Fred and Sam have now helped fix my car four times in the last couple months. They are always straightforward, honest and extremely helpful! They don’t try to sell you their services for something you may not need. They fixed my AC, compressor, belt, alternator, etc. They are very responsive and work fast! I got my car towed here and within a day they had everything fixed. Prices are very reasonable. Could not recommend them more!

Automotive Castle recently repaired the noisy exhaust on my food truck and did an outstanding job. My truck is now quiet as can be! Plus they did the work quickly and at a good price. I’ve taken my car there in the past for brake work too. I like working with them - Sam and his crew are nice guys and they always get the job done in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. I’m really glad I found them!

I called for a quote, He told me to bring it in so he could look at it. When I brought it in, he didn’t even look at it and he told me that it was too difficult for him to do. So I went home and did the repair myself, even though I recently had open heart surgery. It only took me one and a half hours to complete the repairs. I was willing to pay up to $500 for the repair. All I can say about this place is that I’ll never go there again and I’m going to tell all of my friends not to go there.Thanks for wasting my time, Frank!Oh, and thanks for saving me $500!The repair that I wanted was rear leaf spring shackles replaced.

As a woman, when I walk into a vehicle repair shop, I usually get ripped off and get take advantage of, but never have I ever gotten ripped off at Auto Castle! I love Fred, Sam and Dee. They always make sure to give me the best deals and they always get the job done as fast as possible so that i’m not left without a car. They are honest workers which is hard to come by these days. Fred and Sam were recommended to us by another mechanic at a used car dealership, almost five years ago. He said Fred is the most knowledgeable and trustworthy person, (not the most trustworthy mechanic, but most trustworthy person), that you will meet. He was absolutely right, and we have never looked back. I have never trusted a mechanic in my life, in any city that I have lived in, so we always got a second, and sometimes third estimate, but Fred and Sam were not always markedly more inexpensive, but their workmanship is SUPERIOR. I have never had to go back!!! I have recommended many people to Fred and Sam, and I know they are happy because they always go back, even for regular maintenance. The peace of mind you have, knowing that when you drop off your car you are not going to get bamboozled, is priceless. I usually dont rave about a place after spending over $1,000 to repair an old Aviator. This repair shop is run by the owner, operator who not only do good work but care about the customer. They are honest and sincere about spending your money. Its all about reputation and they have earned my trust forever.

Automotive Castle is the best I ever experienced in customer service, knowledge and honesty. I took my car to the OEM dealer for electrical problem they quoted me $95/hr for a minimum of two hours just to investigate. At Automotive Castle they investigated the issue for more than two hours and charged me for the fix only, which was fracture of what I wold have paid elsewhere. It was amazing experience.They often give advise even if it means losing business; their main concern is to satisfy the customer and get the job done to your satisfaction.I recommend Automotive Castle services to anyone, if they cannot do the job I can grantee you that they will direct you to the best solution to your car problem.

If you want a mechanic, who actually understand how a car and all its systems work, and why one or more are no longer working, then go see Fred or one of his trusted mechanics. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are fast, and they always search for the best possible price on parts, resulting in a much lower bill than other garages. They will explain exactly what is wrong, how much the labour cost is and how much the parts cost is, and they are open later during the week.I will admit, Fred might come off a bit gruff at first, but I think deep down, he is just a big teddy bear. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and been very fair. On average, each repair has been 50% cheaper than going to the dealership, and 20% -30% cheaper than other mechanics in the area. Quality workmanship, no BS, fast and reliable service.

My wife and I have been coming back to Freds for years. They have always been very fair with their pricing and do quality work. They have even given us rides home when we needed to drop off a car overnight! I started having handling issues with my Pontiac G6 and I scheduled an appointment with Fred at Automotive Castle. I dropped my car off in the morning and they inspected the vehicle to identify the problem by noon the same day.Fred called me around noon and explained to me exactly all the issues that needed attention and gave me a fair price for the work. He also was very honest and told me that I did not need a new catalytic converter. I had explained to Fred and Sam (son) in previous conversations that I thought this was the problem but it was not needed.The work on the car was done before 5pm the same day and I took it for a ride that night, The car drives and runs great! I will always trust Fred and Sam with my vehicle. I hope this review helps other people because I know it is very difficult to find a fair and honest mechanic these days.

These guys know their stuff! Fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I stopped in for an oil change because its near my work.I was also in the market for new tires and tire rods. Their quote was right in line with the big chains for tires and their oil change price is a little below average. My out the door price was about $100 less than expected. Add to this it was the first snow storm of the year. Their fast service probably saved my life!

Very poor service. I called them to ask a question regarding my car leaking coolant and wanted to know if it was was a result of something that was loose (which i could fix myself) or, if my radiator itself needed to be fixed. While i was in the MIDDLE of saying this he cuts me off So why are you calling me? then before i could even respond, he rudely interrupted me AGAIN and said You need to bring it in, just bring it in! Long story short i had called 2 other places prior to this one in order to get different opinions and estimates, both of which were eager to help, and did not interrupt nor shout at me.

This place is horrible, they only keep paper records on your vehicle, no history no quick look up. Took my car there to have the struts and shocks replaced, within 1 year the Coil spring broke and when I took it back to them, they told me that the front had used parts on it...Funny since they were the only ones to replace my suspension parts. When I couldnt find my receipt they fought with me stating that they didnt fix the car even though his mechanic stated that he remembered completing the work on my car. Another of my co-workers had issues with them also and will not be taking her vehicle back to them either.

Spent $300 on my car, had no car for 3 days, and it kept doing the same thing. He told me to bring it back but I didnt trust him, so I took it back to my usual mechanic in Livonia, the car whisperers, and they fixed in in an hour and charged me $20. This guy is a rip off. Dont waste your time. He also threatened to sue me if I wrote a bad review, instead of trying to solve the problem.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. THEY DONT KNOW JACK ABOUT CARS AND THE MECHANICS ARE SLOW AND RETARDED.

They asked me to delete the DPF on my diesel car, I dont know who gives this guys a license to fix cars, It is illegal to do that.
