Beware!! Regardless of paying rents for two students the property Manger Austin is very ugly in communication and made up a criteria to decide on renewal of leases. One student can renew the the other can’t. He proceeded to threaten us “call an attorney” if we didn’t like it and hung up the phone on us. We have called back several times Austin want come up the phone now. Still waiting on Regional Manger Carissa to call back. Not to mention internet has not worked all year or cable and Maintence doesn’t respond at all. Folks if you value your students safety and health stay away.

Overall this is a good place to stay. I was paired perfectly with my roommate, personality and maturity wise. Maintenance usually gets to everything within a reasonable time unless it’s around the time when leases are ending/renewing. The neighborhood is on a bus line which is great for those without cars. If you are looking for a party neighborhood, this is not it, it’s very laid back. I’ve lived here almost a year and have not witnessed any type of criminal activity. The pool hasn’t been opened since I moved here and that was before COVID19. The gym is nice and is usually empty or near empty for those who aren’t people people. Office staff is pretty cool, if you ask them to deliver your packages to your door they will. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly the worst place I’ve ever rented. Pretty much everything will be broken at one point and no one will come fix it no matter how many times you put in a maintenance request so expect to do everything yourself. The office will most likely not be able to help you with any problems, that’s if they even answer. Actually had my motorcycle stolen earlier this year from this complex, the office wouldn’t even help me with the security cameras. I psychically had to bring a police officer in and they told him their cameras were fuzzy and wouldn’t give any Information or even try to help in any way. You could literally take off the door of my locked mail box using your fingers so if you order anything expensive be careful. Had a bed ordered to the office in the beginning of the year and they somehow assumed I didn’t live there so they sent it back after specifically letting them know there would be a bed delivered. Having an apartment comes with the price of thin walls but boy are they thin I can hear everything all the time so if you enjoy banging from surrounding neighbors at 3 am this is the place for you. Rent is ridiculous for how much of a sh*t hole this place is my list could go on and on I just want to warn anyone who might want to live here that its not worth it. Only thing I enjoyed was the free gym but most equipment is going to be broken so I just use the dumbbells. Also the inside has a pool table which was cool for nights but the balls went missing every other week and sticks were broken so you’ll need your own equipment, same for ping pong table. Pool has been closed from health regulations ever since I moved there. Best of luck.

I deeply enjoy the meridian. My unit is spacious, my furniture and appliances are cohesive, I have ceiling fans!!! The employees in the front office are always kind and helpful. It does take a bit of time for them to respond to maintained requests but we haven’t had any major issues so far. As far as student housing goes I’ve been most satisfied with the meridian especially at its price point. There’s always parking it hasn’t been too loud overall a pretty great place to live.

I am an older disabled person, moving from a 2300 sq ft home of 30 years to an apartment. All new for me. Had no idea what I was in for. The property looked pleasant and my tour guide was well informed. The property had what I needed, swimming pool, laundry in each unit and a fitness facility. I have been very pleased. The entire complex has been quiet. I have met several friends in my brief stay. I have called on maintenance twice. The first time was not urgent, the second time was. JB, who is now my friend, responded and went to considerable trouble to solve the issue. In all I am happy.

I have no issues living at The Meridian despite the non positive reviews, I can only speak on my experience so far. My requests, whether it has to do with extended rental due date or a maintenance request, it’s always fulfilled. The team in the office are amazing, I want to give a big thanks to The Meridian team and maintenance for great work. I needed a replacement chain for my ceiling fan and instead received a brand new fan in less than 24 hours . Very efficient. And a new beautiful fan at that. Thanks to the maintenance team. Big thanks to April for being great and having a great team in the office, you guys are greatly appreciated.

Staff is very prompt with requests and friendly, the area is safe and mostly quiet. The only thing I was not expecting was how dated the non-renovated interior looks, but give yourself a day to really deep clean and decorate, and it will feel more like home. There are also more bugs crawling around than the on-campus apartment I lived in for undergrad in central FL, and I’m on the 3rd floor! Come prepared with a can of Raid. You really do get what you paid for, keep an open mind!

