Only place Ive gone since I moved from FL that does the quality work I expect.

I went here a pedicure and was happy with the service. The staff was friendly and did a great job.

Great experience. Went in for SNS dip and I was the only one in there other than the tech. Very clean, masks, plexiglass dividers up. Very pleased with my nails.

I have been to Sun Nails Spa twice now and continue to be impressed by their highly quality work. I got a manicure and pedicure this past weekend and have been getting many compliments! I would definitely recommend!

John is simply the best nail tech in Washington, DC. He is so humble and has the highest attention to detail I have seen (I tried about 30 throughout DC until I found him). He gives an amazing foot massage with your pedicure as well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and I still go to him even though I live in a different area now.

If youre more concerned about nail shape than design, go to Christina! Youll get natural looking nails and not the thick bulky nails that a lot of nail technicians throw on your hands. Christina is truly gifted with the art of nail shape (of the nail tip AND the nail bed). I have wide fingernails but she disguised it and made my nails look slender, sleek, and narrow. Most nail techs will say your nail too wide but not Christina! She understands how to make wide nail look slim and feminine! 😍💅🏿

Quick quality service. Both mani and pedi . For under $50. With a foot scrub. No complaints.

They removed the old nails and overlayed my natural nail they did an amazing job.

I’m not sure if I went the wrong day but my nails are very mediocre to say the least. A week later my nails are lifting and one nail fell completely off.

I was a regular at this salon since they do nice acrylic work as far as shape but on more than one occasion I have been disappointed with their Service, pricing, punctuality, and customer service. If you go in for an appointment you can expect to be there far past 3 hours for a fill and Gel pedi. Expect to miss appointments if you scheduled them a few hours after arriving at the shop and within a few days of getting them done beware of peels and cracks. They also will have you sitting waiting in between your services while they help or start ppl who have come in after you. One time I drove there 30 min for my nails I arrived at 7:22 they were supposed to be open til 8. They were mopping when I came in and turned me away claiming they needed to close early. The deal breaker was when my regular nail technician Jenny decided to charge me $20 extra for the same nail service I always receive. I paid it, but I knew I would never return there after. I’m a customer who on average spends about $250 a month getting my nails done so it’s their loss. I would not recommend.

I absolutely adore this place. It can get busy but theyre good at getting you in a chair and taking care of you. Everyone in the facility is extremely kind and they make you feel welcome. Thanks for the spectacular service that matches the quality of the work you guys do!

Sun Nails (formerly U Nails) always does an impeccable job on my nails. Im always pleasantly greeted, offered water, and seated immediately. The Staff is very skilled and meticulous. My gel polish lasts two weeks or more and sometimes I get a complimentary back rub, if theyre not too busy. Ive never had a bad experience here. It is certainly one of the best nail shops in DC. Great place..very friendly...best pedicure in dmv...ask for john...Ive been knowing john now for 7 yrs and he is always willing to go the extra mile to make u comfortable..it is a very clean shop also.. so clean fast professional family owned..come once u will always come back. One of the best nail places in the city. Reasonable prices and they take their time even if they’re busy- And when it’s slower they give you extra attention or longer massage! My regular manicures last over a week. My NY-level nail salon expectations are satisfied :)

They do a awesome job on nails yes from the outside you would think to differ, like they say never judge a book from its cover. The ladies are so nice and dont do rush jobs people constantly are walking in so that tell you something of the clientele for they are loyal.

I scheduled 2 mani/pedis a week in advance. We walked in 5 mins before our appointment time. Our services began 20 minutes late and only 2 people were working on 3 customers, which was awkward. Our pedicures were very rushed, and my friend‘s gel manicure chipped within a few hours of getting it. My SNS manicure was not great, and when I asked for slight changes (nail shape, and requesting they not put shellac over the SNS), the employee seemed very frustrated with me and yanked my hands around to file and paint them. When she was shaping the nails at the end, she got extremely close and nicked my cuticles on at least 4 fingers. Definitely will not be returning.

Theyre amazing! Really nice & helpful they give you cold water and thats needed especially for this heat. They seat you immediately and are very friendly! I highly recommend going.

I got an acrylic pink and white French with gel on top and it was around $55 which is very reasonable for this area. The guy who did my nails was so thorough and even added an extra coat on my one nail that I put sparkle gel on.

Both times I’ve gotten my nails done here I had to return after less than 10 days to get them fixed. First time was a gel nail polish second time was dip powder. You’d expect those two styles to last a bit. But not when you get it done here. My dip was literally cracking off into oieces. Never returning here again. Three times not the charm.

I got my nails done here with my friend and they did an amazing job. theyre all so nice and kind. i love coming here. 10/10 would recommend!!

Im always nervous to try a new nail salon after I move, but Sun Nails was a lifesaver - my nails still look great half a week later and my eyebrows look better than they have in a long time. Thank you greatly, I do plan on coming back!!

I came here because of the 5 star reviews, but was sadly disappointed and appalled by my horrible experience. I needed a new set of acrylic nails as mine were starting to fall off and I was about to go on a week long vacation. The woman who did my nails did not soak them in acetone to help remove them, but forcefully and roughly tried to remove them while they were dry. It was very painful and she ripped half of my thumbnail off nearly to the skin. If I didnt tell her to stop because I was in pain Im sure she wouldve continued. A manager came over to tell me that I was fine and wasnt bleeding, and that I should have them soaked them first before the woman continued. She also said that the nail salon I went to prior had done a bad job. I went to an upscale salon in Florida where I paid less than half the price and was treated much better. I know DC is expensive but this salon isnt aesthetic or particularly organized, and for the poor customer service I wouldnt consider it a spa. The woman who was doing my nails continued to be rough and I did not enjoy my experience and will never return. Ive never had such an awful experience in my life. These people dont seem to care about you and only give a fake smile and take your money for their hole in the wall buisness.

The guy who did my nails tells me that i had to pay $3 more in order for me to get a cut down a little. I just didn’t understand that because i always come here and ive never heard that from them or anyone else. I honestly feel as if he was just trying to get more money which isnt right. They also went up on their prices so ill have to go somewhere else.
