Got my nails done today by Nina and I love them! I showed her a picture and she gave me exactly what I wanted and I have gotten so many compliments already!! It was so clean in there and the staff was so friendly! I will definitely be coming back!

My wife recently visited prior to our vacation. This visit was awful. The quality of her nails and toes were not up to anyone’s standards. The color was all over and her nails had all kinds of pitting. I could have done a better job. She contacted the business and they were not willing to do anything to rectify.

I was very skeptical about trying new salons because not everyone knows how to cut in grown toe nails!!! My usual lady had to cancel on me due to a car accident & I had a wedding to attend. So I Google & read reviews for salons near my area! This had real, fair, & good reviews. I called & asked if anyone knew how to cut in grown, they said yes, ANNA! I was so nervous going in because without this being done right it affect my daily life routine to run, etc. I was very pleased & happy!! She was the sweetest & gentle!

I had my Dip nail with Nina today, I am so happy with them, she is very professional and sweet, I will love to go again, thank you so much.

Tony is amazing the salon is so clean they take their time with each customer and they in my opinion do the best job I’ve been to a lot of salons and everyone at Somerset nails is amazing Tony Mimi and Duhh for pedicures are the best

Every time I come here there’s an issue. Staff is more preoccupied on the phone and getting more people in rather than the people they are serving at the time. I wait so long for a chair which I don’t mind but at least make the time efficient by wrapping my hands so I don’t waste more time at the chair waiting for my previous dip to come off. And when I suggested this I got “one minute” or “they will be done soon” and I would wait another 15 minutes. Very unprofessional. One thing about owning a business is learning how to be efficient. Hope you take constructive criticism and learn from this.AND when I went to go pay I waited for the lady to finish her phone call. When she looked up she said “oh give me one minute” and proceeded to walk away. The payment would have taken 1 minute. I left the money on the table and left.

I love this place! Everyone is so KIND and every nail technician does a fantastic job!!!!! The place is very clean and nice. I always leave here happy and excited to come back for my next visit. This is by far my favorite nail salon. :)

I was charged extra for a soak off of my last gel polish which I have never before and I have gone there the past year and a half. When I first got there they tired to give me a manicure when all I wanted was a gel polish. Once I went up to pay after they still tired to charge me for the manicure I never got or wanted. I have always had a great experience till this time and the time before where my gel came off in 2 weeks. I will most likely never be back here again

Great experience at this salon with excellent service by nail specialist, Tony. He is meticulous, attentive and gentle. He helped me find a shellac polish shade that turned out to be exactly what I had in mind. I walked out feeling pretty good with the way my nails looked and how soft my hands felt from my manicure. (Thanks, Tony!) Salon atmosphere has an elegant vibe, is light and bright with friendly staff. Masks are worn, social protocols are in place. Credit cards accepted but with an added service charge. An ATM is available within the salon for convenience.

I’ve been coming to this salon since they opened. I’ve had great experiences and always leave happy. Nina and Tracy are exceptionally wonderful and super attentive to detail!!

I went here with my friend who recommended it and I will not come back. Although it was a nice and relaxing environment with friendly staff, my regular pedicure was chipped the day after I got them done and my shellac started chipping within 3 days. I paid for a $50 pedicure and my friend got a regular one and we were basically done at the same time. For spending almost $100 (including tip) for just color, no designs, I am disappointed in the quality of their work. It has not even been 2 weeks and 3 of my toe nails are chipped and 5 of my shellac fingernails are chipped as well.

This was my first time here, and I’m new to Detroit so I’ve been trying to find a reliable nail place. A few of my friends said to try this place out and to either go or Nina or Duke. I ended up having an appointment with Nina but unfortunately due to weather conditions and tweaking navigation moment I was very late for the appointment which was close to closing time. Regardless, Nina and the staff made sure I got my pedicure and shellac manicure done and done VERY nicely. They really were thoughtful and through and clean even though they left well after they closed!!! I love my manicure and pedicure and I will definitely be back. The salon is also very well kept and decorated. The massage chairs were sooo nice too. 10/10 experience and I can already tell my nails will look fresh for a while (since Nina also assisted me picking out the right color, brand, and added one extra coat)!

