Abby is the BEST! Always professional, on time and she does a great job! I literally just give her an idea of something I like and she picks the colors and works her magic! This was the the WORST experience I have EVER had at a salon and I have consistently received manicures for the last decade of my life. I was injured by a nail tech with a dirty tool and the salon simply did not care. I was advised by a different salon owner to see a doctor and get antibiotics it was a small but deep cut. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE.First off, I was recommended to try the Nail Lounge by a friend who frequents them, so I made an appointment. My appointment was for 1:30 but they did not even begin to soak off my old dip manicure until just after 2:00. They were incredibly behind and had obviously taken far too many walk-ins. The situation initially became unsettling when the nail tech used obviously dirty tools kept in visibly dirty containers on my hands and kept a very unsanitary station. Then, when applying the dip powder, she did an incredibly poor job and got it all over my hands. I had dip powder stuck to the bottom of my palms and I have no idea how that is even possible. Finally, as she was trying to clean up the poor application job she grabbed a dirty, sharp file and drilled straight into my finger, cutting me quite deeply. I immediately pulled my hand away and inspected the damage. I was bleeding and in quite a bit of pain. The nail tech didnt even flinch and tried to pull my hand back to continue. I told her she was not going to finish my manicure and she needed to get someone else because she was not going to continue touching me. She gave an empty Sorry and moved over to another client using the same dirty tools she used on me without cleaning them. No one came to finish my nails. No one checked on me. No one, despite asking, check on the cut or checked the tool. I sat there for over 5 minutes waiting for anything or anyone from the salon to care even the slightest bit but they didnt and my hand continued to sting and bleed. I have never walked out of a salon in my life but I got up and left due to the excessively poor treatment. The only thing I wish I would have done was get a copy of her license.As soon as I got in my car I called the nail salon 45 minutes away from me that my mother frequents. They told me to come to them and they would inspect my nails as well as the cut. I went and they were amazing. The owner and their most senior nail tech looked at my hands and helped me make sure the cut was appropriately cleaned and told me what to do to help it heal. They couldnt completely remove the dip that had been applied to my nails because of the cut so they very carefully removed the wayward dip powder that was stuck to my hands and filed and sculpted the dip on my nails into a proper dip manicure. They spent a hour correcting everything and I left with beautiful hands.I have since reported the Nail Lounge to the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners and have a doctors appointment to evaluate if I need antibiotics.

Disclaimer I’m not a big nail person anyways. First time trying dip and did not enjoyed it, my nails were glued to my skin (not fun).They were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Probably not worth in the end.

I got acrylic nails with gel, she did a okay job until we got to the painting. One nail was to thin and I told her yet she did nothing. The paint is see through and badly done. each nail is a different thickness and towards the end she started rushing. Somehow my nails with gel and some art ended up costing 72 dollars.. came back the next day to have them fixed. She couldnt do anything I asked for so I ended up just getting black tip. Dont come here, while I was getting mine fixed another lady had called to make an appointment and they kept helping others so she left. Not worth your time or money very displeased

I made an appointment for 12:00 for a mani pedi and sat with my feet in cold water for 45 minutes before they finally got to me. I get it, everyone gets busy, but I made this appointment 2 weeks in advance on my first day off in weeks, so it would have been nice to get better service. They also got the color wrong twice. At least my nails looked nice by the end.

I love this place! My friend referred me to Nail Lounge about a year ago and I will never go anywhere else (unless my nail tech leaves). I see Abby. She is AMAZING! My nails have never looked better. I’ve been to many places since I was 15, I’m 31 now and my nails have NEVER looked this good. Not only does she do a great quality of work but we have great conversation and she has a great sense of humor. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is inviting. If you decide you want to give it a try, call and schedule an appointment with Abby before hand. She will work with your schedule and get you in ASAP. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedi chairs are very comfortable. The staff was very nice and did a good job. My cuticles were very built up and Flower did a good job removing excess!

It took me almost 3 years to finally go to Nail Lounge, the location is awesome and right next to a pet shop and other popular shops and restaurants. My FAAAVVVVORITE staff are Abby and Tracy - although Im hesitant to put their names out there because theyll get so busy I wont be able to get in to see them again! Theyre so sweet, so detail oriented, they really care about the health of your nails and I never have to peel dip or polish off my skin because they thoroughly clean up and pay attention. On top of all that, theyre FAST and so much fun to talk to. In addition, all of these ladies HUSTLE! The owner (I think) wears the HIGHEST, break ankle heels and you will regularly see her running like a gazelle through the shop helping customers. The hustle is real! Love them so much, go see them!

The people were very nice and scheduling was simple. However, I went to get a mani/pedi so that my nails would look nice. The manicure itself was fine. My cuticles were trimmed. The woman didnt ask me what shaped I wanted and just proceeded with a rounded shaped even though I prefer a more squared off shape. I can live with that because there was a bit of a language barrier, so it really would have been okay if that were my only complaint. But I got a gel manicure on Friday and by Sunday night, it already looked really bad. I get gel manicures often, and I know they should last 2 weeks MINIMUM. A really good gel manicure can last much longer on me. There is a lot of yellowing at the top (like a bad top coat was used?) and she got the color onto my skin so it is chunky at the bottom and will start to chip and crack more easily. I feel this was a pretty big waste of my money.

