Summit Ridge has been a great place to live. The staff here are amazing especially Veronica Aguirre. Anytime I called or needed anything she was always willing to lend that helping hand. Veronica is an awesome person hands down and I’m grateful and appreciative that I got to know her. If you’re looking for somewhere to call home give Veronica a call. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Veronica!!!
I can’t say enough great things about Veronica!!! She’s absolutely AMAZING, and made my whole moving experience the easiest I’ve ever done. I’m a traveling nurse and moved here to Lewisville rather quickly for a job. Veronica made the application process so easy and I was actually able to move in and get everything set up before I started at my new job. She is so thoughtful and really goes WAY above and beyond to take care of the needs of the residents! She is so kind, authentic, and really knows how to make you feel like you’re home! Thank you so much for everything you did and continue to do for all of us here at Summit Ridge! You’re the best!!
These apartments are getting 5 stars solely because of Veronica. Veronica made everything super easy and aside from that she was on top of everything. I have never had anyone else be this attentive anywhere I’ve ever rented. What’s better than feeling like your being welcomed home and you haven’t even moved in? Now living here no questions go unanswered and she’s always there if I need anything.
Been here 6 months and these apartments are nothing short of amazing. Kelly made my moving experience easy & smooth. Veronica is nice and helpful. Rick and Xavier are always on top of things here. Would definitely recommend
Our leasing agent, Veronica, has done an amazing job taking care of my fiancé and I while moving in to Summit Ridge. Her communication is always friendly, quick, and courteous. She has gone above and beyond helping us get things set up at the new place. We are really enjoying our apartment at Summit Ridge.
Veronica Aquirre was amazing at helping me figure out the application process and getting me approved. We got everything figured out and she worked with me. Veronica was personable. I dont feel like Ill be renting from a company but from a human.
5 stars! I love my home. I moved in the beginning of February 2020. The start of the pandemic. I enjoyed the pool all by myself! Now that my lease was coming up for renewal ..I struggled looking for a 2 bedroom when all I had to do was let the ladies in the office know. Sure enough Veronica, Melissa & Kelly are true GEMS! I will be moving into my 2 bedroom and cant be happier! If youre looking for a HOME SWEET HOME this would be the place.
I had a great experience at Summit Ridge, the staff was exceptional, especially Veronica. She was polite, sincere, and very professional. I highly recommend this apartment complex.
Ive lived at Summit Ridge-Lewisville for 3 months. The apartment itself is nice and cozy. I have the larger 1bdrm thats not upgraded but it definitely looks like it. I really enjoy going home after work and being at home on weekends especially during this Covid pandemic (with the exception of the noisy upstairs neighbors.) Veronica was my leasing agent and she has been absolutely freakin amazing! Her attitude, demeanor, and dress/style is fashionable and professional always. she is very kind and always helpful and is really concerned about the tenants well being. I absolutely Love her! Melissa/Rasha/Rick definitely need a people skills course they are rude and condescending and do not know how to speak to people on a professional level period. I try to avoid going into the office unless its absolutely necessary to not have to encounter them especially Melissa. I spoke to Kelly several times and she was pleasant. If I am not mistaken Rick has left which is a good thing because Xavier has been on point with the work orders!
Juan is awesome! He’s always attentive and very helpful. Always a pleasure speaking to him.
I lived here for a couple of years. I would say after Porsha left I didn’t know what to expect, bcuz Kelly and the manager wasn’t any help but Veronica came in and it was smooth sailing from there, very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Speak with or ask for Veronica if ever needing any assistance!
Out of all the apartments in Tucson this one seemed to be the best! Kritzell had amazing customer service and was very helpful! Can’t wait to put in my application!
Courteous & professional leasing staff and a dependable maintenance team.
This complex is very clean, feels safe and staff is very friendly.
Kelley was awesome! started new job in Lewisville,TX had one week to make all my arrangements while still working 200 miles away. She made everything flawless and took so much pressure off of me. Great communication. Apartment as described no hidden expenses. Highly recommend.
The ladies in the office are responsive and approachable. As a resident, I would love if they would get the residents who have dogs to utilize the Dog Space. Many of us hate the way it smells when we walk outside. The grounds are a huge toilet. If they do not utilize the space given to their pets, they should be fined. After playing tennis or walking my skin ad hair smell like I dipped into urine. I like these apartments because the complex itself is small and the neighbors are friendly. We all can be a part of making this a wonderful community, though the owners and staff must have that same vision and continue to be responsive in its sustainability and to its nice abundance.
