Has a really nice atmosphere with TVs playing sports. Its clean and well designed.. The girls that cut your hair seem like they know a lot more than just hair cuts they are true stylists. For me I notice a difference depemding on who cuts my hair so I always try and catch my favorite. The online check in and paying through their computerized corporate kiosk could be better. It takes a long time to get through.

Today I took my toddler to an upscale boutique childrens hair salon and had a terrible experience. My toddler was frightened by the stylist, she was aggressive to him and we ended up leaving with half a hair cut and a kid in meltdown mode. My husband needed a haircut and has been coming to this location for over a year. So we decided to tag along with him so that my son could watch his dad get a hair cut and hopefully we would have a better experience the next time. The ladies working were so understanding of the experience I had just had at the different place and my son was comfortable so we decided to try and finish his hair cut. Kathy was so sweet and gentle with him, there was barely any hesistation from my kid. His hair is even and looks great now! I didnt take a photo of the before because I was just so distraught about what I had just put my kid through. Jennifer did my husbands haircut and she also was super sweet to both of them. Going forward Im gonna skip the boutique kids place and just bring my kid here, its far more affordable and the stylists are so nice.

Compelled to write that I had a disappointing experience. I indicated I wished to have a two on the sides, faded up on one side and faded in the back. Basically as it was, just tidied up. My hair is long in the front and lays on top towards the back of my head, ideally blended as it gets to the back. The buzzer (not stylist, not haircutter) took the clippers to the back and buzzed off a fade that took months to balance. As a result, my hair in the back has nothing to blend with and looks like what Ive attached. Im open to feedback whether my actual style suits me or not, though surely no one looks at the pictures below and thinks yup, thats the good look right there?Left pic is what it should look like. Middle and right pics are what it sadly did look like until I had to pay to get it cut much shorter in just one week so I didnt have feathers sticking out the back while waiting for the rest to grow and match.Its nice that there are TVs, yet if attention to detail is what youre going for, stick to a venue that puts money in hair and not eight TVs all playing ESPN2. You honestly get what you pay for. I would have been just as served having a bowl placed around my head like it was the Great Depression.

The staff at Poway Sport Clips has a fun and fresh go team kind of attitude. Very refreshing. Uplifting energy. Felt very welcomed and treated like family or close friend. The haircut was outstanding as was the MVP treatment. Thanks for a great experience!Regards,Zach V

Well it was my first time ever at a Sports clips. I checked in online and was greeted immediately after stepping in. The place was really clean and the Angie was the best. She gets 5 stars too. Angie cut, styled my hair and even did a beard trim. This happy customer will be returning to Sports clips in poway for sure.

First clean hair cut for a long time! It’s been on the longer shaggy side for the last two years. Amber was our stylist. She listen and did a great job. Took her time and checked in while she was cutting. My son loves his cut and looks forward to coming back and seeing Amber. How can we make sure we can get her again?

Tina did a great job with my sons hair. He wanted to try a new style but was nervous about it. Tina put him at ease and made sure he was happy before he left. She also recommended a product for his hair to help with his curls and gave him styling tips on how to help keep his hair straighter. We will definitely be back!

Its a very good experience at Sport Clips. Check in online is very useful and wait was short and my stylist did a great job. I really like the VIP, but price is a little steep.

I am done being a customer great clips because of my terrible disappointing haircuts that I keep getting over and over. Your hairdressers do not listen to what I want them to do and they cut my hair exactly the way they want to cut it. I can be very specific and tell them take an inch here in an inch there and I want to keep the fullness over there but yet inevitably they end up cutting my hair so short and it makes me mad because I’ve told him exactly what I want them to do and they don’t do it. I’ve tried both male and female haircutters with the same results they just do not listen to the customer and I am . Re-train your hair cutters to close their scissors open their ears and listen to the customer as for me I’m done with you guys goodbye

Kristina has been cutting all my boys hair for years and my youngest son will only let her touch his hair. Whenever we go into the Poway location, we are greeted immediately with smiles and welcoming voices from all the stylists. The shop is always clean and inviting and I wouldnt take my kids anywhere else for cuts!!!

