip on my nails by Ana and Gel pedicure by Julie. Everyone is so nice and professional, they all remember personal things you tell them while getting your nails done. I have no complaints- my nails always last the full two weeks, many colors to choose from, and the prices are equal to the services provided. :)

I am so sorry to have to leave this review. Back in June, before a family event, I came here and got a french gel manicure. I work in the medical field, and my nails have to be short. It turned out beautifully, and lasted almost 4 weeks!So I came back, on Friday, August 6th. I have an important work event tomorrow (Monday). I wanted the nails done and pretty, so I could worry about everything else that goes into looking nice. The tech tried to convince me to go longer with my nails. Uh, no, I cant.She did the gel french manicure, and it looked nice, but there was only one layer of top coat, which surprised me.I should add that this weekend all I did was routine activities, nothing crazy that placed excess stress on my nails.I returned on Saturday August 7th with 2 chipped nails, asking for a fix and more top coat. A different associate fixed the chips, but did not add top coat. In retrospect, I should have insisted on it.Because now, on a Sunday, I have 2 even bigger chips, and your salon is closed.My event is tomorrow, so Im pretty much screwed. I will have to apply polish myself all day long.I dont understand how there could be such a HUGE disparity in gel manicure quality here... But needless to say, my faith was misplaced. This work event was important. I just wanted my nails to look nice.

My nail artist was Peter and he was absolutely amazing to me. Had a pedicure which was super relaxing and they look so nice now, and then I had a full set out on. Peter could tell that I bite my nails severely as well as the skin surrounding and I am so pleased to say that he is the first nail artist that has not caused me any pain while putting fake nails on. He was absolutely wonderful and I will be booking with him again!

I recently broke 3 of my nails within a week and came to get them fixed. 3 days later, one of them already breaks again. I would love to call and ask to get it fixed, but the last interaction I had with his business was nothing but rude and inconsiderate. I was told my 3 nails would be fixed for free, then had to pay 30$ upon my arrival. The employee told me I was paying for the refill of my nails, but they didn’t refill any of my nails. They only fixed the 3 that were broken, and repainted all the nails. No acrylic was put on my other 7 nails that I “supposedly” got refilled. I didn’t understand where the 30$ fee came from, but I just paid it and left, expecting this time they fixed it the right way. Of course, I was screwed over once again by this awful business, and nor will I return. Poor service. Rude employees. Awful nail sets for 2 times in a row.

I went to get my eyebrows, toes done and my fingers nails my toes and eyebrows came out great but my finger nails they were improperly painted I can see the nail thought the paint she also cut to low on my cuticles and made them bleed not professional at all I’ve only had my nails painted for 5 days and the paint is completely coming off I get my nails done a lot and they usually lasts a month a so I don’t do hard labor I work in a office it crazy that they are pealing and chipping I will never go back to this place ever do your self a favor and go somewhere else this pace is a waist of money

The guy that did my nails did an excellent job. I didnt get cut or burned this time. I finally found a place in temple terrace that I am happy with. This will be my regular place. My nails look so good.

Daughter had full set done. Within 6 days, three nails came totally off. Called and asked if we would be able to get the nails replaced and fixed, was told there would be no charge. She shows up for her appointment, and because they had to repaint the nails they now wanted to charge $30. When I questioned the charge, I was told that the three replacement nails were free, but because she got a nail color it was $20. Not even sure where the extra $10 came in to make it $30. Lady said if she got same design as previous it was free, but the technician is the one that offered to change the color. Woman interrupted, talked over me, and raised her voice when I asked questions. Regardless, acrylics shouldn’t fall off, and then a free repair shouldn’t end up costing money. Poor quality and poor customer service.

