Purchased a pump hose, which split within a week. Returned it and was given another one. The second one also split. Took it back and was told it was past their return policy. I tried to explain that I hadnt been able to return it right away because my husband had had open heart surgery. They basically said that that was not their problem. I have owned my own business for 36 years and sometimes you have to make exceptions.

Walked in and was the next customer in line. When it was my turn, I got my question out and the guy didnt complete his answer and just stated helping the next customer. Its a Good way to lose business though.

Ordered and paid for in ground pool cleaner. Was told in stock 3 to 4 days. 7 days later called & had not been ordered. Apologized and said he found one at another store & having it shipped. 7 days later called back to store and cleaner had to.be ordered from factory. One lie after another. They have good water tester but service is beyond acceptable. Even admitted they service was less than desirable. Beware if you shop Leslies

Sunday was my first time (in fact never heard of them) Lowes in Gastonia sent me there. I walked in and was GREETED by guy. That is rare. After years of being condition by Giant Retail to wonder aimlessly until I have a sense of what I need I started searching for the sand aisle. I didnt even make it around the store when that gentlemen asked what I needed. I told him. He asked if that was my truck and pointed to my truck in the parking lot. I said yes and he told this young lady to ring my order up and he LOADED it while I paid. It pisses at least three people off to get Lowes to load your truck. This is service that I havent seen since I was small boy. Really impressed with their operation.

New pool owner here..Had a leak, called and occupied Luke on the phone several times. Went in and got what I needed, easy fix. This dude was super chill and very helpful. Won me over as a customer for life. Thanks man🤙

I went back and forth 3 times on a single day to try and get the correct pump filter basket. The salesman kept telling me I needed another model number that I couldn’t find, purchasing multiple “universal” baskets. Came back a 4th time for the guy to look at the FIRST picture I took and looked up the part number immediately (not in stock, and they’re not universal). Bad way to stay in business. Won’t be back.

Went yesterday get water check, told me ph was to high, need to drain about third of water, three times and refill, went to Rickard pools had test done. Just my chlorine was high, no need to drain just get chlorine down, these people are nuts, go to Rickard pools, youll be glad you did!

Came in to get some stuff and usually go somewhere else was passing this decided to stop here. Prices are higher and when asked a staff member a question since their products are different than our normal place she seemed huffy and rude. Wont be back next time Ill drive to Lincolnton to my usual spot

The workers try really hard. Can be a bit intense. Will get you what is required.
