I had my manicure here and I absolutely loved it! The lady who did my nails took her time and I felt like I was the only one in the room, however, when I got my pedicure done I am thinking I must’ve had the owner or some thing because he hardly paid any attention to me he was up and down away from my station answering everyone’s questions and the phone and talking to people at the door and I felt like he was more running around and he was in front of me doing my pedicure and taking care of me. I paid for a VIP package $70 and I feel like it was a waste of my money. He did a good neat job on my nails but that’s it for $70! I am very upset about this 😟... I will come again because I’ve had good experiences and good work but I hope I don’t get the same man. If you are the owner and have to take care of everything else maybe you shouldn’t take a client if you can’t give your full attention to them. Thank you

After searching for a good nail salon for a few days, I decided to make an appointment at Luxurys Nail due to the 4.6 average review and glowing remarks left by other customers. I got a pedicure and a manicure as a treat for myself. Tina did my pedicure and did a great job. She made sure I was comfortable and brought me a tasty pineapple drink while she did my toes - very kind! Then, I had Lynn for my manicure. Lynn is super sweet and I had a great time chatting with her! Its been a week since Ive gotten my nails done and they are staying on firm (I got gel on hands and feet). This is much better than experiences at other places Ive been to where the gel pops off before I even get 1 week out of them. I dont even see a sign of the gel lifting from my fingers. (I accidentally broke a pinky nail the other day - ouch - and the half of the nail that remains still has gel on firmly attached!) Lol. Anyhow, I will definitely go back there the next time I want my nails done (:

I LOVE this place. Everyone has their favorite nail technician, but mine is Kelly. I have to have my nails short for work and she knows exactly how I like them. They take GREAT care of me and my 4 year old that comes in for just a polish. I could not recommend a more personal place! Clean, they do an amazing job and they feel like family.

Place seemed to be a good one to go.I was looking for a place with little girl chairs to take my daughter for mani and pedi for her birthday pedicures and daughters mani were great. I got a full set showed a picture of what I was wanting they seemed like they had the right nail tech for what I wanted. I ended up with nothing close to what I had showed I decided to keep them they weren’t too bad next day broke a nail super easy, I bearly touched something and it broke next day another nail broke. I will never go back I tipped good and it was all a waste of $$. I guess you have to be a regular to get the right treatment or get good quality

By far the friendliest and highest quality nail salon I’ve ever visited. I went with a wedding party and we all had an amazing time. I’ve given this place way to many chances to redeem themselves from previous customer service issues. I came in simply to get my dipping powder removed - if you don’t have time then simply tell me instead of leaving my fingers in acetone for 30 minutes and rushing to remove them in between clients - filing so quick that nail pieces were spraying all over me, and making me feel like an inconvenience. My nails were almond shape when I came in and he just cut them straight across due to his time shortage - Worst customer service & won’t be returning

I have been visiting this spa for over a year. If they are busy and you walk in, they are very quick to get you sat and start on your nails. Extremely clean and always accommodating friendly staff. I work on my feet all day and the pedicures make me feel like a new woman. I love Mr T, Jackie and the new owner but all the techs do a good job. Mr T is extremely meticulous which makes him particularly talented at beautiful french tips, my favorite style. Pricing is affordable. I will be driving from my new apartment downtown to continue to patronize this lovely salon. Thanks luxury’s nails!!

Luxury’s Nail & Spa is one of the best places to get high quality beautiful nails done in the KC area. They’re always willing to work with you to find the most suitable appointment time and are flexible to your own needs.The staff is welcoming, never rush through their work and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Oh, and the pedicures feel absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is super clean and they focus really hard on keeping equipment sanitized, which I find important.I’ve been to a lot of places, but this definitely tops off at the top of my list. I do not think they use clean tools. Be careful! I got a fungal infection on my nail after a manicure, thought it was just me. I had to go to the dermatologist. Then got a viral infection on my foot after a pedicure. My doc said stay away from there. I never see the tools being sanitized. I really watched last time. Maybe I’m wrong. Just watch out.

I just moved to Missouri and was ready to start trying out nail salons to find my permanent shop. Maysy’s caught me by surprise. Who knew I’d find my spot first day. I could not be more happy with how our employee Holiday party went at Maisy’s! They were so accommodating as I asked about playing Christmas music and having all the employees there so 11 of us could go together. They put my girls On a pedestal! All of them said it was the best holiday party yet! I can’t thank all the employees at Maisy’s enough. Perfect night and great looking nails!

Ripped skin from between my toe nail and skin that didn’t need to be cleared. Was very obviously bleeding and instead of apologizing, the guy laughed with his coworker and said something to her in a foreign language. Proceeded to pour alcohol and other lotions all over the wound as I was very obviously flinching and in pain. When he painted my nails, he only did one coat. It was thin and didn’t even cover the whole nail, not to mention streaky as hell. In short I walked around with nine semi-painted toes and one red toe that continued leaking blood for at least 25 minutes after the pedicure. As other comments have mentioned, they also charge 10 up of their competitors. Save your money and go somewhere else that has the decency to not injure you and to paint your nails correctly, as a business should.

The manicure and pedicure were great! The staff was friendly and did a nice job. I thought I had found my new nail place until I got to the register to pay. They charged me $40 for a pedicure and an extra $25 for gel polish. (Mind you there was no soak off of other polish. I had regular polish on my nails) this is completely outrageous! I talked to the owner and she said “find me another nail salon who doesn’t charge this much” and I did! Across the parking lot at Son Risa. It was $100 for a manicure and pedicure. It definitely was NOT worth the price.

I’ve gone twice to Maysy’s now. I was going to have my bridal party get our nails done there but not after my experience. I went to try out the place and told them I was thinking about coming for my wedding... I found a color of dip in the basket that matched for my wedding that I wanted to try but was told they didn’t have that color! She spent little time trying to find it and asked to choose a different color and I explained I wanted that specific color that would be in my wedding. Another employee ended up actually looking and found my color. The whole service was HORRIBLE! And I had said my bridal party might coming and she did nothing to go above and beyond to make me want to even come back my self let alone 12 other people I was planning on bringing with to their store. Then I went to get my eye brows done and I was rudely told to lay my head back. I was not taken care of well AT ALL! I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!!!!!

I did not make an appointment, the wait wasnt bad. I got a full set (acrylic nail) with gel polish. The service was good, the prices are on the higher end, which I dont mind if the quality matches. However, the gel polish bubbled and was peeling after the third day... I will definitely give them another try, I would just expect more from a place that is about $10.00 higher on average than their local competitors.

Literally had to walk out of the place for how they treated two customers in front of me.The first issue was we couldnt tell where I the line started and who was helping who. A well dressed young woman whose appointment had been bumped was ahead of us. I thought she was being helped by a gal behind the counter, so when the store manager, (?) a guy, started asking my sister and I about setting up an appointment I went ahead and started talking to him. Lo and behold, he had completely ignored the woman with the bumped appointment in favor of making a new appointment.So we went to what we now could tell was the back of the line, only to witness absolutely terrible customer service in action. The second lady in line had requested a certain nail color using the example nails. She picked no. 51, a pale pink. Well a couple layers later she has hot pink nails. The guy blamed the customer for not complaining after the first coat, blamed the manicurist for not stopping after the first coat, refused to correct the problem, and then literally waved his hand in dismissal and said bye!My sister and I turned around and walked out. No way are we interested in supporting a business with such rotten service practices.
