Absolutely the most compassionate vet I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He goes above and beyond for both you and your pet. If you want the best? Look no further than him, because he sets the bar others just wish they could achieve!

We take all four of our monsters to him. He has given them all exceptional care from 8lb to 100lb. We highly recommend him.

Dr Amin is just so kind! You can tell he really really cares about your pets. He’s also affordable my pup got surgery there and it was half if not a third of the price at my past vet. I would take my dogs there even if his prices were higher. Another thing is that he is honest and won’t tell you something needs to done unless it really needs to be done. I have worked in the veterinary world previously, and he is a very rare doctor!

The doctor is very helpful and saved my cat. My dad and I had to take my cat for an emergency vet appointment and the doctor did a great job. My cat is getting stronger throughout the weeks with the amazing prescriptions the doctor has given. He is also inexpensive!

Always helpful, doesnt kill you on costs, and has the best hours for anybody that works during the day.

I switched to Hallam Animal Hospital when I moved to East York. Dr. Amin is super responsive and personable. I appreciate that he’s willing to come in during off hours to take care of my pet’s medical needs. His prices are very reasonable.

We had an emergency with our dog Cocoa and couldn’t find any help because it was past 6pm, but thankfully I was able to find him through google maps and we have no complaints only praises to Dr. Amin. He was very thorough and patient with Cocoa and after 12hr she’s energetic and feeling better. He not only took care of our puppy’s health but he was 1/2 the price of anywhere else. Also, he called us the next day to follow up on Cocoa and gave us more instructions on her care. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Amin is an amazing veterinarian! He is very efficient and thorough, and he goes above and beyond to follow up on the animals that he works with. This is by far the best veterinarian in all of york, lancaster, and Harrisburg! He is so professional and reliable. What he did for my little max was just incredible. Max is a larger house cat who was attacked by a hawk when he escaped from contractors redoing my bathroom. I text him after about a week because I noticed his back had a horrible infection and smelled terrible! Apparently the hawk did alot more damage than I had realized at first. He took him the next day! It was so cheap and my cat is healthy as well as doing just amazing. He is a true blessing! I highly recommend everyone taking their fur and scale babies to him. Hes just amazing and saved my babies life. I dont have the option to add photos or I would.

I will never take my pets anywhere else. I am so happy that my husband and I found Dr. Sam. He is knowledgeable, caring, and is a wonderful vet! And you cant beat these prices!! At first you may be might be thrown off by there not being more staff but you definitely wont be complaining when you walk out of the office with better care for your loved one and a third of the cost. I would recommend anyone to this office. Definitely worth the extra drive.

Long story short, had a very sick cat. This is the 2nd place we took him. Better hours, 1/2 the price, and a huge amount of care and concern shown. Shadow is doing so much better and we finally feel he is on a road to recovery. New to the state and happy to have found our new family vet.

We have been here twice now and highly recommend it we took our pup who is very skittish around new people at first for a rabies vaccine,The Dr. Was very kind and took his time with our pup for precaution he had to muzzle our pup before proceeding but let us put the muzzle on which made me very happy then he gave our dog the shot which cost us 60$ vs East York vets would be 150$ shot and they try to tell you you need every shot in the book and drain your bank account, Not Hallam animal hospital they are very reasonable in price and very professinal I will be back for future check ups!

An amazing compassionate vet who is in tune with not only the emotions of the animals but the owners as well. Dr. Sam was awesome! He worked my very sick dog in between all his appointments. He was very through & compassionate. He found out what was wrong with my Leo & gave him all the medicine he needed. When it was time to pay I was short 90.00. He trusted me to go all the way back to my house in West york to get the rest of the money. When I came back an hour later he said Thank You for returning. He told me he will call me 3 days later when the lab results come back. He did and explained everything I had to do with Leo. I will definitely go back to him & refer more people.

