Have not been there yet, but the people are very nice and yes I will drive across my state line to see them

I recently had to part with our VERY loved Dobie Kenya (originally Millie). She was the best dog I’ve even had in my life. She required a lot of work in rehabilitating and patience in becoming the “dog” she didn’t have the opportunity to be before she was rescued. TDR+ is a phenomenal rescue that cares immensely about their dogs. Please know that most of their dogs do require some sort of rehabilitation or have gone through such, and they are 150% committed to their well-being and seeing them placed in the best home to suit their needs and personality. The application process is in-depth, which I really respect. I’m glad they look for the right home, and not just any home. Rescuing a dog is never easy, but I would work with them again in a heart beat. I will be applying to foster with them soon, as I would love to be more involved in such a great mission. Eventually I will adopt from them again.

I was interested until I started to fill out the application. There is no need to know who I work for, their phone number and address. Im not buying a car. Nor do they need to know what I drive. Im looking to adopt a dog that needs a loving home

I adopted Louie from TDRP last September and had a wonderful experience. I have volunteered with numerous rescues for years and this team was great. They were quick to respond, the foster spent over 30 minutes talking to me and answering my questions. Everything they told me about him was honest. I drove and met them in Asheville and was able to adopt him there. Highly recommend them.

Good took long. It was good but small portions. Service was not too great. Never refilled our drinks. And disappeared after dropping off check to us.

The ladies at TDR gave me a pet, that turned into a four legged member of the family. They answered calls from me, and found resources for me to utilize to make “Morgan” a well behaved young dog, and me a better owner. Seven years later I look at Morgan and think about TDR; I think my life is better from touching base with them years ago. 5 stars isn’t enough!

I had a terrible experience with them. The type I would never wish on my worse enemy. Until then I couldnt say enough nice things about them. They were quick to forget everything I did for them for free for years. Because of this experience I will never foster for any rescue. I wont even consider a rescue. Ill buy my family members from a breeder. If you choose them make sure to chip your dog and have their chip removed, they never reliquish rights to your dog.Should I get a snarky remark in the comments Ill share my experience in full details. Its not a flattering story for TDR.

They never got back with me to fill out an application over the phone

I just had to put my best friend of11+ years down. Tasha wasnt a pet she is family. I miss her terribly. So I would love to have another Doberman they are awesome addition to any family.

I just lost my Doberman Starlight Hope on March 15th and having a hard time of such a heartbreaking time . Im so lost without her by my side 24 / 7 and 365 days a year ! She was not just doggie dog as her daddy called her she was my Baby Girl whom was so loyal to me never taking her attention off of my every move ! I miss her so much and I go out every night and tell her Its Bedtime Baby Girl !!

Couldn’t have asked for a better dog. Great program.
