We moved into the complex in August 2021. Management was extremely professional, responsive and informative. From the application process to the move in, the experience was extraordinary. The apartment community manager, Ms. Eure, was an amazing resource and guide throughout the process. The location and proximity to Hampton University and the surrounding community is ideal for students and non-students. The apartment itself is spacious and functional. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a washer and dryer, dishwasher and dedicated parking, provides for an ideal apartment living situation. I would highly recommend the Hampton Harbor Apartments.
The Hampton Harbor Apartments is a convenient place to live and it’s affordable for college students. The people in the office are really nice and will solve any issue in a short amount of time. Shanita will make sure that the job will get done.
Staff are really friendly and understanding. For 3 years havent been dissatisfied. Really chill people.
The apartments at Hampton Harbor are very nice and spacious and the pricing is very reasonable and affordable when comparing to similar apartments. The gated community and 24 hour security surveillance will definitely give you peace of mind. They are conveniently located off of interstate 64 and within minutes to Norfolk, Newport News, and Williamsburg. I have lived in several apartment complexes in Hampton and the management and staff, led by Shanita Eure, is second to none!
Staff is kind and understanding and apartments are spacious!
Very good staff. Maintenance comes out when I call unlike my other community
Hampton Harbors is probably the best location for convenience and price. Home to many by the Sea.Shanita will get the job done
Does anyone have a legit number for them ? Everytime I call I get a hold que and then the call just hangs up. They have me down as being evicted when I made all my payments on time and moved out on my move out date.
I have been trying to get my deposit since August 2020. I keep getting the run around and the same excuse about changing management. I want my deposit. I will be calling the local tv station about this situation. Very poor management here.
Shanita and Ebonee clearly don’t know what they are doing. It takes a fortnight to get anything done to your apartment and the equipment looks like it’s still from the damn 70s. Maintenance is extremely sloppy and old. Do better. This is a poor excuse of management.
The Hampton Harbors office and maintenance staff is great! They are always willing to help with issues and have allowed my first apartment experience to be good overall. The office staff is always smiling and offering help. Maintenance is great they are always out moving. I appreciate the entire staff!
Having a good home while away from my hometown is exactly what I needed...and luckily I found it! Hampton Harbor is a great place and the staff both in the office and in the field is so helpful. The manager in particular is awesome she is very kind, knows the area and is always able to answer any question my parents or I have. I often visit my friends apartments throughout the city and I think this property is well maintained especially for its age. Maintenance is very fast with responding to issues that need to be addressed in my house. If you are searching for an apartment to call home ...call this office.

I have been staying in the Hampton Harbors for about 4 years. When moving in Everything went smoothly and very fast. Thanks! Management are always extremely polite and courteous. Hampton Harbors maintenance guys are always super friendly and get stuff done good and done fast. i love these apartment and the surroundings. It is a nice place for students and also for families with kids. Many amenities within walking distance. I have loved living at Hampton Harbors for the past 3 years, very professional and friendly.AH
Living at the Hampton Harbor Apartments is affordable and convenient! The staff is friendly, looks out for the residents, and makes resident safety their number one priority. Apartments are spacious and clean. It was a good experience as a first time apartment renter.
The complex has received significant improvements, in terms of cleanliness, security, and safety. Although it is adjacent to the university it is mostly quiet. I would definitely recommend living here.
A great community to be apart of. Customer service is always helpful and direct. Maintenance is always on site. If your inquiring about a complex to help you get back on your feet this is the one for you!
Everyone that works here has been very helpful. Thanks to Shanita Eure, Property Manager for providing excellent followup service.Sign: Margarita Gravesande/Parent
Horrible unprofessional leading office employees with smart mouths. Cheap and convenient but not worth the disrespect. Also it is like a prison camp with 24/7 police surveillance.
Worst apartment complex ever! My daughter lived there for one year because of the convenience of being located across the street from Hampton University but thats as good as it gets. The carpet is gross and the cement floors under the carpet are cracked and there was plants growing through the cracks. The air conditioner was broke for 3 weeks during the hottest time of the summer. My daughter kept contacting the office and they just blew her off. Finally, when I called the office staff changed their tune real quick. The maintenance workers went into my daughters apartment and never left notice that they were there. The only way she knew they were there is because they would leave lights on or something would be moved. When I questioned the office staff about it they said the maintenance staff always leave notice but during my call the maintenance worker was in the office and the office manager asked him if he was in my daughters apartment and he said yes. The office manager apologized and said it wouldnt happen again and I notified her that it is illegal for them to enter the apartment and not leave notification. The grounds are trashy and they purposely tow cars in the middle of the night. The towing company is a racket and even more unprofessional than the apartment complex. This whole set-up is a racket and Hampton Universitys president should be ashamed to allow this to happen at the cost of over $37,000 per year.
Really nice staff!! They waiting around for me when I was stuck in traffic on move in day. That was really nice and considerate best apartment complex and staff!
Great living experience! Very spacious apartments. The staff is very friendly. They are always attentive and responsive when it comes to any discrepancies or problems. Community is also great; always relatively quiet, even on the weekends. Best place to live if you are a Hampton University Student.
Horrible apartment. I have had multiple problems with the appliances here had to get them replaced ... Took over two weeks to get even a light bulb replaced, doors and windows have cracks so in the spring/summer time frame bugs get in. I also had my patio table and chairs stolen by students. Theres never any parking spaces near my own apartment during the afternoon and the leasing agents are apathetic to any of your needs and are just there to collect a paycheck. Do not recommend even for student living. Do not live here!
I really enjoy my experience living here my mom really enjoys it as well definitely would encourage all to stay here
One of the best apartments in Va. The staff is amazing they actually care about the residents who live here.
I feel that the manager is bad for the property she is running down the property she doesnt seem to know what she doing .The price of the apartment is too high, she dont know how to manage the apartment she treat the residence and her staff with no respect and nasty, as a resident living out here at Harbor apartments I really feel like its not worth it this property is poorly managed the housekeeper tries to control and run the property instead of the manager herself .greenbrier management need to seriously take a look at their property .im.sure they not making no money in the budget t o have things repair and they employees walking around the toilet paper and shopping carts.
Definitely purposely tow cars of family members around Holiday times.
Worst experience ever. Moved my son in to the Harbors because it was close to campus and I thought it would be safe. Grounds were constantly littered with trash, office staff was rude, things were slow to get repaired. In addition to horrific conditions there were several apartment robberies. I would not move my Hampton University student in this place. P.S I am a Hampton Graduate myself who lived in the Harbors when it was first built!!
The harbors is trash. Do not move there and dont say I didnt warn you!
I would definitely recommend this complex to any Hampton Student. The homely atmosphere gives a great neighborhood vibe.I especially love the convenient distance from campus.
This place is ghetto. Parents do no rent this place for your children. Apartments are old, outdated and the carpets stink. I can never get someone on the phone and the manager is reactive not proactive
They are very poor quality, and very unprofessional management!