Dr. Amin is truly a caring veterinarian. He called to check on my dog couple days after our visit. Never had ever any vet calls not even my own family doctor. My Cutch has been licking and chewing his underside to point of bleeding. Dr Amin gave us three options, we tried the middle of the road expense wise with no success. My DIL (a vet tech) recommended apoqual. I rescheduled an appt with Dr Amin and asked for him to put Cutch on that, which happen to be the high end suggestion on my past visit. He also recommended changing his food, which he carries and also a shampoo, which I can take empty bottle back in at a reduced cost to refill. In two days Cutch has stopped itching and chewing himself, he seems much happier and playful. I priced the food on Amazon, Chewy and others and he is giving me fair market price. Thanks Dr Amin❤️❤️

I cannot express how much my husband and I appreciate this place and their veterinarians. We had a 5 month old kitten who became severely deathly Ill within a week come to find out long story short he had FIP a virus that attacks the kittens brain and is incurable. We came here desperate for help, saw Dr. Amin and oh my word he is amazing. He didnt even have to run labs or tests he did a physical exam an extensive one and was able to diagnose what was going on with our baby. Although our baby had to be put down at an emergency vet, Dr. Amin gave us something to look for and test and lab results showed exactly what he thought. He told us to keep him informed and he truly cares. We love this vet and will from now on bring all of our animals here. Very well priced too. We cannot express our gratitude enough to him. Highly recommend!!!!

Dr. Amin is wonderful. I have had great care for both of my ladies (each under a year) and he has been great with not only understanding pets, but he provides options and information regarding care for dogs. Unfortunately, we had to put my childhood dog down yesterday. I am writing this review because my mother lives in Lancaster and she trusted my rave review of Dr. Amin that she drove all the way to York to see him. When I called him on the phone and explained the awful messy seizure he had when no one was home, Doc was kind and compassionate when he explained that Bill should not suffer anymore and that euthanasia was the best option. He was so great with my mother. I also want to say that my mom went to three other vets and they all tried to get her to pay for testing and blood work and different medications. Bill was a 12 and a half year old boxer with awful hips, tumors, and seizures. He was almost blind, nearly deaf, was losing use of his legs, and was becoming incontinent. Dr. Amin did not push extra medical work and only recommends procedures as a last resort and only if its absolutely necessary. I trust him fully with my dogs. Thankfully he is only seven minutes from my house, but Id travel and hour just to have him care for my pets.

I cant express in words how wonderful this Doctor Amin is. He is kind, caring and patient. He will give you all the time you need and will explain everything in detail. He will personally call you to followup and when you call him you will never wait long for a return call. Dr Amin prices are so fair and good.I am so glad he came to Hellam Pa. I am your biggest fan. I cant say enough about this place. Hallam Animal Hospital (HAH) was recommended to me by a friend when my 13 year old pup was coming to the last days of his life. They treated us with so much sympathy, gave me all the time I needed to spend the last few minutes saying good bye to my best friend. The Dr even asked me if I was ok before I left and with the most deepest thoughts told me he was sorry for my loss. Top Notch place....Thanks HAH you guys are amazing

I could not be happier with Dr. Amin. He gives you more time and attention during your appointment than any other veterinarian I have ever seen.Other animal hospitals that I have used were so large and seemingly understaffed that it was always busy like a train station or airport and it was total chaos and you were rushed in and back out the door. I am not saying the veterinarians themselves were not knowledgeable and good veterinarians at these other veterinary clinics; however, in all the hustle and bustle and chaos, the staff seemed harried and distracted by many things going on at the same time and mistakes were made.Dr. Amin works at a slower pace and spends an abundance of time examining our pet, educating us, allowing us to ask questions, and just taking the time to make sure we understand everything. We never once felt rushed.In spite of expending so much time and energy on our pet during our appointment, his prices are in line with other veterinary clinics and, from my experience, often less expensive.In addition, he is a pleasant, delightful doctor who is a joy to be around, and his love and compassion for animals is apparent.Thank you, Dr. Amin.

The doctor here has a relationship with the pets and owners that can only be described as hometown. I never had a veterinarian that would have you contact him on a Sunday if he wasnt better. He understands everyones financial hardships and trys to keep the costs down in doing what os absolutely necessary. Ill never take my pets anywhere else and fortunate to have him close by.

Appointment began exactly on time, we got the vaccines we needed and we were out the door in 15 minutes! And hes a wonderful vet!
