Has the best equipment and machines out of any gyms nearby, along with a lot of space. Just be cautious of the additional fees they may try to sneak your hand in, such as forcing you to buy their $40 initial fitness consultation. Otherwise, a good location.

My husband and I walked in and felt COMPLETELY welcomed by both Mark and Jennifer. We have been trying to find a new gym and this one seems perfect. Jennifer gave us a full tour of the gym prior to us even deciding to join. There are so many options to meet our goals. So far, I’m super excited. I’m so happy we signed up.

I have been going to the NRG Lab for over two years. The thing I enjoy most is the sense of community you feel when you walk through the door. I’ve always been greeted by name by those working the front desk and the instructors do an amazing job of getting to know the participants in their classes. The gym is extremely clean and well maintained. I enjoy the amenities in the locker room and often get ready there before work. They are also very quick to respond to emails, making me feel like my concerns and requests are important. I would recommend the NRG Lab to anyone who asks!

Do not go to this gym if you want an easy cancellation. They would not let me cancel without paying a ridiculous fee. I have payed them close to $500 and never even went 1 time.

I signed up today and they were great. Sam was very helpful and kind. Made getting back into the gym easy.

Lots of space in this gym, it has everything you need for all your fitness needs. Everything is clean and well maintained with exception of the dumbbells. The dumbbells from 60lbs and up are bent which changes the balance of them in your hands. Not only are these awkward to use but it could easily cause injury during use.

Stopped in for the first time under the new ownership (I had not been in here since it was Crunch). Very impressed with the cleanliness and new setup of the equipment. Thank you Mark for taking the time to show me around.

Jennifer took me on a tour yesterday, plan on returning today to join this gym. After my tour and reading these reviews I am very excited to get start. The hours and passcode are key to my fitness goals.

NRG is always clean and always easily accessible. I love that I can access the gym when hours are applicable with my phone as a pass key. Great assortment of equipment and plenty of room. Staff is always on top of being sure there is plenty of cleaning products....and the men’s locker is CLEAN .... Great place.

Allows members to not wear a mask after 8pm. When I arrive after work usually after 8pm no one wears a mask. They walk around talking maskless, don’t wipe down machines, I’ve tried to leave but unfortunately do to a contract I signed while being lied to by employees that it’s just “quick paperwork for agreements” nothing to do with being obligated to be there for a year. So I either go to the gym and most likely catch covid from this establishment or don’t go and be safe but still be forced to pay the $20 a month. My fault for not reading the 20 pages of paperwork that’s quickly swiped through by the employee. I will be going to the gym within the next two weeks to take pictures of all the people walking around and will post here and everywhere I can find to post about it so others don’t make the mistake I made. I will ask be looking into contacting the board of health

NRG Lab has gone above and beyond what is required during COVID-19 to ensure a clean and safe workout environment .Equipment is always cleaned and sanitized. Every patron who comes in is given a spray bottle and rag to wipe down equipment before and after they use it. Staff is extremely welcoming and professional. Overall very happy with this gym.

I signed up for NRG labs the day before the state shut down for covid and used there facilities once. I just got a call from debt collector saying NRG labs has been charging my account since they re opened even though I have not been back since that one time I was there.

I’ve been going to NRG for years now it’s the best gym and I’ve met so many new friends and all the trainers are awesome too. Highly recommended NRG

NRG is by fare the best gym I have ever worked out at. The atmosphere is positive staff are very professional. I look forward to coming to NRG each day .I cant say enough about the gym. I have been a member of NRG for a year now, and I have all great things to say about NRG. You cant beat the price of this gym because classes are included. They have spin, zumba, yoga, barre, muscle lifting classes, etc. There were open 24/7 prior to the pandemic. Since the pandemic all the instructors have been livestreaming so you can workout from home if you are not comfortable coming in physically. The place is clean and the staff is friendly!

All the staff at this location are amazing. By far the cleanest gym Ive been to. Cant wait to go back.

The day I signed up at NRG, they had just moved into a previous gym that had moved out. They were not fully up and running but I stayed and more and more they have made the gym a excellent facility. As they say on social media “1% better each day”. Staff and Management are helpful and friendly, facility is clean. It’s a great place to come. I recommend it to anyone.

