My Ram 3500 had a check engine light come on. I stopped at the local parts store and they diagnosed it as a DEF pump failure. Expensive part at over $800. I checked for Diesel repair shops and found Flying Diesel. Called and advised of the diagnosis and wanted to get a repair estimate. Phone person said they would diagnose it and make sure the pump had indeed failed as well as do a safety inspection. Dropped it off, a day early as I missrememberd the date. Got a call from the shop while I was away from the phone. No message left by the caller. Looked up the number then called them back.Long story short, the shop rep and I got off on a bad foot. After I brought my truck back home I got a call from a Mr Franco (sorry if I misspelled the name) who asked for a second chance. I took the truck back and they got into the mechanical situation for a full diagnostic. The Flow line from the DEF pump was crimped by a rock that got thrown up into it somehow. They replaced the line but the pump was toast. They tried nationwide for a pump, as did I and there are none available. They kept in touch on a daily basis with me about the situation. I brought the truck back home since with up to a 3 to 6 month wait time on a pump, if a pump gets manufactured, there was no reason to leave it cluttering up their yard.I do recommend the shop for future work and will bring it back once a pump is found somewhere somehow.

By far the best diesel shop in the United States. these guys truly care and will not stop until you are 100% satisfied. I will never go to anyone else for my vehicles.

They kept vehicle for almost a year. After telling them that if they couldn’t get it working in another week I would have it towed to another place they miraculously got it finished. To my disappointment it’s still not running right. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this place and I will need to take it to another place to get it running properly.

I was recommended to call this shop for some needed transmission work. I spoke to Franco multiple times on multiple occasions and could tell i was not a priority. The last time i spoke with him ( over 2 weeks ago now ) I told him to quote me on something and he never called me back. If they did not want to do the work or whatever the case may be is fine, but i at least need to be informed. I have taken my business to Gerald Kosub transmissions and my experience with them has been great.

If it’s diesel they can fix it. Or swap it or rebuild it or whatever you need done. I drove my truck 600 miles from Nola bc I knew they’d do it right. Most knowledgeable & genuine mechanics in hill country

Passing thru town, fuel pump went out, the guys had me on the road in 2 hours. Totally shocked, in a good way.

Great customer service. This place goes above an beyond any expectations so that your completely satisfied with any work they do. FDP is about 4.5 hours away from me, with such good service I have no problem making that long drive to get my truck serviced or any work I want done to it. Also being I live so far away I find it very helpful anytime I have a problem there very good about helping me find or resolve the situation over the phone, no matter what time it is. Ross and his team totally turned my Ford 6.4 truck into new truck. I would drive it anywhere without worrying if will break down. If you own a deisel truck, this is the only place to use for any repairs, tunings or upgrades.
