I personally don’t get pedicures that often, and I don’t have a preference on the place I go. I found this place through google with its high reviews and many reviews. The pedicure I got was like deluxe spa something. It was nice and included a lot of luxuries. I didn’t do any nail color, but the pedicure itself was really good, and the receptionist was nice. The interior and bathrooms were very nicely done.

I was on this side of town for business, and stumbled across this establishment. This is an appointment ONLY salon, but I “walked in,” and they serviced me right away! Very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, not to mention the CLEANLINESS of the ENTIRE salon. The nail tech that was assigned to me was absolutely amazing. She was very gentle and friendly, and she took very good care of me. I will be back at this spot for my next pedicure, it was worth the $30 spent. ♥️

I’ve always been greeted with a smile and great energy. The salon is clean and the techs are really kind and talented. The receptionist is a doll and very accommodating. I’d highly recommend.

I went there on yesterday to get a fill in. I called in advanced and was told to come on. The young lady that did my nails was rude and very ruff with my hands. I ask to get nail art on my hand and she told me no that it was by appointment only. I told her that I was called and was told to come on in. She said that she could not do it because they were short staffed. Needless to say after she did my nails she sat there scrolling on her cellphone while I got my toes done. So for at least 45 minutes she did not have a client and refused to provide excellent customer service. I will not ever return there again!!!!!

Lee and David are the best. They are professional and excellent at what they do. Book your appointment because they have a lot of business so dont fuss if you have to wait but the wait is worth it!

I just love treating myself. Who doesnt? Im very new her in Raleigh, Ive searched for a nail technician for a while. So far they are great! They get to know their clients and treat you with respect and knows the best for you. Its a little pricey from what Im used to but worth it! NEVER IN MY LIFE!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Ive been a regular customer for about a year and was treated so poorly by the young technician Lynn on valentines’ weekend. I paid $90.00 plus gave her a $10.00 tip for what I thought was a beautiful job. I purchased a glitter design for two nails costing $10.00 per nail and the glitter came off the next day. I contacted Lynn and told her about my nails, and she ask that I come to the salon. The moment I got there she approached with rudeness and defense. Stating that I messed up my own nails and if it happens again that she wouldn’t fix it. She even had the audacity to say that she saw bite marks on my nails…really…bite marks??? I tried keeping my composure and asked that she please respect me and how I didn’t deserve to be treated as such. And especially being a regular customer. I was very annoyed, but never once did I raise my voice. However, I was so confused and humiliated. Trying to stay calm, I mentioned that I think the glitter may have come off because there wasn’t a sealant. She nastily said that a sealant or topcoat would make my nail look like a “big glob” and she’s not supposed to put on a sealant. She also said that I needed to stay under the gel light for 90 seconds per hand. Well, she only placed me under the light for 54 seconds and then said that she had placed my hands under the light for what she says (90 seconds 2 times). She lied directly to my face and told me to never come back, all because I questioned her. WOW!!!! Then the male technician next to her yelled with her and told me to get out! Get out???? Please tell me what I did to be attacked. Her mistake and I became the issue and she now the victim. How Interesting!!!! Well guess what I went home put on a topcoat for sealant and the glitter stayed on as it was supposed to in the first place. Something that she should have done to avoid me having to return to the salon for correction. Lynn appears to know what she is doing, but obviously is an amateur at nails trying to make a name for herself at the salon. I am an African American professional in my fifties, and she appears to be no older than 20 years old, if that. What this incident showed me is this salon as well as other businesses of the same race have a history of treating African Americans with disrespect in our own communities but they have no problem taking our money. This salon DOES NOT deserve our money.Being that I cannot respond to Diva Nails reply, Ill respond here:Please review the entire footage. YOUR staff yelled at me. Like I said, never raising my voice while Lynn verbally attacked me. What you saw on the tape is me responding to her after she yelled for me to never come back! But of course you didnt see that.Thank you for acknowledging that you were informed that top coat should not be placed on matte finish. This clearly defines that Lynn knowingly applied the glitter, charged me $20 for a design that would not stay in place. However, accused and demeaned me by stating that I destroyed my own nails. Prior to applying the glitter to matte finish, Diva Nail should express as an option for clients to pursue or not. Meanwhile, as an fyi, top coat sealant did not change the look of the matte color because the gliiter completely covered the matte finish.Lastly, being that your clientele is predominantly African American and is primarily your source of income, Im just asking that you please respect those of us who are respectful. Im very aware of others in the community that were privy to negative experiences with your salon; however did not take time to offer a review. Again, I DID NOT deserve such treatment and believe that an apology for Lynns mistake wouldve been nice.