All of the new equipment is high quality and there’s such a huge variety compared to what used to be here. The staff is also extremely friendly and greet you by name as you walk through the door. From the equipment to the new lighting, to the cleanliness, and the staff, this is an awesome place to go work out at!

I have been a member since this Gym was Boost (Then was Crunch, now NRG) and it has gotten leaps and bounds better. The facility is always clean and organized while being staffed my friendly employees. The new ownership immediately painted and made the cosmetic upgrades that were years overdue while moving in brand new equipment to make for a much better workout. The new layout allows for better flow and more space allowing them to increase the amount of equipment. I intend to stay for quite some time!

I have been a member at many different gyms for various reasons. NRG is by far the best membership around. They are more than just a gym. Love this club. New owner really cares aboutHis clientele and has made many upgrades in a short time. Its also owned and operated by a local family not a large chain so if you have a problem you could literally talk to the owner.

I was a member at another gym before NRG and it wasn’t that good of an experience. At NRG Franklin, the staff is amazing. They all work very hard to make sure the gym is clean, up to date, and an all around great environment for all members. I love all of the changes being made to better the gym. I am very proud to be a member of NRG Franklin!

They claim that they got new equipment at this gym and remodeled it. It does not look much different from the last 2 owners. I have been trying to cancel this gym membership for two months now and keep getting the run around. The first time I went in person to cancel and The employee said it was all set, only to get billed again. I called to explain and they said the person that did it, no longer works there. That’s their issue, they should correct it. The employee at the desk whom was very nice told me that the gym manager would call me. They never did. I went back in again and they then tell me they only take cancellations via email now. After 5 days I finally got a response telling me that I have to give a months notice in writing. We are now going on month 2. This place must be pretty desperate to keep people if they are scamming people into keeping their memberships!

The look of the gym is much improved from Crunch with a lot of new equipment. There is plenty of space to workout and have your own space. The new equipment provides a better workout environment.

Management is fantastic. The staff makes sure to stay on top of the club as far as cleaning and organization, which is huge for me! They create a welcoming environment for all members, definitely recommend!!

The new owners/management have really invested in this gym. It is a night and day difference to what it was before. Everything is more and better: cardio equipment, free weights, strength training machines. With more updates and improvements coming. If you havent looked at NRG in Franklin yet you are making a mistake.

Just joined this place and it is great and basically one of the only gyms that is 24 hours and uses a key card to swipe in which is genius. The trouble with the local gyms, they have restricted hours and do not allow access to members unless it is within the open hours which is nuts especially if you are looking to workout on holidays or early mornings. This place is a combination of two gyms and it is located in the Franklin Village shops. It is very large inside and has brand new equipment and several classes and even better the pricing is excellent. Basic membership is only $10 a month and that is great! Staff is nice and I predict this place will be a hit with the 24 hour access!

Friendly staff always greated with a smile. State of the art equipment and club is always spotless.

They have an annual fee which is ok, but if you don’t renew your membership the day before it runs out you will lose your membership and all information so they get to charge you another annual fee. The fee is 60$. Gym is fine just not worth 130$ for two months “10$ a month is lie”

Its basically a glorified hotel gym. Zero machines useful for a good workout, zero cybex or equivalent machines. You get a universal weighted cable machine for various exercises, the regular shoulder, leg, back and squat machines youd get at a hotel and thats it. If youre looking for a good workout, dont come to this location, if youre looking to do cardio, this will work.

Best $10/month gym I have ever joined. I lifted here back when it was Boost Fitness in late 2017. They have DBs up to 100 lb, a glute ham raise bench, two benches, three squat racks, a conditioning sled and lifting platforms with bumper plates! The club also offers 24-hour key fob access. Unfortunately I no longer work in Franklin, so I have little reason to come here.

Nice gym. offers nice equipment thats open for 24 hrs. One thing that makes me very upset is that they took the steam room down for no reason what so ever. One of the main reasons I signed up in the first place. Very very disappointing

Really poor in housekeeping and maintenance. Paper towels, cleaning spray run out frequently!Equipment doesn’t have spare handles and grips!

Every time I call they hang up on me. All I was doing was seeing how much the memberships are and they keep hanging up. That is terrible customer service.
