They took a quick walk-in when Elle and HM were unavailable on a Wednesday around noon. Very friendly and decent price point but I think they use cheap gel polish, the paint started lifting after 7 days… out of 10 nails I’m left with 3.

This is my fourth time visiting the West Loop nail salon and I have to say I have always been impressed with both of their quality of the customer service and of every manicure and pedicure that I have received there. They also have been extremely flexible and accommodating around scheduling! They are able to get me in literally every time I call, and usually at the last minute. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, the technicians are quick but don’t sacrifice quality. I don’t know what else you could ask for in a nail salon.

I just received the absolute worst manicure Ive ever had in my life. Not only is it smudged and missing the edges of my nails, it also took an hour and a half and was $45. He redid the same three nails over and over and still messed them up. Never go here. You can get a much better value for $35 elsewhere in Chicago.

Would ABSOLUTELY not recommend going here for a dip. The nail technician who provides this service does not listen to what you ask for and is rude. As an update, 9 days after my appointment one of nails literally broke completely off since they were so poorly done. That said, Vanessa is a lovely technician who definitely knows who how to shape nails.

I had the worst experience, asked for chrome they told me and I agreed to pay extra $10 for that, I left the salon and got home to realize my nails are smudged and scratched and the chrome is all around my cuticles, the guys didn’t bother cleaning it off my skin he said just it will fade as you wash your hands! Leaving you with the pix right after I left the salon immediately.i feel like I waste $50 of money on nothing!

I really liked this place until I went on a busy day. The guy who did my nails didnt bother to push my cuticles back, or even cover my entire nail, so its 4 days later and I need to get them redone. (photo included to prove. I got them done on Thursday. its Tuesday. ).He also charged me $10 extra for a cats eye effect that did nothing and looked nothing like what I chose.

Ladies with acrylic nails... ATTENTION! They CHARGE $5 To take off old acrylic nails! I also got CHARGED $5 for a coffin style!!! That ended up to be barely a coffin style. I cannot believe I spent $42 on these nails. They arent even even! Go to Allure nails a few blocks away!!! WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!

I went to West Loop Nail Salon for the first time this afternoon, and couldnt have had a better experience. Im VERY picky about how my nails are done, and nail salon hygienic practices. I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure by two nail technicians - one named Sophia - and both were detail-oriented, extremely thorough, professional, and polite. The nail techs at West Loop Nail are highly skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to nails. There are ample gel and non-gel colors to choose from, and the nail salon is very clean. I noticed at least three sterilizers in the back, one I suspect is professional grade. I have had my nails done for years, at west coast and east coast nail salons, and this is one of the best ones. I offer my HIGHEST recommendation. Their prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of their services.

Took way too long and did a bad job. I have a very busy schedule so I called a head to book an appointment and confirmed the appointment when it was closer to the agreed upon time. When I arrived I had to wait 30+ minutes for my fill in and no chip manicure. When she was shaping my nails I advised multiple times that I wanted them to stay long and yet she again shortened them far beyond what I had had advised. Additionally the shaping was inconsistent between my nails. I told her I was distracted and she offered no solutions. After almost an hour and forty minutes I left extremely frustrated and unsatisfied. I will not be returning.

Only go to this nail shop if you want a basic no chip or color. This nail shop is terrible with fake nails, overlays or even Chrome nails. I asked for pink chrome nails, and they turned out a glittery pink and still charged me $45 ($35 for the no chip and an extra 10 for the chrome)! That was the first and last last time I will be going to this shop. Let me save you the trouble dont waste your money.I expressed my concerns with the manager she basically told me she didnt care.

I always have a great experience when I get my nails done here. They do a great manicure/pedicure and they have a ton of no-chip color options. Parking can be a little bit difficult if you need to drive, but its very accessible in other ways. The staff is very friendly and the prices are comparable to many other nail salons in the area.

I should have believed the reviewer who said they were terrible with fake nails. THEY ARE. Everything is an extra $5. I wanted a round nail. $5 extra. I brought my own bedazzle, $5 extra PER NAIL. They have this annoying dog & it licked the mouth of my water bottle in my purse. And the straw of my friends coffee who was waiting for me. When I told the manager she said my other customers have no problems with him. I wanted them long, they did them medium length. They woman did like 3 coats when only one was needed (since its a matte nailepolish), which made my naiIs look clunky. I DO NOT recommend this place. $37 for acrylic nails is a rip off. I recommend going somewhere on the south side where they do it cheaper, quicker, and follow instructions properly.

Im starting to think that the nail techs dont get as close to the cuticle as they can, because they want you to come back the following week. Tuan did my nails on Wednesday, by Saturday I wanted to get my nails redone because they looked a week old. I really sucks that Im shelling out money for a no chip that is supposed to look good for more than a week, but then by the third day it looks more than a week old. Im extremely close to going elsewhere. I shouldnt have to tell them not to leave gaps and to paint the entire nail and leave gaps!!

Very nice staff, large selection of polishes. Very good about keeping appointment times (its such a pet peeve of mine when you get an appointment but still have to wait when you get there). Parking on their street can be a pain, so if you drive try to give yourself a few more minutes to find a spot.

Well a change in the below review. Ice been there at least 5 times now and today I got a charge for my geek manicure. I didnt mind the change I do mind that you wait till your done and tell me the price is now $5 more than what I anticipated. I dont know why she didnt just let me know before she started it of the price increase because she asked me 4 times of I what I wanted. They do a good job but their soft skills need a lot of improving. I dont appreciate being pointed at to do thing or my hand being shoved away because your not ready for it versus just being asked. They arent cheap so those skills would improve the service tremendously.I went to west loop for a no chip mani and . eg pedi. I was happy with the service. It was quick without having to use a drill. My no chip lasted the entire two weeks and Im super hard on nails as chef. I feel cleaned my kitchen and did a large Easter brunch with only one chip. That is just amazing. They usually only last a week thru normal work and hand washing. I wash my hands A LOT! worth the trip.

I called ahead to make sure they do acrylic nails. They said yes but only have one person so I made an appt. When I got there I had to wait 20 mins which ok wasnt that bad...but my service was awful. I just needed a fill...which is usually 20 to 30 dollars...the lady kept adding fees...5 for taking off a no chip...well hello its acrylic you grind it off either way... 7 for a new nail.....ended up being 52 for a fill!!! My usual place was packed so I had no option...but the cost isnt the worst part...she put 2 new nails on curved and wouldnt use a pink powder to match my other nails...honestly ive never been to a place with such little experience with acrylics... DONT GO TO WEST LOOP NAILS FOR ACRYLICS... My friend got a no chip and it was fine...and one of my nails already chipped and half broke off.
