Property Manager doesn’t take care of the gnat s problems in the apartment which is supposed to be “luxury living.” This has been going on for over a month. Pool has been closed for a month. Gym equipment stays broken. Maintenance doesn’t pick up trash regularly. I am waiting to hear from Corporate to see if they do anything. See some photos of gnats in fridge, bowls. I bought a trap. Hallways always have food on carpet. This is not a way to live!

Don’t let your kid live here! This place is a complete dump and nothing seems to get resolved and your paying top dollar to live there!! My daughter has been there a month and it’s one problem after another not to mention how disgusting and dirty her apartment was on move in day! 4 parents spent hours cleaning the place and 1 parent went out to buy an air filter because it was so dirty, obviously hadn’t been changed in a very long time. The dryer was all backed up with lint, again never maintained. The list goes on. And don’t even get me started on the mold throughout the place!! The kids have been sick since a week of moving in. Maintenance told my daughter there was nothing they could do about the mold!! And now I find out that the mold problem has been an ongoing issue throughout the complex since last year and they do nothing to fix it!! Yet they expect you to pay your rent on time or else get charged a late fee. So management doesn’t hold up their end of the contract, maintaining the building and apartments! I will not stop complaining about this place until the mold is gone for good! Boycott the nine!! Live elsewhere for a lot cheaper and no mold!

Once again more issues with the nine! Management is terrible. We wrote and email to hope who is the manager and they told us to wait 7 business days for a response. We called and no call back. Don’t waste your money. Disgusting management and property.

This place has been absolutely terrible. The rent thats being paid is way too much for the service we actually get from management. All complaints that we have about the building are NEVER addressed. Even during finals week, theres no system put in place to reduce noise.

The Nine Tallahassee has some of the most rude and dismissive management I have ever dealt with. We have a mold problem in our apartment that is only getting worse and worse every day. It started last summer we noticed mold growing on some of our personal belongings as well as the walls and in the closets. Management would not admit there was a problem and kept ignoring our demands for the issue to be further looked into. We had leaks that were not deemed a priority which have certainly added to the mold problem. It was only after the department of health was threatened to be called that they had someone come and look at the apartment to test the air quality as we all are sick from the mold. That was three weeks ago and we still have not received the results of the test, Joshua, the manager, then gave us many excuses as to why we didnt have the results and blamed it on the company who did the testing. We then reached out to that company who did the testing and they told us the results have been in for weeks and the Nine is refusing to complete payment. We have not only has many items ruined by mold but have constantly been talked down to by management and that is only the beginning of the problems. We know there are many other residents dealing with these problems and it has yet to be addressed to the community as a whole. We are constantly mislead and lied to by the management and they even hung up on me the other day when I tried to ask a question. Do not live here, it is overpriced and very poorly run.

I apologize to anyone who may have read my first review, I wrote that positive review because I wanted a free T-shirt. In other words I sold out, with that being said. DO NOT LIVE HERE, yes the pricing and pictures make it seem worth it and trust me I thought the same thing but trust me, I lived here all year. The humidity in the apartment was insane. My flooring within the unit needed to be replaced multiple times and it only happened once. Not only this I lived here during the Corona virus so I split my time between tally and home. Well between these times my AC broke which I made note of. Well they must’ve deemed it not important because during the times of my maintenance requests they claimed it was fixed! Well it never was and my flooring through all this continued to rise. Not only this, i continued to come back in order to tighten things up and prepare myself to move out but I couldn’t even stay in my own apartment that I pay 1000$ to live in a month because they continued to say the AC was fixed even though it was 83°. All in all take your money elsewhere I lived in stadium center before this and their properties are much better relative to price. The nine is outrageously overpriced compared to the concern they give your needs. If I actually could, Id give them 0 stars, unfortunately I can’t, so instead I’ll give them half a star! Wait! I can’t:( it doesn’t give me an option to allot half a star so unfortunately I must give 1 star even though that’s not what this property deserves. So please understand that 0 stars it was this place earns!!! no one should spend this kind of money on a place like this:(

This place is over priced and disgusting. The management is horrible and the place is gross and not kept up with. There are so many other apartments that are nicer and cheaper I would recommend! Do not rent here.

