The building is a bit old, but the amazing team behind it more than makes up for any shortcomings. The maintenance team have been extremely helpful in any problem we’ve had. Parking prices are reasonable, and there’s EV charging too!

Amazing management. I had a smooth move in and when I had some issues in the apartment, the maintenance team geared up and resolve my case asap. Totally recommend AVA Belltown!

I must say, this was a terrific property and one of the only “out of 10” that I visited that actually was welcoming. I say this because I didn’t have an appointment. Several said they didn’t have time, don’t take walk ins, and you don’t have an appointment I cannot take you. Sure, the apartment is older, shoot it was how I felt that resonated with me. Community feel is there! Thank you for allowing me see the community Michael!

Garret did a great job installing our dishwasher along with the rest of the maintenance team who worked alongside him. He always kept me up to date when orders were going to be ready and set aside a good amount of time of what can be finished. Any of our smaller concerns regarding the needs of our apartment - he was willing to help here and there when necessary even with the smaller of checklist needs (ie change of lights, plumbing and understanding our appliances if there was confusion) Thanks Garret and AVA Belltown maintenance team!

Love our home at AVA Belltown. Its great being able to walk the dog across the street at the sculpture park and see the water every day. Mark has been excellent on site and hes gone above and beyond with every tiny issue.

My fiancee and I have been living at AVA Belltown for almost a year and it has been great. What sets this apartment apart from others is definitely their staff, especially Mark Corpuz. He is always responsive and consistently goes above and beyond with any issue or ask weve ever had. Would absolutely recommend to anyone moving to Seattle/Belltown. AVA Belltown and the Avalon community has been great to work with. As a resident coming from out of state they answered all my questions efficiently, and were actually available when I asked them. Mark especially, has made the entire process simple for two separate people from across the country.

A good community consultant/manager is an important factor to us while choosing where to live. We had a few options before deciding to go with AVA Belltown, and Mark is one of the main reasons. He is super responsive and solves issues efficiently. Glad we had his help that made a coast-to-coast move less hassle.

Weve been living at AVA Belltown for over 2 years now and love it! Its great being next the sculpture park and near the water, plus its dead quiet.The team here is great; Mark goes above a beyond to help us out with every little thing we ask, and the maintenance team get problems fixed really quickly.

We’ve been living here for almost one year and the staff is super friendly! My fiancé and i moved across the country to Seattle to a one-bedroom at Ava and 2 months in we realized we really needed a 2-bedroom for space. Mark was so accommodating and helpful and was able to set us up with a 2-bedroom really quickly! He has always been extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond for all the residents through putting on monthly get together as (even socially distant during COVID!)We’ve been so happy here at Ava Belltown and a lot of it is thanks to Mark!

Have only been at the AVA Belltown for around 2 months but so far I have had nothing but a good experience. We moved from a complex that never felt like home or a place we wanted to be because of noise, experiences, and stress there. AVA has been such a relief and we feel at home and relaxed here. Move in was smooth, maintenance is quick and attentive, staff is friendly and helpful, and noise is just typical and what is expected while living in an apartment. Im happy we choose this place and glad that after a year of not feeling at home, I finally do.

The move-in experience was really nice. Mark showed me around the place and he was really very helpful. The rooms were very neat and tidy. Not a single speck of dust. The gym has good facilities and you have Amazon hub lockers in the building. Overall a really good experience.

I think theyve done a good job keeping everything santized during COVID. I see people wipe down everything after delivery people come into the apartment building. They follow safety protocols when entering your apartment. I am very impressed.

We have lived here for 2 years and have another year on our lease. Honestly if we could purchase our place we would. We love living there. The location is great, the staff is wonderful, and our neighbors are so friendly. It’s an older building, but because of that it feels like it was built better than newer buildings in the area. 12/10 would recommend!

I love living at AVA Belltown. Been living here for 15 years. The staff is amazing, the apartments are fun, and its easy walking distance to just about anything I could want.

We love living here! Reasonable prices for the area, beautiful views, spacious apartments, quiet neighborhood but close to everything. The move-in policies were simple and just how they should be, and they offer a flexible option to upgrade to a bigger apartment if we need to. Oh, and charging stations for electric cars in the garage :) Highly recommend!