I went in and got a pedicure and acrylic nails done with my friend. I paid for a 30 min pedicure and it got done in less than 10 minutes. It felt very rushed and I feel as if it wasn’t worth the money. My toe polish was not on all over my toes. There are spots missing where polish should have been. Then I got my acrylics done and they didn’t cut my nails ahead or ask before putting them on. My nails were a decent length and needed to be cut before hand. My friend was told she couldn’t get her nails the length she wanted which makes 0 sense because she should’ve been able to. I told them I wanted a burgundy red. My toes are the color I wanted but my nails have a purple/red on the side but are now BROWN. Not what I wanted at all. I even showed a picture of the color to the person and she picked it out and said it was the one.

Received my 2nd spa pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails. My first pedicure lasted over a month, great value for relatively inexpensive. Acrylics were done fast and look amazing. Will definitely return

I got a set of acrylics and 3 fell off completely within my first week of having them. When I called to ask for a redo for free, they said yes, but when I got there I had to pay. Not only that, the design I was given was no where near what I asked for. I asked for 2 lines and ended up with splurges of paint everywhere with dots and curved lines- all very sloppy. There is left over paint from my previous set still showing on my nails. Very unsatisfactory

This was my first time coming here and I was so happy! Mary did my mani/pedi and I was just so happy with the results. I didnt wince or have to tell her it was too hot or that I was in pain. She was so nice and sweet. Everyone was professional, respectful, and really nice! Plus they were adorable, you all definitely have my business! I loved it!!

I never thought I would be writing this kind of review for a place i have been to for 4 years now. I am going to say that it was not the whole staff but just one person. Ive had my nails done by Tran and the tall young lady and theyve come out perfect. However, this time (and 2 previous times) Ive had my nails done by Kandie. You can see how the polish is all over my skin. When i told her that my nails werent painted all the way, in the corners, and then i inspected my nails and there were too many streaks i told her about it and she just told me that I was being picky. This is what my nails look like right now. If you dont mind polish all over your skin then its all good but that is not what i paid for. And this has not been the first time that this has happened with her. And my nail shape are different on one hand compared to the other one.

I was recommended to go hear by a friend and Im so glad! I will come here Everytime! Please tell everyone you know to stop going to other nail salons around the area and come here! They will take care of you!

Decided to try this salon out for the first time on my birthday. They are just down the street from me in Temple Terrace/USF area. My pedicure was amazing, the tech could have had better painting skills for sure, but he was happy to fix my issues no problem., thanks Jon. Ana, did my nails and it was almost exact to the picture I showed her. Everyone was super nice and accommodating and I got 10% for my birthday. Thanks.

I was so happy with my pedicure here this morning! I have a tried a few other nail salons in Temple Terrace and always end up in pain and feeling like I have overpaid for shoddy service. This is the first nail salon on Temple Terrace that has been a great experience all around! The place was very clean and everyone was social distancing & wearing masks.

I just had a deluxe pedicure at Amethia with Ping. What a wonderful experience! She did a great job on my pedicure. Also, the shop was clean and all the workers friendly and professional.

This is a very clean and professional place i have been coming for years they are taking all the safety Precautions to keep you and the staff safe during covid-19 they are checking temperatures at the door sanitizing hands all staff and customers have on mask they are social distancing they are using disposables for Pedicure spa and you can also purchase your own brand new personal nail care kit to take or leave it there til your next visit i felt completely safe taking me and my 2 daughter they also have complimentary beverages for you as well.. (VERY CLEAN)

Came in and waited 45 minutes to get my nails done. I understand how busy it can get but to make matters worse another girl comes in and immediately gets taken care of. I questioned why she was going ahead of me and they had nothing to say. Just stared at me and had nothing to say. Iv been a customer for a year and this will be my last visit. Time to look for a new salon.

Came to get a Luxury Pedicure this evening, I am disappointed about my pedicure. Nothing luxury about it. I still have callus on the side of ny feet. I will not return to this salon.