I just want to say that Anthony and Eileen have been an awesome management team. I must say that I have been drilling them with questions (like any parent would) and they have been nothing but professional and transparent the entire way. Very close to campus and awesome amenities! HIGHLY recommend sending the kids here.

This is a horrible place to live. The hallways, common areas, elevators, etc. are very dirty and messy. It is common to have trash left in the hallways for days at a time. Some of the apartments have a mold problem that is ruining the residents clothing, shoes, health, quality of life, etc. I have attached pictures of the living room couch with mold and many shoes with mold. The office tells the residents that it is not mold and has done nothing to compensate for the ruined items.The rent is overpriced. The parking garage in the center of the building is only available for an excessive $60 a month. You may notice, if you visit, that it is never more than half full.

Theres new management this year, and its the worst ive ever seen. The nine has a major MOLD problem, and management is trying to cover it up and pretend it doesnt exist. My apartment has had this issue for months, and nothing has been done to stop it, weve just been constantly told its not mold. We have gotten sick, we have lawyers, we know residents on every floor of the nine with this issue, and management is STILL kicking me out of their office when I try to discuss this issue with them. I have felt taken advantage of, and undermined. For the obsurd price I pay to live here, the elevators are constantly broken, the hallways never lock, hallways smell like trash 24/7, stairwells have puke all in them, bedrooms are way too small, the tv channels never work, they allow massive parties to be held here during a pandemic, and theres MOLD IN OUR BEDROOMS. I have been treated so terribly by the manager here and I strongly discourage anyone who wants to live here to not. Its NOT with the price and management are the most rude people I have ever dealt with.

If I could leave zero stars I would. In the middle of a pandemic, they allow their residents to throw parties that can be heard from blocks away, and do nothing to stop it. We have called the cops, we have called their office, and they continue to let their residents throw parties of 50+ gatherings. If you’re looking for a place to study, call home, and enjoy your school year, this place is NOT IT.

The NINE Tallahassee, not only the BEST place to live in tally, but has the nicest staff and the process has been so easy! Ever since the beginning the nine has worked hand in hand with my sister and I. They are always so enthusiastic, supportive, and helpful. We are so excited to live here for the next 3-4 years! They are always so quick to answer any inquires we may have and signing a lease has never been easier. The NINE is THE place to live! Oh and the amenities are awesome. Check out the roof top pool, bowling, and GYM!!

I have lived in several other apartment complexes across Tallahassee and The Nine has been the best experience so far. I have been living here with my brother and my best friend since they opened the doors. I will admit that the gym and pool where the main attractions for me signing to live here, and they were not as equipped as the online pictures were made out to look. That being said, all that was promised by the descriptions has been given and I couldn’t be happier. Maintenance has come quickly and fixed all the issue a brand new apartment complex may have. The staff is more than friendly and have made my time here a pleasing and fun experience. Ask for Evan, Cole, or Ay at the front desk cause they are awesome! I would 100% recommended living here to anyone interested in a luxury apartment with an amazing location close to campus and the football stadium. A+++

Im moving into this fabulous apartment in a few weeks and I cant contain my excitement! Besides the apartment building being absolutely beautiful the staff who works there are even better. From the moment I entered the office, they helped me every step of the way towards signing my lease. As this is my first apartment it was very nerve-wracking but they made the process as smooth as possible. My parents and I call almost every other day with the most random questions and they are always extremely nice and happy to help. Cant wait for move in day!

Our daughter currently lives at The Nine Tallahassee and I must say that, as a parent, I am really happy about the way that her experience has gone so far. While she may have initially had a small concern was an ice maker, the management and maintenance team got it situated very quickly. Yes, while it may be a little more on the pricy side, its worth EVERY penny. Often times parents only leave negative reviews on these kinds of forums, but I thought it would be helpful to the team to acknowledge what they do each and every day to make the students living experience worthwhile! We will be renewing!

My daughter didn’t end up signing with The Nine because of limited availability but wanted to leave a review on how exceptionally professional this office conducts themselves. They were very honest, prompt and transparent with the entire process, not to mention very knowledgeable.