I will be moving to Seattle from the Southeast and recently visited to find a place to live. I am happy to say that I was able to find a home with Ava Belltown. Since the first day my girlfriend and I moved into our AVA apartment several months ago, Mark has made AVA feel like home for us. On Day 1, Mark answered our many questions and was very supportive, which reassured us and played a major role in our decision to choose AVA over other properties. Each day I return home from work that Mark is in the office, I am greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile. I could not be happier with the service that Mark provides, it does not go unnoticed and makes living at AVA even more enjoyable. Keep it up!Id like to also give a special shout-out to Marks and the rest of the staffs party-planning skills. The 2019 Halloween GrAVAyard Bash party was arguably the greatest apartment-hosted event Ive ever seen. Specifically, the crew went all-out on decorating the lobby and chill lounge, which surpassed my expectations and really made the event! Also, the food was great.

AVA is a lovely and cosy apartment with a very friendly and helpful staff(Mark and others). It is a 1 min walk from the scenic Pier 70. I would highly recommend AVA to anyone who is looking for a luxurious apartment in downtown Seattle

I have lived here for a year now and love the location. However, it seems that recently with the opening of the Ava Belltown towers our office at the Ava Belltown location is closed often and with very little notice. Also, something that really irritates me is the lack of communication of these closures as well as the elevator being reserved for move ins and NOT being reprogrammed for regular use after the tenant has moved in; sometimes the move in elevator is reserved for DAYS because the office is closed and none of the staff seems to be informed so that SOMEONE can reprogram the elevator back to regular use in a timely manner. There are only 2 elevators that move extremely slow and inefficiently, with one down the wait is ridiculous. With all the community staff workshops you guys have can one be about internal staff communication.

I moved in about 3 weeks ago and have really enjoyed my experience so far. The building is a little older than some others in the area, but it is very well maintained and has nice amenities like a 24 hr fitness center and a courtyard. Based on what I saw when I was looking for an apartment, units at AVA tend to be larger than the units in other apartments, but go for similar/sometimes lower pricing. Kindy & Jeff, as well as the maintenance team, are extremely helpful and responsive. Their welcoming attitude and energy really make you feel at home. Keep up the great work! :)

My wife and I lived here for 2 years, and it was the best renting experience Ive had. Maintenance requests were always taken care of within a day & the front office staff was always nice & helpful. The other tenants were nice and there were never any noise disturbances. The walls must be thick because I could never even hear the neighbors. Also the cost of parking is way lower than what Ive heard from other friends living in the area.

They cheated me out of my deposit- which was a full months rent- even after I told the lady in the financing office that NO ONE in the office told me about a possible charge, all she said was I see why you would be so mad. This, after I paid two months rent for breaking the lease. They are interested in your money, not in the community- YOURE BETTER ANYWHERE ELSE.

I really enjoyed my stay at AVA Belltown. Its in a really convenient location. I loved being next to the sculpture park and waterfront. Any maintenance repairs were made the next day. Jeff was really great and brought my newspapers into the building when I slept late. If I werent moving out of state, I definitely would have renewed my lease.

My husband and i just recently moved in to Ava Belltown together and we are so pleased by how great the staff is. We were nervous at first because it is our first time renting an apartment, but Johnny was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. We are renting a studio and it is perfect size for the two of us. The courtyard outside is so adorable!! Also there are plenty of shops in walking distance of the apartment. It feels like home already and we are so happy! :)

Absolutely love AVA Belltown! Great location, great space, great amenities including an awesome gym. Most importantly though, the staff is incredibly helpful. Not only do they go out of their way to help with the little things, they also put a ton of energy into making AVA Belltown feel like a true community with events like waffles on the weekend, group workouts, holiday special events, and more! Jeff especially has always been super helpful, addressing any and all questions/concerns and always greeting everyone with a huge smile. Cant recommend this community enough!

I lived here for almost 6 years and loved every minute of it. The location couldnt be better (20 minute walk to Amazon, 15 minute walk to the downtown core, 5 minute walk to the Space Needle and across the street to the Olympic Sculpture Park and amazing views of Elliott Bay & the Olympic Mountains). The apartment building itself is great with a nice courtyard, good gym, and onsite parking garage with EV charging). This building in particular has a great floor plan with some great 1 bedroom apartments with 800 sq. ft. of space (rare for Seattle).The staff was always super friendly and nice over the 6 years I was there. Specifically, Mark was super helpful when I had to move out on short notice (15 days) due to a job change. Overall, Id highly recommend that you check out AVA Belltown when youre shopping for your next apartment in the Downtown/Lower Queen Anne/Belltown/SLU area.

Love this place. First lived in AVA University District, but when I mentioned that I would love to be closer to my daughter & her boyfriend & their dog in Belltown, the staff at AVA Belltown said we can do that! And worked altogether to make it happen. Made everybody happy!

