My recommendation if you’re looking for a DC nail place is to go to Persimmon Nail Spa instead! Much nicer salon, much faster nail techs, and cheaper prices!I made an appointment 5 days in advance and had to wait over 30 minutes (now it’s been 60 minutes - I ended up leaving without getting anything done) before they even sat me down to pick a color because they overbooked the appointments and only had 2 people working the entire salon. Go somewhere else even if it’s more expensive. Your time is worth more.Update: the lady who was getting her nails done before me comes back in 10 mins later because her nail POPPED OFF immediately! Of course the nail tech steps away from helping me to go work on her broken nail.This has been a horrible experience. Please take it from me and don’t come here.Oh, and the girl who came in behind me was turned away even though she too had an email with an appointment booking confirmation from the nail salon in writing.I ended up leaving without getting anything done. I cannot encourage you more to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This was my first visit at this Salon, my service from Helena and Navia was excellent. They took very good care of me and was gentle with my nails. My manicure came out lovely and so did my pedicure. I will definitely be back again. I reccomend this salon if youre new in town or just need to be pampered for a day.💅

I came here for a last-minute pedicure and they got me in right away. The pedicure lasted about 40 minutes and they were very thorough. 10/10 would recommend.

I booked an appointment over the phone and when I arrived, it hadn’t been put in the system and had to wait 25 minutes. The nail technician who did my gel mani pedi was kind but my nails did not last - within two days, the thumbs began tearing and catching on things. It also took almost an hour and a half from start to finish, not including wait time. After a week, both thumbs had to be completely peeled off because of the rough edges. Would not recommend.

I have used this place in the past. Great service...Highly recommend until today. I didnt have appointment, but I didnt think that would a problem. The young lady at the desk asked if I had an appointment....I said no....I said your not taking walk-ins she said you have to book an appointment. She said An appointment is coming in 5mins...Meanwhile the shop is dead empty. Were not taking walk-ins...She tried to get me to book an appointment I said no.....Im not sure who trained her but they did it wrong....She shouldve offered options....Never let a paying customer walk out the door.

The nail tech did a fill in with gel and the polish chipped the next day. I went back to get it fixed then the next day more nails chipped. She seems inexperienced and took wayyyy too long to do a fill in. Never going back.

Went to the Hilton hotel and found this great spot. I took my wife there to get a pedicure. It was popping when we got there and we were able to get in. Very clean salon and the techs was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place!!! Give them a try!

Nice place, very friendly people but I don’t feel the nail tech is experienced enough.My polish looks crazy, she was inexperienced with shaping the nail and my cuticles look as if they did when I first walked in the door and they don’t know how to do designs. I’ll still with my regular shop. I paid 75 bucks for nothing. Never again . I miss the old staff.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO. I typically don’t write bad reviews but this was one for the books. Came in with perfectly shaped, ALMOND nails from a previous nail salon.The first person to start my nails didn’t look confident in removing the sns/powder I currently had. I was greeted by a ROACH during this already uncomfortable experience. First red flag.Then another lady shows up and twirls in chatting with and distracting the other, visibly novice lady. The Twirler takes over and that’s when it went awry. She had no concept of how to shape nails, for starters. I had almond when I arrived. I have an ASSORTMENT of ILL-SHAPED nails after. Second red flag.After I informed The Twirler that she was not doing my nails to my satisfaction, she angrily calls over Anthony ( the only person who was professional enough to provide a name), begins yelling and threw down her nail file. After their exchange, she finished her underwhelming attempt at a manicure, with a deadpanned look on her face.I explained to Anthony that this was the WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had and he offered me a minuscule discount on my next service. WHY WOULD I RETURN? Stop offering discounts. I’m not interested in a discount, I’m interested in a great salon experience and a beautiful finished product! It’s rather insulting for you all to assume that 10% or 20% or extra designs will make up for a subpar job.While I was there, other patrons came in saying their manicures were faulty after only 1 day and they too WERE GREETED BY ROACHES!I’ve since read an assortment of negative reviews on this place. Anthony, no need for apologies or to invite me for another manicure or request that I send an email or call the store. I am not interested. You all need to work on, not only your customer service service skills, but the overall QUALITY of NAIL SERVICE as well.I would have given a ZERO had I the opportunity.

I went here for a pedicure and dip nail manicure. My pedicure was really good, very detailed and overall really nice. However when it came time for my nails I felt the technique used was very sloppy and rushed (instead of dipping the wet brush into powder, she dusted my nails with the powder). Meanwhile another woman was also getting dip nails and the technician did a very thorough job. Please avoid getting a dip manicure from the young female technician with a heart necklace. ( There were no name tags, she appears to do a lot of talking on the behalf of the business)Update: 7/29- my nail coloring is already coming off after 4 days, just ridiculous.

