They did a great job with my white/blue French no-chip manicure. I showed them the picture I found online and they matched it perfectly. Uka (Im sorry if I messed up the spelling her name) was super helpful and did an amazing job. She recommended the colors to use to perfectly match what I was looking for.
Did a lot of touristy things with my niece here visiting me from out of state last week. We walked a lotttt. I’ve also been standing and walking a lot at a second part time job so I really needed a pedicure. I hate to micro manage & needed to relax. I got home, looked at the bottom of my feet, my feet were still cracked and peeling. Also the lady who did my pedicure immediately asked for a tip at the register. I was going to tip her but I was thrown off by it. You don’t ask for a tip, it’s given.I called back first thing in the morning. They told me to come back for free. I don’t live in the area. I was meeting up other family members. They told me to come back for a cash refund.. she was quick to get off the phone. This place has a low rating for a reason. I only came here because there was parking nearby. I did a quick online search, the other place I was going to go had no available parking.
They dont let u know u have to make appointments.... which this one my Second time here first time They was closing n I asked do they accept walking in n she reply yes but now different story
I was excited to try this salon as Im looking for a new regular manicure location. I made an appointment and arrived right on time. I was ignored at the front of the store, they were obviously understaffed and running behind. when someone came up front, they said they needed to push back by 30 minutes. I understand that businesses run behind but they were not apologetic - just said that other customers were late and it wasnt their fault. I left and Tres Bien nails just a block over was able to help me.
Also, everyone’s reviews about this place’s parking thing— THAT IS WITH THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING, NOT the business! We tried to rent an apartment here and the landlord is the one who insists on having someone boot cars.Anyways, eco nails is a great small business who has a really professional and kind staff. They work super hard, reminds me of my mom and her small nail salon many years ago… they always do a great job on gel, dip, and pedicures. Compared to the many salons in the area, their work LASTS for me. Love them!
Some nail techs are better than others but overall they are accommodating and have have good attention to detail. Good polish selection. Mostly flat colors, few metallics.
Massage sucked and she didnt listen to what I wanted. I asked her to keep my nails longer and she chopped them off anyways.
Nice Salon. The people are friendly but not overly friendly (they let you just vibe which us nice)Its best to make a reservation because they are not always fully staffed, and of course because of COVID
Ok pedicure. Bit shy on the scrubbing and it chipped as soon as I got home
DONT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. They work with “Innovative Parking Solutions LLC” to scam people by booting your car and making you pay $170 to get it off. Despite there being no other cars parked in the lot and leaving your car for less than a minute. The parking attendant waits there to catch people leaving the lot. Would never support a business that preys on people in the community. (Sure, may be justifiable if parking were tight or an issue, BUT IT’S NOT).
This is my local nail salon. There are a lot options nearby, but this is my go to spot. They have always been professional and have done quality work on my nails. They also have a small parking lot and street parking which is nice.
Well, I should have read the reviews before I sat down in the chair. Its no wonder that this is the only place in town that has walk in spots available after 5pm. Not clean. Not friendly. Wont be back.
Went here with two girlfriends as a treat before a vacation and was very disappointed. More expensive than my usual place with sub par service. The man who did my pedicure did a wonderful job, but the woman who did my no chip manicure was quite rude and rough. I was “reprimanded” three separate times for not having my hands in the no chip dryer long enough and slightly moving my hand in a very brash way. (I’ve had manicures many times and was never been treated like this.) Not only that, but the woman’s nail dug into my finger during the lotion massage and made me bleed. She didn’t even offer an apology. I will definitely not be going back.
PREDATORY CAR BOOTING BY A PRIVATE COMPANY (Innovated parking solutions). They wait in their car and as soon as they cant see you, they put a boot on and make you pay $170 to remove it.
Clean space and consistent, quality no chips. A small parking lot in front is an added bonus! They also do the shoulder massage after manicure.
I love Eco Nails! I have been coming here for a few months now for my regular no chip which at $30 if you pay cash is a steal in this neighborhood. Walking distance from my apartment. Friendly fast service. And 2 week guaranteed on no chip, which Ive never taken them up on because it always lasts two weeks. Show me a cheaper cleaner place and Ill take you up on it, but Ill be it doesnt exist.
This place didn’t disappoint. The wait was a bit long, but I didn’t make an appointment. My manicurist was gentle on removing my cuticles and gave me a gentle massage. When it came to painting my nails, she was patient and didn’t miss a spot. Can’t wait to come back.