DO NOT MOVE INTO the MeridianI signed a lease, gave security deposit back in March with the promise of an recently upgraded all wood flooring 3/3 being told there was only another clean girl living there. The day before move in I was told they would need to move me into another unit because my roommate which is there alone is living with a child. The new apt they wanted to move me into has carpet and I denied it because of my asthma. They told me the roommate would be leaving in 3 months. Itold them I didn’t wish to have to move to another apt and wanted what was originally promised since I had my family fly out from overseas to help me in this move and that was expensive enough already. Before moving in i was told I would get the original apt that was agreed upon. After two days of moving and travel, I arrived, signed, paid the first month rent. The leasing manager Sydney didn’t even bother to go up and do the move in inspection like any other legitimate property does. I found it weird but they were very nice and I was exhausted so I went with it. I walked in, it’s all carpets, stained EVERYWHERE, my future roomAnd the other were open (I was told all rooms not being used remain locked to prevent the other roommate from using them, something obviously being done from the status of the rooms) one filled with furniture as if it were used, closet doors missing handles, rusty bathroom fixtures, with a missing light,missing towel hangers,ect. When I told them it wasn’t what they gave me they said the property had been inspected for move in and carpet cleaned. Obviously not. When you paid for a property you expect s new home where it was been properly inspected. Whomever inspected this, needs to find a new industry where quality control is not a job requirement. Now the only way I will get my money back and not be stuck owing the rent for the remainder of the May- June 2020 lease is if I get it subleased. They kept saying I would receive the lease through email and I never received it, and i get emails to upload documents. None with my lease. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to go through that experience, so watch out. I asked them how I am supposed to get someone to live somewhere I wouldn’t but they said it’s an easy market considering all the students. Clearly they recognize the need and don’t care about delivering a quality product. The other options they gave me were to go to another apt with carpet and not upgraded and then have to move to another unit in aug where they said they would help however their word is already untrustworthy. I told them I just me money back and to be out of the lease. I will have to now take it up legally. So beware and don’t move in here.

The original furniture in the apartment wasn’t the best but it was handled quickly and efficiently. The staff is super cool, very upfront and really helpful too! Maintenance team was nice and they seem to have a pretty fast turn around as well.

Maintenance may take a little bit before they come and fix what’s wrong but everything else is fine. the people are nice and the front office staff tries to get everything done as fast as they can. they also have great room mate matching, I haven’t had a problem with my roommates and they both are super nice. overall a good place to live.

Apartment was everything we were told we were going to receive and we have gotten help immediately when we have asked. Finally, Nicole has texted and asked if everything was okay and was amazing helping us with our wifi. Maintenance crew came out & fixed almost everything the day after submitting the request. Really appreciate this place!!

Ive been here going on 2 years and it has been mostly pleasant. Im in a discount unit so the appliances are old and inefficient but our maintenance team is friendly and the April is an awesome manager! My only recommendation for improvement is NO MORE CARPET! It makes no sense to have carpets in Florida! Mop-able floors are the best.

The staff and community here are fantastic. There are some issues (namely the lack of parking and how narrow the lot is), but nowhere is going to be 100%. For the price, you definitely cant beat it - and the maintenance team are amazing. They show up quickly, get the work done efficiently, and are incredibly friendly.

The interior of the non-updated units is definitely dated and has seen better days, but is still functional. Weve seen several cockroaches and bugs, but maintenance was prompt with coming to spray. Make sure to bring your own cleaning supplies as my bathroom in particular didnt seem to have been cleaned prior to move in. I havent had any issues with finding parking, and they fixed the potholes in the parking lot fairly promptly. The staff in the office have been respectful and helpful when Ive had questions. Once youve cleaned/vacuumed/sprayed/etc. and decorated, its a really cute place! The living room is larger than any Ive had before, and the bedrooms/closets are also pretty spacious. Its also a huge plus to have in-unit washer & dryer!

The meridian has been a great place to live so far! I love my apartment and the fact that I have a lot of my own space. The only down sides are that there were a couple things that needed fixing and there is a lot of loud music from neighbors.

I enjoy staying here it’s located in a good area with an abundant of food choices. I wish it didn’t flood as easily as it does but oh well lol.

Wish I could give this zero stars. Frequently have cockroaches and other bugs. Inconvenient visitor parking- they will tow you even in severe weather and a pandemic just a heads up.THEY HAVE ONE CAMERA ON THE PROPERTY.They will let your car get hit in the parking lot, have video evidence, but still refuse to do anything about it.Bike was locked up, yet it was still stolen. Did nothing about it. This is where a camera elsewhere in the complex would help.Dont live here.