I normally don’t do reviewed but I got dipping powder today and the women clearly didn’t know what she was doing. She put soo many layers of the dipping my nails are chunky and every nail is different length. I’m very disappointed

Average at best. I come here because it’s convenient, not for superior service or customer service. I came in and showed them a unique nail color and asked could they do it. After saying yes it turned out they didn’t have the color.I used to get dip powder but it would rise near the cuticle and my hair would get stuck under it and snag when styling.Now I just get a simple gel manicure. This last time I had 3 techs to apply my gel manicure. Started with a woman. She was called away to to a pedicure. Then I got Anthony, the manager. Then I got Kevin, because he finished with a client. At the end I noticed, between all the rotating, I didn’t get my cuticles cut. They said I didn’t need it. I guess.I got my lashes done here and it was terrible. Lashes were falling off by the time I got home. I came back the next day for a refund.They do have complimentary champagne and wine for happy hour if you come after work.

First time client. Was able to make same day appointment. Got gel manicure and callous treatment pedicure (they have several options). Pedi was well done. Mani was not. He didnt initially file down the nail enough, before soaking, so removal took forever. Despite me saying not to, he filled the remaining off, leaving my right pinky nail a different, shorter shape. He did apologize, and I do appreciate that. Also felt the time under the light was excessive competed to other experiences. Overall looks ok, but nail paint in some fingers far from cuticle, so it will look like it grew out soon. Price was reasonable and friendly treatment, hence 4 stars. Would go back to give another nail tech a shot.

The technician was very kind and sweet, but the quality of the gel pedicure I had was below average unfortunately. Would not go back again.

I always think I do a good job of taking care of my cuticles until I go to a salon 😂 Okay so normally I hate going to get my nails done because it never ends up the way I wanted it, but I am blown away. Service was so fast and good. When I asked for my nails to be reshaped to a more round shape she just said yes, instead of trying to talk me into square (I tend to get my nails ripped on things if they have corners). Very reasonably priced; I may have to come back on last day in town.

I got pink shellac french tips done here and they were awful. My nails were bumpy, the tip lines were crooked, pink trailing into the part of the nails where it shouldnt be. I complained and the manager (Anthony) gave me a discount. Apparently the lady who did my nails is known for being bad at her job. Anthony asked me to give them a chance to fix it. I told him I had somewhere to be and I would never come back to this place. He insisted so I told him I would come back the following week. He said he would personally fix them himself. The next week I returned when I could get time away from work and even though I called ahead that day, Anthony did not take care of my nails himself. Despite having called ahead, I had to explain why I was there and why I was getting my shellac french tips redone so soon. Eventually Anthony intervened and I was able to get the nails re-done though by someone else. They were a thousand percent better but still not great. Anthony then tells me to pay up. Imagine my shock. Why would you charge me if you were fixing a botched job that you insisted on fixing??? Remember I didnt even want to come back but he insisted on me giving them a chance to fix my nails. In the end, I didnt pay because it made no sense but as you can imagine its left a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid this place like I will be from now on. Hopefully they can get some better management who will treat customers with more respect.

I frequent many nail spas. Luxury nails is very unique. The nail technicians really want you be very satisfied before you leave. I arrived at closing time. My Technician went over and above to make sure I was relaxed and provided excellent service even though it was closing time. She did not rush me out of the salon. The manager ( Anthony) came over to me to make sure I did not worry about ANYTHING before I was completely serviced!! I music playing was very relaxing and the salon was very clean. They provided me with exceptional service. I will refer Luxury Nail Spa to all my friends. My nails and feet are beautiful!!A EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Exceptional nail spa. Their title of the company name definitely lives up to their title. They are luxury and treats you as if you are pampering yourself as you should. The entire team was phenomenal and caring!! I appreciate the time they took to make sure I was satisfied and didn’t lift a finger! It felt amazing to be treated with such care for a first time customer and I will be back ! New nail salon home. From the team to the manager Anthony I was treated with more than care but as if I was family. I love my nails as well. The wait is not long, they are time consuming but understand if you are here on a busy time frame or just want to relax and enjoy the experience. I have never been to a salon where my natural nails were handled with so much care. The woman who did my cuticles I appreciate her so much!! THIS MAY BE A GIFT CERTIFICATE / SERVICES BAIT & SWITCHThis location has taken customers hard earned money for gift certificates during the holidays without the intention to honor it -- they are just keeping the money for themselves and banking on no one trying to use (or fully use) the amounts.Customers that purchase Gift Certificates during the holidays or for special occasions expect that their loved one will be able to actually use the certificate. They expect that their hard earned money will go toward making someone they love happy -- not toward looking the businesses pocket in exchange for no service rendered.This store has changed managers (not owners) sometime between November 2018 and May 2019. In doing so has begun to be a customer service black hole.A gift certificate was purchased for less than $50 in November 2018 and a portion used shortly thereafter. The Manager noted the balance to be used on the certificate and signed it. However, within the years expiration the balance was refused ... the certificate not honored ... because the Manager (not owners) has changed. Today I had my nails done by Amy. She was great, and took her time. She listened and gave me everything I asked for. (I also changed my mind a few times, and she was patient). I love this place, and the price is the same as everywhere else. Also had Tammy & Kelly do my nails, and they were great also. I love this place. (Vicky~)Changed my post to 1 star. Do you get your lashes done here. I wanted to get a fill in while in town for a quick work trip - now they are all stuck together. I believe they have combined superglue with the lash glue. The lashes are stuck together and I cant get them apart. I also cannot get them off. Avoid this place.

