I used to love this place. Lately they shuffle you between 3 people to get you in and out. I still go back because they usually do a good job. Tonight, the older lady (who I’ve never had before but gosh she makes it painful and in relaxing) starts working on me unmasked and audibly sniffling. I ask if she is sick and she denies it. Continues clearing her throat and sniffling. Meanwhile being incredibly rough with my pedicure. I finally spoke to Helen and told her this person was sick and she just tried to get her to put a mask on. I never even put my feet in the water, and just left. In the current day, this is completely unacceptable. Sadly I’ll never go back here.

Went to get a fill in on a 9 day old previously done fill in that didn’t look great. While the nails themselves looked good initially…. Not only was I charged $50 for a fill in! No other issues, but the first nail just completely came off 2 days later followed by 4 total in less than a week from getting them done. I’ve been getting acrylics for over 10 years and never once charged anywhere near that amount much less had whole entire nails come off. Should note I went here because I was told they were taking more covid precautions than my usual place. Not true and definitely not worth it. Will not return.

I came in wanting only acrylic nail polish on my nails and I said this three times, but the nail tech started a manicure and I had to stop her and tell her again I don’t want a manicure. I also asked for a pedicure with gel toe nails and gel polish. I wasn’t sure if you could get gel nails on toe nails so I asked twice and was told yes. What I received is a pedicure and gel polish. Theses are my toenails a few hours after getting them done. Not sure if it’s normal to not polish the whole nail. I wish they listened to want I wanted the first time and they were more transparent about what they could do and can’t. I paid $67 for my service before tip. I’m not sure what cost what, it wasn’t in the receipt. Won’t ever come back.

This was a great experience they gave me a drink the were kind and asked if I needed anything 100% recommend definitely we go back

Hugh was GREAT! I just recently moved from Tuscaloosa and was looking for a new nail shop on my side of town for my pedicures. I’m so glad I chose this place. When I came in, I was greeted immediately. The massages with my pedicure were AMAZING! They even offer you something to drink while you recieve your service. I will definitely be coming back!!

Wonderful experience! Staff is attentative, chairs are extremely comfortable, water temp is always just right and the ambiance was very relaxing and peaceful. Very sanitary, they wipe down everything, liners in foot tubs changed after each person, in addition to them cleaning and wiping down tools and every other surface. Prices were very affordable and I highly reccomend this place. Appointments available via their website or via telephone.

I went to get gel polish removed from my nails (both hands & feet); this took a little over an hour & their process was different than other salons. The tech did not remove all the polish & when I asked her about it, she said that it was underneath the nail which was clearly incorrect. I pointed it out to her, she removed it but there were several places she missed on both hands and feet. At this point she’s annoyed & I’m annoyed that I keep pointing out that there’s still polish so I pay & leave. Definitely not going back.

I was in town for a wedding over the weekend and decided to look this place up online and try it out. I had Tommy and he was awesome! My nails and toes turned out exactly the way I wanted them to. I will definitely return here if I’m ever back in Birmingham. Highly recommend this place!

Randomly decided to try Elude today. Had a GREAT experience. Everyone was very nice, clean, and talked to you in a way where you felt like they actually cared. My nails are exactly what I wanted and look so good/neat (I’m very picky and OCD about my nails). I feel like prices are pretty reasonable too. I just love how much time was taken with my nails. No one was in a rush to just get me in and out. I do recommend making an appointment, but I also don’t mind waiting so it’s up to you! Will definitely be going back!