Updated Oct 2020:After moving out, let me update the review here from 5 stars to 3 stars. The water and sewer billing company, used by AVA, named Conservice is a scam. I have not lived in the apartment for the whole last billing period but they still billed me $65. They explained the number was estimated and it was stated in my lease. I read through every single word in my 54 pages lease and did not find such. There is a water meter in my apartment and they did not honor that. Other than that, the water bills only have dollar number never any details. I called both Avalon customer service and Conservice number, neither helped. They have raised my monthly bill many many times without telling me why the price increased so much while I kept my water usage pattern.Original:They raised the bar of how rental apartments should be. Both sales and maintenance teams did excellent jobs and exceeded my expectation. I‘m glad to renew my lease with them.

I moved into Ava Belltown around a year ago and I have nothing but good things to say. I am in the military and they have done everything to help my spouse with so many different things that they really dont have to do. the staff is amazing and super helpful! I moved into a studio initially and I wanted to move into a bigger apartment and they let me move in right down the hall basically the day I asked. Into a one bedroom apartment! maintenance is incredible I have had a couple of minor issues that were my fault with the appliances in the apartment and they came a day later after I put in a request. INCREDIBLE! 5 out of 5 stars. Oh and the apartments themselves are super clean moving into them nothing but good things to say about this complex if you have the chance to move here take it. Because this place is incredible!!!

My husband and I moved to AVA Belltown recently from AVA Capitol Hill. Jeff and Kindy made the transition and moving experience so easy, and answered all of our crazy moving day questions with ease. These two really go the extra mile to make their residents feel at home. When we visited there was a pumpkin carving event going on, there’s currently a gift wrap station for the holidays, and today a hot cocoa gift bag was at my door. The community is small and tucked in a chilled out corner of north Belltown. Our unit was in great shape at move in and we don’t hear a peep from neighbors.

Im very happy here at Ava Belltown. Ive lived in a few other apartment buildings in the area, this is by far my favorite due to the staff, location, and building. By far my favorite though is the support I’ve gotten from Mark Corpuz. He’s helped with all my leasing and parking questions. I was really disappointed when I found he was moving to another Ava location nearby.

When my relationship ended, I had to find a new apartment. During what was a very low point in my personal life, the thought of dealing with an apartment search was fairly depressing. Jeff at Avalon met with me, listened to my situation, understood my budget and what I wanted and showed me units with fit the bill. He explained the entire process, kept me updated, followed up exactly how he said he would, and made everything painless. When I arrived to pick up keys, Jeff was genuinely excited to walk me to the door and hand me the keys. When he told me Welcome Home I knew that I had made the right choice in choosing this location.It isnt as fancy as some of the newer places being thrown up all over the city, but the location is spectacular and I personally prefer a smaller building where management actually gets to know each resident personally. They gym is superb and the courtyard is cozy and well done. Its also very quiet, clean and well maintained.If youre looking for a new place to call home, be sure to stop by AVA Belltown and meet with Jeff. You can tell that he loves what he does and having met with other properties, I can tell you that isnt always the case!

My husband and I moved in a few months ago for a relatively short lease. Mark and his team were great communicators all the way from our initial inquiry, to move in, and to follow ups. The apartment was clean with good appliances. When weve needed minor help (e.g. fixing water pressure in the sink) the staff has been prompt and courteous. There have been a few good social events. The general vibe isnt too social but everyone seems very friendly. Nice bbq area, roomy gym, and lots of doggos!

Good apartment for the most part, but this company, they really screw you when you are trying to move out. The second you no longer live there all your paper work is the responsibility of an office in Virginia, so good luck if you have any disputes.

I’ve been a very long time resident of AVA Belltown and I’ve seen some ups and downs so when I see staff that come in and make such great positive changes I absolutely wanted to share. I continue to live here because I love the location and the awesome and spacious layout of the apartments! Ever since Jeff and Kindy have come to the office here things are different and in the best way possible. They have such vibrant energy, they respond to emails right away and help address any issues with honesty and kindness. I always appreciate how they say hello when I walk through the lobby and know my apartment number and my name. I would suggest to anyone to give AVA a chance if you’re looking for a new place. You will not be disappointed!

Great location and nice apartments. For the rent, I wish there were more upgraded amenities, and the hallways could use a makeover. There are multiple stains on the carpets, but the place is clean.

Ive lived at Ava Belltown for 3 years now, and since Kindy and Jeff came to the building as staff, the community has felt incredibly inclusive. They have brought new, positive energy to the apartment, remember residents by name, and are tremendously upbeat. Their apartment-wide events, socials, and festive period reminders are also a welcome treat! We love living here! The proximity of the building to downtown attractions and restaurants is also a big plus.