Its in my neighborhood. Awesome customer service. I got acrylic coffin shaped and loved the outcome. The staff here are so awesome! Not this time! They were very gentle and such a perfectionist! The prices are reasonable. Probably the best manicure in terms of design! All in all, GREAT products.

I came in for lunch and Ty did my pedicure. He was a delight to talk to and was SUPER quick. Very personable. I also got a full set and gel with Kevin and it really came out beautiful. Ask him for #13 in the box if you want a really beautiful, natural color. He was extremely quick and efficient. Let him go to work on your nails! Ill be going back. The price was right as well. Im usually over $100 at my regular salon. I only paid $70 here.

I went in without an appointment but during a slow hour in the afternoon. There was only one other customer in there. Anyway, I was disappointed with the gel manicure I received. Tammy didnt pay attention to the fact that I only had nail polish on coming in and was about to grind away at my nails until I pointed it out. Then, she did a sloppy job removing the polish and my cuticles were still a mess when she was going to proceed with the gel. I had to point out that my nails still had polish on them. By then, I was so frustrated...I stopped addressing the issues and wanted to get out of there. Of course the polish was sloppy and I will not be going back. Two days later and the gel is starting to lift and chip. The other customer had a younger girl and she seemed to be doing a better job. I just had the bad luck of getting Tammy. I do not recommend her...steer clear!

I went to Luxury Nails on a Friday afternoon and there service was beyond professional. I just moved to the area and it was important to me to find a good nail tech and I did. As I was getting my nails done I overheard 2 other customers praising there nail tech so it sounds like all the techs are good. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of my tech but I will be back again.

This is such a convenient spa for me. I work in this location and they are always prompt and get me in and out within lunch break. Several color selections and if there is a color you are interested in but they don’t have, they will order for you for the next visit.Shervette is awesome! Such a great nail tech with a fun and lively spirit and Anthony alwaysssss makes sure everyone is taken care of.

Anthony is amazing and this place is nothing but a Godsend. Phenomenal service and they really care for your nails. They always go above and beyond without hurting your pockets. They’re also mindful of time. My new favorite place.

Easily my new favorite salon! Walked in here on a whim, and now Im going to be a Regular! Why? Because Ive never had a gel manicure that lasted so long! Even after 1 month, no chipping!! And its the first time my gel polish didnt peel away from the Bottom. In addition, this place is a legit salon- beautiful space, tuns of chairs, not overcrowded, lots of luxury perks like your choice of scented lotions, tuns of colors, and excellent technicians! Love that they are open late too. Definitely the best salon in the lenfant area!

This salon is horrible. My husband paid for a 45.00 gift certificate and the establishment is no longer honoring it because they’re under new management. The gift certificate didn’t expire and we were told that we could use it anytime and now, they aren’t honoring it. The new manager has not made an effort to rectify the situation. I was a loyal customer for years but I will not be back!

I’m writing this review to express my dissatisfaction of the customer service at Luxury Nails. My friend, Dana, was not able to use the gift certificate due to the change in management. The gift certificate didn’t have an expiration date and her inability to redeem it is at no fault of her own. The current manager has not attempted to rectify the situation over the past few days and has not been responsive to her at all. I will not be patronizing this establishment and would not recommend it.

Came in last Friday to get a full set of dip nails. It was slow, and it was seated quickly. It became pretty apparent that my nail tech was either not prepared or wanting another client. Nails were done very sloppy and one popped off today while buttoning my pants 🙄🙄🙄 I was offered a free repair when I left Friday, but frankly, I wouldn’t trust them with that either. On to the next one...