The girl cut my original nails way shorter than what I wanted without asking me to make it easier for herself to clean the previous nail color and remove the artificial tips. Also, she didnt do the work clean! After getting home, I saw these small white shiny spots on a couple of my nails that are so annoying!

Mimi did a fantastic job on my nails! The overall experience was extremely pleasant, the spa is clean and relaxing, and the pedicure massage chairs are awesome!!

Best pedicure I’ve ever had! Duke did an amazing job! The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 is there’s an extra charge when paying with your credit card. That being said, the service was fantastic!

I was referred to Nina and she was great! After quarantine I have been looking for a new nail person... I decided to give her a try and it was wonderful! My nails have been sh*t and she brought them back to life. Wonderfully friendly people. Helpful and kind. Couldn’t recommend enough. Xx

The red head in bob talks about me in her native language and I can understand her clearly please do not send any more promotion text to my phone I will not return

It was fast I waited 5 minutes and they got me in to seat and nails look good the only thing I dont like about it is they charge you a certain amount with your credit card if you use your credit card they dont do that in New York where I live use your credit card if anything they ask for the tip when you pay for your credit card but you dont pay extra for using your credit card but otherwise in that theyre good

They will file the heck out of your nail color just to avoid wrapping them beforehand. They could care less about your nails health and they won’t even use real shellac color on you but charge you the same. Very poor service

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. I got a pedicure and a full set done. Everything was spotless, they’re taking all precautions with COVID-19.They had comfortable chairs to sit in while you get your pedicure done. I got my full set done by Duke that did an amazing job. I showed him a picture and he exceeded my expectation. I will definitely be back.

Me and my mom got are nails done and they are already coming off we can go to a different place and they will stay on for a month or longer we have had these on for a week and they are coming off already I don’t recommend going there they don’t talk to you while doing your nails other places talk to us when we get are nails done.

Came in today because I saw the grand opening post on facebook! I got a shellac pedicure and Duke did an amazing job. Everyone is so friendly, the chairs are really high tech and comfy (they even have a heater button on the remote for your seat), and the place has an elegant high class feel to it! Also lots of polish colors to choose from ❤️

Every time I come once in a while on Sunday I get a nice nasty attitude you have appointments nonchalant I’m not coming there anymore so don’t have to worry keep your gossip to yourself.

First time since COVID getting a pedicure and they are soooo clean and so professional. The service was so relaxing. They have plexi glass between you and the tech and you feel very safe. It is beautiful inside too!

This is my second time visiting the salon and this time I brought my 9 year old daughter. We both absolutely loved our nails and the I have to say how much I appreciated how kind, accommodating, patient they were with helping her pick her colors and decide on a cute design.

I scheduled a deluxe pedicure and standard manicure. I didnt get the mask that comes with the deluxe pedicure. I even paid more money for the Gold CBD deluxe pedicure. My legs and feet were dry before I left my appointment. I am really disappointed.

It’s decorated very nice. However, be prepared to pay an extra $2 if you use a debit/credit card. Also, If you use the atm be prepared to pay an extra $2.50 service fee! I’m not cheap when it comes to my nails and toes BUT I didn’t like how it was a $5 charge to remove dip nails, $5 cut down, $5 for nail shaping! And even $5 for cuticles to be removed!!!IF I go back it would be for a pedicure only...a basic pedicure! Not the bubble pedicure they like to push for an extra &10!

Extremely rude staff, employee said hi and started talking to another employee while ignoring me. All I needed was my nails soaked. She rudely said $18, as if I didn’t have the money to pay.

Nina was the best. Manicure & pedicure very neat plus she did my eye brows perfect.

Very nice service and salon. Covid protocols in place they disinfect chairs, tables and utensils in between clients and they wear the mask on all the time ( above the nose).
