I went there for a wig install. The young lady glue the hair way up to my forehead, very close to my eyebrows. Instead of use powder or foundation to make it look natural, she used black spray. I asked her to pluck my hair to make it natural, she sprayed the black spray in the middle part. I went somewhere else right after they did this mess, the hair stylist face when she was my wig install was priceless. She literally had to take it down, and start all over. If you can’t do a hairstyle, don’t book a clients.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going to Anise beauty salon for over 2 years now and every time I go and get my braids done, I am never disappointed.This time I got box braids and I have gotten compliments from left to right. Everyone is asking me where I got my braids done because they look so clean and beautiful. The girl who did my hair is Donna, she is so great! She took her time to make sure my braids look perfect and she wasn’t rough which I loved because I did not get a headache and I did not feel like my natural hair was being damaged. Thank you thank you thank you!!I am happy I found this place and I plan on coming back again and again. 😊

The Sis that wash/Trim/braided my hair did an excellent job.Then I was supposed get an 1 lvl fade/edge done ect...She near bald up the sides of my hair whereas I couldnt even go elsewhere to get an edge done which shes done destroyed. I gotta wait at least 5days to get my edge done now...I was charged 35$ for that mess, my barber isnt in town, I be getting my edge/fade with 2 design for 27$, Im still shocked to see I was charged that much for it.Besides the latter I had a nice expérienced.the service was too damned expensive,I didnt think Ill ever comeback here ever again....I got a bad habit of mine tho 🙂 if its not something thats going to endangering my life ect... Ill give people the leeway n see how far theyll take things.

Wanted to try knotless braids for the first time and came across Anise Beauty Salon via a google search back in May. Arrived for my 8:30am appointment and was greeted very warmly upon entry. After a very short wait the stylist began braiding my hair. She did an excellent job. I keep getting compliments on how neat the parts are. I absolutely love my hair as well as the service. Fast forward a month later and I’m back at the salon for a touch up because I can’t see myself going anywhere else.

This place is overpriced and you received poor quality work. The stylist spend 5 hours on my daughter hair for a simple style. The lady started at 2:30 didn’t finish until 7:30, the hair style didn’t even come out right, I ask for medium braid, she braid some big and some medium. On top of that the light went out and they continue on the dark like it’s no big deal. Because of them I end up missing my dinner reservation. I do not recommend them please take your business somewhere else that would save you a lot of headaches.

Currently in the process of growing my out of faded afro with the help of the salon. Support Black female owned business dont complain about the price they provide the service to match. Self-care.

This was my first trip to a salon in years, and I was not disappointed. Customer service is excellent, and this is The staff was nice and courteous. The salon was neat, decorated nicely, and comfortable to be in for a while. I requested small box braids with a mid back length, and Christina did them beautifully. I will definitely come back to this salon.

This woman told me the price was $800 for starter locs. Mind you, my hair is only 2-3 inches long. The process only takes about 2 hours. Plus I had to wait about 30 minutes, just for her to tell me the price was $800. I went to another shop about 5 minutes away, and got my hair done for only $80 because of the length of my hair. Even when viewing their photos, their styles are too mediocre for the prices. No one should never pay this much for starter locs. The maximum price should be $300.

Came here for a sew-in and triangle part box braids with braids added. The receptionist is very nice and friendly and welcoming. Anise and her mom as well as her staff are all very nice and I love that they are able to provide the hair.They really take the time to make sure there’s no pressure on you. Definitely get your money’s worth and get what you pay for here.

I am absolutely in LOVE. My fiance and I came in together to get our hair braided. Donna did such an amazing job on my two feed in braids. Im very tender headed and let me tell you.. there was NO PAIN or discomfort what so ever. She is such a sweet woman. Very professional and really delivers what you want. Absolutely amazing. It was such a positive beautiful environment with amazing staff and great energy. My fiance got cornrows and Anise did such a lovely job. We have a hard time finding somewhere to get his hair done because hes very picky but he is very impressed, as am I and we are both definitely BEYOND satisfied. I hate to put a bad review for black businesses but I had toI just wasted it $113 supposed to be a silk press .Two people was working on my hair, one girl shampoo my hair three times no conditioner (the massage was good) and put me on the dryer for 5 minutes, and the other lady blow dry my hair and flat iron it with no oil spray something thats it and say im done, i was so shocked

Wonderful staff but Every time I come here they make my dreads look horrible in the braids that they do she didn’t twist my roots when doing my braids so it was all loose and fluffy on the top of my scalp. The time before I had 4 braids that were all uneven and each time I paid 35$ for something I have to take out just completely a waste of my time if u have dreads don’t go here sorry. Maybe if someone else did my hair it would’ve been difrent but I’m not sure

Prob the worst double strand retwist I ever got so far, the twists are all so loose, and for the time it took and price you would expect a lot more. Been tryna find a decent salon in this area...better luck next time I guess

Sophia did my braiding she’s really nice I am very picky about my hair she did an excellent job on my hair her touch when she’s braiding is so soft would 100% recommend you to try her she will leave you satisfied. I felt in love with her . And the stuff is nice to at that place

Made an appointment ahead of time, came & had to wait an hour. The lady who was supposed to do my hair was busy so I sat with someone else. I got a perm & she burned me in three different places on my scalp. She also cut my hair uneven and now that I’ve washed my hair, the perm was barely done on the ends of my hair& the haircut is uneven .They’re also very expensive & will give you a different price on the phone than you actually pay in store. Poor service, will not be returning.

