Its Sunday, I wonder what it will look like by Thursday. Also, employees work back there...whats up Pangea?Do you guys like laundry units you cant use because the office wont give you the keys to the laundry room or because they dont have laundry cards to give? Try PangeaDo you like for your property manager to not respond to communications? Try PangeaDid your lock suddenly stop working? No problem Pangea loves to charge you for everything thats their fault even though its their fault. We still havent gotten those working keys Property Manager.What about all the rats out front?What about all the packages that get stolen on a daily?What are you doing Pangea Property Manager? At least that guest out front was looking out for the neighborhood. Guess Ill check the current lease and see what else I can ding you on Property Manager.
My property manger Aaron is great. Every problem I tell him about is handled in a timely manner. He never ignores my complaints or questions and always gets back to me with an answer. Im staying in my current apartment just to keep him as a property manager. Looking forward to seeing what changes he makes to building. He really do care about us living in a clean and safe environment. He is at the building almost everyday. I
Well lately my contact was with Ashanti. She was very helpful and responded and called back when she said she would and she helped get a charge removed that i was wrongly charged. She was always nice when i spoke with her. I have almost had a pretty good experience with Pangea. I think you get out of it what you put in. Thanks Ashanti Marcus is cool too
They’re very good. They try to reach back out to you in a timely manner, and the service is well. My property manager Tyrone was awesome. I had an issue and he came right in to help me rectify it ASAP.
I reached out to Pangea for a maintenance emergency on 7/7/21 and they took care of my issue same day, no waiting. My toilet tank cracked and flooded my bathroom floor. I managed to stop the water using the shut off valve but the maintenance man went above and beyond to resolve my issue when he got there. He replaced my entire toilet in no time flat; out with the old in with the new. My new toilet is beautiful, it even sits higher than my last toilet which I love, and it has a more powerful flush. I’m very satisfied with the efficient work and fast response. Thanks Pangea!
Living at Pangea was okay, they always came when you needed them. The assistant manager was really a pleasure to deal with. She was thoughtful, and professional. My building was safe, and quiet, but the neighborhood was the problem. If the rain hadnt wrecked the roof by leaking water inside of the building, I would probably still be there.Also it wouldnt hurt if they would shampoo the hallway carpet. Having Respiratory issues those things only exasperated my condition. So I had to leave to try, and preserve whats left of my health. I wish my neighbors the best of luck. I will miss them.
I had a sink backup problem. The guys showed up 2 hours after I called, took care of my issue with in 1 hour tops. Wow Great and All some work guys.

My experience with maintenance has been awesome, Omar is very respectful and courteous every time I have a maintenance request he calls and hes on time. My recent request was taken care of quickly and efficiently, keep up the good work. 👍👍
The experience was Great, the only thing I would say is I didnt like how you couldnt see if the apartment had been taken or not after you put in application for that apartment.
Pangea has tremendously helped me, my spouse, & our little ones with our first apartment even during this rough time of the pandemic. Application process was very smooth thank you Darnell for helping us with our applications. Diamoness was on time with the apartment tour, and even though the floors were still wet from being freshly waxed, we loved the apartment ! Fresh painted walls, waxed floors, spacious rooms & very well lit with sunlight. The lease signing and key pick up was a BREEZE ! ❤️ Even though we still needed a stove, we called Resident Care and they brought one in within a few hours ! Thanks also to our property manager Hector for coming to fix the locks because our keys weren’t working right...he pulled up in 10 minutes ! Pangea is AWESOME & very quick with communication and responding to work orders. We will be renting with them for a long time. THANK YOU PANGEA.

It took months to get this job done. But someone else step in to help us out. He did a Fantastic job in getting maintenance to fix our door. He is the Manager of the Custodians, this wasnt his job to do this, but he step up and stayed on them to get the job done. He was A Big Big Help and concern when no one else wasnt or didnt seem interested in our safety.. His Name is Kenneth JacksonGREAT JOB MR. JACKSON, we Appreciate you 💯💯💯. Also he makes sure that our building stays clean and smelling good!! 👌Awesome

Tried to rent an apartment with this company many years ago. Had me wait for an agent outside one of their properties and they didnt show up. Meet up with someone at their office to discuss signing a lease and had the audacity to say that I didnt earn enough money to rent any of their properties and when I explained to them that I work as a waiter and made well over the amount to pay the rent. Quite clear that nobody in that office never worked as a server before. Took my business elsewhere to a nice apartment building in Arlington Heights where Im quite happy. Pangea is a straight up joke.