They lady was rude and she didn’t paint my nail all the way. And everytime I asked her to do something she got mad. And was getting a little physical with me and speaking her language. And I didn’t like that at all. It was a rush job. NEVER AGAIN!

It’s always a good time here. They’re amazing at their jobs and they make sure you’re satisfied with what you want before you leave. Love the service and environment here. Very clean and calming. I always go to David or Lynn but if you don’t want to wait they offer appointments that you can make on your own time but I’m never on time so I usually walk in. There’s usually a wait but it’s not long, and when there is a long wait they’ll ask if your could return at a later time or ask if you’re able to wait. Ive never had my nails done before and I needed to get them done for a photoshoot. Im not very girly so I had a friend come for support and tell me what i needed.I got full set gel almond shape matte color first time- loved them! Paid $58 plus 10-15 cash tipI came in a couple weeks later for fill in because I have a photoshoot on the week of Feb 22nd. The fill in was $46 plus 10 cash tipThe lady who did my fill in cut my fingernail so deep it bled. No problem, people make mistakes. But as it went on idk if it was just language barrier but I repeated myself several times. I was not satisfied or getting what I was paying for. Its only been less than a week and the nails are falling off and have warps in then and look very thick, un natural, and not shape I wanted.Heres the real problem. I called to get them fixed or get a free fill in or store credit. Or whatever! I dont care. Im not a KAREN, I know they work hard and I work hard for little money myself. Hence why Im doing these photoshoots.The lady that answered the phone was lovely and understanding the situation and was pleasant and that shed pass me off to the manager... the Male manager there hung up on me twice to not deal with the situation. I asked him if he did it on purpose and he said hell yeah I did and hung up again.FOR MY FIRST NAIL EXPERIENCE AT AGE 25 THIS WAS SO STRESSFUL AND NOT FUN and not to mention waste of money. Although this place is overpriced I have been coming here for some time bc it is convenient to my home. I came in on Saturday 2/15 and it took 3 hours to get a pedicure and fill. I paid a pricey additional 15.00 to get the gel polish (which i typically do) because I dont like chipped polish. 4 days later (2/19)the polish was chipping. I came in today 2/20 and asked if I could get the nail fixed and David rudely said i would have to wait in line. I stated that I had already waited 3 hrs on Saturday and to fix one nail that they messed up should not require me to wait. He and his snarky wife both said there are 3 people in front of you and you have to wait. So rude and unprofessional. They barely even made eye contact with me and it was as if they didnt care..They both have no sense of customer service whatsoever. I will never go back and I suggest if you are looking for quality work, quality customer service, and reasonable price..not to go here either.Added: If you read the response they still dont get it. Unlike all the others that were waiting, i was getting a nail FIXED, REPAIRED not a full new service and since i had to take time out of my schedule to come back in and have them REDO something that should have been done correctly the FIRST time it is unreasonable to expect me to wait another 3 hours to get a 15 minute repolish done. You can tell by their response to my complaint and to all the complaints by others that they are rude and unprofessional and have no clue about customer service..My point has been proven..there are nail shops on every corner..Choose Wisely

I had an appointment today and regardless of how busy it was I was still welcomed by the staff and didn’t have to wait. My nails came out perfectly and she even helped me decide what to do for my design. They stayed until well passed 10 to finish my nails. I’m so excited for my vacation that’s to diva nail spa. I always enjoy my time here and always feel welcomed.

I love this place! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. My friend and I were looking for a new nail salon to go to after having a bad experience at our usual spot. We are so happy to have found Diva Nail Spa? David did my nails. He did a fill-in, and the results are beautiful. He made them look more natural, while making sure they were durable! He also works very quickly, which I really appreciated! I can’t sit still for very long. Even though she works fast, he still does a PERFECT job. This place felt like a little family. They will do what they can to make you feel special. I highly recommend to everyone.

David did my nails today for the first time and did an amazing job. He was extremely detail oriented and gave me the exact style I asked for. Him and Lynn were both super nice. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I enjoy coming to the Diva Nail Spa the service there is excellent & the employees that work there are excellent as well, when you step inside youre greeted with a hi how may I help you you let them know & If you have an appointment they will let you know & then they will ask you to pick your color. When its time they will let you know where to sit & then they will ask you would you like anything to drink, to me thats good hospitality, I dont feel no way disrespected what so ever. Dont let no one who says falsely things about Diva Nail Spa & the employees who works there make you miss out on a very nice relaxing place, whether you are getting your nails done or getting a pedicure, or any other service they will make you feel welcome.

