Eric is my go-to guy. He’s amazing, artistic, and free hands all my designs.Everyone that works there is nice, and does great nails as far as I can tell.

I don’t think I’ll ever get my nails done anywhere else. I ABSOLUTELY love RP nails. Tom is the bomb at nail art. They’re nice, they’re fair priced and their nails are amazing.

I love this nail salon... their nail art is amazing and they can do n e thing you want any design and have such a big variety of colors n techniques collectively amongst the artists here that each set of nails are literally a work of art! I make my appointment for my lunch break and they are great at making sure to get me in on time and out with excellent quality nails everytime!

Kenny was rude and unprofessional. I told him I wanted a design. He told me to pick something easy because he was not good at designs and he felt lazy. Then he tried to grossly overcharge me for the very same services hes just told me he wasnt even good at. When I finally gave up on a new design altogether and asked him to just give me the exact same design Id gotten there last time, he tried to charge me twice what I paid for it 2wks ago. I left with plain black nails & no top coat at all. Ive heard nothing but good things about this salon but Kenny made sure Ill never go back or refer anyone else there!

Been going here for a while & always got amazing service until recently. I booked with Eric whom I always book with and this time I wanted something cute but simple. I decided to go short because I was in the process of moving ... I got a yellow set and wanted this design on my ring fingers as I showed him in the picture. Upon seeing the yellow on my nails I changed my mind and told him I just wanted all yellow instead of the diamonds on top. He got mad at me and was loud which made me feel very uncomfortable and said so you don’t want this design I said no he said but you said you want it .. ( before that happened I asked if I can see a little bit of the diamonds on my hand so I can see if I liked it he told me I could but they’ll still charge me even if I didn’t ) which is why I told him it was okay and to just do all yellow. He got mad at me and made me feel very uncomfortable... he usually gives me cuticle oil after being done a set didn’t even do that no lotion or nothing. Every time I go to him I ALWAYS tip good because I value his time and work this time I DIDNT TIP AT ALL. I was very upset with my visit but came to my senses that I might’ve been overthinking it all until I talked to my mom about it. As professionals it’s always your job to make sure a customer comes back & if I come back I will no longer go to him. If a person doesn’t want something ON THEIR NAILS it shouldn’t be a big problem. I dm him on ig recently asking for a fill in and he told me he is booked which was completely shade & I’ve also noticed he unfollowed me lol. It’s no hard feelings with me though I wish him the best 😊

Best place in town!!!Tom is awesome, he is pretty creative. I personally love getting my manicure with him. He surprises me with an amazing design every time I get my nails done. I recommend this place 100%. They have been pretty cautious with the virus as well, everything is clean and they are taking all the necessary precautions.

I’ve been going to RP nails for almost ten years. I am now a regular client (at least twice a month) and have been for almost 4 years now. Tommy, Queen and Ammy are meticulous, clean perfectionists. I will never go anywhere else for acrylics or a pedicure. I never leave unsatisfied with their work. They truly do a great job and I recommend RP Nails to everyone.

I have always had a positive experience at RP; they see me within minutes of my scheduled appointment time, which is acceptable for a busy nail salon. I’ve been serviced by 3 separate technicians and they all pay close attention to detail. They’re friendly and listen to what you want. I love RP nails!

I’ve been going to this salon (Tommy specifically) for 3 years until the pandemic. Once he opened up, he no longer will accept or service his short/medium nail clients. He’s become super rude, unresponsive and very unprofessional to some of his returning clients

To all the negative comments I have read, They’re all false information. To answer all those comments: to book a reservation and making an appointment, what’s the difference with depositing and making a reservation for getting lashes done? They are no different and are not the only people to be doing that. Obviously, if you can’t keep an appointment what’s the use in wasting someone else’s time that also is trying to make money? For another comment that was mentioned about running a business in comparison to this place is obviously going to be different like others. No one is going to be the exact same, moreover; going on into sanitary comments, this place is HIGHLY sanitary. When first entering the store they will ask you to wash your hands, looking at every station there is a shield they had made for protection due to post covid (Not a lot of salons have shields on stations to help protect you and them) They where gloves as needed and change them continuously, there is hand sanitizer every where you look, and they are always wiping down seats and sweeping & moping daily as any normal salon would be. If not, more than most salons. Why would they risk health issues over customers when they have a family of their own too? This is a family business that I highly recommend to anyone. Needless to say, I have been going here for 4 years and have never walked out being unhappy. I am always posting and getting compliments on my nails, that never fails. Tommy is always on time and never disappoints . There aren’t many places where you can just show someone anything off a picture and expect them to make it. They are always up to date with any new colors, designs, artificial scents, and technology. They even have a phone holder while doing your nails & a phone charger right next to you that they provide. And THEY MADE THAT, now how nice is that of them? This place is always up to new things and cares about others and always makes sure they’re satisfied . this place deserves a 5 star rating.

Ive been going to Tom at RP Nails for almost a year and I love his work. If youre in to nail art, hes your guy! His work is great quality and he takes his time with each design. I always leave satisfied!