Heres the deal - its a decent manicure with decent price (no chip $30 cash, $35 card) but the service is shockingly unfriendly. As in, not even speaking to me when needing to access my other hand. I started to wonder if there was something wrong with the guy doing my nails.... But oh well, the manicure looked good. When checking out, I noticed wine and la croixs and asked about it. The lady laughed and said I could have some while doing my nails. Why didnt anyone tell me?! They have a two week no chip guarantee, and since mine chiped in about ten days, I returned to the salon. They did redo it, which I sincerely appreciated, but she didnt do ANY manicure work -- its a re-do so they want to make it fast, but I feel like without even the most basic of nail care the Mani is bound to chip. I asked her to at least cut my nails and she gave me grief. When I asked if I could just use the clippers to trim them myself since they are likely to break at that length, she cut them for me. She was just as unfriendly as the last guy, so it must be the way they roll there. I am grateful for the re-do no chip, but honestly if I was them I would be embarrassed sending a client out in the world with nails/cuticles/hands looking like mine did. I even had the clear no chip stuck to my hands in multiple spots. It just seemed really cheap of them to not spend the extra ten minutes to make my hands look decent and apologize for the chipping. If you offer a guarantee, you cant be mad at clients for utilizing it when your work doesnt hold up. With a zillion nail salons in the city, I wont return to this one.
I was refused nail removal service because “it would take too long” there was only 2 other customers in there. I usually have no problems with this place, but I unfortunately won’t be coming back.
Salon is nice enough, but the parking is scam.
Quick/ quality pedicure at a fair price!
Eco Nails is located in a strip mall where the landlord employs a predatory parking service called “innovative parking solutions” which will boot your car while you are in doing business with a tenant and charge you $170 to remove the boot. The tenants will do nothing to support you. My wife and I will no longer use the nail or cleaning service on this property.
The technician dissolved my $50 acrylic nails during a color change and blamed me for it. They buffed my nails extremely thin and left them brittle with acrylic residue all over my fingers. Owner would not answer the phone to help resolve the issue. Also, I saw the technician gather used tools and he took them to the back to wash them in the sink and put them in a new sterilization packet but he never actually sterilized them. The tools were wet and the sterilization indicators on the packet showed that they were not properly sterilized.
They were rude to my friend, and we ignoring us while tending to others. My nails got messed up while drying and they refused to fix it. They charged us up front and the other lady that came in after us was charged after her services. They are prejudice based on if u come in in jeans and a t-shirt vs. drrssed nice.
I was looking at cl for nail tech jobs. Good to know that since 98% of the clients are white a 20% tip is guaranteed. Seriously not cool.
So good! Clean, calm and relaxing environment. I got an awesome pedicure with great service.
Very happy with their pedicure service - I have been here twice. Very strict attention to detail, relaxing environment, nice color selection and great price. Highly recommend!
Walk-in, no waiting, smiling faces....clean environment, calming and tranquil. And a neck massage with my pedi/mani that I was not expecting. What a bonus! First time there but it will not be my last. Job well done!
I went to this place last Friday because my cousin said she had gotten her eyebrows waxed. I walked in and a gentlemen showed me to the waxing station. An older woman with glasses was at the station and once I sat down, she asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted my eyebrows waxed. She grabbed my face really hard and looked at my eyebrows. She then asked what I wanted AGAIN. I told her I wanted them waxed and shaped. She asks, clean up? No! At this point, Im thinking, this shouldnt be this complicated. So she called over another woman and they began speaking in a foreign language literally right over my face. The older woman grabs and turns my face again and they continue to talk about me. The other woman asked me to explain to her what I wanted done. I just told them to forget it and got up to leave. As I walked out, they continued to talk about me in their language. So unprofessional. I left and went to Nikkis Salon on Damen and had a totally different experience. Do not got to Eco, rude and unprofessional workers.
This is the best manicure I have have ever had. Uka is amazing! GO!
I had a super relaxing mani/pedi here today. Ive been here before for waxing, both times as a walk in and was helped immediately. The technicians are detail oriented and dont rush the process. Free parking out front is a huge plus in the winter.
The business owner at EcoNail is a stand up guy! Not only did I receive a lovely no chip service with back massage yesterday from his employee, but was impressed with the quality of person the Eco Nails business owner is and how he cares for his customers.Let me explain briefly. When an unreasonable, money hungry parking enforcer in the Eco Nails lot unfairly put a boot on my car, Eco Nails owner offered to pay for it. He also put in several phone calls to help the situation. In the end, the boot was removed and all my money was returned from this loser attendant. The EcoNails salon owner has a permanent customer.... I will frequent a place that value customers while also performing exceptional work.
Amazing service.so relaxing and welcoming, they even offer beverages while youre waiting love this place.
The massage was great, but they didnt remove any calluses from the bottom of my feet
Predatory parking boots used in this lot
Amazing service - shoulder, hand and leg massages included and free wine and tea!
Loved it Wonderful experience and They take care
Rude woman who spoke no English answered the phone and could not even answer my question! Lost my business!
Great service!
Reasonable price, clean, awesome