Melissa is a horrible property manager. We have been having HVAC problems plumbing problems water leak problems roach problems and more. Her response was since you are home all day because of covid things will keep breaking down. So basically if you are home alot do not move to these apartments because they can not handle people being home all day where they pay rent to be safe and not worry about all of these problems. This has been the worst move ever
This complex is wonderful - the leasing ladies, Kelly and Porsha are amazing, they are friendly and truly care about your housing experience here. I moved here and was able to secure a good deal, and the process was so simple and great. Zero issues or problems. Great people and affordable rent makes this place a hidden gem. Recommend highly if you can commute to and from this location, you wont find better elsewhere.
I moved in at the end of December and was delightfully greeted by the leasing agent Kelly in the office. She listened to my wants and concerns and found the perfect apartment. I’ve had one or two maintenance issues since I’ve been here and they were addressed immediately and professionally. Porsche, the assistant manager of the property has been fantastic anytime I’ve had a concern or question. They have multiple theme nights for residents as well as for their pets. This is a wonderful place to live and I would recommend it to anybody.
I really enjoy living here! Helpful staff and nice apartment!
Cool & relaxed apartments. Not a lot of people hanging around at night. Pretty quiet and clean and even though its not a brand new property, its looks pretty damn good. The pool is a cool hangout spot too. My friends always compliment me on my place when they come to visit. Maintenance is sometimes slow but you always see them working so I dont complain. I
Ok so this is my first time doing a review EVER, but I am so impressed with the staff at Summit Ridge I just had to give them their props. They made everything smooth and convenient, unlike some experiences Ive had moving in the past. On the day I picked up keys, the housekeeper was making the final touch-ups so everything was fresh and clean ( which is important because Im a total neat freak). I moved in to an apartment on the 3rd floor and so far so good. They give you a free covered parking spot so thats super convenient when I have groceries. I also have a large dog so I was worried about how things would go. Im proud to say, my dog actually has a social life on this property. Really enjoying having a nice place that I can call home.
Very Nice apartments, and professional staff.Oh by the way Melissa was really helpful and attentive to my needs, and questions.
They are VERY DECEITFUL. They lied about the layout of my apartment. They also come into your apartment unannounced and can take awhile to complete work orders.
Summit Ridge has been a great apartment to live in! Front office is very nice and knows our name. Its a community that welcomes everybody. Dont let the bad reviews fool you. Management has worked hard to turn this place around. Also dont miss out on the neighborhood dog named Izzy. Shes a special little lady. This has been my first apartment and I dont want to leave!
Been here for 8 months and I literally love it. Clean, safe, office staff is AWESOME!!! free guest parking, no towing, pest control, valet trash, right by 35 and 407; LOVE SUMMIT RIDGE!!!
Great Apts! Great Staff! I have been here for 1 year now! ❤ Porsha and Kelly ( Great people and Professionals ) in the office. The amenities are Superb!
IVE been here a little over 2 years. Porsha has been here as long as I have! Shes amazing, caring, understanding, and very helpful! She was there when my grandmother passed away last March. Kelly makes it a point to come out from her desk to greet me and call me by name. (Very friendly and always willing to help) Melissa asked me if there is anything she can do. (Awesome office manager)Mike the maintenance guy is awesome!!!Ive met a lot of people thats been here 3 to 10 years and they love it! I moved from a 2 bedroom to a 1, the transition was so smooth! I like the fact that they Always try to do things like painting with a twist, movies at the pool, toy drive, Halloween movie night, Porsha dressed up like Santas helper and read books there were snacks for the kids and pictures with Santa!!!!!... It was nice and my grand daughter loved it. Ive been at bad apartments where they dont greet you and is very cold after you sign your lease and these are not one of them!!!!!The staff is Awesome!!!!!