I have to give props to my apartment manager Lorelei she talks you she is helpful and understanding. She makes sure our apartment is taken care of and always replys to you. Anytime i have a work order put it with in 72 hours it is taken care of she is responsive, helpful and always been professional.
None responsive to maintenance requests. Ask something as simple as turning on cooking gas from basement and it’s been 5 days. I handled things in my end. I can see it’s poorly operated company.
When dealing with Pangea with issues that come I consider myself lucky to have a property manager like loriel she is awesome. Had a very bad experience with the Zone office on S. Austin and when calling the downtown office. But loriel quickly took care of all my issues and even reached out to make sure everything was taken care of. She is the Best of them all. Pangea please give her a raise TODAY!!!
They were extremely rude to my father whom is a senior citizen. He didn’t understand many things so they started speaking to with with disrespect and frustration

Pangea has wrong me I have been in my unit here in the Austin area since April 1st 2018. My stove has been giving me problems Ive made the proper work orders and now I have been burn,the light wont go off. My light bill is high and Panges properties manager Hector told me last year that I was receiving a new stove. Sunday this stove set off the smoke detector because it came on while I wasnt using it and I burned my hand. Immediately someone came out to look at this stove again Like Im lying. God knows this is completely wrong and truly disrespectful. Then I get a email to do a review and I cant bake for two weeks and I dont believe this company. I pay my rent and on time. My floor is dangerous because this carpet is damaged and staples or nails are sticking up from the floor, but I dont make any noise because Im not being heard. Hopefully I can move on when my lease is up in June. I truly appreciate South shore when I was there. But the Austin office have let me down. Im depressed and stressed out and I know about Covid-19 but this was before the pandemic.

I must say that the Customer service is Excellent. Every time I have needed assistance theyll just request approval to enter My apartment if I cant be present!! I Emailed to the Site that my Hall lights were Out/Dim!! The following Evening the Hall was so Bright. Like Brighter than I ever seen🙄. My experience with Pangea was always great from the customer service department, office reps and my property manager Chanel she has been so great, responsive, Professional and caring. My property manager (Chanel) on her own private time help me find another apartment within Pangea that will be a great fit for me and my kids (at the time I was in a one bedroom have two kids) and I was so grateful and appalled because normally property managers don’t care about anything you got going on as long as you pay the rent and she’s not like that she’s very considerate and understanding . The outside door was repaired; however; since then the door is now broke again; someone keeps trying to jimmy the door to get inside the building. Tenants are unable to exit out the front entrance which is a fire hazard. The back of the dwelling has icebergs and icy walkways that has not melted since the last snow storm.....tenants are unable to discard garbage through the back exterior because of the ice....Porches and back breezeway are full of trash.....

Where do I start? Property manager Lorelei never responds to any concern. She address every situation unprofessionally and does not know how to have a rapport with her residents in her buildings. I have a few friends at other Pangea buildings and they all say how rude and unprofessional she is. Definitely won’t be at Pangea after my lease is up.
To start, Pangea waited 2 days of me moving in and charged me a $300 move-in few, even though Id asked their rep Cleopatra (learned real name was Patricia or Pamela) several times, are there any fees? She lied and replied, no. I asked her over the phone and in person, are there washers and dryers, she reassured me there were and had to leave, before showing proof. The are no washers or dryers! And everything they told me would be repaired, including painting balcony platform, wasnt done and I had to wait and constantly ask for what they promised. It would take a longer time to tell you everything, but my experience has been the worst of all apartments Ive lived and Im not just saying that. They continuously lie and dont care enough about their tenants. When I told them, you cant charge a $300 fee, without reason or letting the tenant know, they threatened to give apt. to someone else and they knew I was desperate, thats why they took advantage. I have never known such unethical people and Id never recommend anyone. If youre doing what youre supposed to do, you wouldnt care what people say, but they know its all true in depositions from court. They expected that I should accept their treatment, but I didnt and they told other reps I was the problem, knowing all they had done to me and how they neglected this building and others.Im still waiting for 4 work orders to be filled, from 1/26/21, even after leaving 2 voicemails on property manager, Hector, voicemail, which he never returned, instead, he closed out the work orders stating that the work was done. Shoveling snow and salting for front and back; water pressure in bathroom and kitchen; and under stairs clean up. They only did stair cleanup. Our garage containers are stuck in piles snow, making it difficult for garbage pickup. Again, this has nothing to do with the virus, this is every year, especially winter and Hector, prop mgr. cant be checking, because hed see the lack of work done, nor does he check with tenants to reassure or ask have issues been resolved. Hes no better than the last prop. mgr., he lies a lot too.Sincerely,Rose M. Jones