As someone who has worked in customer service, I really value the extra mile that the staff goes to helping me feel welcomed and finding a place to call home in Seattle. Everyone Ive met thus far from Jeff, Michael, Tracy, Gloria, Mohammed, Gerret, Russ, to name a few and last but not least Mark. Special shoutouts to Jeff who helped me with my initial move and then Mark who made renewing a no brainer.I really do enjoy the emphasis on community events not just in the building, but with other AVA locations as well. Sometimes it is the little things that matter the most, so thank you!Lastly, I really do value a company that treats their employees the way AVA does and one way is to provide them a weekend off (Sunday-Monday). At first, it was a bit tough not having the leasing office open two days out of the week, but with an Amazon Hub and mail box access it really hasnt been that big of a deal.

I am a new mover to AVA belltown. This is a very friendly and wonderful community. Moving is always a difficult experience, but the stuff there make the experience more sweet. Kindy is always willing to help. Once I moved large boxes, she even took off her heals to help me with it. Mr. Muhammad is very kind and smart as well. Once I received a bad bed frame from Ikea. He helped me to fix it. Stuff there are really lovely and great.

The staff is friendly and maintenance is on top of things. Wish the street noise wasnt as bad or the apartments had better sound proofing.

Jeff gave a really nice overview of the apartments and community on my first visit and tour. It was so nice that I signed a lease on the same day. The lease signing and move in process was easy and Jeff helped along each step.I moved into a studio apartment last week and am still surprised what can fit in a 460 sq ft space. Some other things I enjoy about the apartments: a washer and dryer in the unit, the most affordable price for parking in the area, waffle-centered community events, access to the cute courtyard and grill, free wi-fi (which has been super useful while we wait for the cable company), and 24 hour gym.There are some minor things that I wish were different like hearing trucks bounce around on the cobblestones on Clay St at 5 am. Its the only street around that seems to have cobblestones... I also wish we had some barbells and squat racks in the gym so I didnt have to keep my 24 hour fitness gym membership but thats just big wishing :)Otherwise Im happy with my choice in apartments as my first home in Seattle.

I broke my lease 2 months early as I purchased a house and opted for the accelerated rent, ie: paying the rent until the unit is rented again or the time due is up. They told me they would try and rent it again. They didnt, and I was informed that someone was moving in 1 day after the end of the lease!! Im paying for what I signed for, fine, but dont blatantly lie to your tenants, that is disrespectful and insulting.I will never trust AVA for anything ever again!

My wife and I were residents of Avalon Ava Belltown for 3 years. We finally moved out and it couldnt have come a moment too soon.First the positives: The apartments themselves are very comfortable. While a bit pricey, they are in very nice condition at move in. We rarely heard our neighbors and we had a unit facing clay, which meant the street traffic noise was manageable.The community had a decently accessorized weight room, but few other amenities. There is a common area on the first floor, but it was very rare to see anyone there. The community does not host or sponsor any events, so its not uncommon to constantly see complete strangers in the hall. There is also a pretty constant string of car break ins.The quality of staff at the complex has been on a gradual decline over the last year. By the time we moved out, the community manager was extremely rude and unhelpful to my wife and I during the entire move out process. We had to reach out to her multiple times regarding move out logistics and payment options. At one point, we had signed a contract saying that our move out fees would be do at the start of the following month, and after she signed it, demanded we payed then. It took her calling up the chain of command to finally let us go by the contract she had just had us sign.If you decide this is the community for you, be aware of their move out policies. The community has a policy that all payments are subject to being turned over to collections 15 days from the date of billing. This includes move out fees and remaining bills. We had a small charge remaining from utilities (not billed until they end of the month). We received a bill on July 11th from AVA that had been alleged billed July 3rd. After a few discussions with Avalon about incorrect and extraneous move out charges, we submitted payment. The next day, we received a call from their Customer Care department saying we were at risk of having our account sent to collections if we did not pay immediately over the phone. They informed us they were doing us a courtesy by calling us first. After I explained to the agent that we hadnt received the bill until 8 days after it was generated, he told me it was due at the moment it was billed. Overall, I am extremely unimpressed with their business practices.If youre looking for a place to live in Belltown, you can do a lot better than this.

I had the misfortune of staying here for corporate housing for two months. On the plus side, the courtyard is fun. On the minus, everything else. Staff are rude and unhelpful. They lost pacakages, never refilled the propane on the grill (the only good thing about the building), dirty halls, never responded to maintence requests. If you have the option, stay somewhere else.

We like living here.