Had some issues with appliances but most of them have been fixed within the past two weeks. The unrenovated apartments are very dated and it did not seem like things had been cleaned despite being told that they were. Some of the hardwood flooring has been warped in both the bathroom and under the sink. Have found several cockroaches already in the span of two weeks. I’m worried about mold becoming a problem in my bathroom and closet as there is poor air circulation. I’ve kept a fan in both areas but it continues to smell musty and damp, planning to buy a dehumidifier soon. Parking spaces are cramped but you can always find a spot. I have had few issues with noise. With some deep cleaning and Raid, you can definitely make it work for the price.

It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood. When I moved in the lights in my room were out, there was a lingering odor letting me know the room wasn’t cleaned, and I was told that I would have wood floors but it was carpet. The room was also smaller the the one I toured. The location is great but work orders take forever to complete. The managers and staff are really nice and accommodating.

Only reason Im giving the meridian a 4 is because some of the people who live here dont clean up after themselves and leave trash in parking lot. The units are a great price it was a great first place for my girlfriend and I. It was a rocky start with our relationship with the meridian but I can honestly say that the ending and living here was the opposite of that. They fixed all the wrongs and made them right. April is the best property manager and her team is helpful and great and quick to answer questions or get who they need to fix your problem. The maintenance team is awesome and great to talk to, ill miss those guys! Thank you meridian and April and team for a great first apartment experience! I will miss you all when my lease is over.

Been living here for a little over a year now and signed for next year. Low rates & great place to live since everything is close-by. Maintenance guys are helpful and Sydney is the best manager, she is accommodating and always willing to help if there is an issue. They also do random gift card contests & have food in the lobby on some occasions. Would def recommend :)

The Meridian is a great place to live! Sydney really helped out with the move in process and it helped the whole move smoothly. Maintenance responds relatively quickly on major issues. Overall, it has been a smooth transition moving to Tallahassee and moving into the Meridian!

I love it here. The transition was really smooth, and the staff here are very helpful. They really do try the best they can. I wish there was more people in maintenance but I guess that’s okay too. I once had a problem with my room but it got fixed in literally 10 minutes when I told them about it. Overall the Meridian is a quiet and calm complex with plenty of parking spaces. Anyone would be lucky to be here!

My room was unfurnished, so I have no reports on furniture quality.The new floors are really nice, and I’m always in the gym or clubhouse.The staff in the front office is professional and one of the managers (Im assuming because she has her own office) knew me by name on my second visit.Could use some new appliances, but they’re gradually upgrading units, so maybe it’s coming.

The internet is supposedly provided by the appartment complex, but they didnt pay for a technician and now my internet is cancelled but I cant do anything about it because the account belongs to the apartment complex.

Just moved in a week ago, and its been great living here! the staff is friendly, work diligently and made sure that the transition was as fast and simple as possible!

The meridian was always given a bad name so before signing my lease I was very skeptical of the place but I decide to give it a chance anyways... moving in was super easy the people in the office are very friendly and also helpful, yeah the place did need some cleaning work when moving in but other then that the rooms are huge and everything is just better then what i was told... and my neighbors think the same so I know it’s not just my apt that got lucky. Super economical and really close to school!I would like to add to this as i have been living here now for almost a year now, and I just cant believe those 1 star reviews from this place because of how good it has treated me and i would just like to add that because of one mistake this place has made doesnt mean you have to be mean but instead you should just talk to the staff here because of how nice they are and how easily they will solve your problem

The Meridian is a great place to live! All the experiences I have had here have been great. Maintainence is quick to fix things, even when the office is closed. The staff in the office is very friendly, and they are always attentive when you walk through the door!

Yeah... the other people leaving reviews here within the last couple days or so are only doing so to enter into some drawing that the complex is putting on. I highly doubt that any of them have lived here for as long as I have, and thus had the opportunity to have the unpleasant experiences I have. Moving in, I noticed that the dining area light didnt work, so I put in a maintenance request. Three moths later, still waiting for it to be fixed. The maintenance for the washing machine went about the same, taking a total of 4 maintenance requests over the span of 2 months to get to work. The walls in this place are rather thin as well, making it easy to hear what is happening even in the parking lot (I live on the 3rd floor). Though this stuff is unpleasant, it pales in comparison to the experience of my friends who were set to move in downstairs. They lived there for a couple of days before they were forced to leave due to a mold infestation. When the maintenance people were in their place trying to get rid of the mold, they told my friends that it would just return in a few days anyways. They moved the out the day after that. I plan to move out as soon as humanly possible, and I recommend that anyone who plans on moving in to just look to live elsewhere.