Originally was asked by the apartment complex to write a 5 star review for their publicity before moving in. My actual review would be negative stars if that was possible. I’ve lived in multiple apartment complexes in Tallahassee, and my experience here so far has been nothing short of disappointing and disastrous. Everything from the appliances, to management staff and maintenance seem to be unable to work or help when needed. Not only have I had consistent issues, and have only lived here for 3 weeks, my neighbors and other friends that live in the building have had major issues without repair or consideration. This place is a joke, 10/10 do not recommend living here.

My daughter Emma is a freshman at Fsu and is very proud to be a resident here! Extremely happy of the customer service, professionalism, and cleanliness (most important!) of the staff which makes me one proud papa! Keep up the good work guys!

Having lived here for the past Semester, I can say that i truly have no complaints. Every issue i’ve ever had with my apartment, i’ve had quickly resolved with the help of the on site staff and workers. Truly the BEST place to live for an FSU student.

I wanted to leave a review to compliment how awesome my apartment and the entire community is. Not gonna lie, I was very skeptical at first because apartment complexes this large is a hit or miss with customer service but The Nine EXCEEDED my expectations. Also, my roommates and I had a very small issue in the apartment and the manager, Anthony Siders (Hope I spelled his last name right) took the time to visit our apartment and speak with us to explain what was going on and they had it fixed FAST.

I remember the day my friends and I saw an ad for the Nine and we knew immediately this was where we wanted to be. We never even thought twice about signing a lease the next day and were welcomed with free food and good company in their leasing office. Ever since then they’ve done the most amazing job keeping all their residents excited about living there with sneak peaks and informative emails. Their customer service is amazing and they’re so welcoming always! I haven’t even stepped foot in my apt yet and i’m already on cloud nine. If you wanna be the coolest kid in tallahassee then you better be living at The Nine!!

All of us are paying nearly $1000 a month and almost all of us have broken appliances. Our dryer has been broken for over a month now and the maintenance staff has repeatedly shown us that they do not care or take us seriously. They have come to our room at least five or six times now to come “fix it” but every time it’s a new issue and they leave without doing anything. The maintenance staff has repeatedly shown carelessness when attempting to fix things and the management staff constantly ignores our issues. For the money we pay to live here, it’s not worth it. Live somewhere else.

All I can say is WHAT A PLACE!!! The 9 Tallahassee is by far the nicest off campus housing apartment you can find. Location cannot be better, nestled between Doak Campbell stadium, college town, and class buildings. Fantastic amenities.....roof top pool, gym, study rooms, bowling alley, and apts from 2-6 bedrooms with each student having their own bathroom. Each apartment comes Fully furnished and is immaculate. Staff has been extremely helpful, prior too, during and after move in. Evan took extra good care of us helping throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be happier how the building came out considering we signed the lease when it was just a shell!

I am so excited to be able to live at the Nine this coming fall. All of the staff has been so accommodating and amazing with everything. I hope to continue my leases at the Nine during my next few years at FSU. GO NOLES!!!!

Any other families select a Loft and now find out they have NO closets? How can a bedroom have NO closet. Called and left message, no call back. Called again...this is NOT acceptable! The model we selected had a closet, the picture on website shows a closet but now come move in...NO closet! Not happy, least they could of done was call and advise of the change. What we signed up for, paid for is very different from what we are getting! Resident beware!

Got everyone to post 5 star ratings for a raffle before they opened the building. Horrible customer service, none of the appliances work (broken washer dryer and fridge). Subpar staff who either does not care or is simply unable to help due to either not being prepared or qualified. Pool has been open for a week and has already been shut down. Other residents complaining about leaks all in the building. Do not live here, live anywhere else in college town.

I am currently going to be living here in the fall and I absolutely and so excited! The construction is coming along so well and everything looks amazing so far! As far as the staff goes I believe that they are truly raising the bar for hospitality. I have reached out to their staff many times as I have had questions regarding my appartment, parking, roomates ect.. and they have always been able to give me an answer right away. What I love most about staff is how interactive they are with their residents making them feel at home with their social media presence, giveaways, and contrition updates ect.