So far so good. Only complaint I had when we moved in around April was maintenance was really slow. Like, Months out slow. But after getting to know Cleo (The Maintenance Manager) I found out that he was the only one working there in maintenance. They have recently gotten like 3 more people to help out which is awesome. The people are great and I have not had any problems with the Office whatsoever. Also, Anyone I come across in the complex so far has been really nice or they keep to themselves. We will renew come April.Update 10/12/2018So far so good. We had a great move in experience a couple years ago and we are actually transferring into a new unit soon. Management seems to be very attentive to trash while we have been here and they send out emails notifying people of rent, trash, pet control, light fixings, etc. I know there has been a bit of change the past couple months up front but I hope everything keeps going the way it is.Pros:upgraded units are very nicePrice is not horribleLocation is greatPet owners are attentive to security and safetyMost people I meet are niceUsually pretty quiet at nightCons:Tennis court has kind of gone to shambles despite being told when we moved in they were about to fix it (I WANT TO PLAY TENNIS)Areas in front of the apartments like bushes and grass need to be redoneGym needs much needed attention- majority of the equipment there are missing partsyou MUST request for bug spraying or they will not come in your apartment monthly and do it even though you pay for it.Im hoping for another great year with this complex in our new unit and I am hoping to see some improvements here and there. If its good and I see improvements I will bump it up that last star and vice versa if it gets worse. I like to keep things up to date.
We lived in “Summit Ridge” for a year. It was an awful experience for me and my family. No one walked through the apartment, when we got the key. We noticed some of the problems and let the leasing office know, but found some other minor problems and did not mention them. When we moved out the leasing office accounted them and deducted from our deposit. The maintenance of “Summit Ridge” was horrible. We needed to call the leasing office several times, put note for them to get maintenance people in the apartment. They usually DID NOT have ANY idea to fix the problem, and finally we were just told that we will come back. Again we needed to follow up a lot to get them back. My wife went several times to the leasing office and described the situation to the manager, but their behavior did not change. For example, we had an issue with one of the electrical outlets. The maintenance person came and tried to fix it. The hair dryer was there and he used it to check the outlet. The hair dryer burned and when my wife repined, he just smiled and said I know.We moved into the apartment on Jul 20, 2016 based on the contract. After two months, when we bought the home insurance up to Jul 20, 2017, the leasing office enforced us to sign an amendment which accordingly they wanted us to move out of the apartment a week earlier on Jul 16, 2017. When I repined and asked for the reason, they said this is our policy. You have to move out of the apartment on weekends only, and Jul 20 is not a weekend. In addition to our deposit ($225), the leasing office charged us for extra $138, because of the damages we made to the apartment. While I am certain that we returned the apartment to the leasing office exactly like what it was.The back and front entrance gate was open for most of the time, it got fixed lately. At the end, I would like to say that the new manager tried to make things more organized and honestly things including the maintenance got better, but it was too late. However, their behavior when we wanted to move out in terms of payments and charges was very bad. We tried to explain to them a lot that we did not damage the apartment, and all damages were there before we get into, but they charged us unfairly.
I wasnt able to get an apartment with them, well at least yet. However, Rochelle gave me excellent customer service and even offered advice on my current situation which was great because she couldve ended the phone call after telling I wouldnt meet the requirements. Great customer service!
I lived in this community for a year and wish I could have stayed longer. The mangers for this community was very nice and on-time with all maintenance request. They were always eager to help out in any situation. The apartment homes are nice and neat. The apartments are well kept. There are some park problems in the complex but thats normal with such a small community. I will miss living here. Please stop by and take a look. Nice people, neighbors and price.
Kelley May is absolutely fantastic!! She helped me throughout the entire process of getting into a new apartment as well as had answers to all my questions. 😃
I absolutely love this property and my experience thus far has been amazing. My rockstar leasing agent Tashia has been absolutely amazing and upfront and honest! I can’t wait to move in! This property’s maintenance seems up to par and the amenities are awesome. Does your property offer massages from a licenses masseuse??? Summit Ridge does!! Thanks for everything and I look forward to the tenant -leasing relationship going forward.
Live somewhere else.On last month of lease, let them know two weeks out that leak was coming from ceiling. We moved out and I kept checking back over those two weeks and it was still leaking. Called them twice more and even called the emergency line once, but it was still leaking when we turned in keys. Then they give me a large bill at move out claiming we didnt properly make them aware of the mold. I say theres a bad leak and I can see what spots in ceiling, but that somehow is not making them aware of mold?Obviously they knew we were moving out so they didnt care to fix the problem, then want to make us responsible for the damage that continued as they chose not to fix it. Had already paid them a double month to get out of lease early on top of it. Its sad that they want to take advantage of people because they chose not to fix a problem promptly.