I really like the people here. They were exceptionally nice. I have been getting my nails done here for about a month, but today was my last visit.Every time I come in, I always have to go back for a repair less than a week later. Chipping gel, color fade, and uneven nails. I have never had clean tools used on me (TWICE I saw them drop things on the floor and then proceed to use them on me afterwards).I really wish that this place worked out. Unfortunately, I cant keep pouring money into a place who cant do a good job the first time.Today I went in for a gel repaint, as my last color (a light purple which I got 4 days ago) turned an ugly brown color around the edge and they appeared cracked. They accused me of dyeing my hair (I hadnt) and charged me 15 dollars at a discount because I didnt want the same color for fear of it happening again.I really hope that others have better luck going here!

Excellent service with quality polish. Luxury pedicure is a must try. Massage with hot stone rock and candle wax is super relaxing. They do very good at manicure including acrylic and dipping. Big variety of polish color and all technician are extremely friendly.

Been coming here for my manicure and pedicure for over four years, everyone is very professional and the salon is very clean. My nails always come out looking beautiful. I really enjoy the way Juli does my nails.

I give 5 stars because my experience was great. Ive passed this place many times while driving and I finally found them on Google. I stopped in today and I must say Im satisfied the staff here is all smiles and super friendly the service was exactly what I desired and not to mention quick! Most of the time quick jobs arent good ones but thats not the case in this situation. If youre looking for a nail spa come to Amethia Nail & Spa and I recommend Tony for nails and Ping for eyebrows. This is my favorite place to get my manicure/pedicure. They always do a quality job and they have the magical nail gel that makes my manicure last for weeks without chipping or peeling.The place is clean, affordable, and they really go the extra mile to take of you and make you feel comfortable. Its a great place to just go by yourself or go with your girlfriends. My  friend birthday party came here the day before and we got our nails done and we had so much fun!Ive been to several different nail salons and this one is the best, hands down.

I took my mom there last week. She loves her nail done here because the quality is great and the place is always super clean.

I would not recommend this nail shop to my friends. The nail tech I had was friendly, but I dont believe she did a good job. I had an acrylic, rounded set with gel overlay. The shape was done well and it looked good at first. Overall, it costed around $40 before tip which I was expecting. However, the next day, I had bubbles underneath every single nail. I also realized the acrylic tips that were used on my nails were incredibly flimsy and would bend at the top of the nail. There was actually a piece of my nail that had lifted because they were acrylic painted on top of the corner of my cuticle. They barely lasted 4 days before they were popping off.

I just moved to this town and have been trying out new nail salons. I THOUGHT this one would be a good fit but when my nail they claimed to have fixed, popped right off after only 4 days like it was a fake nail from the dollar store while moving a tiny pillow, I realized I was sadly mistaken. I will never again waste my money coming to this place. I’d be better off throwing my money down the drain. I called and the person said they MIGHT can fix it for me.. there is absolutely NO reason whatsoever nails that I pay almost $40 for should be popping off like that only a few days later.

The atmosphere here is amazing! The salon is very clean and the chairs are comfortable. I went in with my daughter to get a manicure and my daughter and I love it. The nail ladys there are very friendly and fun to talk. We felt very welcome, unlike some other salons Ive been to. I will be coming here again with my daughter soon!

Im new to the area and Im happy to have found this as my new go-to nail salon. Very friendly staff, the gentleman that did my nails took his time and did an amazing job!

I recently moved to the Tampa area and was in search of a good nail salon, so my friend and I decided to try this place out because it had 4.5 stars. We called ahead (by a few minutes because another place we tried was by appointment only). When we got there we were told to sit down at the tables and someone would be with us. I was patiently sitting and an older woman approachedd me and started to work on my nails, she was very nice and soft spoken. Ad she started to work on my nails I noticed her hands were very shaky, but I didnt pay too much attention to it because she was doing her job. When she started to clean my cuticle and buff them it was fine, and then she started to clip my nails....it was at this time that she had clipped a small chunk of skin from my finger. It hurt like hell but she didnt mean to, she put the medicine on it and continued to work on my hands, but she got a tiny bit rough with the finger that she had already bruised. When she started to paint my nails is when it got problematic, it was sloppy: there was polish on my fingers (And over the bruised area, which burned terribly) and it looked like a 3 yo painted my nails. I felt as though I had bubble nails because there was so much polish and it was so poorly applied. I asked them to take the polish off and I ended up just getting clear polish. The people around got very rude and were saying you pay before he paint your nails so he wont mess up. After my service the 3 people that were at the front of the shop kept yelling for me to pay, which I felt as though I should not have paid since I was unsatisfied and I left with a cut finger, deeply cut I may add.

