I see why this apartment complex has a lot of empty units. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. I went to do a move in walk through with someone who resides there, because i was considering moving out there because they look really nice. However, after them saying tenants couldn’t have blackout curtains if other tenants in the building didn’t have them because they want some sort of uniformity, didn’t make sense to me. How can you tell someone what curtains they can and can’t have in an apartment they are paying for? They even went as far as describing how i should clean the apartment, what products to use and etc. as if I didn’t know how to clean my house. When asking them questions they are very rude with a nasty attitude if you don’t agree with what they are saying. Their rules are insane. Most apartment complexes have quiet hours starting usually at 10pm ending at 8am, however they have quiet hours all day. So you can get in trouble for playing loud music at 2pm if someone complains. That’s absurd. I’m glad i dodged the bullet by not moving into this complex. They need to hire some professional and friendly people in the rent office because the apartments are nice but dealing with the people who work their is a headache in itself.

I have lived in Mercury West for almost 7 years and Susan, Margo, Scott and the rest of the staff are awesome. Whenever I report complaints or issues they are immediately taken care of them and the office people always let me know how. Most people dont like change, but it usually take place in several areas of a persons life. When New Management took over and raised the rent (which is usually normal once a year), it still is a bargain to live out here. By these being older Apts, not only does maintenance keep them up, I also have a responsibility to take care of my home. It is not solely the responsibility of Mercury West to take care of my home, but we have to work together. Even though it went from everything being included in the rent to now we pay most utilities, it is still a great place to live. As far as the creepy crawly things, every time I have had a problem, I reported it to the office and the problem was taken care of and I was told what would be done. I have awesome Neighbors, even the children are respectful and nice. I would absolutely recommend (already have) Mercury West to other people as a great place to live for them and their families. If the increases have you struggling, (I do know what it is like to be financially struggling), maybe if you talk to the office people or your job, you may be pleasantly surprised. Dont give up. May God continue to Bless Tenants and their families, every of office person and their families and every maintenance person and their families with Blessings, Wonderful Health and Prosperity. Remember we all need to work together to maintain a beautiful home.

They have a very unhelpful/unfriendly rental office staff, the office is only open 9-5 Monday-Friday, there is no answering machine, they do not work on any holidays so if you hold down a day job you cannot get help unless you call them while you are at work. They do not take cash or credit cards. You have to pay by money order or check, and they will take forever to cash your check. If you drop off your check on a Friday after 5pm (through the slot in the door), then they will consider that paying your rent on Monday. If you want help after hours you have to call maintenance, when maintenance comes to fix things they never completely fix them (but the maintenance staff is very nice). The kitchens are very small, the water is super hot, but will give you flashes of cold and then flashes of hot, be extra careful when bathing children. The stove is gas, but they did recently put new appliances in most, if not all, of the apartments. If you are upstairs you might not need to run your heat in the winter as the downstairs apartment will take care of that for you and you may need to open the windows. They control when you have heat and when you have AC, therefore you may have some very hot or very cold days in your apartment with nothing you can do about it. There is only one parking space per apartment and if you park on the street on Wednesday or Sunday the church next door will take your spot. If there is heavy rain and you are parked on the street your car might get flooded. Even if you do your best to clean the apartment they will find some reason to take your rental deposit when you move out. BUT there are two good things I can say about them rent is super cheap and all utilities are included.

Cheap rent, free utilities, helpful maintenance and office staff, great community. Only complaint is older plumbing and the fact that the office decided whether you have heat or AC (never both). But more than worth the price!

Older apartments, but family-owned, so they are very well taken care of. Maintenance responds quickly to any problems, and does a good job of fixing them. The only complaint I have is the lack of dishwasher, and I cant be too upset about that because they pay for the water (and all other utilities). My family loved our time at Mercury West!

If I could give this apartment complex less than one star I would. New management is HORRIBLE. Utilities are outdated and when you ask about any updates, it is simply and repeatedly “not in the budget”, yet money is spent on things like new signs. They will let your utilities get +10 years old, not replace them, then charge you to temporarily bootleg fix the problem. Not to mention a lack of parking spaces, racist neighbors that take pictures of young minorities coming home from school in broad daylight, and rude staff. I could go on and on, but I will leave this review here and let it speak for itself. Do not consider this complex.

Lived out here for over 6. Years. Last few years were Month to month. New management came and changed everything around. Made everyone sign new leases requiring socials of all tenants including children, rent went up, got pushed back on 3bdrm waiting list, which Ive been waiting on prior to new management, then the price goes up almost $200 on that, so you can imagine the disgust there. I personally have no grill, but they made all tenants get rid of there personal ones, and installed new ones in the middle of no where, no trees, no seating, just grills sitting out in the open. At one point all utilities were included but not anymore. New managment is the reasons as to why I no longer refer anyone to mercury west Apartments

Showers randomly go from scalding hot to freezing cold. There is very limited parking for tenants (one space per apartment), let alone their guests. However, free utilities and cheap rent are a huge plus!