My first visit to this salon was absolutely amazing! Dana styled my hair and made sure I was well informed and comfortable through the entire process. She was very knowledgeable and showed great technique in styling my weave and made sure to educate me on ways to upkeep my sew in etc. I am very satisfied with my hair and the overall customer experience. I had my dreads retwisted and the retwist only lasted 1 week when it should last at least 2 1/2 weeks. I also brought my 9 year old son in for a consultation to start his dreads and was advised it would cost $800! I walked out and had my wife (in the car) call for a price and she was told $400-$475. Pay more for what if you don’t value money or don’t care about quality.

Love Anise Salon. They keep us safe by checking temperatures upon entry, scheduling proper appointments, hand sanitizer ready & masks required. I bring my two daughters here for a year now. Miss Ericka, Miss Sophie & Miss Donna treat us knidly, friendly & professionally. We get styles removed, wash & detangle, deep condition, ends trimmed & fresh braids. Highly recommend!

Scheduled an appointment for 3pm came there on time to get only a wash, blow dry, and braid down. I waited 30 plus minutes while she’s doing someone box braids which she was suppose to stop and get me out the way instead she tells me to wait 10 more minutes. Not professional at all I’m really disappointed. I left canceled my apt, such a waste of time!

The owner is extremely nice. I went recently and found that although great for braiding and straightening/trim, this place is not for natural hair. I came with an 8 day old twist out that definitely needed to be detangled and she proceeded to comb out while *dry*. Looking back I should have said something but I was hesitant because I feel it’s rude to correct the hair dresser. Ultimately I lost a lot of hair unnecessarily and wish I had said something because my hair is not as voluminous as it was when I came in. Disappointing.In addition the products used made my ends extremely dry so I ended up redoing my hair the next day. Ends have recovered but definitely lost a lot of hair.

Donna did a great job with my box braids & I couldn’t be happier! It’s hard to find quality braiding in a professional salon so this is definitely going to be my new spot.

Danna really cares about her customers, the Saloon is sparkling clean and neat. Her daughter Anise works with her helping her finish the work quickly. I would drive again 51 miles just to be attended by her. I would like to add that she do EVERYTHING. In fact I asked her and she works with Relaxers, Keratin, all kind of braids etc. She really have a lot of experience in this field. Super extra nice you can talk with her even fall asleep meanwhile she is doing the job. So she deserve 10 stars. She is very fare in prices.

Clearly the appointments don’t mean anything in this salon. Went there the other day for two simple braids that wouldn’t have taken long with an appointment for 3. After an hour and a half of not being attended I just left. My first time going there I waited 3 hours before being attended even with an appointment that time also. The people that work there are so nice, but wasting my time is not worth it. Would not recommend unless you have all day to wait.

I went here today to get box braids. I am usually very tender headed but the young lady who did my hair was super gentle and I have never felt more comfortable. I am so happy I found this place! I just moved back to wpb and was in desperate need of someone to twist my hair. I asked friends, co workers and neighbors for referrals and most places were booked or had sketchy reviews. I couldn’t believe that this salon had an opening for me on a Saturday afternoon. I booked just a few days in advanced for weave in twists. They were so friendly when I talked to them on the phone. To my surprise- the entire appointment took under 2 hours! And I LOVE my hair! I text pictures to my friends and my sister right after I had it done. I’m definitely coming back. My hair is natural so in between my braids/twists I’ll come in for some treatments too. I definitely recommend them!

New Customer. I was looking a YouTube videos thinking I cloud do my own braids... let’s just say thank the Lord I called Anise 😂. I love the customer service here. Even though Ms.Donna was running a little bit behind, she made sure I was comfortable and provide me with snacks until she was finished. I received Ghana Braids that I love however I need to ask her to fix two braids because they look different from the left side. She is very sweet and respectful and the shop is organized. I will be sure to come again and have them deal with my natrual hair...cause I can’t lol.

Donna is a MIRACLE WORKER - I made my dreadlocks myself just over 3 years ago & never got any maintenance done. Yall, when I say no maintenance just know I really mean none!! The amount of loose hair & new growth - it was wild. I booked last minute & she was so accommodating! She sat me down, took one look at the mess on top of my head, and didnt even flinch. I walked out of there looking like a different person!! I could not be happier!! Also, she is such a sweetheart - I was there a few hours (honestly, I was a m-e-s-s) but it felt like minutes because she just brought light to the process. 5 stars are not enough!!!

Very nice people however I got sew in extentions.. paid over $300 to have them done. When i got home i realized that the ends looked really thin and stringy so I wanted more hair.. went back to have them fix it and i paid more than I did the first time. My top sew in can barely be covered either because my hair is so thin so the placement is terrible. Wont be going back here again