This is one of the worst places I’ve ever lived in. The people in the front office are not helpful nor informative on any thing you need to know. I had someone go to sublease and even had me pay the sublease fee. With that was never notified they didn’t go through with it as I was living in another city until rent became due. There are roaches living in the building and with this knowledge they send out one exterminator on Thursdays yet he barely sprays the place. The roaches are crawling every where and all the people up at the front office say is I’m sorry. It’s sad that it has brought me to write a review, I have never done this before but do not suggest any one living here.

Incredibly disorganized. I rented a furnished apartment. There was no furniture when I moved in. I managed to get a bed on the first day after camping out in the office and demanding one but It took 4 months to get the rest of my furniture and I was told I still had to pay the furniture fee after the first month since the bed alone counted. There was a roach problem, and a softball sized wasp nest on the eaves. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything your roommates and neighbors are doing. The stairwells smelled like mold, and the hot water runs out after 5 minutes. The management was replaced after I moved in and the new company was nicer but most of the issues are with the building. Dont live here.

The Meridian isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, especially compared to some of the reviews I’ve read and stories that I’ve heard. I love that the neighborhood is fairly quiet and although a few appliances are outdated, maintenance is quick, the price is good, and Nicole in the leasing office is always helpful!

I moved to the meridian two years ago, this was a perfect location, its not too far from any grocery stores or clubs. The price is affordable and it comes with washers and dryers. Although its catered to college students its not that loud and a comfortable place to study. I put 4 instead of 5 stars because I did deal with some minor maintenance issues when I first moved in that have since been addressed.

So far so decent... i mean most things when I moved in werent done and I had to put several maintenance orders and still in the process. But the staff in the office are nice and helpful.

So at first my review for the Meridian was 4 stars because the first month was fine and the staff is great! Now months after, my experience has been HORRIBLE. First off there has been a series of car break ins for the past few months and nothing has been done. My car personally has been broken into and my car was trashed. (Yes my door was locked and my alarm was on for my car, i ensure that my car is locked and I hear the alarm horn before walking upstairs for my security.) There is an urgent need for safety in the Meridian meaning there needs to be some sort of security/neighborhood watch team and put a gate or something around the complex cause clearly the community is not safe. Maintenance needs to do a better job of completing work orders in an urgent manner and some of the issues. The complex is not all that great. Do not move here cause my experience with living off campus has not been pleasurable. If you move here please proceed with caution.

Every staff member i have encountered so far has been pleasant and understanding to me. You have to talk to them to let them know what is going on and they will respond as soon as they can. April has been amazing. Nicole has been great. I strongly suggest speaking to them. They listen and understand

My son visited a friend in this apartment complex. He paid the parking and when he came out the car had been towed. The towing company indicates that it is the residents responsibility (in the lease) to tell guests that they have to be in a visitor spot. How can this complex hold a guest responsible for the negligence of the resident? And why isnt the policy posted for the guests to see? All-in-all, this is poor representation of this apartment complex. The car is a BMW and must be towed on a flatbed. If theres been damage (I dont yet have the vehicle), I will hold the apartment complex and the towing company responsible!My son lives in The Forum. While they have other issues... At least visitors of guests do not have to pay for parking.

The maintenance crew is great. Bryan one of the maintenance guys did an excellent job at fixing our stove, which had been acting up for a couple of days. He was also very generous in bringing us an updated dryer because ours was slowly but surely falling apart.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The Meridian may be cheap, but it is not worth it. Maintenance is very slow, your guests have to pay for parking, the office hours are hard to deal with to pick up packages (has to be within 48 hours) if you work everyday from 8am and 5pm like I do, they post utilities late, and the staff had no idea what was happening during changes to the property and couldnt answer questions. The old property managers were much better and never caused problems, this management does not do what they say they will.

