My lease is coming up soon and I will probably renew it. Pretty convenient area, lots to do and eat around here. Public transportation is nearby. Cheap rent considering the area and they’re flexible with the lease here. I don’t have problems with noise here. We got new managers about a month ago, Andrew & Annie. They seem to be putting in a good effort cause it’s been a lot cleaner around the premise and they’re easy to communicate with. Overall, not bad.

Campus Apartments provides the best value you can get for your money. Lived here for 2 years and had a fantastic stay. In a really convenient location and management really cares about their staff and tenants. Dont get confused by some of the negative reviews here, they are for The Campus Apartments which is located on brooklyn ave. New management Andrew & Annie are great managers and show 5 star hospitality.

Considering the locations, its okay. I live in studio & it was comfortable, quiet, and pretty clean. Front entrance is a gate, so its secure. You have call box if you have guests. New managers in February 2020 after a month or two without any manager at all. You notice the difference. Andrew & Annie very kind, you see them vacuuming on weekends and clean a lot. I had a leak on toilet and used online portal to submit maintenance request and they reply pretty quick. You can use online portal to pay rent too.

Note: I lived at Campus Apartments from June 2019 - May 2020 (before U-District light-rail opened). I cant speak for other reviewers, only my experience. I rented a studio apartment.4.5 StarsI understand 3 or 4 stars because this place is too expensive for some. There are also those who wont spend enough time in the living space to make the extra amenities worthwhile, so youd be paying for things you wouldnt use. While I probably overpaid, this was the only year (out of 4 years) that I enjoyed living near UW.Location: ExcellentShort walk to restaurants on University Way (under 5 minutes) and slightly longer (under 10 minutes) walks to any critical bus stops. Can travel downtown, to UW light Rail and to campus very easily by bus. Walking to campus is between 15 and 30 minutes depending on where you go. I worked on campus, so location was great for me.Living Space: ExcellentCompared to other studios around the university, this was significantly larger (mine was ~350 sq. ft.). It comes with a fridge/freezer of medium size and a small oven with a full stove-top. No dishwasher, and the counter space can fit a small appliance plus a dish rack. Full bathroom with your own hot water tank. Upper floors stay warm in winter without the heat turned on. Definitely a place you could spend time in, like I did.Privacy/Security: AverageLike the rest of the U-District, dont stay out too late if you can help it. The area north of the apartment has problems sometimes. This may change in the future once the larger apartment complexes in the area have completed construction. Multiple security doors on every entrance, but the back alley has problems with vandals, so be careful if you want to bring a car. Crime/disturbance issues were overall better than when I lived north of 45th. The walls are brick, so you will only hear people through your door and windows. Large packages are left inside building near the mailbox, but no packages were stolen in the year that I lived there.Management: Very GoodThe property managers (Andrew and Annie) treated me great. They were quickly responsive to my questions and requests, and never singled me out to bother me unnecessarily. Very understanding during inspections and move-out times.

The management does not care for their tenants! They have you sign a lease that states there is a zero tolerance for DV in the building, BUT each night myself and other neighbors have to call the police regularly because a couple that is abusive and disturbs the peace from 10pm till 3am some nights. This is triggering for any person who has been in abusive relationships in the past. This apartment building is a hell hole and not worth their extremely high rent prices for tiny studios with no hot water. No matter how many requests I or other tenants submit, the lack of hot water and pressure issue is constantly a problem. We are sick and tired of excuses and paying high rent to live in uninhabitable living conditions.

Inexpensive studios and single bedroom apartments. Parking was $50 a month when I was there. Good access to food, Burke Gilman trail, and mass transit. The room are pretty small, and garden level apartments have issues with people backing into parking spaces resulting in exhaust during the summer when windows are open.

Maggie the manager is the worse ! My refrigerator broke THREE TIMES and it took them two months to fix it. Maintenance is hell rude and will try to tell you off and catch an attitude because you don’t want them in your house without you present. The hot water has been broken since October 2018 (maybe even before then) and it’s July 2019 ! The amount of money I pay for this place is just not worth it. Neighbors are always loud and no does NOTHING about it.
