Absolutely worth the time and drive. Tech took thier time and listened to what I wanted and how I wanted my nails done. Also took time actually doing my nails and was careful not to cut my cuticles...amazing! Will be going again!

There is a older man., Korean and he does one excellent job on your feet. I love for him to do my feet very satisfied

Not good. Very bad mani pedi and took Forever! The polish all seemed gloopy and the application was poor. I ended up with lumps, streaks and lint. Just very, very bad.

I traveled to Virginia Beach last week and looked for the nearest place to get my nails done. I am pretty picky with my nails (of course the shape is the most important one) and decided to give Maxx Nails a try.The first impression is the salon is clean and the guy receptionist is friendly and informative. I always get acrylic nails (clear powder with shellac/gel on the top) with beautiful design. They have an extensive color choice. Tina is my go to for pedicure and a guy for my nails (I forgot his name). Both of them do a wonderful job at taking care of my nails. They are friendly and we had a good conversation as well!!I love this nails salon and highly recommend Maxx Nails!Ill come back in my upcoming trip to VA

This place was alright when I first started going here almost a year ago. I don’t go that often anymore because the nail techs do such messy work. They rush painting your nails and then they end up looking like you have 40 layers of polish on because for some reason they paint nails that way. Idk only one tech has done my nails amazing here one time and his name is Brian. Don’t let anyone else do your nails here. I only go if he’s there.

Hi ! This is the second time iv’e tried to come to Maxx Nails and received rude to none introduction. I understand coming before 12pm, some people may still be tired in the morning but this was uncalled for. I walked in with my mask on, and they did not greet or acknowledge me. I sat for a second and felt uncomfortable and unwanted, so i simply left to my car. Once i sat in my drivers seat, another employee walked to the door, and shut the once open door as if they did not want anyone coming in the salon. Not to mention there was 2 other females receiving service. I had intentions on getting my eyelashes, toes, nails, and eyebrows done after a good 2 months of receiving no salon services. Im not surprised though, this is the second time of this happening here. Not going a third .

Theyre under new ownership and the Lady there is alright, but the guy name Lee or whatever his name was is horrible he tired too blame the nail polish for the running into nail bed so he took the polish off and did anything the second time and messed my nails up Ill pay top dollar for good quality work/service but this mess here shouldve been free but he charged me $45 for this. I tired too give them a chance, but I wont be back nor will the 6 people that I introduce too this place heres the picture of the $45 work.

I love this nail salon! I had such a hard time finding a good salon when I moved to the area. Been coming here about a year now and everytime they come they do a good job.

After bad service from a chesapeake salon, I went to Maxx Nail. Ty is awesome. He is very creative and a perfectionist. He thinks outside of the normal colors and styles and suggest mic dropping ideas. I love looking at my nails. This salon is a must for every woman. Give them a try.

I was ready to set an appointment for this location solely based on the reviews every last one of them seem like they were very good and when I called the man who answered the phone was very rude and short with his answers so I just hung up and I will not be going to this place regardless of the reviews

Love this place!! Always very polite & you have a ton of options. I like to do different things that not everyone has on my nails & they do very cute designs! I am so rough on my nails (type a lot for work) & not once have they ever popped off!

If I could give this establishment no stars; I would. I just moved to the area and was in search for a nail salon for my biweekly pamper session. After reading the reviews from this establishment I decided to go check it out and they were pretty busy. I didn’t mind the wait at all because I thought that they cared about quality and were taking their time to make sure everything is done correctly.After waiting for 45minutes I sat down the get a pedicure. The pedicurist asked me which one I wanted and when I advised her of my choice; she kept pointing to their pamphlet. I pointed it out to her and then she asked me to choose a scrub; which I did. There were issues with the “bag” they put in the foot “tub” and she kept getting water over the floor even into my sneakers and socks. Find out when I pay for my services that she did the $40 pedicure and I aksed for the $25 one.Next issue, I asked for a full set and the nail technician kept saying she was going to do a full in. I had to tell her that she needed to take off the acrylic nails because they were 6weeks old; and it was definitely time for new ones. This technician pulled out a fake nail and began digging in between the acrylic nail and my nail causing so much pain to my finger. This lady began to tell me that she wanted me to get the powder after I advised her that the powder doesn’t come in the colors I want and I can’t do the design that I would like. After much back and forth I felt like she wasn’t going to do what I asked so I told her to just give me a gel manicure. I asked her for the price several times and she continued to ignore me and speak to the other technicians. After getting my nails painted.... she couldn’t understand what I want a heart meant so I ended up having to do my own design on my nails while she watched.My total came out to $80 for a pedicure I didn’t ask for, wet socks, bleeding fingernails and a design I did myself.Never going back !!!!!!

The absolute WORST nails I’ve ever gotten done. I went to get two full sets with my sister yesterday. We both got started at the same time and before the women was even done putting the acrylic on my sisters nails mine were done (and horrible) I paid for fingertip length tips I got tips that were cut down below my already short nails. My finger tip itself sticks out above the tip which is not fingertip. Not to mention most of the corners of my nails are missing and I don’t think my nails have ever hurt this bad . I will NEVER return or recommend this place . They still charged me even after I complained about how horrible they were now I’m stuck trying to pry them off.

THE OK: First visit I had mixed feelings. My nails werent nearly as clean/nice looking as the competition (acrylic), but Ty swore his nails would last. So I have it time, and he was right they were durable and I didnt loose any nails or feel them pulling up. Personally nails that can last (and Im pretty rough) was way more important to me than the shops that looked a lot cleaner/nicer. So for that theyd earned a regular customer.THE BAD: Ty said the best thing to do was just call ahead and schedule when he was open. After getting off work, I did just that. They asked if I could be there in 10. I said yes. As I was pulling into the parking lot (7 minutes later) they called and told me they had a walk in and I would have to wait until 6. Im sorry, but you just dont cancel on an appointment you JUST scheduled for a walk-in. They offered me someone else, which left me confused as to why when I tell you Im parking (earlier than my scheduled appt), you wouldnt tell the walkin they have to wait, or offer an alternative. I bothered to call ahead and schedule as requested.You lost a regular customer over this.

Kim over charged me for a fill in (i didnt get any polish not even clear coat) and claimed it was because of my shape (meaning she tilted her hand slightly different to maintain the shape i already had) and that she used powder gel to strengthen my nails wen she really just did a basic acrylic fill