The shape of my nails were beautifully sculpted. Art lasted 4 weeks without lifting or chipping of polish and no gems lost! I could have went 5 weeks but I wanted something new ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very difficult to schedule an appointment due to his only communication for booking is through Instagram. He threatened to cancel my appointment if I was late after I had to chase and play tag In messages on Instagram. He refused to schedule an appointment with me when I called the shop. When I communicated what I wanted he initially told me $100 which is fine due to needing a full set however once he finished he charged $155. Will not return.

I did get nicked a few times but the outcome was totally worth it. Today was my first day here and I had my nails filled one repair and then repainted chrome. I love them! I actually live in Newport News but I’m seriously considering making the trip from now on.

Ladies save your money and don’t go here! I went for a full gel set and The nail technician didn’t file coffin shape correctly, it’s a thick square shaped The the acrylic itself is SO thick and should never look like how it looks. I kept expressing all the things I wanted him to fix in a polite way and he argued with me and said it’s not his fault I didn’t like my nails.... when I gave him valid reasons as to why I did not and the whole time I asked him to fix and he paid no heed. To run a business requires that customer satisfaction be a priority to the business, customer satisfaction is clearly not PR NAILS priority. I would not recommend

While all of their nail techs are great Tom is especially talented. I’ve gone to him for a couple of years now and always love his work. Their shop is family run, clean, and the manicures/pedicures I’ve gotten from them are always impressive and gorgeous. Kinda surprised that there are any bad reviews on here at all. They’ve always gone out of their way to work with me and make sure I leave happy. I highly recommend them. I won’t get my nails done anywhere else.

Tom does not have good customer service nor does he appreciate his loyal clientele. He could care less about loyal customers that come to his shop—you’re just another dollar sign/number to him. I thought I had finally found a nail tech I could rely on & he failed. :( Sadly so because I truly loved his work. I still do. I had been going for months just to be snubbed and ignored to reschedule my appointment which was an error on his part for even accepting an appointment on a day that he was closed! No apologies. No sense of urgency to even reschedule my appointment knowing I had a broke nail and it had been a month of me having my nails. No care whatsoever. Why accept my appointment when you knew you were closed on Wednesdays? I never heard back from him and he knows my personal number! It definitely rained on my parade. I want to support good people that care not only about their craft but the people they serve. I will no longer patron this business.

Truong did an amazing job on my nails. She took her time and perfected it! Very great customer service as well! I found them on yelp and couldn’t be more satisfied.

I messaged nailsbytomtom on Instagram to book a appointment. The nail tech stated I needed to book a deposit to book, which is the usual standard. Well I didn’t want to use the nail tech due to my meeting time. The next day I receive a nasty message stating because I didn’t come in they would no longer service me. I stated thank you no problem, I have another nail tech. Well I’m also a business owner and people who have encountered myself and my husband business reach out stating I had been posted on the nail tech Instagram and thought it was unprofessional. More people reached out telling me about how unsanitary this location is. I personally haven’t went to this shop but I will be reaching out to my contacts to have them look into to having a inspection done. I hope all you ladies and gentlemen are getting the proper customer service you deserve at a great location. Best wishes!

Andy just gave me the best pedicure that Ive had in the last year. Ive tried several other places recently and have been disappointed every time. Andy paid close attention to every detail. My feet feel great and look great too!

My technician that perform the pedicure was friendly enough. However I walked in the facility, and just got blank stares. People in customer service really need to learn the art of friendliness in order to continue the relationship and gain customer loyalty.

I was able to walk right in with no wait. It’s a lovely place and my technician was extremely nice. He talked to me like a friend the whole time. I could do without so much talk about politics during my next mani/pedi though.

Even though they were busy, they were accommodating. And I left a very satisfied customer. Just moved to the area and I will be going back to RP Nails!

Bad experience!!! Not at good work on my nail. The put different color in my foot and another one in my hands. They algo make feel uncomfortable because I was with my baby, the baby bother them😢the talk bad about me in their language.

I over payed for ombré & it chipped off with in the next 30 minutes. Nail techs are awful and very disrespectful.

If I could give it a negative 10 I would! I went 2 1/2 weeks ago an just got a FILL IN an a matte black gel a couple days later my gel polish was lifting my nails were so thin that one broke in half in my left ring finger I could squeeze the gel out of a tiny pin hole I went back they fixed it an now 3 more have popped off my coffin nail shape is HORRENDOUS this place is absolutely horrible the ends of my nails aren’t even shaped right smh!

This is the rudest shop in the area and they are racists. I tried to tell the old nail tech that he did not paint my nail fully and that there were spots left untouched on his paint job. This man acted as of I grew 2 heads and continued to add the clear coat. I wouldnt let my dog get her nails done here all thumbs dowm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed had high hopes for this place because of their photos on instagram however the acrylic nails fell off the very next day and their gel polish chips off so easily its only been 2 days!