I normally have good service here for the price, although some manicurists are much better than others and they’ve raised the prices a bit so I was hoping the quality would be more consistent.Unfortunately, I ended up having the worst experience yet. I came in just wanting gel removal and would come back for mani the next day. Anthony upsold me by more than double without even asking just because he used some supposedly nice products (that did smell great but didn’t get what they were for). I was glad he took some time to shape my nails after taking the gel off. It was the least he could do after completely destroying my nails.DON’T EVER let them remove gel only using the electronic sander all the way to your nail (not just the top layer of polish) instead of the tedious acetone and foil routine. I have huge gashes and divots on my nails now and who knows how long it will take for them to even out. They also all broke and were wafer thin.I should’ve just stopped him when I realized it was hurting but instead he just slowed the speed down and the pain went away.Horrible for your nails - they should know better and shouldn’t recommend it as a more skilled and quicker solution to gel removal.

This was the worst my nails have ever looked after getting them done. Stay away from this place. Dont waste your money. If i could give negative stars i would. Old nail polish left on my hands, nails midshaped, thick gloppy dip. My hands actually looked worst after she did them. I wish i could insert a picture. She actually though i was going to let her do my eyebrows.

I finally found one that fits me. Its absolutely amazing. The ladies are all so sweet. They did fabulous work. Overall, amazing product, and even better prices. I this place. Will most certainly be back.

Trust the reviews and stay away!! Not only do they do a terrible job (uneven filing, etc.), they cut a chunk off of my nail when cutting my cuticles to the point of bleeding. After shouting in pain they asked me to leave, saying they couldn’t do my nails because I’m too picky? Asking for even filing and not being cut to the point of bleeding is hardly picky!

Before scheduling a pedicure appointment, I decided to read the reviews to gain some insight on what to expect. There were mixed reviews but I figured the negative reviews were a bit harsh and decided Id give them a chance. Scheduled an appointment for 3:30, went to Luxury Nails and it took approximately 5 minutes before anyone even greeted me. Once I was (finally) approached, I informed them I had a 3:30 appointment. Someone walked in and requested a pedicure (w/out an appointment) and was seated instantly. I waited a few more minutes before leaving and still was not seated! I left and called to let them know I would be posting a negative review because I stand firm with this review. I typically do not take the time to write a review, but I felt it necessary in this case. To management that may be reading this, your customer service needs to match the beautiful ambience and décor of your establishment - which is classy. Right now I rate you as sub par. If you dont improve, you will have fewer clientele supporting you than was in there today...ijs

I got Dip nails one cracked another broke the next day. Terrible. Dip should last 3 weeks minimum. I usually Can last 5 weeks. There was a nail color discrepancy and they did not work with me at all i was Very unhappy. Will not come here again.

I dont think Ill ever go back there again. I went to get a simple, basic manicure, and a few silk wraps due to some damage done by another salon. My friend and I went in at a relatively slow time, there werent many clients being serviced at the time. It was 4:00 p.m. The lady, or ladies rather, that did my manicure were not attentive. Did NOT properly silk wrap my nails. Then, the massage was her slathering lotion on my hands, BEFORE me washing them. Usually the massage is the last step. The main tech told me to wash my hands, and when I went back to my chair she was gone. She comes back 15 minutes later, eating. I overheard one lady leave because she had been waiting to have a service done, and then another lady was like oh, but I thought I was next!. Hot mess. I left there at 5:15 with a poorly, half-done manicure, cuz oh yea! I didnt even have time to get them polished. Then, as soon as I got to my car, one of my nails broke. Soooo yea. Never again.

I had such a bad gel manicure here. I had to ask twice for the technician to file the nails down evenly (they were weirdly lopsided on the thumbs after she filed them initially) and the nail polish started chipping that night. It looks terrible. Just going to do them myself from now on.

I got the full treatment. I had baby feet and glamorous nails that lasted for weeks perfectly! I have been to nail spas across the United States recently and this is my favorite one!!!

I paid for a gift card (that didnt have an expiration date) for my wife and when she went to redeem it they didnt honor it. This place is only in it for the money and is dishonest.Why give out gift cards if customers can not redeem them?

Great work under customer imposed time restraint.

Horrible customer service I sat for 30 mins letting my nails soak. Two other ladies walked in after me and they were assisted before me. I only needed two nails fixed and I wasnt able to get them done. The lady charged me $2 to soak my nails and had a poor attitude. The sad part is that they are rarely ever busy and the fact that I couldnt get 2 nails fixed in that 30 min wait was crazy. The same lady made sure everyone had water but never offered me anything. I will never go again.

My first time here. And everyone was so nice and patient. Did my Pedicute so wonderfully. And I said to the Nail Tech that this was THEEE BEST Pedicute Ive had in three months. Bravo Zulu

Me and my sister came to get manicure and pedicure done . Kelly did my nails, she recommended SNS nails and did very good job on my nails, I love them . My sister got ombré nails by Leo they are so beautiful too, they gave us water and snacks .I thought it was nice . My sister love them too . We definitely will come back here

Just average, nothing special. They were open on the holiday and did not jack up the prices, thats why they get 3 stars.