Being a valued Pangea resident of Pangea for a 1year now has been a blessing! I recently just renewed my lease a week ago. I can honestly say it has been a wonderful experience being on my own! My property Mananger Chanel Lay has been wonderful always lending a helping hand always quick to fix any problem. She’s has been phenomenal throughout this journey and I’m grateful to enter this next one knowing that if In need to fix or assist with a anything whether it’s fixing the mailbox or simply shampooing a carpet who to go to so things can get done in a timely matter. She has been respectful and gracious since day one and i thank her for being just that.

I’ve lived in pangea for 4 years and I know most ppl have issues with them. But in my case I’ve never experienced a better service or communication skills from a landlord. Anytime I was locked out or needed assistance the office was right there. My apt 302 was possibly the best apt I’ve stayed in right above office so you get internet connection that’s reliable for streaming/gaming. My landlord Chanel was always responsive and tentative with me. I remember one night there was a fire on the other side of the building and she called me directly telling me to get me and my family out. She kept me up to date with all memos, emails, and all things related to the building. Can truly say she made the building feel like home for me and mines. If you rent pangea ask for Chanel Lay she’ll get you right.
Since I been in my apartment Pangea ain’t been nun bt good and patient with me since this pandemic hit ask for a toilet got it tha next day I may take a lil long with my rent cause of pay periods and my landlord who looks after the building always look out for me cause he knows imma get that payment whether it’s on time or a week late

I’ve rented with Pangea Real Estate for a year and 4 months so I can say from experience that they aren’t very responsive to there tenants. When I first moved in I had problems with maggots in my light fixture that maintenance didn’t take care of until I got the village involved. Then I had animals clawing and making holes in my ceiling, this took about 5 tries for they’re maintenance to somewhat get right because that spot in my ceiling is still showing water damage. I just gave up with that since it seems stable and they’re just gonna half do it again. But forbid I be a day late with rent, that’s when the agent finally pokes her head out to remind me but never answers my calls any other time. The apartment I rented is also horrible to work at home from because if I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard the fire alarm I’m pretty sure I could pay a months worth of rent. Not to mention this one time Pangea just for some reason let the fire alarm keep going for 3+ hours where I know they’re getting multiple calls from my neighbors and I, just telling us that a maintenance guy should be around to shut it off because someone thought of this brilliant idea to not give the fire department access to do that. So yeah I for sure would never rent with this company again and would never recommend to anybody else. If I could afford to get out my lease early, lord knows I would.
Had issues at the start. went to meet at the wrong location, got told to meet only on appointment after being told one wasnt needed. but thankfully despite taking 2hours we could have to moved it did get done and we got everything in quickly and easily. the main receptionist amber was gold. she alone is why this is 4 stars not 2

Not sure if anyone else has been receiving a recent WAVE of notices for inspections. I understand things need to be checked out periodically, but every few weeks is just way too much to live comfortably. Also very vague if any response when questioned as to what is being looked at and why so often at the same place. Nothing has changed over night I can assure you. Ive noticed on a few occasions some items out of place once I arrive home in the evening..guess thats part of the random inspections as well. It feels creepy, as if Im a CRIMINAL, or being under watch. In my experience no one is available for contract workers to have access to install services, so I just gave up asking. It struck me as really PECULIAR when a rep at the office literally took a tenants (or soon to be ) phone and wrote their own review. I hope anyone looking to rent from this location be sure you dont mind STRANGERS coming in to your unit with or without notice. And not very professional at all in my opinion.As for the 1 star rating.. the unit suits my needs other than noisy pipes but Im certain they will take care of that after one of the inspections😉