This place was recommended to me so I took a chance! The place was obviously busy and one of the employees told me to come back at a certain time and she would get me taken care of. I went back at the time specified and she told me “no I’m sorry my bad we’re booked for the rest of the day”There were other people sitting in the lobby that told me they told them they would get to them in 30 min and they were walk-in customers. Never again!!! I could’ve gone elsewhere if they weren’t going to be able to accommodate me.

I’ve been going to the Nail Lounge for about a year and honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about it! I’ve never had to wait for service, everyone has always been over the top kind and accommodating, and they really make getting yours nails done a super relaxing and enjoyable experience. My nail tech is Abby and she is absolutely the BEST! I can honestly say I have never received a bad nail job from her; they’re literally perfect every single time. Abby has even gone out of her way to search for the right color I want and even remembers which colors I like best (which is super impressive, since their color collection is giant)! I’m so happy to have Abby and the Nail Lounge as my go-to nail place!

Very fast service. I ordered The Lounge Pedicure for me and my 12 year old daughter. They messed up one of the flower designs and I went back in and they fixed it. That was fine. But the problem was after I got home I noticed that the opi polish they used looked like it was one coat only. I can see my nail through the polish. I paid $68 plus 20% tip. For a rushed, pedicure that I could of done better at home. It’s so busy there that you feel like an assembly line.

This place is great! I haven’t left here dissatisfied once. They take good care of their customers and do amazing work. If you ever stop in, make sure to request Mai! By far the best I have ever came acrossed!

Ive been coming here forever and they always do a great job, no complaints on quality!! i always schedule and appointment because they can get really busy. great customer service and offers free drinks! although, today i scheduled an appointment for 5, got there on time and checked in, waited half an hour to get seated in a pedicure chair, waited another half an hour making it an hour total, to even get started on. this has never happened to me in my many times coming here, so i was surprised this happened after i politely reminded them of my appointment time. my nails look great per usual but just make sure if you’re planning to come to make an appointment and raise hell if you wait too long. i’m too shy, so so you can do it for me :)

My husband and I traveled to KC on vacation and decided to get pedicures. From the time we walked in to the time we left we received great service. We were able to have great service, conversation, and experience. We have already said during our next visit we will be returning. I highly recommend this nail salon to anyone.

I researched and came to this spot wanting a simple polish. She in turn took off most of my nails by filing, after I said I didn’t want them clipped. I love(d) having real, long nails. I had to pull my hand away for her to stop. And then after that it was rush rush rush. The next lady who was doing the designs, wouldn’t even listen to what I wanted. Actually none of them did. 2 days in and my nails look awful!! Polish already peeling?! This is the kind of place you bring your mother in law, not somewhere you go for quality, exceptional service.

The music in here are bad covers of pop songs and the prices are competitive but a bit high. My nails look nice but the customer service is subpar. The nail ladies have side conversations and someone scolded my boyfriend for looking at my nails

My family and I come to the Nail Lounge every 2 months or so to get pedicures. They are always so friendly, and they recognize us every time. Mai recently did my nails and they have been my favorite so far! I will definitely be requesting her next time. I highly recommend this place because they are so personable. We will forever be going here!

Terrible experience for my first time coming here. First off they didn’t have us wash our hands. Was rushed to pick a color and the one I picked wasn’t the one I was given. Left with glue all over my hands. Staff was rude and argued about what shape/color my friend wanted. Music was the same songs every 30 minutes. Many other negatives long story short won’t be back to this location.

But the whole time our nail techs were fighting. They were married and in a heated disagreement. At one point my tech threw her hands up and walked away. It was horrific. Besides that, my friends ankle was covered in polish because her tech was too busy yelling at his wife. NEVER! going back. Good luck if you do.

My friend and I came here for a girls night after a long quarantine of not getting our nails done. Angie did my toes and I had to ask her to correct another salons mistake of giving me hang nails. She did amazing and made them feel so much better. My toes are cuter than when I walked in and in much better shape. Special thanks to Anna too who did my friends toes. Its ridiculous to pay for a pedicure and have to go home and finish the job. Had to instruct him several times about how sloppy my dipped nails look. They were not happy about telling them about our feet, instead they said its dry skin. No!! Its dead skin and thats what Im paying you to remove. I get pedicures regularly and this is disrespectful!

Visited from out of town. Very clean. Everyone in was so professional and friendly. I had a Lounge Pedi and Mani. I received a pleasant leg and hand exfoliating massage followed by a warm moist towel and lotion. My technician took her time and I was VERY satisfied and it was a totally relaxing experience! The massage chairs were wonderful! I will definitely return on my future visits to KC!

I’m from out of town and called ahead for a pedicure. Came in and was seated immediately told them what colors I wanted and they found it. We decided on the milk and honey pedicure and it was the most relaxing and soothing pedicure I’ve ever had. Hands down the best time.

Really enjoyed my experience, the dip left a ring of color around my nails. They cleaned it up so it looked better, i had to ask twice though.
