Moving from PA to NY during a Pandemic was a huge ordeal; but I have finally been able to switch my registration back to NY.Of course there were 3 trips to DMV, but finally I got my tags & registration.I just needed an inspection w/in 10 days.Oh & since I bought my car in PA, there isnt a place on the front bumper for my license plate..The dealership I usually go to for service couldnt get me in until Sept..So what?? Have someone do the inspection, then go to the dealership in Sept for the other thingsAnyway, Rensselaer Honda fit me in.. they did the Inspection, scraped off decals & replaced them with the current ones. They secured the front license plate holder to my vehicle ... They addressed each and every need or concern I had!!!

A really great experience at Rensselaer Honda. I went to Rensselaer Honda after visiting two other Honda dealerships that were closer/more convenient for me, but they didnt have a car I was interested in and didnt seem overly interested in helping me get what I wanted. I decided to drive the hour to Rensselaer and I am so glad that I did.
After driving my 2006 Ford Focus up to 177k miles, I figured it was time to get a newer, more reliable car. I came to Rensselaer Honda because my credit union was holding a car sale, and the dealership had high ratings on Google. As I was checking out a Honda Civic, Jake Morizio came outside and talked to me about the car. He offered to let me take it for a test drive, and they would take that time to figure out the value of my Focus. After the test drive, I I knew the Civic was the car I wanted. The process after that with Jake was as easy and uncomplicated as I could have hoped for. Jake clearly and completely explained the process, and answered any questions I had about the car or financing. Coming from out-of-state, I had a couple more hoops to jump through, but Jake was right there to guide me through them. Im very happy with my new Civic. Jake, and Glenn (Finance Director) are excellent at what they do, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone shopping for a car.
Everyone was wonderful and I love the car! This is my first leasing experience. Its a 2021 white HR-v. Mike went over everything in the most extreme detail that I needed to decide that leasing, rather than buying, was my best option at this time. Great service and friendly staff. Intake process could use a little streamlining and estimated wait times when busy would be helpful. With some minor changes could be best in class service!
Besides needing work on recall repairs I was at the 30,000 mile check up and needed my snows switched to my all-weather tires. They handled everything and made sure with the needed repairs that I approved of everything. They were efficient, kind, friendly and professional.
I have to say that I usually dread buying a new car. But I went to Rensselaer Honda and Tiffany made it so easy. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Honda to go see Tiffany youbwill not be disappointed!

Every time I go in for service, Jeanette is always helpful in explaining what I need for my car. Especially in times of COVID and not having the funds available, Jeanette explained the Sunbit and helped me get nearly $1500 of work done in the span of a few months. Now, because of this, I can always afford to fix my car when a problem arises! It’s the fact she took the time to review everything with me, plan my trips into the shop for service and getting this credit program to work for me that makes me extremely grateful!Highly recommend working with Jeanette, would give more than 5 stars if the site would let me :)
Service was excellent. They replaced my battery, testing to be sure there was no unusual drain on it. Appointment was easy to make.It would be nice to get the on line offers when you call in person... get so tired of on line stuff. While I could have made the appt on line to receive the discount and free car wash, etc, I didn’t, my own personal protest against the loss of human contact.
Everything was great. The only thing we would ask is for your sales team and financial advisors to take there time saying and writing what they mean. We were told our monthly payments were a particular price only to find out it was wrong and the financial advisor told us 15 when he meant 5. Just small issues. Everything else was great.

I received mailer indicating they need used cars and that there is a program going on that will allow them to give $6k over KBB value. While i know there is fine print with all these offers, when i went in to the dealer with the mailer, they offered me below KBB estimate for my vehicle, even thigh it was excellent condition, 3 years old with only 15k miles. I asked why i didnt get close to the number advertised and was told my car was only worth a certain amount. I explained the mailer said they would pay up to 6k over that amount. I asked where that money was and why my car didnt qualify. I was given no answer other than he doesnt like those mailers. Waste of time and just false advertising to get you in the door. Ive purchased 3 cars from Rensselaer, but there is no customer loyalty anymore. Ill stick with Mohawk Honda like i did for my last purchase, much fairer offers right off the bat.
I had a great experience buying my first car from an actual dealership shopping with Rensselaer Honda. Adam was wonderful at helping me pick out exactly what I wanted. I showed him a few I liked and gave him my budgets and must haves. He pulled similar vehicles for me to test drive and helped my find and finance the perfect used vehicle for me and my son.