**************PLEASE SHARE*************I am beyond furious, we have been renting the same beauty salon (Picture Perfect Hair Studio) 5125 and 5127 w Madison in Chicago for 5 years now and never had any issues until Pangea Realty took over the management of the property about 4 years ago. There has been problem after problem and it seems as if since we are in a minority area of the city Pangea feels as if we dont deserve legit service. From their employees stealing our property, which they were willing to reimburse us for if we sign a document saying that we would never tell anyone that their employees stole from us. As beauty salon we cannot conduct business with out water and yet time and time again they have shut off the water without warning all while we had a shop full of clients. Then they send employees over to do subpar work like patch walls and then paint wet plaster with out sanding it. We have water marks all over our walls and ceiling and they said the would paint it if we dont mind different colors all over the place, because they didnt want to pay to have the paint match. Then to top it off we are now infested by insects and even though we have been complaining they have yet to respond to our complaints. Now they tried to lock us out of our storage area I. The basement where we pay the utilities for. They constantly tap into our utilities and expect us to front the bill. I do not understand how Pangea Realty is allowed to operate as such slum lords... The worst property management company I’ve ever encountered. Unbelievable they’re still in business. But apparently they’re really good with fake(first review and 5 star) reviews. They manage hundreds of buildings and have no support after 10 pm, locked out? No water? No heat? No AC? Your problem! Building manager is responding when he feels like it, two three days later.. Its 63 degrees in your unit? “Well, you have some heat” it’s 84 degrees in your unit with central AC? It’s not an emergency. Save your nerves. DO NOT lease with Pangea. Complete trash.

I’ve been a Pangea resident for over 3yrs and to be honest the first year was an absolute nightmare. The unit I was staying in was riddle with mice and the property manager was horrendous. He never returned calls or provided solutions to any of my concerns. I had to call the city and threaten to sue before I got any resolve, however the resolve was too little to late and I was left with very little faith in Pangea and its properties. Then, I found a unit in Maywood that was more suitable and it had some quarks in the beginning and the parking situation was a complete and utter mess, however it was exceptionally better than the last unit. In the new unit I was paying for a parking spot in the lot and when I came home from work at night I never had a park forcing me to park on the street where I was constantly ticketed. On top of not having a park, the lot gravel was egregiously damaged with enormous sink wholes in the foundation. Eventually things got much better the parking lot was repaired and I was able to park in the lot that I paid a monthly fee to park in. Chanel worked with me on the rare occasion that I had to pay rent a day or two late and she was quick to resolve a heating issue I contacted her about at 7am (the heat was fixed by 9am). Chanel has been conscious about reaching out to me, without me putting in a request to speak with her, just to check to see if I needed anything. Her actions are the only reason I rated Pangea 3 stars, because without her action I would have given Pangea as a whole 1 star due to my initial experience. Thank you Chanel for changing my tune.
I’m happy with my experience living in a Pangea apartment. I’ve been living here for about 10 yrs and have seen many managers come and go. My experience since Pangea took over is a totally different experience. It’s a new beginning. The building manager Chasity is professional and easy to get along with. They’ve renovated the building inside and outside to make it beautiful, comfortable and brighter. The janitor is proficient at keeping the building and the surroundings clean. We now have 24 hr security in the building. We as tenants are notified of changes in a timely manner. There’s a lot of younger people in the building but for the most part, they mind their own business. A big plus is the allowing of pets in the building. The only complaint I have in 5501 W Washington Blvd is that the elevators are slow and unpredictable. They break down too much. This building has come a long way and with Pangea and tenants that care about their building; and neighbors, we’re moving on up. 🤗
I just want to say that Chanel is a wonderful building manager. Always there or reply when I have a issue or question. Really appreciate a building manager like her. Thanks

Ive been living in maywood for almost or about 3 years. I love my building any issues no matter how minor my building manager Channel takes care of it immediately . Shes always helpful and available. No matter what time I call to me shes the best.
I have now been a resident with Pangea for 2 years. My experience has been good. They provide quick, professional and pleasant customer service to their residents. What has made my experience go from just good to great, has truly been my current Property Manager Lorilie. She is not only professional but thoughtful and quick to assist. Lorilie makes herself available and easily accessible for residents. Whenever a problem arises she steps in and I am able to put my mind at ease.

Ive lived in my apartment for 2 years, and the experience has been very professional. Chanel, the building manager, is extremely attentive to the tenants needs. Maintenance is preformed in an appropriate time and manner. Im overly content with my unit.
I have lived with pangea for 4 yrs now and my only complaint i have is i wish i have more windows. I love the neighborhood, its quiet. My landlord, chanel is very understanding as long as you communicate and be honest and she is very compassionate and helpful. When i was behind on rent, she advise me on resources that can help me.
My apartment is the best. I love been Pangea been in my unit almost 10 yrs. Pangea is the best especially my property manager Chanel.She trys her best to keep the building nice and clean. And anytime I have any issues she Johnny on the spot... Lol. seriously tho wonder Property Manager I would give her 10 stars if I could.