I am a current resident here at the Meridian and I would have to disagree with some of these reviews. I have enjoyed my stay thus far its convenient very lowkey, quiet and perfect place for a grad school student that needs to focus on school. Maintenance is very reliable Ive put in work orders and they get done quickly. Not every complex is perfect Ive only had one issue and thats when it comes to payments but I recommend you keep your receipt and talk to the staff and they will fix the issue. I do recommend this place management and maintenance are GREAT and that always plays a key role when it comes to moving into a complex.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!The company that owned 1111 on High was so much better. This new company, College Town Properties, is so ineffective and inefficient. There is not one person in the staff that is polite and respectful. They treat you like you are a problem when you come to them with anything. They tell you that you owe one amount and then charge you another. Anything that happens in the property, not just in the apartment you are renting but outside it as well, is your fault. There was once a snake on the railing of the second floor stairs and when the property manager was told about it he said, thats not my problem, you can call animal control for that. They do not accept responsibility for anything that is actually their fault. Overall, this place has really and truly downgraded from the awesome place it was just one year ago. The Meridian is just not worth the inconvenience the staff cause.

My experience hasn’t been bad here, it definitely works on a case by case basis. Zarinah Washington helped me throughout the leasing process as I was lost (this is my first apartment) and she answered all my questions in a timely fashion.I am assuming that a lot of their upkeep budget goes into decorating the leasing office with modern furniture to appeal to potential future residents, since its aesthetic is far better than what the rest of the community looks like. I’d prefer for some of that money to go into fixing the potholes in the roads, improving the gym, or maybe not making visitors pay for parking. Other than that, the staff can sometimes be a little unprofessional, but they are still really helpful when I need it. I also love that the bus stop is right outside the neighborhood!If you want somewhere cheap to live, I recommend an upgraded apartment here.

The staff (maintenance included) is excellent, and if you dont experience any issues with your unit you should be fine. However, the property itself is really poorly managed. If you do happen to experience an issue such as water damage or an electrical burnout, expect that it wont be fixed until you make it into a huge deal. I wish I could give this place a better review but after two years of living here, I can confidently say that theyre not going to take you seriously unless you put your foot down when it comes to maintenance issues. It may be that I wasnt firm enough initially, but Id like to think that even as a student Im going to be taken seriously (especially since Im paying rent). Again, the staff is extremely kind and understanding, and maintenance is great when someone actually tells them where they need to be, but there is a serious issue of communication at this property between residents, office staff, and maintenance.

Great customer service from the start of application process thru lease-signing. I was able to communicate any time of the day with any questions on the website or via text. Zarinah Washington was always helpful, courteous and when I asked about local area info, she offered additional info and suggestions.

The Meridian is now under New Management and they are doing fantastic!We had a few problems when we moved in the lease before this one, but the new staff have bent over backwards to fix them and I honestly cant complain about anything now!When we first moved in the maintenance staff were rude, invasive and had zero respect for our privacy, often coming in uninvited or when they were specifically told not to! Since the new maintenance team has started, they have been respectful, helpful, courteous, polite and friendly! They bend over backwards to help when they can, often offering to help carry in boxes or furniture and when I put in a maintenance request or several, they always wait until Im home before they come into my home and they complete maintenance requests really fast and well! The office staff are also amazing! I would like to recognize the following staff for their hard work, dedication, friendliness and helpfulness:HopeSydneyNicoleAny names that I failed to mention, is simply because I havent gotten to know you yet! Cant say I have a single complaint about any of the staff any more!

This is an updated review: New management, new maintenance supervisor as well. All my problems that i previous had written about were resolved in less than two weeks (there was A LOT of work, but they did it!).shout out to April & Ron, thank you both.I think this place is turning around, its inexpensive and close to campus (if youre a student), we also have families here. Very pet friendly w/ doggy bag stations posted around the apartments.

Ive lived in a lot of places in Tallahassee but this place has been one of the most affordable yet. It has nice units with all the necessary amenities! It is super close to FSU campus, and right on the bus stop which was perfect for me. The only problem I had was that I had to move in somewhere in the middle of August and there was a period of time I had to couch surf with friends. Other than that Ive never really had a problem while living here. They are pet friendly which was great because I have a pup. The old management left the place sort of scrambled but I think that the new management is really nice and has made a difference. They have done a bunch of renovations and it is looking great. Certainly recommend living here!

The Meridian cleaning and maintenance forgot to clean our apartment before our move in date. There was mold in the cabinets, frayed carpet, broken doors and unpainted walls. The customer service staff were nice but full of empty promises. They have pushed back our move in date for over a week now and have lied to me and my roommate about the progress that has been done to fixing our apartment. I am highly unsatisfied and would not recommend.

Only in The Meridian could you pay about 700 dollars a month and have to live with a wasps nest on your window. You can call twice, leave a work order online, and wait a week, but youll still have to fight your way to the door. This place is not worth the rent.