Peaceful and quiet. no issues at all and even maintenance calls were taken care of right away. Would have stayed but moved into a home
I got my second apt ever here and it’s mainly because of the way ms.Porsha presented the property she is very passionate about her job, will try and accommodate your needs.
I called last minute Friday desperately seeking a place. I needed to move from my dwelling by the next day. I was searching all over for a place. When I saw Summit Ridge, peace came over me. I called, friendly voice named Tashia answered, she was pleasant, was very helpful, and personable. I applied for the apartment only viewing the photos online, and prayed that they would look just like the photos online. I finally made it to the apartments afterwork, and it was exactly what I was looking for! You won’t be disappointed if you rent here. Everyone is so friendly in the office, great features around the community, and it’s perfect with a chronic migraine sufferer, meaning it’s QUIET!!! I’ve viewed a lot of apartments these past few weeks, and these by far have the best office staff, community, location, light traffic, and a little community that you will love!
Lovely Apartments. Staff has great caring attitudes.Ryan in leasing is a gem.Rochelle is a very caring manager.Dave is there and a good listener for his clients.Good job team!
Ive been a resident for almost 10 years. A good experience in any apartment complex comes down to the staff - Ive seen the place change hands at least once, and the staff come and go. The current girls at the apartment are great. Working with Porsha is especially so! She genuinely cares about tenant satisfaction, and Im always glad to sit down in her office. One star knocked off for being a little pricey relative to the location. Decent unit quality and sound-proofing. Ground-floor tenants can expect poison resistant ants - the only solution to them is cleanliness.
I have lived here for 4 years. Several mgmt changes. Office staff doesnt seem to care about issues-they dont respond to emails, and when you go in the office they are either out or youll find the doors locked. Maintenance turnovers have caused delays in getting repairs done. Dog waste is everywhere-dog park is disgusting. The hot tub has not worked since I moved in. The pool was either closed or green most of last summer. Workout equipment in the so called gym is broken. Building lights needed for safety go out and arent fixed. This property has potential, but it is getting run down and not maintained. Rent goes up at each renewal, but you dont get what you pay for here. **The glowing review youll find on here from Tashia Lynch can be discounted-she was an asst mgr at this complex-and quit. The 5 stars youll also see from Wendy Harris-discount that as well-she works for the management company. Nice try to boost your rating!3/19 update: still no repairs on lights out on the property-hot tub still doesnt work. Ive been told for 2 years now that the pool/spa and tennis court areas are going to be remodeled-it hasnt happened yet and no one will reply to my emails regarding this. No net at the tennis court, it is the kid hang out. This place has been going down for several years.4/5 update: since mgmt has seen my review I received a notice on my door that when my lease is up I do not have the option to renew. Retaliation/Discrimination is what they do! I wasnt planning on renewing since they have nothing to offer except rent increases. I cannot wait to move out. The first year was good, but the last 2 have gone from bad to worse.
Upon move in the apartment wasn’t clean and renovation was rushed. I live toward the back of the property so it seems forgotten area like dog poop pick up and loud music being played in cars. Everyone seems very nice. The spa hasn’t worked since I moved in, the a/c units are very inefficient and there doesn’t seem to be any sound barrier between floors. The front buildings and areas seem to be well groomed and picked up and declines as you get further into the property. Trash, grills, dog poop and smoking is terrible around my apartment. I had hopes for a great experience and Porsha is courteous and helpful but seems overwhelmed with complaints and other duties as she’s been the only person on staff since I moved in. This has been the worst apartment experience I’ve had so far! Thinking I won’t renew my lease.
I have been renting/ leasing apartments for the past 5 years and have not had as poor as an experience as I have had here. When my wife and I first looked at the apartments the manager was very helpful but once we signed the lease the experience was completely different. When we came move in our belongings there was a STRONG paint smell at move in. My wife being pregnant we could not move in. To be nice we let that go. Then we did the initial walk through and the apartment had not been cleaned move in. We were polite about it and the manager sent her make ready person that only brought a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. So we just decided to clean our selves. We also had a few things that needed to be repaired in the apartment and after an 8 month lease they never got around to it. Even after we expressed to the manager our concerns and did a walk through again 6 months later. Needless to say our kindness was taken advantage of. These are not terrible apartments but the management staff lacks customer service.