I scheduled my appointment online and received a 10% discount! Ana was wonderful and did a beautiful job with both gel mani and basic pedi. The salon was clean and peaceful. Thank you! I will definitely return!

If I could’ve given this place 0 stars, I would’ve. I called beforehand and was told me and my sister could get two appointments 15 minutes apart. After waiting for over 40 minutes I was still not seen too. By the time they called me up, my sister was already done.The place smelled heavily of fumes and was headache inducing. Horrible customer service. So much for a sister bonding experience.

Ive came in before but left to go to a better salon over the past year. I just wanted to get dip off my nails and get them trimmed down. Mary could not shape my nails or trim them evenly. I had to make her go back over them again. She also took multiple texting breaks in the middle of buffing and drilling my dip off. The equipment and the salon is always dirty. My mistake giving them another chance for a simple service. Still left with my nails uneven and unshaped. Would not recommend.

I have been a normal customer but the woman that did my nails today did not do a great job. First when I told her to cut my nails down she did exactly what I asked for but this is when I got frustrated. As she was filling my nails she made 3 nails shorter than the other two on the left hand and on the right hand the pointer finger nail isn’t even square it’s round AND she buffered the acrylic so close to my real nails, WHICH IS WHAT I DID NOT WANT. Secondly after I left I had to drive back because she did not paint one of my nails all the way. Last but not least one of my nails is chipped. I’ve been having acrylic nails for years and this is the FIRST time someone has messed up my nails and did not fix what I asked to be fixed. I will no longer come here, and for what she charged me for my nails is unexceptionable for the job she did.

Ive been coming here for over 10 years. I love that the owners and same staff are there from when I first started coming, and the level of hygiene. I have my own nail kit that they store .

Spent 2 hours to get my nails soaked off and re done. An older lady who never offered her name did them. My hands don’t match. She cut my nails too short on one hand and glued on tips wish she had no business doing. Acrylic is missing in spots on some fingers. My polish is all bubbly. Staff was aggressive with suggestions of products and services. And 45 dollars to walk around embarrassed to let people see my hands. Defiantly won’t be coming back.

I got the dip gel done and it was awful. They’re chunky, uneven, weird shapes...And he sliced my pinky while filing my nails.He seemed nice and didn’t speak the whole time (which was great for me cause I hate small talk) but he had 0 attention to detail and just kind of whisked through the whole process.It looks like I’ve had them for a week already cause they’re so far from the cuticle.They advertise discounts if booked online - but you’ll have to say something. I used the student discount and my price went from 35 to 33 (so I just gave them 40). I was expecting 25 as I didn’t get any sort of add ons and that wasn’t the advertised price. 35 is a fair price based on other places of quality. I was expecting a “you get what you pay for” type deal but when the price matched other salons with higher ratings and better results...I was surprised.I definitely don’t mind paying for quality...but this wasn’t it.I posted a photo/video of my nails on my insta story and was flooded with people asking if I asked for a refund and where I went because of how bad it is. So it definitely wasn’t just me.I won’t be returning. And hope no one else splurges just to be let down (and cut lol)=(

AMAZING love this place for pedicures! The water temp is always on point. Clean tools used every time, all employees tend to only speak english even while speaking amongst themselves. Which I appreciate as it sets a better tone. You dont feel like they are talking about you/or another patron. Tons of different colors. Clean bathroom. Love this place.

Never again. First time was OK. Second time was the worst nail experience Ive ever had. Im truly disgusted by the nails Im now having to wear in front of people. The polish was running, the edges are rough and over lapped onto my skin. The woman even cut not one but TWO of my fingers with the drill file. 😢