Leased here for three years with different management every year, the newest management somehow being worse than the previous two. I had signed an addendum so that (like my first two years) my rent would include everything except electricity. However, after 3 months of billing me correctly, they lost my addendum and began to charge me for water and sewer as well. As they also failed to fill the other unit in my apartment this means I was forced to pay the water and sewer for both units in my apartment for the remainder of my lease, these charges amounted to over 1,500 dollars over the term of my lease. In addition, the complex is poorly kept and anyone who comes to your apartment will have to pay to park which is an annoying and expensive hassle.Do not rent here!

After first hand experience, I can successfully say that just about everything about this place is a bust. The staff are not helpful, the clinetal is garbage, the apartments themselves are (at times) very dirty upon first use, and often feature appliances that either dont work or are nasty and on the verge of failure.Also, staff need to straighten out what kind of information they hand out to people. If Im told vehicle towing wont begin until a certain date and my vehicle is towed anyways BEFORE THE DATE, theres a serious problem. Avoid this place, it makes The Hub right down the road look good.

I recently moved into The Meridian and I’ve had an overall good experience so far. The staff has always been super friendly and passionate about fulfilling their tenats needs in a timely manner. If you’re a looking for an affordable place to live comfortably in Tallahassee, I would highly recommend The Meridian.

The staff at 1111 are always nice and ready to please - both the office staff and the maintenance crew. Their rates are affordable and the units are nice with all the basic amenities. The complex features a pool, sand volleyball court, outdoor lounging, a pretty decent gym, and a very nice club house.Definitely the best place Ive ever lived.

I have been with the property for two years. Ever since new management took over, i see nothing but improvements and the office staff try their best to help! I am having a great experience here at The Meridian this year!

Fast friendly service an great staff at a affordable price

The Meridian is a great place to stay, is what I initially said for the first year being a resident; but all of that eventually changed when management and the Priess company became the owners of this property. They will show you the model and coax you into signing and the rooms look nothing like the model and are halfway decent. They will move you into an unit that has black mold and flooring undone with broken appliances. The utilities have skyrocketed and been over a hundred dollars usually around $150. They also will try to charge you and reimburse themselves after you’ve moved out even if the apartment is clean and the condition they gave you it in. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

The place is in dire need of an upgrade (I lived there for a year and my carpets were gross, not to mention the kitchen was falling apart). If you just need a basic room to sleep in & want easy monthly payments it is feasible. However, if you can afford something nicer I really recommend looking for other places. It felt like no matter how much I cleaned the place always felt dirty.

The staff is friendly and it is conveniently near FSU bus stops. Also a very quiet neighborhood!

The staff is friendly, they always try to listen to our ideas and make them happen. We have had some problems with some appliances but they always come in and fix it. @ZarinahWashington has always made herself available whenever we need something fixed, even in days off and birthdays. I like very much our apartment, wish the gym was a little bit more equipped and the pool and pool area cleaner. I enjoy very much their events and the prizes!

Had some issues with WiFi, and Zarinah just asked me for some router information, tried a reset and when it didn’t work scheduled an appointment. Prompt and polite.

Its an okay place if you dont have a lot of expectations, maintenance workers are nice once they finally come.

Had an okay experience, the main problem was moving in and the parking spaces are very close to each other.

I’m a Highlands resident, but there owned by the same company as the meridian. If you ever need help in the office ask for Zarinah she is great!

Its a good community close to campus. Clean apartment and good furniture. I really enjoyed living here for two years and the office staff was always friendly and helpful!

The meridian is a wonderful place to live at, people are pleasant and the staff is helpful. I made the right choice coming here without a doubt. The refreshing pool, a shower to rinse off after the pool, and the game room all contribute to the great perks of the meridian. The maintenance here is always available and promptly on time. They fix any problem we need but Javoris is the go to guy, hes a hard worker, fixing any problem, and is the only maintenance man I prefer. Parking is plentiful, and the employees fix issues and assist in a timely manner, just like Javoris.