I usually go to David and never had any complaints. Today I went in for a nail repair, and was told it would be just a minute Needless to say I waited for an hour to be told that David wont be available until after 6 A complete waste of time. I was offered for the owner to fix my nail but she was the reason why I was back for the 3rd time, same nail. I dont complain often, but this is not acceptable. A simple update goes a long way!!!!

I love this nail salon. The pricing is affordable and the set up is nice. I recommend David. The shop is always crowded, especially on weekend. To avoid having to wait long time, I make my appointments in advance. I recommend this nail shop.

I definitely like this place and the prices so Ill return. I have been back a couple times. David does a beautiful job on my nails but it is best to schedule an appointment since hes very busy.

I’m moving back to ATL soon and I’ll miss my favorite nail techs so much! They will do any design you ask for and accommodate all of your needs regardless how late you come! David and Lynn have been doing my nails ever since I moved to Raleigh. Yen usually does my pedicure and eyebrows and I’m so sad to leave my little family. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome and I’m never disappointed with my nails. Every set they put on me last for 3-4 weeks!! I love this place

Lynn did my nails and my mom’s nails today and OMGG she did so great! It was our first time and every question we had was answered. She never got annoyed with any of our questions or concerns. she was so professional! She helped me and my mom pick a color and she made sure we were satisfied before we left!!! The service I recieved was horrible, to start I was overcharged. It took two hours for the guy to do a fill in & polish change. My nails were lumpy, uneven & the shape was terrible. When i went back they told me my set was old. A set i just got two weeks ago. There was no apology. They sat around talking in their language & treated me as if they were unable to see how jacked up my nails & feet were. It looks nice inside though.

A friend of mine told me about this new nail salon, said they did good on her pedicure but advised i DO NOT get my nails done here because her GEL polish was peeling and chipping the very next day. well i gave them the benefit of the doubt and still allowed them to do my nails. Polish peeled completely off on several nails within a matter of 2-3days. I went back to get them fixed (another lady was waiting on the same thing). They told me 30 mins... well i ended up just leaving because the wait was even longer and they showed no care or concern. HORRIBLE.

I’m not sure who did my nails but it was a young girl very RUDE and unprofessional did not say one word to me I asked for something to drink she stated I could only have water very unhappy and my nails are TRASH

When I walked in, I asked for a fill in. I was seated on the side, beside someone that was getting serviced. My female partner, asked could she sit over where I was, or sit at the nail drying station. I asked, and Lynn said it was ok for her to sit over where were. Lynn says something in her language as she took her seat, and her fiance looks up at her and sorta makes a face. My first guess is that she said something about her being dressed like a male. Ok, is this place LGBTQ friendly? You know when someone is talking about you. Anyway, so I proceed to get me nails done. She shaves the previous gel polish off of my nails, leaves some on there. I dont say anything just yet. I needed a cut down, but they were still too long. I need my nails really short. She did, but with attitude, she rushed to file them. Then she started filing it down with the coarse filer and then starts to brush the anti fungal liquid on them. There is still blue polish on my nail, I tell her. She said something in her language, yet again. Then removes it. So skip to the last part. I have never seen anyone use a coarse filer to smooth the acrylic. Always the gold or silver one. But guess what? She did. And then she went to close to my cuticle. I said Ouch 3 times only for the nail look like a press on when she gets done. She asked what color, I told her one and she went to get it, and never came back to the chair. Another lady who looked like the owner, painted my nails. She fixed my thumb that looked like a press on. I mean the acrylic was so thick at the cuticle. Turned out beautiful after it was painted. All while this was happening, Lynn casually files her nails and checks her phone.Now, they were supposed to give a 20% discount but I was charged full price for the gel and cut down. And only discounted on the actual fill. She said it was because I got more cut down. My nails werent even long to begin with. As she explained why she overcharged me she had a major attitude. First impressions are everything and LYNN gave the worst one. I paid for it, I dont care if it was 4 dollars more. Im also paying for service. Needless to say she didnt get a tip.I work in customer service and I know exactly what it looks like when you only work for a paycheck. I’ve been to this place ever since they opened an I usually get Kelly BUT yesterday the youngest girlIn the shop did my nails an she got my shape lookin on fleek!! Go and ask for the youngest girl! She’ll get your shape lookin good an she does it so smooth!! No bumpy or lumpy nails!!!!