The office staff goes out of its way to help the tenants. they are always friendly.
Awesome prices, and amazing location! Love the office staff :)
DO NOT VISIT ANYONE AT THIS COMPLEX, EVEN FAMILY! I went to visit my daughter at summit ridge, I parked in the wrong spot (there are no signs) and they towed my truck to Dallas and it cost me $300 to get my truck out. The manager is terrible, very arrogant and short tempered. I cant imagine anyone enjoying speaking with her. PLEASE, PROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS FROM THIS PLACE, LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
RATS RATS RATS.... way overpriced for what they offer.. im stuck under contract and there is a rat infestation, in the walls, ceiling, AIR conducts... I will file a complaint at the department of health since the office have not done ANYTHING about the rats... DO NOT COME TO SUMMIT RIDGE!!
I had a great experience living at the Summit Ridge Apartments in Lewisville! Coming from NY where rent and quality of living is much more expensive, Summit Ridge was affordable and worth every penny. I never had a problem with management (even though management changed within the two years I was there), maintenance or my neighbors. Any issues I did have (very few I might add), it was addressed in a timely manner. Everyones experience is different, however once you realized that those who work in the office have to accommodate and meet all the residents needs (which could be 100:1) youll have a lot more compassion for them. They really do go above and beyond for their residents and I have seen them do it time and time again even for those I did not know. I highly recommend Summit Ridge if you are looking for an affordable, clean, management friendly environment! If I didnt have to change my city of residence, I would have continued to renew my lease for another year or two! Dont Hesitate! Rent from Summit Ridge Apartments in Lewisville!
I currently live here and cannot express how many times ive asked for an issue to be taken care of and not ONCE has it been dealt with. Beautiful apartments, but awful service.
****You will read in her post that she did everything she could however nothing was ever completed completely. We didn’t have a to bar In the bath since day one, how is that being taken care of? Also they gave us upgraded appliances but we had to pay for them? Lol. Obviously she isn’t professional since she wants to blast everything on here. 😂**** When my husband and I first looked at these apartments the manager was so nice so we took a chance. After being here for 8 months I can say that this has been the worst apartment complex we have ever lived in. When we first moved in the apartment hadn’t been cleaned so they sent someone out with paper towels and windex? Then we put in maintenance request from the beginning and when we moved out in July they had not been completed fully. The manager did a walk thru to see what needed to be done and get things STILL weren’t completed. Also, we had ants in our apartment and they were suppose to send out the carpet people since the ants were in the carpet and the people never showed up. I informed the manager and she never followed up! I have a newborn so trying to do tummy time was not fun & she knew we had a baby. I just am so disappointed in the customer service we received. Porsha is so rude and Rochelle really doesn’t remember anything to follow up with you. Overall I do not recommend living here. Apartment complex is going down hill.
Great community and neighbors! Also nice apartments 👍
Its really nice and everyone is so nice and the pool is really fun
This is going to be my last year here. If you want a key replaced it will cost you 75 dollars. That’s insane. Service is awful.
Nice Apartment
My time living at summit ridge was ok for most part especially after Veronica left I don’t see how she has a lot of good reviews when she is nothing nice and she laughed at me while I was getting harassed but overall very quiet area I really appreciate Melissa for everything and also the new leasing assistant for understanding through everything thanks again
I have lived in this group since January, at the beginning the attention was fantastic. Verónica was a person who liked to help and who always took care of you in a good way. But a month ago they changed the administration, the new people there give terrible attention, they treat you in a bad way, they are rude, they want to attend you quickly and get you out of the way, you send requests or emails and they never review them…. really very bad attention to residents !!
Very bad place to live at the beginning with the previous administration everything excellent, now with the new administration it is getting worse and worse the secretariats are the rudest people, Ive been waiting for trash can for 7 months and they never give it to me, so they can come to solve a problem for you You have to wait weeks, Mrs. Diana is the most pedantic and rude person she cannot be working there, here you pay to live well and have good service and in reality it is the worst, they treat you the worst.
Excellent place