My sales guy, Mike Williams was helpful at every step of the process, explaining everything, so that I never, at any point, felt like he was trying to take advantage of a customer.Also, Honda is offering, for the first time in its history, a 0% financing rate. Apparently, I was the first customer ever to receive the 0% rate.I really love the Honda I purchased: its got numerous safety measures, and its a great ride. I expect it will hold value for several years.

Was there on a wednesday, power went out, had to come back Friday, got my car inspected and oil change. When all done, I was told because I had to come back, they waived the charge for the inspection, $21.00, I was truly surprised and thankful.
Andy & Dan put me in a brand new pilot allowing more room for my business supplies and my teams. I will never go anywhere else after the amazing experience I received. They worked around my insane schedule, did all of the details over the phone and when I arrived to pick it up they had EVERYTHING ready. I selected the services that I needed for my car, and knew the price of each service and the total charges, so no surprises. I used the chat function after I dropped it off on Sunday night, so I could add a tire rotation. My car was ready on time the next day. When I arrived to pick up my car I was greeted right away by the service rep, who was very iefficient, nformative and pleasant. Overall a great experience. Had inspection of my 05 Pilot with no issues. The check list is very helpful and gives the owner heads up on future repairs. The only problem was that the hood was not completely latched which I noticed when I arrived home. Reason for 4 stars.

Dan Durivage was my sales representative and he did a great job in finding me a used CRV with low miles. I missed out on purchasing a CRV that I had my mind on at Rensselaer Honda, however, I moved to slow, and someone purchased the vehicle. Dan looked out and told me that he would keep me posted and inform me first regarding if another CRV similar came in, he would let me know. I purchased my 3rd vehicle from Rensselaer Honda and will most likely purchase my future Hondas from Rensselaer Honda. I ran into a bad apple a few years ago at Rensselaer Honda, however, Dan made up for that bad experience.

Very disappointed in Rensselaer Honda. Bought my last car there. Received a letter stating they would give me 19,886.00 for my car no matter the condition. My car is in excellent condition, a 2017 with less then 20,000 miles. Went there today, and was only offered $16,000.00 for my car toward a 2021. Will not be buying my next car from there!!

Aside from really good people, the experience at Rensselaer Honda for me can be expressed in one word, speed. I dont mean they rush you. On the contrary, they tailor (for me at least) the experience with the understanding that I am busy and dont have hours upon hours to spend buying a vehicle. I know what I want. I know the deal I want and 90% of the time, I get what I want all the way around. If youre like me at all, thats called a virtually painless car buying experience. Five stars easy.

Went looking for a specific car. I called and asked about the car, made an appointment (10 mins later) but the car was already sold.It was the only 1 in that configuration they had. Im sure the girl knew it was sold but her job is to get me in the door. Mike(?) helped me, he wasnt pushy but didnt have what I wanted.

Went in for an inspection waited an hour to be told they were going to charge $31 to replace a $1.25 marker bulb. O by the way the internet went down at 4:45 so they could not do the inspection suddenly. Im sureeeee that had nothing to do with the mechanic wanting to end the day by 5pm and them limit OT. So yeah I left work 2 hours early to get an inspection. Not only did I loose that valuable time but I also lost pay and got nothing accomplished. They did offer to comp the $20 dollar inspection. I would rather have my time back and that pales in comparison to the 2 hours of work I lost. Ill have to take more time off or use my Saturday for a BS inspection. Not satisfied at all...

I recently had an appointment at Rensselaer Honda for a 20,000 mile service. They were nice, professional and timely, and I would highly recommend. I was impressed by their thoroughness; they found that my rear brake discs were prematurely delaminating due to an issue currently under investigation by Honda, and replaced them under warranty. Again, I would highly recommend them for service.

I purchased a brand new 2020 CR-V and I was experiencing wind noise on the drivers door. After diagnosing the issue it was determined that the guide rail for the window was bad. Rensselaer Honda order the part needed and it was installed at a scheduled return date. The issue was immediately resolved. My experience with the service department as it always is was great.
They were very fast, offered complimentary snacks and beverages and had a nice fireplace.