Terrible, management company. Or companies I should say as within the 1.5 years Ive lived here there has been three different management changes. Completely unwilling to work at all with their current tenants and only care about the next turnover. The supervisor is ill equipped to handle any sort of issue and will just coldly give you a cliche Im sorry you feel that way.Ive had a missing bedroom door, a broken front door and a broken A/C for MONTHS now with no response except an e-mail lying saying the work order was completed. They seem to have plenty available staff when they arbitrarily come into my home to do maintenance in the shared space for the next resident, however.By far the worst place Ive lived Tallahassee.DO NOT RECCOMENDThe message the owner replied to is a perfect example of what Im talking about. 1.) The completely dismissive sorry you feel that way Im assuming couldve only been written by the very rude supervisor April and 2.) Implying Im to blame for the broken doors when THE STAFF literally took a hammer to my door because they lost their copy of the key.

I hated this place so much. I can say with utmost certainty that the office staff is the rudest, most inconsiderate staff Ive ever experienced. EVERYTHING that they can charge you for, they will. If your room floods for 4 months because theyre too stupid to fix a leak, YOU have to still pay full rent as if the living conditions are suitable. The apartments are dirty, infested with roaches, and honestly, not at all worth the time or the money. I lived there for two years, and Ive had more problems with them than I can imagine. Im greatly disappointed that I chose that place, and more so that I stayed there for an extra year when I should have gotten the hell out. READ THE LEASE CAREFULLY. They love to screw you with, Its in the lease, mold is a natural living thing, water flooding is normal, were going to charge you ridiculous prices for things you dont even owe, then state that its in the lease. Take my advice, just dont live there.

They literally lie to you about every single promise they make, i was promised a 200 dollar gift card upon signing my lease and it’s now 4 months later and I have not received it. My dryer has also been broken since I’ve moved in and they refuse to fix it. The worst management I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. The staff here are completely rude. They dont care about residents. Matter of fact, they discriminate. You have an office full of white women and they treat you differently if you arent white. Just saying

The office staff is always polite. The overall aesthetic of the building is nice and the amenities are very convenient .

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. First of all, theres hardly any guest parking and your car WILL get towed (from experience). Second, my car was KEYED here. Third, my boyfriends car was broken into several times and then STOLEN from here. No security cameras... Many people that live here arent students, so you have the chance of being roommates with a way older person who is not a student. Its really not worth the price.

Always a filthy apartment complex, physically and ethically, especially with this new management.They seem incapable of taking responsibility for the problems that are occurring under their watch, whether it was passed down to them from the previous management team or a new dilemma. They are highly disrespectful and simply shark salesmen (and women). There are too many quality places to live in in Tallahassee to waste your time and money here.Plus, visitor parking sucks.

Been here since august. Very nice inside apartments, clean & safe environment, never had to complain about loud neighbors. Staff is amazing, property manager Imani is the best. The gym is hott! Move in move in move in!!!!

Awful all around. Terrible quality of homes, outdated appliances, roads with potholes, horrible office service, trash everywhere, horrendous parking and ridiculously frequent towing along with with inconvenient guest parking makes this the worst experience I could imagine for living on my own.

Tried to add my review to the website but of course it didn’t post. I absolutely HATE this place. Moved in last week. Before moving in I asked to see the room that I was moving into because THERE IS NO FLOOR MODEL and I was told no by Portia, Glenn and another staff member whose name I can’t remember. I was told to base my room on the floor plan so I said okay because I know someone who lives in this DUMP and their room is very spacious so I requested a room JUST LIKE THEIRS. The bigger room that is extended and has a walk in closet WITH CARPET. I ordered furniture (a king sized bed with a headboard & footboard, a dresser, night stand and another taller dresser) because of the unit that I had been in and based everything off of the dimensions of that room since “all rooms are the same size and EVERY FLOOR PLAN IS THE SAME” which was a complete and utter LIE. Upon move in day I was put into a TINY room with dirty wood flooring, a terrible paint job with a dirty bathroom and no walk in closet. I went to the office not upset but disappointed because anger would have gotten me nowhere. I went to your LIFELESS, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL staff to express my distaste and everyone was rude and seemed nonchalant about them selling me a room that is not what I asked for and not what’s on the floor plan. Everytime I tried to talk Portia would cut me off and when I asked if she was going to keep cutting me off she had the nerve to say “yes because you keep saying the same thing” I had every mind to drag her through the office by that cheap weave in her head but I remained calm and asked to speak with the manager and was told “she’s just going to tell you the same thing I told you” . So the only resolution for the proble that they caused by LYING TO ME about where I am going to be living for a year is to find someone to sublease or just deal with it. I asked for the dimensions of the room because there are none on the floor plan and I was laughed at. I recommend you save your money and find somewhere else to live. ANYWHERE ELSE