I went in with my 4 year old son to both get the MVP experience. My stylist Kathy, did a great job listening to what I wanted and gave me the exact cut and experience I was hoping for. My son waiting patiently in the chair next to me playing on his tablet until his stylist, Joselyn was ready. She was very patient and engaging with him. The shampooing sink was uncomfortable for him though. Didn’t quite work for his small stature, but he loved the warm towel. He was very excited when he learn that they were going to give him a lollipop when he was done. Joselyn was very careful when trimming and helped him sit still. He loved his haircut too. Great experience!

I love coming to this Sport Clips. The stylists are all friendly and it is nice to be able to watch sports while I wait and get my haircut. I usually request Angie because she always does an top quality haircut!

I took my youngest son and had a picture of how I wanted his hair cut. She kept asking what length clippers to use and etc. I had to tell the gal how to cut his hair, which clippers to use, and point out a bunch of strays and areas she missed. My husband and older son went the next day. Hes in the military and told them to make him bald and asked if he wanted them to use clippers or scissors? He also had to walk the girl through how to cut my older sons hair even though he also had a picture with the Clipper lengths and etc described on it. They have no idea how to cut hair there. The only reason we went was because we had a coupon for a free cut. The wait was also an hour + for 4 people waiting. Definitely not going back again. The cheap barbers by LA Fitness and Floaties definitely give the best hair cuts.

They get a three star because of the detail was sloppy .all hair and beard cut to a # 1she left a lot of long hairs .she did have a good personality. I would refer them to a friend just more detail next time

Ive been going here for over 2 years now and have always had a pleasant experience. Kristina is excellent. Waits can be long at any haircut place you go to, depending on how busy it is. Id rather wait for a quality cut though than go to some super cheap place where they do a rush job just to get people through faster. Disregard most of the negative reviews as its generally just the few dissatisfied customers that take the time to actually write these things out.

Staff is friendly and really take the time to help you figure out the style you want. Now that Ive shaved my head I come here to keep my beard looking good. Great selection of beard oils and shampoo.

Great haircut and experience yesterday. Previous two haircuts were not great, performed by one employee. I dont want to bash her publicly, but a simple fade turned into a chop job twice. Shame on me for the second trip to the same stylist.

I got a email that said Free MVP upgrade!I call the store and ask about if the hair cut is free?they told me yes just bring the coupon.The day after that phone call my kids and husband went there and present the coupon before they get haircuts,the lady who was working there doesn’t have any idea about the coupons but ask her colleague then immediately called us because we were the first customer as the coupon said just for early birds from 9am-10pm .then they charge us for $65 just for 3 haircut 1 men and 2 kids.when I said we thought the coupon is for free haircut,she said it’s free for MVP upgrade!!!!.nobody told us what is the MVP, we did not got even shampoo!!!!!

Took my son in for his first Sports Clip cut. His experience went really well with Lanilai. He came away very happy with the end result. Our wait wasnt very long at all. There seemed to be a bit of confusion regarding the wait list score board system and the names on there waiting for first available stylist, but overall, great experience and my son, who is pretty picky when it comes to barbers and his haircuts, was happy with it and the end results. Well definitely be back as its close to home and handy compared to our usual haircuts with a good friend who has an old skool mens Barbers shop in Fallbrook, which of course makes me happy. Think we forgot to grab the discount card when we were checking out and paying. Overall, great place.

The stylists are super friendly and even though the wait may be long at times, it is worth it. The shopping center has lots to do to keep occupied!

Have had 3 cuts here the last two were terrible and I had to come back to have it fixed the last 2 times. I am actually at the store now and I told them I need it fixed and I have been put at the bottom of the list, waiting 30 minutes for them to fix their mistake. Horrible service never coming back.

This place is a real joke! They have this stupid sport theme going and the stylist are just mediocre and very slow. I waited 45 minutes with 3 stylist doing hair and only one person ahead of me. Then I gave them a second try and it was the same thing. SLOW!
